Heya if your requests are open could I request Mammon and Satan with an mc who ignores and is very passive about others being rude to them, but the moment someone starts talking shot about the people they care about they get defensive and upset?
Like, the, "you can talk about me all you want, but if you talk shit about my bffs or s/o you'll find a fist to your face" type of mentality.
Tumblr media
hi anon :DD THIS RQ IS SO CUTE IM SO EXCITED TO WRITE IT AAA satan stans rise !!! (that sounds terrible out of context)
W/ Protective and Defensive S/O
⤷ mammon, satan x gn!reader (separate)
warnings: ugly ppl talking bad abt ur fav demon boys :(, mammon calls reader princess, mentions of sex (??) in mammon's
Tumblr media
- [ ♡ ] mammon
As you and the whitehead walked down the hallway full of laughs and intertwined hands, Mammon couldn't help but overhear the loud group of girls pointing and laughing at your figure as the both of you kept walking down the halls. Mammon saw the whispering in each other's ears mockingly, but when he turned his attention back onto you as he sent them a scoff, you looked unphased. Turning your head up to meet gazes, you gave him a soft smile.
"It's fine Mammon, ignore them", you reassured him, rubbing your thumb against the back of his hand to calm him down.
Mammon smiled at you, proud of how you could care less about what other people think of you. You caring about what other people thought about the people you loved though, that was a different story.
As you two walked into the cafeteria, you couldn't help but overhear a group of demons- scratch that your ex and his group of friends talking bad about your boyfriend. Your fists clenched as they continued and their footsteps grew louder as they strutted closer to you two. Mammon noticed you tense up and reaches out to grab your hand but a voice stops him.
"Yikes Y/N looks like you've downgraded", that was your limit, you stood up boring your gaze into your exes soul.
"At least he can keep his s/o for longer than a week", your eyes narrowed at his reaction, his fist clenched, and his lips formed a scowl.
"Bet you're just using him for his money"
"Right, like how you use girl just for sex?"
Your ex was fuming by now, deciding he had no tolerance left to deal with you, he and his posse left. You sat back down next to Mammon, his eyes were wide and his mouth agape. You laughed and pushed his chin up, closing his mouth.
"That's my princess", he smirked, wrapping his arm around you.
You scoffed and shook the arm off, turning to him, "it seems like you're more of the princess and I'm your prince... but whatever floats your boat"
"HEY!"
Tumblr media
- [ ♡ ] satan
It was currently your free period and Satan had offered to help you study for an upcoming test. As the two of you entered the library, Satan found a perfect spot, it was quite desolate and surrounded by the filled shelves. All was peaceful until a group of witches approached you and your boyfriend.
"Y/N was it?", the girl smiled, venom lacing her tone.
"Yeah?", you looked up, your gaze meeting hers.
"I just thought I should ask because... everyone's been thinking about it... how did someone like you score him?", her smirk grew in size, analyzing your face in hopes of a reaction.
"Sorry... who are you?", you asked, distaste filling the girl's tastebuds.
The girl only scoffed and stomped her foot lightly, "whatever, it was just a question. I can see why you guys got together considering you... y'know, you and he's the demon of wrath."
Before she could walk away, you stood up and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back in front of you, "look you can talk all the shit you want about me, but don't even try talking shit about my boyfriend, you're going to be digging your own grave."
Leaving the girl stunned, you made your way back to Satan and sat down as if nothing happened.
"Y/N?", you looked up sweetly, locking eyes with him.
"Y/N... I'm sorry"
"Why are you sorry?", you asked, your hand reaching for his
"This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't known for... y'know.."
"Satan, you are so much more than your wrath."

Black Lives Matter: A (By No Means Complete) Reading List
Tumblr media
“Books are a form of political action. Books are knowledge. Books are a reflection. Books change your mind.” - Toni Morrison
It has always been, and always will be, vital to educate ourselves on the world around us. In response to the Black Lives Matter movement, I hope that this blog can become a platform for sharing resources on black history and literature, in a conscious effort to educate both ourselves and those around us. It is our duty to continue to amplify the voices of people of colour, because it is through education that we can make lasting changes in the world.
Here you will find a list of books and essays by authors of colour, and which speak about the experiences of people of colour everywhere. By committing to read even one of these books, you are expanding your consciousness of the lives around you, and giving people of colour a voice.

mistletoe (five hargreeves x reader)
requested by anon “can I request a 93 and 82 with five? Maybe with other friends (though I doubt five has any) or luter and allison, around Christmas and the whole charmed mistletoe thing where they cant get out till they kiss? I've been obsessed with your writing and now its four am here pls send sleep okthankyoubye. ily”
summary after agreeing to go on a “double date” with klaus and some guy, you and five find yourselves in a fake date situation. but as if the night couldn’t get any more tense with you two hiding your feelings for each other, you get stuck under some inescapable mistletoe. (au where there is no apocalypse, and they’re both aged up to 16-17ish)
a/n i hope u got some sleep anon
o hey i do writing prompts,, those used in this fic will be in bold
Tumblr media
gif cred belongs to @whitehead
“...and so he won’t go unless another couple is with us,” klaus finished explaining, looking desperately to you and five sitting on his bed. “will you two do it?”
you both blushed at the accusation, not looking at each other. “we’re not a couple,” five offered, clearing his throat and glaring at his brother, who very much knew his infatuation with you.
“i know! i know,” klaus nodded, holding his hands up innocently. “you don’t have to think of it as a date! just doing me a favor!” he grinned hopefully at you two.
five finally glanced over at you. “what do you think?”
you tried to shrug as casually as you could. “i don’t think there’s any harm in it. you?”
five focused his hard gaze back on his brother. “you owe us.”
“yes!” klaus exclaimed. “yes, of course! and i promise you both, double dates aren’t bad. well, actually, i’ve only been in a foursome-”
“it’s not a double date,” five cut off. “we’re just third and fourth wheeling.”
you nodded, pointing at him. “i like that.” he offered you a quick smile, trying his best not to acknowledge his blush in hopes that it would go away.
“regardless, it’ll be fun!” klaus smiled. “meet us at griddy’s at eight!” he strutted out of the room.
“you sure you wanna do this?” you said, offering five a small laugh as you both stood.
he shrugged, tucking his hands in his pockets and avoiding your gaze. “i have nothing better to do. besides, now klaus owes us one.”
“true,” you giggled, starting to walk out of the room. “any idea what you’re gonna use that favor on?”
five watched you walk out and took a breath before following. “i have a few ideas.”
...
you stepped out of the snow and into the small donut shop, immediately looking up when you spotted a familiar herb in your peripheral vision. mistletoe was hung just before the entrance of the shop, and yet it was some kind of different. you weren’t sure what it was, but it gave you the same feeling you had whenever your witch friend worked her wonders.
“i wonder where that mistletoe came from..,” you muttered to yourself as you stepped away from it. you reminded yourself not to fall into whatever trap it was and walked over to sit at the counter.
the owner, agnes, came out, giving you a smile as she pulled out her pad and pen. “what can i get you, dear?”
you were about to respond when a voice spoke over yours, “two hot chocolates.”
you turned to see five standing behind you, looking unamused. your eyebrows raised as you took his appearance. instead of being adorned in his usual academy uniform, he had traded in for a pair of nice slacks and a sweater vest thrown over a nice shirt.
he took the seat next to you as you smiled at him. “you look nice,” you offered as agnes went to make your orders.
“i look like an idiot,” he grumbled.
you brushed his shoulder with your hand, picking off some fuzz. “you look like a normal teenage boy.”
“exactly.”
you giggled as agnes set your drinks in front of you, making him smirk. “are klaus and his date on their way?”
“yeah,” he sighed, taking a sip of the hot drink. “i think his date’s picking him up at the academy. i figured i’d skip out on that experience.”
you let out a laugh. “i would’ve, too.” five watched your smile as you sipped at your hot chocolate.
