If I had a nickel for every time a MF's character has a poetic dead as the result of their ambition and wrong doing, while wearing a black turtleneck shirt, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that happened twice. Right?

Wild Target (2010)
I watched this movie a few years ago when I started to get obsessed with Emily Blunt, and I didn't remember the plot very well, but it made me laugh I knew that for sure. So, I decided to watch it again.
And yes, it is funny, and Emily Blunt is so charming but I knew that already. She had me twirling my hair and kicking my feet. Like.. I would protect her for free.
The first hour of the movie is a masterpiece. It had me laughing out loud, that's not easy.
The third act was a letdown. I remember being kinda shocked that they put Bill Nighy and Emily together because it is established that he is an old man, that was a thing but hey, Emily's character was a free spirit, exactly what he needed, I guess.
It'd have been better if he trained both of them like they were his children.
Also, I saw Gideon's Daughter before this, where Emily played his daughter and I know the movies are 5 years apart but here Emily was 27 years old, and he was 65, playing a character that was 54 years old.
Movies like Oppenheimer are great because of all the praise she is getting, and she'll most likely get her first Oscar nomination but she is so funny I want her in a comedy so bad. A good one tho (Looking at you wild mountain thyme)
I really love this movie. And is this the best someone has looked in a movie?

CURIOSITIES
1-Remake of a French movie: Cible émouvante (1993).
2-The plot involves a painting of Rembrandt, a character played by MF in the movie Nightwatching.
3-The character of MF (Hector Dixon), is paired with Peter Guillam of the movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011). Impossible not to love the killer/spy dynamic. <3
