A while ago I made a post about a white trans woman making shit up about Black history, audre lorde and Black female history and because it didn't match the 'Black feminist have always conceptualised Black womanhood like gender identity and been welcoming of trans women' idea that's very popular right now, a white trans woman on here ordered their following to block me. It's not like you couldn't look up the historical claims I was making, but I guess disinformation is fine if it makes you feel good all while laughing at conservatives for believing facebook memes for doing the same thing.
One day, people will have to stop ignoring the level of racism and entitlement that online white trans women have towards Black women. They love to hide behind the right wing currently being deranged about trans women and trans people to pretend, no just actually solidarity. It's not like shit stopped happening to everybody else because the right has a new favourite target.
I've been blocked by both rad fems and tumblr queers because of my stance on not lying about Black history. Both think they're not insane about Black women. The meltdown about the sayhername hashtag was something.

white gay and trans people are so unserious you can really tell they only have pride in being gay or trans bc they think it gives them a valid reason to consider themselves the Most Pitiful and Most Oppressed in the sense they now have a justification for why they care only about their own comfort and convenience and why the pursuit of that comfort warrants death and damnation of Others. white gay pride is pride in what they believe is a justification for empire and white supremacy and its why their views on queerness are whitewashed heavily, specifically erasing racialization and its impact on sex, love, and gender even as race and gender are opposite sides of the same exact coin, nearly identical social castes created and upheld by nearly identical players. yet the white queer vehemently and with purpose refuses solidarity with the racialized, in fact arguing that their being queer is the reason they must become so selfish. its really the common white supremacist talking point, the age old excuse slave drivers used to justify their cruelty. "it benefits Me to subjugate You so your oppression is not that bad" - Never ever ever an acknowledgement of their position of privilege and status, to benefit directly from state sanctioned violence. No, its only ever used to excuse their own violence with a sense of urgency that they need to protect their access to their white status now because the greatest evil to them are the systems that threaten that privilege. To the average white queer their identities are a gift, the ability to now legitimize the existence of some white genocide whose prevention justifies any act of cruelty and any form of empire. to ever say or imply or acknowledge that queerness does not belong to whites is the most evil form of this white genocide to them.

I fucking hate how white queers and their token enablers talk about Black women and gender. White slave masters didn't think Black women were women the way you don't call female pigs women. It wasn't about gender but saying Black people literally lacked humanity, so they are perfect slaves.
I think the fact that a Black woman is a masculine presenting lesbian is very important to the story. You're not doing solidarity by misrepresenting experiences. Idk why everyone is suddenly acting like because they read so many " all oppression is interconnected " statements about Black women and trans women, it means interchangeable and it's not racist to omit the full story when talking about a Black woman. Stripping the complexity of a Black womans experiences isn't helpful to Black women. There's lots of experiences unique to trans women that aren't translatable to cis black women.
The type of Black women who are misgendered have similar things in common with other women who get misgenderd; they're either tall or gender non-conforming. You'll notice average height Black women in the media plain do not get people trying to ask questions about her gender. It's a tall, not skinny and not light skin issue. Black models, even when they're dark skin, don't go through it because they're skinny. Turns out we don't have interchangeable issues.
Idk why people are pretending cis Black women can wholesale relate to the trans experience because some Internet figures told you she does by stretching what is meant by slave masters didn't see us a women but glossing over the fact is was because slave masters were saying we were beasts of burden like donkeys and they were the only humans.
People used to say gross shit about Jamie Lee Curtis genitalia because her name is Jamie. Some questions about gender aren't based on confusion but saying something seen a disparaging, especially if it's a beautiful woman who wouldn't spit on them. Remember when these men were calling Margot Robbie mid ?
Even when people talk about Megan Thee Stallion, they will literally say " stallion is the name of a male horse" because it's not based on some inherent gender non-conformity of Blackness where this is a common question for all Black women. Megan is also tall, not skinny, and not light skin. The 3 things people like to mock and her stage name doesn't help. They aren't confused they're asking the question because they see it as a way to humiliate her because of the way trans women are seen. This is the same Megan that got shot and some people didn't believe her because they wanted to support male violence.
Some of you think that blackness making you a bigger target means Blackness is the reason you're being targeted, all while ignoring there's a pattern to the Black people who are targeted in certain ways. I dont relate to a lot of things that have become the online defing stories of Black womanhood because those stories are about virality and not commonality.
Anyway, when Black women say, " we're not treated like women," we're talking about people being verbally and physically abusive, but sure, let's sideline that. It's not like there's a Black femicide issue in the US and high Black maternal deaths in the West because people think Black people feel less pain and don't believe women.
People have got to become less addicted to virality because it's dumbing down the complexity of how oppression exists.