“you look lovely, by the way,” he complimented. you arched an eyebrow at him. “that wasn’t sarcasm.”
“you saying it wasn’t sarcasm sounded more like sarcasm,” you giggled. “but thank you, five.” he nodded, taking another drink to cover his rising blush.
“there they are!” you both turned to see klaus enter the shop dramatically, a guy you hadn’t seen before holding the door open from the outside. you watched the mistletoe cautiously, but nothing happened. the other guy trailed behind klaus as he trotted up to you two. “dave, this is y/n and five.”
dave took klaus’s hand and smiled at you two. “nice to meet you two.”
“you, too,” you said, giving him a polite smile. five simply nodded at him as he sipped down the rest of his hot chocolate. “so, how’d you two meet?”
dave blushed. “well-”
“we can talk about this on our way to the movie, can’t we?” klaus interrupted impatiently. “i wanna get specific seats..”
you and five exchanged a knowing glance as dave nodded. “sure thing. let’s go.”
you both stood from your seats and you all headed toward the door. dave rushed forward to hold the door open for klaus before taking his hand again, both of them beginning to walk ahead of you two. and that’s when it happened.
five had reached an arm out to catch the door before it closed and hold it open for you, but instead his arm bounced off of an invisible force. he stumbled back. giving you a confused look when you simply sighed, trying to move forward again. the same thing happened. he tried another time, even tried to jump out using his power. none of it worked.
“what’s happening?” he asked you, huffing out a frustrated breath.
you looked up, and he followed your gaze to the innocent looking mistletoe. “it’s been charmed, i think by a witch.”
“okay, what does that mean?” he prodded, running a hand through his hair.
you avoided his gaze as you explained, “we have to kiss to break it.”
five went silent, pursing his lips as he considered. it didn’t take long for him to sigh and say, “well. better make it good.”
you looked up to give him a curious look, but didn’t have to chance as five pulled you to him by your waist, wrapping his arms around you and dipping you down in the most cliche way possible, connecting your lips in the most passionate kiss you had ever experienced.
you placed your hands on his cheeks as you rushed to catch up with his fiercely moving lips, allowing yourself to relax into him as you finally satisfied the urge that screamed in your body every time you saw him. just a moment after you tilted your head to deepen the kiss even further, five pulled away and looked up. the mistletoe had disappeared.
he swung you both back up with ease, but didn’t let go of you yet. you were breathless, hands now resting on his chest as you stared into each other’s clouded eyes. without saying another word, you threw your arms over his shoulders and connected your lips again. he was ready, quickly taking control as you kissed him over and over and over again in the empty donut shop.
when you pulled away again, resting your foreheads against each other, his gaze burned into yours as your breaths mingled. you felt like you were on fire.
“think they’ve noticed we’re gone?” you breathed with a laugh. five shook his head, giving you a smirk.
“i think klaus took an edible before this, he has no idea what’s going on,” he offered. you laughed again.
“then we should just go back to the academy,” you drawled, “and watch a movie..” he pretended to consider. “.. and maybe find some more mistletoe.”
“i do like that.”

I was tagged by @advena87 so here is my response
OTP Game!
Pick your top 10 OTPs without reading the questions.
1. Lambert x Keira
2. Geralt x Jaskier
3. Geralt x Essi Daven
4. Maleficent x Diaval
5. Steve x Tony
6. Rapunzel x Eugene (pol.ver. “Julek”)
7. Richie Tozier x Eddie Kakspbrak
8. Harry Hart x Eggsy
9. Squirrel Girl/Doreen Green x Nancy Whitehead
10. Sir Lazlo x Eskel (XD)
1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6?
I was sure that they will end up together, c'mon it's Disney, but the cool montage where they do different activities around the city and both of them actually enjoyed the time they spend together was really cute.
2. Have you ever read a fanfic about 2?
Yes.
3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr screen saver?
Nope.
4. If 7 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?
Well, one of them is dead so...
5. Why is 1 so important?
I love Lambert. I love Keira. I love the idea about both of them together. They are good for each other. 100% gross, 100% sarcastic, 100% perfect couple.
6. Is 9 a funny ship or a serious ship?
Definitely serious. I even wrote one fanfiction about them, but that was years ago.
7. Out of all the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
Richie and Eddie.
8. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond?
Steve and Tony.
9. How many times have your read/watched 10’s fandom
I made this ship. XD
10. Which ship has lasted the longest?
Steve and Tony.
11. How many times, if ever, has 6 broken up?
I'm not sure, I don't follow the Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure.
12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 or 8?
In first Kingsman movie, people because of the mind control behaved kinda like zombies so I guess Harry and Eggsy would survive. but both of the ships have a fair chance.
13. Did 7 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
This ship is not a canon. But Richie had a lot of internalized homophobia and was scared to show anyone his true feelings.
14. Is 4 still together?
Yes(kinda).
15. Is 10 canon?
Again. I made this ship.
16. If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?
Squirrel Girl/Doreen and Nancy. Doreen killed Thanos. She is unbeatable.
17. Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship?
They themself. Other people. Awful writing in MCU.
18. Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond?
1, 5 and 3 - but only because I genuinely think that Essi and Geralt could be a good couple.
19. Do you spend hours a day going through 3’s tumblr page?
I think there is only 2 or 3 posts about them together.
20. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the ten ships to break up forever or else she’d break them all forever, which ship would you sink?
Sir Lazlo and Eskel - it’s not a canon and I made this ship up.

Track 9. Woman
Harry Styles x OC x Fionn Whitehead
Harry has a fit of jealousy during the Dunkirk premiere so Olivia teaches him how to share. [5.6k]
Genre: smut
Warnings: sexual language
Tumblr media
  July 2018
Harry’s getting ready for the Dunkirk premiere in his London flat, where Lou Teasdale and Harry Lambert made their HQ. When he’s finally done, he waits for Olivia. He had Harry design a custom gown specially for her, he hasn’t seen it yet so expectations are high.
First come the footsteps, heels clicking against the wooden floor. His eyes shoot up to the hallway and there she is. A deep red velvet gown contrasts with the clear pattern of the walls, bodice hugging her chest tightly as the skirt leaves a gap through which her leg shows. Her dark skin glistens on the ceiling lights, only her jewels shine brighter: a Cartier choker and bracelet, nothing more. Harry can’t stop that silly grin from showing, it’s inevitable.
“I know, I look so good!” she teases and they all laugh at her unbridled pride. “Really, I look like a skanky witch!”
“That’s what I was channeling for the dress” Lambert comments through his giggles.
“You can’t even tell I gave birth like... few months ago”
Harry can tell she’s still a bit insecure about her body but if not she looks even more gorgeous. The baby didn’t take as much of a toll on her as she thought it would. She did gain weight but she was way too skinny to begin with so if anything she looks an average size. Right now, little Rio is spending some quality time with her nana and Harry has to hold himself as to not keeping calling to check on her. Last time he checked, she was sleeping soundly and eating everything her crazy aunt Gemma was preparing.
“You look amazing” Harry hugs her waist and pecks her cheek, holding her possessively. Right on time, Jeff walks through the front door.
“The car is waiting outside, is everybody ready?”
“Yes, coming in a minute, go ahead” Olivia hurries to pick her bag and give Lou a warm and thankful hug.
After all the goodbyes are over, Harry rests a hand on her exposed back and leads her out, making sure she’s always at arm’s length. When they’re in the elevator, she adjusts her braids in front of the mirror and, on the corner of her eye, notices he’s staring. Instead of messing with him she just winks at his reflection.
He loves it, the whole outfit, but the dress makes him a bit uncomfortable. He can see it already, all those pretty young actors running their hands on her bare arms and hugging her bare back, their indiscreet glances towards her cleavage. Harry clenches his fist involuntarily. Calmness resurfaces naturally, but then he remembers Fionn.
