A 3D wheel alignment machine is a sophisticated tool used in automotive workshops to precisely measure and adjust the alignment of vehicle wheels in three dimensions: camber, caster, and toe. Unlike traditional 2D alignment machines, which only measure alignment in a two-dimensional plane, 3D machines provide a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of wheel alignment.

Dannymay Day 13: DND
I may have let my autism take the wheel and made a functional race and class based on Danny Phantom. Fair warning now, it's overpowered for regular dnd and has not been play tested (yet).
Race: Portal-Touched
Balanced Halfa
Unstable Halfa
Class: The Obsessed
Ice Core
Fire Core
Manufactured Core
This is a long post.
TLDR; I made a Constitution based half caster with subclasses themed to Danny, Vlad, and Danielle. I'll be uploading this to the DND wiki as homebrew at some point, but for now, here's the content. Obviously I don't own either Danny Phantom or DND.
Race: Portal-Touched
You were once human, until contact with a ghost portal changed you down to your core. You are now a unique cross between human and ghost, and able to switch between your human and ghost forms with a flash.
Subrace: Balanced Halfa
You had some self reflection and discovered your purpose, something that keeps you tethered to both the physical and infinite realms.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity increases by 2 and your Constitution increases by 1.
Age. Halfas’ human forms age slowly, while their ghost form does not need to age at all. Most halfas have ghost forms that match the age they perceive themselves as. Halfas can live to be 200 years old, but reach maturity by age 20.
Alignment. Balanced Halfas are good or neutral aligned.
Size. Medium, though halfas can be compressed into any small space that could capture a ghost, such as a thermos or vacuum.
Speed. 30 feet walking speed, 40 feet flying speed.
Languages. Common and Ghostspeak.
Rearranged Molecules. You are capable of transforming into both a human and a ghost, classifying you as both humanoid and undead. You can transform into your opposite form as a bonus action, or at will. When human, you have advantage on saving throws targeting undead, but can still be affected. You also can use your ghostly traits at half effectiveness (flying speed of 20 feet, half damage on attacks that use your ghost abilities, etc) not including invisibility and intangibility. When ghostly, you can be affected by anything that affects undead, but you have advantage on saving throws for Turn Undead.
Phantom Form. Your ghost form is natural to you, but requires focus. You do not require air while in ghost form. You are immune to disease, being paralyzed, and being petrified in ghost form, but resistant to each in human form. You can take the following actions:
Flight: In your ghost form, you can fly at will with a flying speed of 40 feet. In human form, your flight speed is halved.
Intangibility: You can walk through solid objects and creatures as if they were not there as a bonus action. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You can access this ability while in human or phantom form.
Invisibility: You can cast Invisibility on yourself as an action without using a spell slot. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You can access this ability while in human or phantom form.
Ectoblast. You can shoot ectoplasm from your hands as an action, so long as you have one empty hand. Think of this as a cantrip with a range of 30 feet. Your ectoplasmic blast adds your proficiency bonus and your Dexterity modifier to hit, and 1d8 + your Dexterity modifier lightning, force, fire, or cold damage. Once you select a damage type for your ectoblast, you cannot change it. This damage increases to 2d8 at 6th level, 3d8 at 11th level, and 4d8 at 16th level. Damage output is halved in human form.
Blood Blossom Allergy. You, like any ghost, cannot be within 15 feet of a blood blossom or anything made with blood blossoms. If you are near it, you will take 1d4 poison damage at the start of every turn. If you touch a blood blossom, or anything made with one, you will take 1d12 poison damage at the start of every turn until you remove the item or flower. Damage taken from blood blossoms is critical in ghost form, meaning double the damage or roll two dice.
Spiritual Purpose. Your obsession has developed into something new, you are a half-ghost with a purpose. Your purpose is what you have dedicated your existence to, a goal that extends beyond yourself, such as defending your family, finding lost knowledge, or allegiance to a leader or cause. You will do almost anything to accomplish this goal, even if it means sacrificing yourself. When fulfilling your purpose, you have advantage on related attack rolls and saving throws, though “related rolls” are at DM discretion. Without a purpose, or with a purpose that conflicts with your alignment, you become unstable and use the Unstable Halfa subclass unless you regain a purpose.