God I love Chappell Roan so much. I don’t think people understand just how much she means to Midwesterners. Seeing people upset she’s performing in red states is insane when queer people exist in red states. Like the communities that are spread about here are some of the most loving, passionate, and kind I’ve ever been apart of.
I’ve gotten to speak to elders!! Elders!! Just casually!! I’ve gotten to speak to indigenous elders!! I’ve met queer people who are social workers, lawyers, farmers, firefighters, band members, activists, parents, teachers, business owners, and artists just casually. I’ve seen the bravery it takes from all of us to just collectively exist here. I admire my friends who are fighting to get name changes and HRT.
Our communities know we are all we have in these states so we fight. I live in a small city and it’s amazing the work that our local activists do. We have a local Christian church group that gives away free clothing to anyone. They also host a hobbies swap where people come together and just barter and trade items. We have a local business that does community gender affirming clothing trading. Our one singular Planned Parenthood supports basically the entirety of our community here. They started an independent sex ed program because of our school districts policies. Our local libraries fight tooth and nail to keep their spaces queer accepting. Our school district despite its issues has gone to bat for teachers protecting queer students because despite the board being entirely red they felt it was a violation of privacy and freedom of speech rights to out kids and teachers. Last year our pride event that supports basically every small town in a 100 mile radius across two states had threats made against it. The organizers got in touch with an activist group in a nearby area and moved the event to that town. It was the largest turnout they’d ever gotten.
Like it is so hard being queer out here. I’m in an open minded city compared to the rest of my state despite people publicly and proudly showing themselves as white supremacists and bigots in my own neighborhood. My city is still red but our communities here refuse to be erased and I think that’s wonderful. Our allies are so passionate. We have a Lutheran, Baptist, Christian, Catholic, and Methodist church that all proudly show themselves as queer accepting. The businesses willing to hire openly queer people and treat them well here defend them because they know if they don’t, no one else will. We take care of each other and I think that’s amazing.
Anyways, queer people exist outside of California. Have some class because a lot of y’all don’t like us because of your own personal biases against poor people, the working class, PoC and etc. It’s weird for you not to care about queer people in blue states, especially those of you saying we deserve the treatment we get by living here. White queers need to especially get a grip. Chappell Roan is an icon and please be normal about her touring in red states.

Don't know why it's so difficult for pple on this site to accept that John Waters is a trailblazer for his campy films starring drag queens, his support for trans people and his impact on the queer and trans community, while having bad takes like his support for Johnny Depp and defending the right for far-right assholes to speak at college campuses 🙄🙄

So a white, keyword white, lesbian couple decided that Trump was the way to go( and playing your ballot online is illegal in some states, just an FYI). This is why when nonwhite LGBTQ+ would sooner deal with racist white people than white LGBTQ+, this is a shining example as to why. Because why, would you vote for a party that hates your very existence?
This is also why we say you will be seen as white before what ever your marginalized identity is. You being gay doesn’t magically erase your whiteness.

Like white queers will highlight 'it was a black woman' and when that black woman is interviewed she'll talk about everything but that
In this zeal to be inclusive, white people are flattening the Black female experience because why did you think her being a masculine lesbian was irrelevant? When it's obvious, that's what made her a massive target. Believe it or not, it's not a common Black female experiences to relate to gender non-conformity. What we do point out is not being subject to the idea of female weakness so we're targets of physical abuse and dismissing pain. We have medical data to show trained doctors do not talk about female pain seriously and has resulted to horrible maternal deaths for black women in the US and UK and I wouldn't be surprised if that extended to the rear of Europe but I've not checked
Every since it's become popular to talk about the issues of Black womanhood like a gender identity, non-conformity issue that's identitical to trans women, the focus on maternal deaths, domestic violence, verbal and physical abuse of Black women has completely disappeared. This isn't about solidarity at all but having a narrative that gets you praise from white queers and centring the self esteem issues of white trans women because they're always the first to not centre chattel slavery and the issues impacting Black women so they can centre how they feel about their own gender.
People bring up Black women to talk about other people while pretending it's about us, and for some Black women its so nice to be paid attention to they ignore that your suffering isn't even about you. If you can't talk about Black women beyond board statements, you literally do not know shit about us

Something about how fucking useless and braindead white liberal queers are. You can literally see people talking about how some character from that shitty fnaf movie has "transmasc swag".
Bestie, you are literally willingly giving money to Scott Cawthon, someone who is known to donate large amounts of money to christofascist politicians. How stupid do you have to be to willingly fund legislation that will eventually strip you of your own rights. "Transmasc swag" my ass, the creator of your stupid franchise would send you to conversion therapy without even batting an eye and you're still willingly giving money to him.
No wonder no one has been able to get them to like, attend an anti-war protest in support of Gaza or something, when they're politically illiterate enough to willingly fund their own oppression.

*sigh* Is there ever a way to be queer without being in the LGBT+ community? I don't want to co-exist with them ..