Fionn Whitehead made very clear during the shootings of “Dunkirk” that he had eyes for Olivia. By that time they were not married yet but they were in a good moment, so she came over during her weekends off just to visit him and get to know a bit of France. It was a bit of a strike to his ego to know Fionn had the hots for her, not only because of the threat he supposedly was but because Harry also had the hots for him – and no shame of it. Now they’re about to meet again, and Oli looks impossible not to look.
“Earth to Harry” she waves at him when they arrive at the parking lot, “you okay?”
“Sure, love” he holds her hand and brings the back of it to his lips.
“How’s Rio? Everything alright?”
“Right as rain, mum’s loving it” he chuckles.
“I miss my baby” she pouts playfully and he mimics her, like two children mocking each other.
“We’ll pick her up first thing in the morning, until then we got a Christopher Nolan premiere, can you believe?”
“Still trying to process that... look, if I try to grab Cillian Murphy, please stop me”
“I promise I won’t” he mocks and she chuckles fondly. He does know her so well.
Harry rushes to greet the chauffeur with a handshake and open the door to Olivia, helping her inside. He then walks to the other side of the car, adjusting his fist cuffs before sitting beside her.  She holds the excess of fabric so he can snuggle in and wrap an arm around her shoulders. The way she crosses her legs makes her knees and calf slip through a gap in the skirt, she doesn’t mind it but he does. It’s impossible not to stare in awe at how sexy she looks in this dress. When the soft material slips, it creeps to reveal her thigh, soft against the velvet like a jewel inside its box. It’s getting harder to focus elsewhere, so he gently rests his hand on her exposed knee making her turn.
“You look amazing in that dress” he whispers on her ear, biting just a bit of it. She chuckles darkly  and gets more comfortable against his side, feeling the heat in the car rise instantly as he nuzzles the side of her neck. “Can’t wait to get it off-“
“You two, behave!” Jeff takes the front seat of the car and they part slightly, finally taking the streets.
Olivia clears her throat. “So, what’s the movie about again?”
“It’s about the evacuation of Dunkirk beach, when these small civilian ships went to rescue the English soldiers” he briefly explains.
“Why did they have to be rescued?”
“Because the Germans invaded France and surrounded them”
“Ok, but why the civilians? Where was the navy?” she shakes her head confusedly and he giggles.
“I thought you were good in history”
She takes a bit of distance and smugly claims: “I am, I know my history, thank you very much”
“Alright, fair enough” he quits arguing, knowing better than to step on her national pride.
“Who do you play in the movie?”
“He can’t disclaim that” Jeff interrupts and they turn their eyes to him.
“I think I can disclaim that to my wife” Harry shrugs in disbelief.
“No, that’d break the contract, you can’t disclaim that” he sticks a finger in front of his nose. “Don’t make me get you out of trouble”
“Alright, grandpa” he mocks and turns back to Oli who grins amusedly.
They arrive at the red carpet and leave the fancy car, Harry once more walking around adjusting his suit before opening the door for her and helping her out. The cameras follow them from their first step, capturing how he keeps a hand on her back at every move, making sure he’s the only one to touch her.
“If you get tired of the pictures, let me know” he says in her ear before laying a small kiss on her cheekbone.
“It’s ok, Haz” she smiles and follows him to the first step of the red carpet: the fans. His fans are not exactly fond of her, but she understands that nobody will ever be worthy of their idol so she doesn’t take it personally. But she also knows some of his fanbase follows her musical career as well and appreciate it, so is no surprise when they ask for pictures with her.
They go forward on the red carpet path paying attention to who calls their names, she reaches the end sooner than he, as she has less demands, and greets some of Harry’s co-stars.
“Hey Oli, remember me?” a young man with dark hair and fancy suit asks.
“Fionn, right?” she makes a fake guessing antic. She knows precisely who he is, as she hardly forgets someone so pretty and so devastatingly charming. They met when she visited the set in France, watching him from a distance and low-key hitting on him. She assumed Harry didn’t mind, after all he also had a huge crush on his co-star.
“Yes” he smiles and hugs her, pulling away a bit to chat but she holds his hand in a friendly manner.
“Sorry, you guys all look so alike, I’m still trying to figure it out” they laugh. From a distance, Harry divides his attention between the fans and their cameras, and Fionn placing a hand on Olivia’s bare back, leading her away to meet the cast.
When she meets Cillian Murphy, it’s hard to tell who’s more excited: Oli for meeting her idol or Cillian for meeting such a gorgeous woman. Harry thought he would enjoy the scene but it couldn’t be more of the contrary. When they part, he smiles and lays an earnest kiss on the back of her hand. Something inside him immediately ticks and he doesn’t like it. He rushes through the last pictures and autographs, keeping track of her hugging and laughing with the guys. He tries not to get cranky and maintain a soft smile, but it’s getting under his skin. When Fionn leans to whisper something in her ear, hands stroking her waist over the velvet and pulling her close, it’s the last drop.
Harry excuses himself and skips a whole section of fans to make his way to Olivia, putting on a mask of civility but internally burning Fionn with his eyes. He first takes Oli’s hand and kisses her forehead, then stares down at his co-stars, catching one of them staring down her cleavage.
“How you doing chap?” Harry offers a hand for him to shake and dragging his eyes away from her.
“Harry” he nods, shaking his hand.
“Think you all know my wife, I need to steal her for a moment” he tugs on her hand and urges her to follow.
“Nice to meet you, guys!” They get in the queue for the photographs and before they even stand in front of the cameras, he wraps an arm around her possessively. “Why are you jealous?” she whispers between them.
“I’m not jealous...?” he clumsily denies.
“You just used the W word like a dominant alpha male” she smiles vaguely amused while he chuckles embarrassedly. “I know you like the back of my hand, Edwards”
“So do I, Maria” she makes a mock betrayed face but laughs all along. “Let’s never use middle names again, please”
“Let'sr... but really, Haz, what’s under your skin? You’re acting weird”
He sighs, knowing better than to keep it inside. “I don’t like the way he’s touching you”
She turns her head to the cast gathering. “Who? Fionn? I thought you liked Fionn” she whispers between them, “like... really liked Fionn... what’s the word for that? When you got the hots for someone?”
“Fancy?”
“Yeah”
“Alright, I might fancy Fionn, but I fancy you even more and I don’t like it when he gets familiar” he explains candidly, making sure they’re the only ones listening to the conversation.
“What if I like it?”
He chuckles, not expecting that answer – although he should. “Then let me know” he smirks.
“Harry, you’re up” Jeff indicates, guiding both of them to the designated spot.
He poses in a relaxed manner, holding her close against his side like a proud peacock showing off his mate. In his mind, there’s hardly any woman as stunning as her in the red carpet, so when the cameras flash in their direction, he knows she’s glowing. He can’t help but look at her in awe and happily let the cameras capture every ounce of love pouring down his eyes as she smiles confidently to the photographers.
“Everything ok?” he asks discreetly.
“My irises are burning” she sings the last word and he chuckles, pulling her away from the blinking lights and to the movie theater’s doors where the last pictures are supposed to be taken. “Harry, where are you!? Gah, I can’t see anything!” she plays, blinking mockingly.
He laughs and pulls her against his back, her makeup staining his dark suit but they don’t mind. “Hold on, love” she envelops him by the waist, not so shy when it comes to public displays of affection. Holding on to his back, she tries to mimic his steps like a child until they have to pose again. “Last one, I promise”
They take few last pictures with her snuggling his side and him holding her embrace, both smiling wide and proud for the world to see. When they’re done, Fionn shows up again, straightening his front buttons like a classy gentleman.
“You doing any interviews now?” he asks Harry.
“Yeah, just a couple ones” he replies.
“‘Right, I’ll walk in and take a seat. I can take Oli if you want” for a moment, Harry’s brain almost fires a violent chain reaction, but she leans a hand discreetly on his chest to calm him down.
“I can take myself, thank you very much, but I’ll take the company” she nods charismatically then turns to give jealous-boy some attention. “I’ll wait inside, be nice!”