Subrace: Unstable Halfa
The unease within yourself manifests outward in your body. That is, if you happen to have a body at the time.
Alignment. Any alignment, with a tendency toward lawfulness.
Size. Medium, though halfas can be compressed into any small space that could capture a ghost, such as a thermos or vacuum.
Speed. 30 feet walking speed, 40 feet flying speed.
Languages. Common, Ghostspeak, and any 1 language.
Rearranged Molecules. You are capable of transforming into both a human and a ghost, classifying you as both humanoid and undead. You can transform into your opposite form as a bonus action.
Unstable Form. The beginning of your life as a halfa, whether through a portal accident or cloning, is challenging on your body. You have disadvantage on Constitution saving throws unless provided a ‘fix.’ This fix can be a cure, a familiar, or magical item to cancel out the disadvantage. If your fix is more than 30 feet from you, you will continue to have disadvantage until this is corrected. Optional: After casting a spell, make a DC10 Constitution saving throw. If you fail, you start to melt into ectoplasm. Your movement is reduced to zero and you must make another Constitution saving throw at the end of your next turn to solidify your body. While melting or melted, you are immune to being grappled and resistant to being restrained. Discovering Purpose. You can develop a Spiritual Purpose with your DM’s guidance. Your purpose must be tangentially related to your obsession, at minimum. Gaining a purpose does not remove your obsession, only calms it. If you have a purpose, you can gain advantage on either Wisdom (Insight) checks or Charisma (Persuasion) checks.
Class - The Obsessed
You must have the Halfa or Ghost Race and a Constitution of 13 required to multiclass in or out of this class.
[ID: A table listing the features, cantrips, and spells allowed for the fanmade Obsessed class. The cantrips and spells are the same for the Paladin class with one extra cantrip starting at 16th level, and the features are listed in text below.]
Hit Points
Hit Dice: 1d10 per obsessed level Hit Points at 1st Level: 10 + your Constitution modifier Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d10 (or 6) + your Constitution modifier per obsessed level after 1st
Proficiencies
Armor: Light armor Weapons: Simple weapons
Tools: None Saving Throws: Dexterity, Constitution Skills: Choose two from Arcana, Athletics, Intimidation, Persuasion, and Sleight of Hand
Immunities: petrified, paralyzed, diseased
Equipment
You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:
a simple weapon
any light armor
an explorer's pack
a ghost capture device, either (a) a thermos or (b) a vacuum
Ghostly Obsession
You have an obsession, like any ghost. Your obsession is your reason for existing–you will do just about anything to fulfill your obsession, be it violence, endurance, or self-sacrifice. An obsession can be anything, such as a person, a concept, or even a mundane object like boxes. Add your proficiency bonus to any Intelligence (History) and Intelligence (Arcana) checks related to your obsession. When fulfilling your obsession, you have advantage on related attack rolls and saving throws. If you do not have a clear obsession, you will wander or lash out at others until you find one. Without an obsession, you will have disadvantage on either Wisdom (Insight) checks or Charisma (Persuasion) checks.
Core Type
At 1st level, select a core type. You can have an ice core, a fire core, or a manufactured core.
Spellcasting
You have an innate ability to cast spells, channeling magic through your ghost half. Most of your magic seems to extend from or be a part of your body.
Cantrips (0-Level Spells)
At 2nd level, you know two cantrips of your choice from the obsessed spell list (to be determined). At higher levels, you learn additional obsessed cantrips of your choice, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the obsessed table.
When you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the obsessed cantrips you know with another cantrip from the obsessed spell list.
