ive watched the new wicked trailer 5 times by now and i cant get over how bad of a trailer it is. im sure the movie is fine/average but why did they have to do it dirty with that trailer

An explanation? I don't have one of those. This AU is nothing but vibes built upon the foundation of whatever music I'm listening to at the moment. For example, this drawing's musical inspiration is Defying Gravity from Wicked the muscial.

This weekend is a birthday celebration for a few members of my extended family, so I'll be seeing a bunch of them. And I have a friend visiting from out of town, so we're getting brunch :)

Musicals? LOVE THEM. my music taste in general has always gravitated toward "very talented vocalists" almost irrespective of genre or lyrics or production, so musicals are right up my alley.

I love both stage productions and movie musicals, some faves (both sentimental and not) are: Wicked, Mean Girls (mostly the Regina numbers lmao), Moulin Rouge (the movie), Sound of Music, Hamilton, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Twisted, Come From Away, Anastasia (the movie version), Kinky Boots

I really want to see Hadestown, The Lion King (the stage version), Waitress, Fun Home, SIX, and probably a whole bunch more that I can't recall right now lol

I cried like a baby through the entire film. it was beautiful, it was magical, it was hilarious.

there isn't a time I've missed Wicked the Musical coming to my city, i grew up with this muscial, and this movie was all of my heart about this play put into one.

Normally I get unreasonably obsessed with one musical a year. 2021 was Groundhog Day the Muscial, 2022 was Frankenstein: A New Musical, 2023 was Wicked. I don't know what happened this year. I am DROWNING IN MUSICALS.

i do love musicals! I’d say my top three are Wicked, The Greatest Showman, and Six

And as for cheese… hmm I’m not gonna say I like all cheeses but I really like the mild ones like colby jack and havarti. although sharp cheddar and ghost pepper cheeses are really good too-

I’ve watched “The Wiz” and the impression I have of it is – dark. Even during the scenes which should bright and colourfull it’s dark. I mean – imagine the Emerald City – it’s never dark – and here it still is. As for me, it was also pretty boring sometimes, but that’s, probably, because I’m not a huge fan of the original Baum’s book and because it’s a little too long. The point is – it’s a musical, based on the “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, with an all-black cast and jazzy musical numbers. Michael Jackson stars in the movie, and I’m not here to talk about all the scandals around him, after all – in that movie he’s only twenty and all that stuff for him is still in the future. By the way, Jackson plays the Scarecrow. What I also have to mention is that the Oz looks like it’s something post-apocalyptic – everything’s in ruins, trash’s everywhere, some strange people (animals? – creatures) are sneaking everywhere. The only place which looks more or less fine is the Emerald City. The Wicked Witch of the West is portrayed very unusually for everybody who’s used to Margaret Hamilton’s appearance and performance. Some songs pretty cool, especially “Ease on Down the Road”. So, yes, generally, I liked it but probably expected a little more from it.