“I’m always nice” he steals a kiss from her lips and grins smugly, watching her take Fionn’s arm and walk inside the movie theater.
The movie is a tragically beautiful tale of patriotism and hope, and despite belonging to a completely different culture, Olivia gives credit to the pride and heroism of the British people. She stands up to clap at the end, turning to praise all the actors and specially Harry, whose narcissistic side doesn’t mind being pandered to. After the screening, the crew serves a flute of champagne for the guests as Chris Nolan makes a grand toast, extending the reception for a couple more hours of refined chattering.
“Fionn!” Harry laces the man’s shoulders, pressing him in a strangely intimate way. “You were bloody brilliant”
“You’re drunk” he laughs, feeling his alcoholic breath fan across his face.
“I’m not, I’m just a bit cheery. Listen, they’re almost wrapping up, do you wanna come over to my place?”
“Sure, I mean... is Oli okay with it?” he stutters a bit. Fionn is very fond of the couple, and they’ve been really friendly so far, he would dedicate a couple more hours of his life to spend some time with them.
“Of course”
“Alright then, but I can’t stay long, I’ve got a flight in the morning”
“We’ll just get some wine, it won’t take long. I’ll just say goodbye to everyone”
The three of them are thrown over the back seat of a limousine, a bit more giggly than usual but still able to hold a conversation. They struggle to get to the door and unlock it but eventually they make it and get comfortable on the living room. Olivia lays over the black fabric of the sofa, laughing at some witty commentary Fionn just made while Harry pulls her shoes off. He knows she’s really weak when it comes to alcohol, it’s better to just leave her light and jolly on the living room than to make her break things in the kitchen.
“Thanks sweetheart” she smiles endearingly to Harry as he turns to reach the kitchen and serve them some appetizers.
“Is he some kind of slave?” Fionn mocks, undressing his suit’s jacket.
“Sure, he’s my white slave. It’s historical justice” she fires back, sitting up straight to look at him. “You can sit down”
“I should help Harry in the kitchen”
“Nonsense, you’re our guest” she holds him and pulls him by the hand to sit beside her, while she supports her arm on the backboard and turns her body towards him.
“I don’t know, I think he’s mad at me or something. Don’t you think he’s acting weird?”
“I’ll tell you a secret” she leans very close to his ear. “He’s jealous”
“Why would he be jealous?” he asks with a curious grin.
Her dozy eyes look at him amusedly as she bites her bottom lip, like a child boasting about something. “He doesn’t like other men touching me”
“That’s silly”
“I know, but he can’t help it. He just needs to learn how to share...” his words die on his throat as his drunken brain works through the meaning of her words. Now he’s excited to know how this night is going to end.
Finally Harry walks in with a plate of snacks and three glasses. Fionn attempts to put some distance between him and Oli, but she holds him back with a playful look. “Here we go, I’ll get some wine. Do you like rosé, Fionn?”
“Uh- sure”
“Great, it’s all we’ve got” Harry reaches the nearby wine rack, turning back to the two of them in the sofa. “Oli doesn’t like red wine, so it’s either that or white”
“I don’t mind, mate” he helps himself with a handful of nuts while Harry pours the rosé in their glasses.
“Shall we make a toast?” Olivia gets up and takes her glass, raising it to both the men. “Here’s to your brilliant performances and to the beautiful mastermind of Christopher Nolan”
“I wanna raise a toast” Fionn interrupts, “to the two of you, one of the loveliest couples I’ve ever met. Cheers guys”
“Cheers mate” they clink their glasses and down the contents in few sips, falling back on the couch right after. The way they seat has Oli in the middle, her back thrown over Harry’s chest and Fionn right beside her.
“Did you like the premiere?” he asks.
“I did, it was really fancy... I would’ve enjoyed more if Harry wasn’t so moody”
“I’m not moody” he defends himself, making a nonsensical antic to Fionn.
“I can’t greet a couple of handsome young men that you immediately put on a pout”
“One of these young men was staring at your tits”
“Who was it?” the gossipy bitch inside Fionn begs to know.
“Jack, that creepy pervert”
“Don’t be so harsh on him, he just went through puberty” Harry laughs, “he’s still nervous around pretty girls”
“Why thank you Fionn” she regards his implicit compliment.
“My pleasure, Oli” he shoots her a charming grin and hold her eyes for ransom, making the air heavy with tension.
“Get a room, you two” they laugh at Harry’s taunting until Olivia decides to spice up the game.
“Why a room” she crawls to straddle Fionn’s lap, keeping a respectful distance in a disrespectful position. “You know I like it better in the sofa”
“Is that so?” Fionn raises a brow, deciding to tag along. Instead of breaking the act in on itself, Harry decides to push it as far as it goes and flex the stiff attitude that bugged him all afternoon.
“Go on then, don’t mind me” he pours some rosé in his glass before returning to a comfortable position in his seat.
Olivia smirks at him before looking down at Fionn, brushing her lips against his teasingly, making him reach up for her, only then does she concede for theirs lips to touch. It starts like an innocent kiss, but then she slowly runs her hips up and down Fionn’s, testing his restrained control. Harry bites the inside of his cheek, determined not to be consumed by jealousy but entertained by his cheeky wife’s little game, even as Fionn runs his hands over her velvet covered ass. She pull his hair down, exposing his neck to her tender sensual kisses and Fionn basks in her affection, all worries about taking it too far are gone from his mind as long as she takes the first steps. She runs her lips over his jaw, smudging it with lipstick until she finds his mouth again and kisses it through a grin, she’s loving it. But it can get better.
Still straddling Fionn, she turns to Harry with a tempting smirk. “You’re just gonna watch?”
“If you insist” he gets up, leaving his suit jacket on the sofa’s armrest. He stands behind Olivia, gathering her braids and resting them over a shoulder, exposing the other one for him. He lets her dress strip slide down her arm, grasping her waist as his lips lay waste to her shoulder and neck, leaving little love bites on her dark skin. Fionn makes himself useful leaning over her and running his lips over the whole extent of her cleavage, savoring the salty taste of her skin comparing to the bittersweetness of her wine flavored lips.
At some point, Fionn nuzzles in Harry’s cheek and he presses a kiss to it, giving Harry the queue he was waiting for. He licks Fionn’s lips unapologetically before they share a steamy kiss against the shell of Oli’s ear. She smiles to herself, proud of accomplishing a little treat for herself and also for her husband, whom she knows takes great pleasure in the company of both men and women. They never thought their marriage should be restrictive, little games like this just prove the point.
“This is what happens when you share, Styles” she laughs to herself and the men stop the kiss to join her.
“As usual you were right, love” he pecks her cheek, “now why don’t we take this to the bedroom?”
“Yeah, that’s better” Fionn agrees and supports Oli while she straddles out of him, walking towards the hallway in a nearby corner of the flat. Harry and Fionn look at each other with lust before following her and shutting the door.
“Before we start, a few rules” Harry walks to his bedside table while Fionn crawls over Oli on the bed. Before he can kiss her sweet lips again, a small pack hits his head. “If you’re gonna fuck my wife, wear a rubber”
“Such a drama queen” she chuckles at her theatrical life-long partner.
“Also- look at me” he cups Fionn’s jaw and pull his attention, “If anyone wants to stop, we all stop”
“Fine by me” he reaches and bites Harry’s lip teasingly. They both start to undress their formal buttons shirt, standing shirtless over a gasping Olivia who is still dressed in a fancy gown. Fionn leans over Oli and rolls her over to straddle him now without any concern for a respectful distance, so she unapologetically rubs her panties against his growing bulge, he shuts his eyes and sighs, imagining how her cunt would feel around him. Harry drops his pants to the floor, crawling on his boxers until he reaches the close of her dress, sliding down the zipper so the fabric pools on her waist revealing her round breasts. He cups them from behind and they fit perfectly in his hand, specially when he traps her nipples between his fingers making them hard as rock.
