“Oh, I’m not leaving your side until you're healed.” Loke spoke so casually, that as she was drifting off, she simply hummed in agreement. By the time she realized what he had really said, it was too late, sleep taking a firm hold on her mind.

Surely she misheard him… right?

When Lucy gets hurt on a job and winds up with a broken leg, Loke decides that Team Natsu isn't up to the task of taking good care of her. Instead, he decides to stay in her apartment to help, despite Lucy's insistence that she'll be fine. Things start to change between them, but will Lucy let it? Or will she refuse to admit that maybe, just maybe, she likes him in that way?

And so he does-- with a lone bow of the head. Legs were crossed over one another, the clown having seated himself within plush chair before a lowered table (it looked a bit like a coffee table only with a bit more of length to its surface.) with two mugs set. He was careful in filling them up to just the brim, leaving enough space for lips to touch rim without facing the potential of being burned.

It took only a few hours for Yori to acquire this location. He preferred it for its levels of privacy and how, in the end of everything, it belonged to no one organization. It could’ve belonged to the clowns once upon a time (it was much like a warehouse, after all.) or it could’ve been under the Dove’s protection (it could serve as a base of operations, after all.) so many years ago.

“It must’ve come off as very... rude of me, so I apologize once more.”

“It must have left such a horrid first impression, and I never wished for that to happen.”

Leaning forward, he reached to hook fingers within mug’s handle and lightly hold it within both hands over lap. Yori’s already become accustomed to how he’s sitting, managing to find a way to lounge formally with shoulders at their most lax and expression of a modest nature.

“I will try to make this short, dear... hm! Which would you rather? Sir Arima-- or Sir Kishou?”

Truthfully, he had no preference. It was all up to the other man.

“I promise to uphold proper etiquette and be on my best behavior nonetheless.”

     Yooo!! Thank you so much!! It’s super sweet of you to follow my AUs, and to send me an ask about it! I really appreciate support like this! It means a lot to me! ;o; !! I actually rarely write headcanons ( I usually let Nnoitra talk about stuff instead ), so this is a great opportunity for me to for once actually share some headcanons for my AUs! Now I just have to choose between my AUs…

AU.21 ;; fear no evil ( hogwarts!au ) .

Nnoitra’s wand is made of firwood, with unicorn hair core. It’s 14″ in length, and has supple flexibility. The wand chooses the wizard - not the other way around. Otherwise Nnoitra never would’ve chosen this for himself. He doesn’t like horses in any shape or form, and he isn’t very happy about the core of his wand being made of unicorn hair. If asked, he will say that the core is phoenix feathers. — I used the pottermore website to try and get all of Nnoitra’s details as ‘ accurate ‘ as possible. That’s why he ended up in Gryffindor, which really surprised me, but it also gave me the entire plot for his backstory.

While he will never be able to summon a patronous - it would take the shape of a deerhound.

Nnoitra’s best subject is Astrology. It’s the only thing that comes easy to him. Another thing that he’s good at, is flying. He really wants to be accepted on the Gryffindor Quiddich team.

One of the few subjects that Nnoitra sort of ‘ enjoys ‘ at school is Herbyology. Even if he’s not very good at it, he’s always enjoyed nature and being outside, so this is a big plus for him.

Several of Nnoitra’s family members were/are Deatheaters, so he is used to seeing The Mark. He always thought that he would end up with it too, but he feels like being placed in Gryffindor might be his big chance to break away from his family, who he never cared for, since they never gave him any love or attention. 

AU.07 ;; human error ( shapeshifter!au ) . 

Nnoitra was one of many children who were ‘ rescued ‘ after a hurricane destroyed their homes. The children were brought into what was supposed to be an ‘ orphanage ‘, but in reality, this was a laboratory in need of human test-subjects. The whole experience was so traumatic for Nnoitra ( who was just five years at the time ), that he doesn’t remember anything about his life before he came to the lab. Shortly after arriving there, he was given the drug that would allow him to turn into an animal - and he ended up turning into a mantis… But, unlike the other children, he was not able to turn back into a human.

In the beginning, Nnoitra wasn’t completely ignored. He was a failed experiment, but he was also unique, so the scientists studied him to try to figure out what had ‘ gone wrong ‘. The scientists were never ‘ mean ‘ to the children, and apart from experimenting on them, they always treated them like humans. But, after a while, it was like they forgot that Nnoitra was human too. In the end he was more or less forgotten, and had to live in the tank he’d been placed, with very little food. Because he was ‘ just an insect ‘, and not an animal or a human, so nobody thought his life mattered as much as anyone else’s.

AU.04 ;; kingdom come ( fantasy!au ) .

Even if Nnoitra is a ‘ King ‘ ( he doesn’t rule over any land, so technically, he’s not a ‘ real ‘ king ), he never travels by horse. He can’t ride, and he won’t ride. He absolutely hates horses. Because of this, when he goes into battle with his army, it’s not always easy to tell him apart from the rest, and he actually likes that. He doesn’t think the leader should just stay back and let the others fight. He wants to be at the front line.

AU.22 ;; hunting party ( poacher!au ) .

Nnoitra has always loved nature. The thing that made him decide to have a career where it would be all about being out in the wild, was an event that happened while he was a kid. He had to witness some domestic violence, and he ended up running out of the house and into the forest. To his surprise - he felt much safer there than he had while he was home. He wasn’t scared of the dark or scared of whatever animals lived there. That’s when he found out that nature was so much better than people - even the people who were supposed to keep him safe and be his closest ones.

It was not a stern warning, rather, a soft advice that slipped past the heir’s mouth. Movement was swift, sharp, precise; training in order to use the soul weapon she would inherit was never a walk in the garden. Nonetheless, glancing towards the younger noble, she wondered if there were ever an age limit on training. She started young as well, the shoes she was destined to fill large and powerful. Still, the Lord’s daughter did not want to accidentally drag one of the younger generations into a training session where he would get injured.

❝ That is, unless you wish to observe. While I do not underestimate your ability, there is no need for you to pick up a weapon at your age just yet.  ❞

 Mayhap he should take Arima down and show him Hirako’s improved results later. Soothe those worries he knew plagued the [ newly discovered ] noble. ❝ At least think it over a while? ❞

Oh, it’s him.

“Oh, uh… hey.” He never knew what this guy’s deal was, and he was very confident that he’d never find out. Fingers lightly drum against own thigh, Katsuro blinking at him before averting his gaze to seem more disinterested than what he already was. “What’s up?”

Cigarette bounces lightly from between lips, angling upward before lowering itself– a lot like a lever.

“D’ya need something? Or is it somethin’ I did?”

 Quietly absorbed within flowing words written upon pages, clock ticks by whilst brief that would present his latest mission is awaited. However, instead of the calm demeanour oftentimes held, there was a twitch of irritation to be seen. Apparently, they desired to have him fight alongside another individual. An individual whom remained entirely unknown to him. It’s enough to earn a scoff. Ludicrous. Did they sincerely believe it necessary? He was more than capable of handling adversary forces on his lonesome. 

 And as though on cue, someone then advances, slinking forth from the umbrae. Wanting his attention, surely. Exhalation passes lips, book snapping shut. A shame. He’d far rather continue reading than have to interact with others, if only for a fleeting moment. 

 Unfortunate how mingling was a requirement within his line of work { Why should he chatter with people he had no investment in? }. Therefore head tilts upwards, gaze locking with the stranger - A First Class like himself, he notes - before placing the epic down beside him.  ❝ To what do I owe the pleasure? ❞