Preparing and Casting Spells
The obsessed table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your obsessed spells. To cast one of your obsessed spells of 1st level or higher, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
You prepare the list of artificer spells that are available for you to cast, choosing from the obsessed spell list. When you do so, choose a number of obsessed spells equal to your Constitution modifier + half your obsessed level, rounded down (minimum of one spell). The spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
For example, if you are a 5th-level obsessed, you have four 1st-level and two 2nd-level spell slots. With an Constitution of 14, your list of prepared spells can include four spells of 1st or 2nd level, in any combination. If you prepare the 1st-level spell Magic Missile, you can cast it using a lst-level or a 2nd-level slot. Casting the spell doesn't remove it from your list of prepared spells.
You can change your list of prepared spells when you finish a long rest. Preparing a new list of obsessed spells requires time spent practicing your abilities: at least 1 minute per spell level for each spell on your list.
Spellcasting Ability
Constitution is your spellcasting ability for your obsessed spells; your unique physiology grants you the ability to manipulate your own ectoplasm into magic. You use your Constitution whenever an obsessed spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Constitution modifier when setting the saving throw DC for an obsessed spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier
Ritual Casting
You can cast an obsessed spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and you have the spell prepared.
Undead Endurance
At 2nd level, you have False Life always prepared, and it does not count toward your prepared spells.
Fighting Style
Starting at 2nd level, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again.
Intrinsic Warrior. You learn two cantrips of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. They count as obsessed spells for you, and Constitution is your spellcasting ability for them. Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of these cantrips with another cantrip from the sorcerer spell list.
Defense. While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.
Dueling. When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.
Fighting Dirty. You’re scrappy and aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes. You can attack your opponents weak spots, such as strikes below the belt or to specific nerves, a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. When you use this ability, you add 1d8 of bludgeoning damage in addition to whatever damage you dealt, which is magical when in your ghost form.
Frequent Flyer. You spend more time in the air than on the ground. When flying, attackers have disadvantageous on opportunity attacks against you when you move out of their melee range. When in human form, your flying speed is equal to your walking speed, instead of half of your flying speed.
Great Weapon Fighting. When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
Obsessive Protector. When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. If you are holding a shield, or have casted the Shield spell, then you can reduce the damage dealt to the target by half or 1d10 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage).
Tunnel Fighter (UA). As a bonus action, you can enter a defensive stance that lasts until the start of your next turn. While in your defensive stance, you can make opportunity attacks without using your reaction, and you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against a creature that moves more than 5 feet while within your reach.
Unlikely Hero. You learned how to fight as you were fighting someone. You have proficiency in improvised weapons and your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier. When in ghost form, your unarmed strikes deal magical bludgeoning damage.
Ghost Sense
At 3rd level, you can sense other undead within a sixty feet radius of you without using a spell slot. This feature is triggered automatically. In other words, your DM must inform you if there are other undead within sixty feet of you without you prompting them to do so. If you choose, you can expand the range of this feature to a 120 feet radius a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Martial Versatility (Optional)
Whenever you reach a level in this class that grants the Ability Score Improvement feature, you can replace a fighting style you know with another fighting style available to the obsessed. This replacement represents a shift of focus in your martial practice.
Extra Attack
Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Fast Flyer
Your flying speed increases to 50 feet at 6th level and 60 feet at 11th level.
Overshadowing
At 7th level, you can overshadow, or possess, living creatures. You can use your action to touch a living creature and use your intangibility to take over their body and pilot it as your own. You cannot overshadow other undead or a corpse. If you overshadow a willing creature, then you can overshadow them as long as they are willing.
If you overshadow an unwilling creature, the creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw to resist being overshadowed using your spell save DC. The creature can reroll this Wisdom saving throw dependent on your level. At 7th level, they can reroll every round, every two rounds at 10th level, every minute at 13th level, every hour at 16th, and every dawn at 19th. The creature can also reroll the Wisdom saving throw if you are attempting to cause the creature to harm itself. If the creature passes the Wisdom saving throw, then you are thrown out of their body and are knocked prone. The same happens if the creature you are overshadowing is reduced to zero hit points, if two ghosts try to overshadow one creature, or if you try to overshadow a corpse or undead.