Oli stands over the bed, letting the velvet slip to her feet before discarding it on the ground. On her absence, Harry reaches for Fionn, climbing him and ravishing his body from his chest up to his lips with tantalizing kisses and love bites. In return he cups his ass cheeks, reaching under the waistband to creep between them and sliding a slim finger in there, something Harry didn’t get in a long time. With his moaning consent, Fionn sticks said finger in his entrance, playing in and out as he cries in pleasure only with a small teasing, sparking his curiosity to explore his body as well as Olivia’s. For a moment she doesn’t participate, just sits on a bed corner pleasing herself at the sight of her gorgeous husband being finger fucked by a really handsome and charming man.
“Look at that” Fionn nods in her direction and Harry turns to look, finding his wife reaching inside her panties to touch herself away from them. “Fuck Harry, you’re wife is so hot” he whispers, turned on by her quiet moans.
“I know” he holds Fionn’s hand away for a moment just so he can pull Olivia closer, snatching her hand out of her pants and laying her on the duvet, joining her in a sandwich between her and Fionn, allowing him to tease his ass while he pays attention to his wife. Harry slides a finger inside her mouth and she sucks on it sensually, running the texture of her tongue against his salty skin before it leaves her lips with a pop. She makes herself more comfortable in his arms while he takes his slick fingers where her hand previously was to stroke her folds and flick the swollen nub between them. The sensation of her on his finger tips isn’t enough, he needs to taste her, but at the same time Fionn replaces his finger with the head of his cock, pressing its entrance on the difficult spot until the muscle relaxes and he buries his length inside Harry. “Mhmm fuck...”
The wave of pleasure that hits him distracts him from the finger work he was doing on her. “Hey, don’t stop” she whispers cupping his cheek. Still a bit dazed, he sticks two fingers inside her and do the best he can to please her, alternating between languid teasing strokes and fast hard stocks. Fionn thrusts mercilessly into Harry, holding up a thigh to get a better angle while he comes undone in his arms, but at one point he has to take a break, leaning across Harry to kiss Olivia. She smiles through the kiss, giving him those big brown lustful eyes before they shut in a spasm of pleasure. If he wasn’t so tucked inside Harry, he’d fuck her right now.
“Fuck, you’re so good” he whispers on the shell of his ear before thrusting hard and deep, wrenching a groan from him before returning to a faster pace. The quicker Fionn gets, the more Harry works his fingers in Olivia, to the point her walls clutch him throbbing in pleasure and she cries out one last time finally reaching the first orgasm of the night. Harry comes right after, pressing his head on her chest and moaning one long note of ecstasy while Fionn kisses his back and Olivia his lips. Fionn doesn’t want to cum inside Harry, so he pulls himself out and do so in his hand, looking down on the other two immersed in their embrace. He already pleased Harry enough, now he wants Olivia. Fionn crawls back in bed beside her, cupping her other cheek so she can face him. “May I?”
“Absolutely” she leans to kiss him while Harry stands to his elbows.
“Oi... you didn’t ask before you fucked me” he complains with a hint of mockery and Fionn clumsily breaks the kiss to answer.
“Sorry mate, I’ll ask next time” he smirks, pulling her panties down while staring at Harry. He reaches down to kiss her hip, throwing the piece of lace on the ground before placing himself between her thighs. Fionn can feel her cunt still throbbing from her previous orgasm, it won’t take much for her to cum again. He tries to look at her before he kisses her folds, but Harry covers his view as they make out right in front of him, so he carries on giving her one long teasing lick  savoring her sweetness, then flicking his tongue against her pulsing clit. She hums against Harry’s mouth, kissing him harder when Fionn traps the nub on his lips and suck on it, letting go with a plop. The soft pad of his tongue against her sensitive bundle of nerves is driving Oli insane, that and having Fionn trapped between her thighs. She’s about to cum for the second time when he keeps flicking on her, she’s so close, she can feel his warm mouth humming in pleasure as he tastes her, her hips twitch and her muscles tense, wanting to press him harder then physically possible. Harry notices her spurring and looks down at Fionn ravishing his wife. A spike of jealousy hits him as she comes undone beneath him, he wants to make her cry in pleasure like this, coming so hard she’s a bumbling mess after.
“You like that?” he asks while Fionn wipes her cum from his chin.
“Fuck yes” she gasps as he lays closer, making her sandwich between the two. Harry pulls him for a quick kiss, tasting his wife from another man’s lips is strangely sensual to him. But Fionn doesn’t indulge Harry for long, he has other things in mind regarding Olivia.
Fionn runs his touch up her chest until he cups her jaw and kisses her lips teasingly, licking her bottom lip before sliding his tongue on her mouth. He rolls over parting her legs to better accommodate himself not breaking the kiss, then runs a finger between her crease feeling how wet she still is from his mouth. She feels so warm under his touch, so eager, he’s aching hard to fuck her ever since she walked in the red carpet in that sinful velvet dress, now that she’s under him legs wide spread, he’s already on edge. Harry helps Oli to lay her head on his shoulder as he watches the whole thing go down. Fionn reaches the silver pack and slides the rubber carefully before finally burying himself deep inside her throbbing cunt until his base hits her clit, and he has to keep the instinct of immediately bobbing his hips, just a bit of friction will end him. So instead he swirls his hips, taking just a bit of his length out before sliding back in languidly.
“Oh fuck... Fionn...” she whimpers at his tortuous delicious pace.
“You want more?” he thrusts harder causing her to gasp each time their hips collide. Where before she was wet now she’s dripping, so tight he even struggles to pull out, not on his wildest dreams did her pussy feel so fucking good. “You like that, huh? Finally a different cock to make you cum” she moans, feeling him pick up the pace and almost hit her tender spot. The anticipation for him to hit makes her toes curl, nonetheless his size feels incredible rubbing in and out of her, specially when he spreads her legs wider making him reach even deeper. He loses his pace for a moment, holding a knee under his arm and thrusting a little slower, giving her the chance to breath because she knows the moment he picks up that pace she’ll cum. “You feel so good, taking me cock like that, do you want more?” he thrusts harder and her orgasm starts to build, "you want more huh?” somehow he goes even faster, burying his entire length violently and clashing their hips with a dirty sound, but not as dirty as her gasps of pleasure, building up to a point when she clutches him even tighter and screams, her orgasm eminent.
“Right there... oh fuck! Yes! Right- oh!” she cries, the spasms taking her on a high that ends with an exhausted sigh and the unclenching of her cunt right after he also cums inside his rubber. “That was amazing” she struggles to say as he falls over her chest, stealing a kiss from her. The last thing he wants is to remove himself from her warm pussy, but then he notices Harry’s not so amused face.
He can’t imagine how that must feel: having your best friend buried deep inside your wife, someone with whom you have so much experience and a love so intense you choose to spend your life together. He knows Harry is easily jealous, he also knows he’a overly indulgent to his wife, so of course he’d play a sex game just to entertain her – and take bit of enjoyment for himself as he did love being fucked on the ass. But maybe fucking her so hard was too much. Harry would never say so, again, doing his best to indulge his wife, but he wasn’t ok with that. So he pulls out and decides it’s time to go.
He climbs over Oli to kiss her delicious pump lips one last time. “You guys are amazing” he pants, leaning to kiss Harry as well, “I’ll never forget this”
“Neither will we” he replies.
“I better go now, I’ve got a flight to catch in the morning” he excuses, looking for the missing parts of his suit.
“So soon?” she asks sitting up.
“Yeah, I’m sorry guys”
“No problem man, I’ll take you to the door” Harry dresses a house robe and waits for Fionn to properly collect himself. He kisses Oli on the cheek to say goodbye and follows Harry out.
“You know we have a lot of interviews together this week?” Fionn comments to lighten the mood, although Harry doesn’t seem moody, on the contrary, he’s grinning.
“That’ll be interesting” he opens the door and hugs him goodbye.
