What do you think Roy drinks?

He generally seems to just drink reg beer, but we also see him drinking rosé and whiskey in season 2, and I like the idea of him being a secret booze snob. Like he actually has very refined and sophisticated taste, drops thousands of pounds on fine whiskey and wine every year, and as a rule won't drink anything younger than Jamie. He's been rich for a long time and I like to think he indulges in dumb rich people shit sometimes because he deserves it haha

“Have you ever had a Fireball Eggnog?” Lois asked him while he sat comfortably in the Kent rocker. Pleasant conversation around them continued as she passed him a glass of the drink.

“Should I be worried?” he dared to ask before smelling it. It smelled like eggnog but he could detect a strong aroma of whiskey.

He hated whiskey.

“It’s not poisoned,” she scoffs bemusedly.

He took a measured sip and immediately choked. It burned all the way down. “How much whiskey did you put in this?!”

“Oh, just a tiny bottle.” He could hear her laughter in those words.

this man said "i need a drink" & proceeded to craft the the most sex & the city-coded poison cocktail ever, so from cascade ocean wave blues come i give you:

Osha ducks her head to deposit the straw back in her glass, and he very carefully stores away the image of the pink flash of her tongue. “I suppose you should show off a little, just to salvage your supposedly fearsome reputation, since you’re a coward who refuses to do shots with me.”

He’d gotten a scant pour of liquor, and nurses it like a grudge. “I’ve learned better,” he tells her while wiping his hands off, “than to let my guard down around others.”

She regards him in silence, clearly trying to gauge whether his even tone is one of mild reproach.

It’s not—she is perfectly safe to let her guard down precisely because he is there to guard her—and so he adds gently, “I also don’t like straight liquor, but the only mixers they have are dishwater and cooking oil, and I figure I’m consuming enough oil as it is.” To punctuate his point, he offers her a lump of unidentifiable fried food.

 “I told you, no way am I eating that, it’s as greasy as you were back in that apothecary on Olega.”

“Greasy is a strong word. I was going for more of a windswept, ruggedly handsome look.” He fights not to smile at the face she makes, and allows, “I may have overemphasized the rugged aspect.”

“You were gross,” she informs him with what he feels is entirely too much glee, kicking her dangling feet and taking another long sip of her drink, slurping when she gets down to the dregs. It shouldn’t be endearing.

It is.

Today was the last DND session for a three-year campaign and I am big sad :(

One of the players brought whiskey for a last toast, which was very kind of them. I had never had whiskey before. Turns out I do not like whiskey. Unsurprising.

It tastes like slightly nicer hand sanitizer.

nah it was one of my guy best friend’s birthday (he shares a bday with chenle!) and he invited us over 😭 but i do drink by myself occasionally!! its fun for stress relieving lol and i usually just drink 1-2 cans before i sleep!! but if i really want to destress, i like to drink heavily so i invite my friends over and we just get shitfaced 😭

but yes drinking by yourself 10/10 would recommend! u sleep like a baby right after

This ice cream is so good actually I have so many ideas for things to use Old Bay in now fr. The cornmeal fucks with the texture too much for my liking but the flavor is So good. Like I'm definitely for suresies using Old Bay in whatever pie I end up making for Thanksgiving + I'm thinking I'll fold it into the whipped cream I think that would combine really well
