Wisdom Teeth Removal In Anna Nagar
Wisdom Teeth Removal and Reasons of Extraction Surgery
Primitive people consumed a lot of fibrous and coarse foods. Wisdom teeth aid in the chewing function and aid in chewing unrefined and raw cooked vegetarian meats. Over time, food becomes more refined and less coarse. This change in eating habits has limited the need for wisdom teeth to grow, leading to a reduced ability to grow third molars.
What do you mean by Widom Teeth?
Wisdom teeth are called third molars. They are present at the back of the upper and lower jaw. They will be the last teeth to be emerged in the oral cavity. They usually flare up between the ages of 17 and 25; However, in some people, wisdom teeth grow even in their 40s and 50s. This is why these teeth are called wisdom teeth because they appear during the period of life called “wisdom teeth”.Do you need wisdom teeth removal in Anna Nagar?
When Wisdom Teeth become a cause of concern?
There are some cases where wisdom teeth need to be removed because they affect the remaining teeth. This happens because they sometimes don't have space to grow because they already have teeth.Butthey must break off and can therefore grow at different angles in the jaw, even horizontally.Other common problems arising with wisdom teeth include:
Remains hidden in the gums, eventually becoming trapped or impinging on the jaw, leading to infection or abscesses that damage the roots of other teeth and erode the bone support
Erupts partially through the gums but is difficult to see and Clean. This is where bacteria that cause gum disease and oral infections gather.
Complete eruption, but affects adjacent teeth by growing crookedly, causing crowding and damage to surrounding healthy teeth.
Wisdom Tooth Removal Surgery -𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆
Wisdom tooth removal surgery is also known as wisdom tooth extraction. This is a dental procedure used to remove a tooth from the third set of molars popularly known as “wisdom teeth.” Surgery is often used when teeth are affected. Wisdom tooth extraction is usually performed on an outpatient basis under light anesthesia. Recovery from wisdom tooth extraction may need six weeks, but most people can return to normal activities within a day or two.Book your appointment for the bestwisdom teeth removal in Anna Nagar?

All-On-Four dental implants are more stable and secure than standard dentures.
The All-On-Four dental implant is an option for patients who need numerous teeth replaced, or even a whole upper or lower set of teeth. The procedure is a relatively new technique in dentistry and allows patients to receive an entire arch of prosthetic teeth in a single appointment with a surgeon. By using just 4 dental implants instead of one implant per tooth, the procedure is minimally invasive and can replace an entire set of teeth without the need for repeat surgical visits.
About All-On-Four Dental Implants
The All-On-Four treatment is used to replace the entire upper or lower set of teeth. The procedure creates a permanent prosthesis by using 4 dental implants which act as an anchor for a bridge or overdenture of 12 to 14 teeth. This technique avoids having to have extensive bone grafting procedure. All-On-Four dental implants can replace both damaged and missing teeth and provide a long-term, permanent alternative to dentures.

Dental Implants - Procedure and Benefits
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1c98d86de4cc3c23acee3dfba0c03fec/6dd7d905e9d4d4a2-2f/s540x810/ece2550f94624994ffaec3f63bed044b0231ca83.jpg)
Dental care treatment has become an absolute necessity for millions of people worldwide; in spite of improvements and advancements in dental care and health, people are afflicted by gum disease and tooth decay. Till a few decades ago, bridges and fixing dentures were two main options for treating people with missing, broken or in situations where teeth have to be surgically removed.
Modern day dental care includes dental implants that are replacement teeth roots. An implant can support one or more artificial teeth; the implant is a screw made of titanium that is fixed into the jawbone in place of a tooth root when it fails. They provide a strong foundation or base on which removable or permanent teeth can be fixed to match existing natural teeth.
There are many advantages to dental implants, some of which are:
• Greater comfort - dental implants can help avoid discomfort of fixing and removing dentures.
• Ease of chewing and eating food - dentures do not always fit 100%; with use they become less fitting and chances of slipping out while chewing food are high. With dental implants, this problem is eliminated.
• Better oral health - dental implants do not require other teeth to be modified or adjusted thus ensuring that more natural teeth are left unharmed thereby improving dental health and hygiene in the long-term.
• Improvement in appearance - since dental implants are so designed that they fuse with the jawbone; they become permanent and feel like natural teeth.
• Speech improvement - unlike slurring or mumbling sometimes caused by dentures, implants do not slip ensuring better speech and communication.
• More confidence and self esteem - a good smile brings back confidence and a spring in the step.
• Convenience - dentures have to be removed and cleaned everyday; with dental implants this is not necessary at all.
• Durability - dental plates can last a lifetime with proper care and regular dental check-up.

Why You Should Look Into Dental Implants
Losing a tooth can significantly disturb your quality of life, creating some difficulty in everyday activities like eating and speaking. Although modern dental restorative procedures have resulted in a considerable reduction in the number of teeth extracted each year, many people still have one or more missing natural teeth in their mouth. According to an estimate, about 70% of American people aged 35-44 have lost at least one of their natural teeth. If you are one of them and looking for a permanent and lifelong replacement option for a missing tooth, then dental implants should be your first choice!
What is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a fixture that is embedded within the jaw bone and replaces natural teeth by supporting a prosthesis, such as a crown or removable or fixed denture. After the placement of dental implants, bone formation occurs in the surroundings of the implant, resulting in firm anchorage and stability of the artificial tooth.
How Do Dental Implants Work?
The success and excellent durability of dental implants is dependent upon their ability to form direct contact with the surrounding jaw bone. This process is known as osseointegration and ensures that any prosthesis that is placed over the implant remains retained and stable, thereby restoring optimal functioning of the artificial tooth.
Who Should Get an Implant?
In general, any person who has one or more missing natural teeth is a candidate for an implant. You should consider getting an implant if:
• You want a long term and durable replacement for your missing natural teeth.
• You want to restore your facial esthetics by getting your missing teeth replaced.
• You want to eat and speak without any difficulty.
• You want to get rid of your inconvenient and uncomfortable dentures.

Perhaps you wanted to undergo an oral surgery because you wanted to do something about your present oral condition. If you really are keen to go through an oral surgery then you better find a trusted surgery group that can help you with your oral needs.
Gone were the days when surgeries were performed only as a result of bad dental maintenance. Several reasons are now seen appropriate as follows:
• Crooked Teeth - as a result of the wisdom teeth growing out when we transform from our teens to our early twenties. Though it should normally come out strong and straight, some people are not that lucky. Wisdom teeth that go out crooked and shaky doesn't only look wrong, it feels wrong. That is why those unlucky people would definitely want to get rid of the teeth through an surgery.
• Tooth Loss - some people normally lose a tooth or two in his whole lifetime. Some people even lost more! An oral surgery has become the best option for most people who have seen that it can give them a more uniformed and natural-looking teeth that they cannot get from dentures and bridges.
• TMJ Disorders or Temporomandibular joint disorders happen when there's a problem with a person's small joint in front of his ear in the area where his skull and lower jaw meet. This disorder gives a person headache and facial pain that he usually treats with medications, immobilizers and physical therapy. An oral surgery though will take all the headaches and pain once and for all.

The treatment comprises the expulsion of the wisdom tooth that is causing the issue. The extraction ought to be accurately surveyed, and any disease must be mended before evacuation. The extraction ought not to be performed if there isn't a condition that requires fixing.
Wisdom teeth extractions have fewer issues whenever performed before the tooth has quit developing, so it is essential to check with your dental specialist when distress shows up.