“Thank you for that... I hope I didn’t overstep or anything-“
“You didn’t, you were great” Harry smiles and kisses the crook of his neck playfully. “Right, off you go now”
“See you around, Harold” he winks walking out the door and leaving the events of the night behind. When he walks inside the uber, he closes his eyes and let them all come crashing in with a boyish smile.
Olivia walks to the kitchen on her house robe, watching Harry close the door and walk up to her. She serves both of them a rosé glass with a tiny smirk creeping on her cheeks. “So... is he as good in the back as he is in the front?” he laughs at her spontaneous commentary, “Welcome to my TedTalk”
“You’re crazy” he hugs her back tightly, “crazy and deranged... and brilliant”
“Why thank you” she hands him a glass of rosé and they clink, no need to verbalize what they’re toasting before drinking the wine.

It has been a long hiatus, though to me it didn’t seem to be one. Time flies. June and July have flied by so fast, and I can’t keep up, shit things happening one after the other, and I’m still coping… But it’s a process. I’m functioning now enough to write and interact on this blog.
As I promised, this first post is a list of June releases (from June 3rd) and the reviews I found about them until now. You’re all welcome to let me know if you have a review that I forgot to add.
Since July is also over, I’m also sharing this month’s books and reviews.
As always, updating is constantly happening, if you know about a book or have a review, just let me know! 😉
Welcome back on Swift Coffee, everyone!
For the newbies (welcome 😘): if you don’t yet know what this is all about: I’m posting a list every Monday of the books that get released during the current week. I also include other people’s reviews about them! I try to do a blog hop from time to time and spread the word about this feature, but I obviously can’t find every review that’s related, so a sign that you have one would be very much appreciated! Every review is eligible that is written about a book published on the week in question, even if it was written before said week!
So… one question remains:
Would you like to join the ride?
It’s very easy!
These are the rules:
To be featured, you don’t have to do anything else, but to leave a comment below this post, or contact me by any other way, and let me know you have a review. A link to it makes it easier, but if you only say your review comes out on x day of the week, that’s okay as well, I’ll watch out for it! Following me is not a must, but I appreciate it very much, if you do! 🙂
I continuously update this post according to your infos/comments, and I share it again every time I’ve made an update.
The book you reviewed don’t have to be from the list here, if it’s not listed, but published this week, I’ll add the book, too!
You can also send me a review for next week, because these posts are scheduled! 😉

BTS x Mediheal Rundown: Where and What to Get
BTS x Mediheal is landing in a few days (12/19)- here's a quick rundown of what's what, where to get it, and shipping options!
Each set will have 10 masks and 14 photo cards and cost KRW 25,000 (about $23 dollars). For reference, a 10-pack of Mediheal masks on Amazon go for about $10-$14 dollars so the photo cards are adding about an extra $10.
In general, Mediheal masks have a really great reputation! The essence used in their masks is thicker and more abundant than most masks. They are typically on the more pricier end of the spectrum, but the effects tend to last longer- even showing results the next morning. A lot of armys have commented that they buy Mediheal masks anyway so it's a win-win 😃
Tumblr media

Hidden History of the Stormlands: Lost Lore
 Letter #1: Durran the Devout's return of the Rainwood did not lack for consequences however given that it led to a long, bloody rebellion by Houses Wylde and Mertyns, both of which had been granted choice lands there by his father, the Godsgrief, himself. In the face of this threat the pious but ineffective king was forced to seek the aid of the Children themselves, an act which made the already deeply unpopular king even more hated and nearly cost him his life as well as his throne when the rebellion culminated in a great battle just outside the walls of Storm's End called by the singers the First Storm given that the battle allegedly turned in the king's favor when a great storm sent by the Old Gods broke out.
 Letter #2: Small wonder then that upon the reconquest of the Rainwood a century later by Durran Bronze-Axe few mourned when he put to the sword (or in this case axe) so many captured Children, that Greenpool, where the last battle had been fought, forever became known thereafter as Redpool for all the blood spilled that day though neither House Mertyns nor House Wylde were granted the lost lands they coveted. (As an aside Redpool's former name should not be confused with Greenpools in the Reach.)
 Letter #3: Durran the Dour (either as Durran V or VI) slew Lun the Last, King of the Giants, in the great Battle of Crookwater, putting an end to nearly a generation of war between the two races for control of the Red Mountains and its foothills, from which the Giants were forced to flee, leaving behind so many bones that the main pass was said to still be bleached white decades later. Thus, did the Boneway earn its name. As for Durran the Dour himself if the singers are to be believed he did not long enjoy his victory, dying of his wounds shortly afterwards with a familiar scowl on his face, half his body broken and maimed.
 Letter #4: Durran the Ravenfriend, who was said to spy on his subjects through the eyes of two ravens, one black, one white, oversaw the founding of Stonedance  but his motives in this matter as well as those of his good-father, Lord Maldon Massey, himself, including the question of whether the latter was convinced or coerced to take up ownership of what would then become known as Massey's Hook, remain in dispute to this day.
 Letter #5: Durran the Young at the age of fourteen turned back a Dornish invasion led by King Yoren Yronwood and the warrior maid Wylla of Wyl in the Battle by the Bloody Pool, killing so many that the river Slayne was dammed with the corpses of the Dornishmen, a feat which earned him the sobriquet "Butcher Boy" as well as the fealty of House Swann...But was he also the very same King Durran who later in life became besotted with his own niece and died at the hands of his brother, Erich Kin-Killer, at a drunken feast inside Storm's End? This question, and many more (such as whether Morden I, Qarlton I, or Maldon I was the first Storm King to face the Gardeners in battle at Nightsong) will likely never be answered with any definitive proof sadly.
 Letter #6: More certainty exists for later monarchs though. We can say with little hesitation that the great island kingdom of Tarth fell under the sway of the Durrandons when the daughter of Edwyn Evenstar, Jocelyn Tarth, was taken to wife by Durran the Fair, so known not for his appearance, which, according to the singers, made death (later identified with the Stranger) itself flee in terror when he was born during a plague that claimed the rest of the royal family, but rather to his love of law and peace. Alas, that good king later perished in a grotesque mishap whilst attending a ball in his honor on Tarth, which, depending on whether he was Durran VIII or Durran IX, might have been murder though no source gives us a culprit or a clear motive as to why.
 Letter #7: Certainly, his son and successor, Erich I or II Durrandon, saw it that way however, given the fact he is said to have sacked Tarth in response despite the protests of his mother, the dowager queen, who he had confined to a tower cell for the remainder of her days after she attempted to depose him in favor of his younger sister, Mary of the Sad Smile, when he conscripted under penalty of death half the remaining people of Tarth for the construction of what is now called the Weeping Town after Garse II declared the Stormlands to be "a kingdom without cities and culture" at a ball the Red Stag unexpectedly attended. (Once the only city in the Stormlands the Weeping Town lost its charter following its implication in the Andali Pauper's Plot against Ormund II and though Maldon III would later grant it a new one the Weeping Town has never regained its former status.)
 Letter #8: His son, also named Erich (most likely thus Erich III), would in turn follow his father's example, building up a great fleet with which to claim Estermont as well as the lesser isles further south, thus earning the title "Sailmaker", though it is one he would come to rue in his old age for the rest of his reign was thereafter one of constant war as he was forced to sail from one battle to another against both rebels as well as pirates out of the Stepstones and Dorne.
 Letter #9: The height of the Durrandons' power prior to the coming of the Andals then followed with the reigns of Durran X, who extended his writ to the southern shores of the Blackwater Rush after turning back an invasion from the Reach by King Perceon I Gardener at the Battle of Nightsong after convincing Lord Roland Caron to change his allegiance in exchange for recognition of his claim to be Lord of the Marches, and his son, Monfryd I, known as "the Mighty" after marching north of the Blackwater to conquer the prosperous port towns of Duskendale and Maidenpool, the latter of which's fall brought the Storm King into conflict with the Fisher King of the Trident and culminated in the supposedly magical Battle of the Misty Isle, sometimes called the Battle in the Gods Eye, where Monfryd I himself slew both Jon IV Fisher as well as his boon companion, Harry Bracken and his twin, Benedict Bracken.
 Letter #10: With the strange death of Monfryd I a decade later whilst hunting in the Rainwood (which some took as proof that he had indeed been cursed by his last foe as he lay dying at the Storm King's feet) however a terrible decline began for Monfryd I's only son and child, another Durran (XI), was lackwit (if his being called "the Dim" is to be believed) and thus all his father's gains were undone during his reign as the Storm King's regents quarreled for control of his royal person.
 Letter #11: Worse, his son in turn would lose even more lands his grandfather had fought for though in the case of Barron the Beautiful it was not for a lack of trying. A genial and handsome young man by all accounts Barron had since childhood been betrothed by the formidable dowager queen, Joy Whitehead, to a daughter of Lord Royce Connington. As a result his abduction (and later seduction) by the wild Dornish princess, Arianne Fowler, who is said to have become smitten with him at first glance whilst on a raid that left a quarter of the Rainwood in flames, lead to a complete collapse of all order within the Stormlands, with King Garse III Gardener overrunning the Marches, all of which culminated in the long, sad reign of Durwald I (the Fat), who presided over the nadir of Durrandon power and would witness before his death from a burst belly the Masseys break away, Tarth thrice revolt, and the Rainwood rise in rebellion for the better part of a generation under the command of a charismatic woods witch known to us only as the Green Queen.
 Letter #12: For this reason, thousands of years later, many and more of the smallfolk of the Stormlands, even the meanest and humblest amongst them, still boast of royal blood, a fact which troubled the Storm Kings of old more than once in the form of rebellions whenever they sought to raise taxes or invent new ones, as Durwald II, Morden III, Durran XIV, and Maldon II, together known as the Trade Kings, learned to their great frustration in the years following the reign of Ronard the Bastard, the first of three such men to sit the throne, though of those only Ronard was legitimated in his lifetime (by his predecessor, Morden II).
 Letter #13: What then occurred has been termed by the Maesters the Time of Erich for the next four Storm Kings all bore that name though none of these men were similar to one another in any regard. Thus, we have Erich IV, a half-mad warrior with one eye who was said to fight outlaws with a magic weirwood spear and (allegedly) no armor. Erich V, who ruled for a century and struggled (in vain) all that time to bring his fractious people together. Erich VI, a bawdy eccentric who supposedly sired an army of tax collectors out of his breeches on no less than two dozen wives and finally, Erich (VII) the Unready, who paid no heed to the landing of the Andals in the Vale, caught up as he was in his wars with the Dornish king Olyvar Yronwood as well as the infamous pirate king Justin (Milk-Eye) Massey, whose father, Adrian, had made a fortune ruining trade between the Weeping Town, Lys, and Tyrosh.
 Letter #14: Though the Storm Kings won half a dozen major battles--the greatest of these being the Battle of Bronzegate (called by some Maesters the First Battle of Bronzegate on account of the Last Storm) in which Monfryd V Durrandon defeated the Holy Brotherhood of the Andals, an alliance of seven petty kings and war lords, at the cost of his own life--the longships kept coming.
 Letter #15: An even more unlikely alliance, between King Cleoden I and three Dornish kings, following a lengthy series of betrothals, minor border adjustments, and a rejected missive to Highgarden, won an even more telling victory over Drox the Corpse-Maker on the river Slayne near Stonehelm a generation later.
 Letter #16: During the reign of Durran XXII House Dondarrion was founded following a great victory in the aftermath of an attempted renewal of the Dornish Alliance as well as the Weirwood Alliance, both of which met with failure as by this point the Andals had also begun to make landfall in the south and the Children were so few in number that they could not risk open battle once again. His son and heir, Durran XXIII, meanwhile, would die during one of the Seven Sieges (and Stormings) of Storm's End, though which one is still an issue of much debate given the chaos of those times.
 Letter #17: History tell us however that ultimately it would not be the meaningless victories and alliances of House Durrandon that would prevent the fall of the Stormlands to the Andals but rather the tenacity of its proud smallfolk, who took it upon themselves to drive off the invaders when it became clear that the Father-King (as they called Durran's Heir) could not though the price they paid in blood and gold was so high that some Maesters today wonder whether it would have been better had they simply yielded to the fair-haired invaders instead, a question the Dornish would later ask too when Aegon the Conqueror and his descendants made war upon them from atop the back of dragons.
 Letter #18: In the end the two war-weary sides simply came together, albeit in a rather fitful and violent manner. Indeed, given the differences in tongue and faith as well as the fact that the Andals outnumbered the First Men six to four (not to mention the legendary stubbornness of the Stormlanders themselves) it is hardly surprising that many on both sides at the time saw these unions as treason more often than not though over the course of generations they would prove their worth by producing such renowned houses as Cafferen, Staedmon, Morrigen, and Toyne to name but a small few.
 Letter #19: Durwald III and Morden IV continued the (unpopular) policies of their father, Durran XXIV (Half-Blood), encouraging intermarriage with the Andals, sponsoring the construction of septs, and taking Andals into their service, leading later to Cleoden II, the son of Ormund III, to sever the Stormlands' last ties to First Men culture during his reign by adopting the Common Tongue as the language of his court and kingdom and in so doing rekindled conflict, with the Wars of Faith, as these are known in the Stormlands, lasting for centuries, leaving the kingdom dangerously weakened when Gyles III Gardener sought to conquer it from Durran XXV, who, being quite old already, did not long outlive his foe, and so the throne passed to his great-grandson, Morden V, whose ascension would mark the beginning of a slow, painful recovery of the Stormlands following which the Durrandons became the most active of the Seven Kingdoms in seeking to expand its borders albeit without ever making many alliances to that end for the memory of Garth Goldenhand’s victory over Durran (XII) the Defeated and Jaime (I) “Hotspur” Lannister lived long in the minds of men.
 Letter #20: In the era that followed prior to the reign of Arlan I, Durran the Third (in truth Durran XXVIII), seized power during the civil war known as the Year of the Three Durrans and died trying twice to invade Dorne upon its unification under Nymeria, wars which went so badly that thereafter for centuries the Durrandons kept their eyes only on their own lands (with the exception of Monfryd VII and his son, Qarlton IV's intervention in Martell attempts to seize control of the Stepstones in alliance with Tyrosh) until the reign of Cleoden III, great-grandfather of Arlan I (the Avenger), who ended this practice and died in a chaotic melee against a combined Reach-Dorne army led by the brave Lord Perwyn Peake on the Stormway (built by Baldric II to connect Storm's End to the Weeping Town as well as Stonehelm) shortly after he established the Order of the Stag in response to the Gardener's Order of the Green Hand, half of whom would later perish fighting the imperialist "tigers" of Volantis under Argilac the Arrogant and the other half alongside that selfsame monarch at the battle known to history as the Last Storm.
 Letter #21: His son and heir, Erich VIII, in the aftermath of this, surprised all by convincing Highgarden to forsake its alliance with Sunspear and espouse him instead but even the combined might of the Stormlands and the Reach could not break the will of the Dornish though so much blood was shed on the southern sands that they became forever known as the Red Dunes, which had the unforeseen consequence of driving the then-Prince of Dorne, Mors V, so mad with grief that he threw himself from the top of the Spear Tower to his death, leaving behind such a mess that it took his son, Morgan II, three generations to restore Dorne to its pre-war prosperity.
 Letter #22: As a result of this failure, which each side blamed the other for, the Stormlands and the Reach both set aside their quarrel with Dorne so as to go to war with one another instead in a conflict that would last a generation and a half before ending at Cider Hall with the Battle of Three Kings, where King Garse VI Gardener slew Ormund IV Durrandon with the Valyrian steel sword, Thorn, only to be slain in turn by the Storm King's son, Ormund V, who then died at the hands of the Red Fox, Ser Andrew Florent, Lord Commander of the Order of the Green Hand, who was known in his lifetime as much for his skill with sword and lance as for his unusually big ears (even by the standards of his house).
 Letter #23: Arlan II, following in his father's footsteps, attempted an invasion of the Reach after spending a season pacifying the Red Mountains and another moon the Sea of Dorne, putting Highgarden itself under siege for a year's time before dying suddenly of an arrow through the throat while inspecting a siege engine. A subsequent attempt by House Gardener to take advantage of the confusion and dismay this caused met a bloody end however at the Battle of Ashford, where the newly-crowned Cleoden IV threw them back with heavy losses and saved his grandfather's victories, after which he received an annual tribute of ten thousand gold pieces for the rest of his reign as well as the hand of a Gardener princess in exchange for peace. (Perhaps here would be the best place to mention that the identity of the one who shot the arrow that killed Arlan II remains unknown. Some sources attribute it to a nameless lowborn archer, others to Lord Edwyn Fossoway or Lady Bethany Caswell, who, in her time, was said to be feared from Stoney Sept to the Twins as the Black Centaur.)
 Letter #24: With the death of Arlan III as well as the loss of his Valyrian steel sword, Stormbreaker, however, an inevitable decline began, the worst part of which started a century and a half later with the death of Arlan IV in a sea battle outside the walls of Gulltown after his predecessor, Erich IX, had failed to conquer the Bloody Gate and subsequently all three of his sons (Erich X, Baldric III, Maldon V)  dying within seven years of each other. This was in turn followed two generations later by the deaths of Kings Durran XXX in a battle with the Reach and Durran XXXI in a battle with Dorne on the same day, known in the Stormlands as the Day of Disaster. In such a manner did the Kingdom of the Storm diminish, year by year, battle by battle, king by king, with no end or hope in sight for the once-proud Lords of Durran's Defiance until a fierce warrior prince, Argliac, donned the Stag's Crown but even a man as mighty as he could not turn the tide, only hold it back. This, Argilac, last of the Durrandon, last of the Storm Kings, did for a time...

Note
May, what products are you currently using for facial care? I'm really looking to expand my arsenal of skincare products! Right now, I'm using an activated charcoal mask, an alcohol-free toner, and a clarisonic face cleansing device.
Waddup sunshine, I’ll put this under the cut because the list is loooooong
(Disclaimer, what works for me may not necessarily work for you)
Alright, I’ve got an AM/PM care. Usually in the morning my routine is a lot quicker since I tend to always run late everywhere.
I’ll make a list of all the products that I use interchangeably and I’ll write a lil bit about them, hopefully this helps
Cleansers
I go for cleansers that are slightly acidic and thus are similar to the natural’s skin’s PH which is around 5-5.5 or so. By doing so, I don’t “strip” the skin of it’s natural skin barrier.
KOSE Softy Mo Facial Cleansing Oil Speedy(x) - I use this in the evening. It’s an oil that I slap on my face and let it sit, before I massage it in and wash away. It leaves my skin really soft, doesn’t tug and takes away the most stubborn waterproof mascara. A little goes a long way. (PM)
Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash by the Body Shop(x) - This I use when I have breakouts on my skin (which lately has decreased dramatically, so I don’t use it often). I will work some between my hands and make it into a foam, which I’ll gently glide over my skin (NO RUBBING OR TUGGING!) (AM/PM)
Micellar Cleansing Waterby SkinLab (x) - I use this in the morning, right when I wake up. Dab some on a cotton pad, pass it on the face to take away any sweat, grime or residue from the night before (AM)
Actives
Some of the most common actives are chemical exfoliants such as BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) and AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which help remove dead skin to stimulate skin renewal. Common AHAs include glycolic acid, lactic acid and mandelic acid. BHAs, on the other hand, are anti-inflammatory and used in the prevention and treatment of acne, and thus can sometimes cause dryness and irritation for those with sensitive or dehydrated skin.
It may sound scary, but most “chemical exoliants” are found in things such as yogurt (lactic acid). But because they exfoliate the skin, they will make it more sensitive to sun. SO USE A DAMN SUNSCREEN OR I’LL BEAT YOUR ASS.
Anyways here’s the ones I use
Vitamic C serum - you can find these practically anywhere. Helps with scarring, esp with acne scars. I use a couple drops every evening (PM)
Cosrx Bha Blackhead Power Liquid (x) - I have pores the size of Russia. This has been helping them from making them massive tiny black dots. I use this only twice a week, otherwise my skin will dry out like cray cray (PM)
Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid (x) - FAM, YOU USE THIS ON A WITEHEAD, AND IT FLATTENS OVERNIGHT I KID YOU NOT. I use this as a spot treatment anytime I need help with bringing down an inflamed pimple (those angry, red, nasty ones) and twice a week on my whole face to keep everything under control (PM)
Toners
CLINIQUE Clarifying Lotion 1(x) - It helps with the appearance of pores. It also has witch hazel with helps whenever you have a dry irritated face. (AM/PM)
Cosrx Aha/bha Clarifying Treatment Toner(x) - I use this before I slap on any BHA/AHA active. (PM)
Moisturize
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream (x) - I love love LOVE this. A little goes a long way to moisturize your skin. It’s jelly like, but it literally glides on your skin, so I use a penny sized amount for the whole face. (AM/PM)
Rosehip oil - can find this at any drug store. Make sure that it is organic and cold pressed. I pat that in on my eyelids and around the eyes as well (does wonders for your eyelashes!) (AM/PM)
Overnight cream
Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask(x) - I’ve been using this for the past few days AND IT’S AWESOME. It’s literally all honey and smells delicious. It leaves your skin so soft, it’s crazy. I just wipe any residue left with micellar water in the morning. I love it. And you need so little of it! (PM)
Goat’s Milk Night Cream - Face Cream(x) - I got this for like 4 dollars at some shady polish shop and OH MY GOD, IT HAS SAVED MY POOR SKIN. I NO LONGER HAVE FLAKES BECAUSE OF IT. I am literally going to buy 5 more if I ever go back to that store, I love it THAT much. My skin is severely dehydrated, and this has been a godsend. (AM/PM/In between/With breakfast/Honestly all the time)
Mix and match
For my eyes, I have the same Mizon Snail product in a thicker cream. It helps immensely, especially since I work in a really dehydrated environment and I rub at my eyes due to wearing glasses.
Pimples - wanna make a massive pimple dissapear overnight? Or at least flatten it so you can use concealer? Hydro-colloid patches aka blister bandaids. They are usually medicated with antibiotics that will help with not making them infected. Slap one on (I cut them to fit) on the pimple, remove in the morning. You’ll see the white shit attached to it. It’s disgusting (yet oddly satisfying?)
Sheet masks - all of them haha!
Sunscreen
Avene High Protection Mineral Cream SPF50+- It’s odd, I’m allergic to mineral oils but this and the Speedy cleanser do not seem to affect me. Phenomenal sunscreen, I use it as a primer. The only downside is that it leaves a white cast (which is fine for me because I am pale as fuck but some people may find that not so pleasant)
So these are the products that I use. My skin is dehydrated/combo. You can’t expect one item to address just one issue, that’s why I have so many. My main concern was dehydration of the skin, so a lot of moisturizing products. Once I fixed that, the inflammation of my skin started to subside. I still had pimples and acne issues, particularly cystic acne, so I used products to address that and has been helping immensely.
My suggestion to you? Research, research, research. Find products that may help you and your concerns. In the past three months, my skin has improved to the point that I am confident enough to go out without make up on some days.
I’m still looking for a lotion with a good amount of hyaluronic acid. I’m seeing a lot of hype over Hada Labo, so that may be my next purchase.
Also I need to find something for my cracked, bleeding lips. No success so far.
Anyways, sorry for the long post! I hope this helps :) I linked places where you can buy them or at least read more about the product mentioned.
Any questions? Just ask.