While overshadowing a creature, you use the creature’s ability scores. You cannot cast spells, but can use ghostly abilities, such as flight, invisibility, and intangibility. If you are attacked by non magical damage, the creature’s hit points are reduced, but not your own. If you are attacked with magical damage or if an attacker hits you with something that targets undead while you are overshadowing, you are affected by the attack and take the same amount of damage as the creature you are overshadowing.
After releasing a creature from overshadowing, the creature has foggy memories or has completely forgotten what happened. You will take a point of exhaustion for every day you continue to overshadow the creature. The creature will also take a point of exhaustion for every day you do not allow them to sleep or trance, if that is something they require.
Duplication
You can split yourself into multiple duplicates of yourself. You can make one duplicate at 9th level, 2 duplicates at 12th level, 3 duplicates at 15th level, and 4 duplicates at 18th level. Hit points and hit point maximums are halved, divided by three, or quartered for yourself and your duplicate(s), depending on how many you make. Subtract 1 from every ability score for yourself and your duplicate for every duplicate you make. For example, if you create three duplicates, all of your and your duplicates’ ability scores would decrease by three, bringing your Constitution down from 18 to 15 and your Intelligence down from 10 to 7, and so on. This would apply to all skill checks, spell saves, spell attack modifiers, attack rolls, tool use, etc. Otherwise, you can choose to use your unaltered character sheet, but subtract from every roll dependent on or affected by ability scores equal to the number of duplicates made.
You and your duplicates each have an action, bonus action, reaction, and movement. You can act together, but are not required to. Your spell slots are split amongst all duplicates, including ghostly abilities. You must roll for each duplicate separately. Any equipment or physical objects you have stay with the original and you cannot duplicate anything except for yourself.
When a duplicate has 0 hit points, it disappears and you absorb its ectoplasm, bringing the original’s abilities up by 1 each or reducing the number you subtract from the original’s rolls by 1. The remaining duplicates would remain unaffected. When you absorb a fallen duplicate, you absorb their hit point maximum and you regain hit points equal to your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. For example, if you made four duplicates and one had 0 hit points, the hit point maximum of the original would increase by the hit point maximum of the fallen duplicate (say 50 hit points, bringing the original up to a hit point maximum of 100) and the original would increase their current hit points by your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier (6 + Constitution).
The Restful Dead
When healing during a short or long rest, you can add twice your Constitution modifier to your hit point dice at 10th level.
Ecto-Shield
At 14th level, when you cast Shield, you can either extend your shield to cover you and another creature within 5 feet of you, or increase your AC by 7 instead of 5. You can use this ability any time you cast Shield, but only once per long rest.
Ghostly Wail
At 18th level, you unlock a terrifying power. Once per long rest, you can scream with untold strength. You automatically deal critical damage to structures and objects. Your wail is a 120 feet cone of 12d12 thunder damage and costs an action. Any creatures within this cone are deafened and must make a Constitution saving throw to take half damage. Afterward, you revert to human form (if applicable), you are knocked prone until your next turn, suffer 2 points of exhaustion, and cannot take reactions until after your next turn. At 20th level, you suffer 1 point of exhaustion but nothing else.
Phantasmal Touch
At level 20, you find a way to share your ghostly abilities onto other living creatures safely. You are able to extend your ghost abilities of intangibility and invisibility onto one other creature Large or smaller via touch. This ability can be used as often as you use your intangibility and invisibility, totalling up to twice your proficiency bonus per long rest.
You can use this ability on the same action or bonus action you spend to use a ghostly ability. To affect two creatures at once, you can use a second action for invisibility, or a separate action for intangibility. To affect a creature that is Huge, make a spell attack DC15. For a Gargantuan creature, make a spell attack DC18. Note that all creatures you affect with this ability now are considered both undead and humanoid (or whatever creature they may be).
Core Types (subclasses)
Ice Core
Chilly Exterior
Starting at 1st level, your core takes on a natural ability to manipulate and endure extremely low temperatures. You are resistant to cold damage and can manipulate ice in the following ways:
Minor ice sculpting. You can create small ice sculptures or objects at will, no longer than two feet and no heavier than 40 pounds.
Temperature control. You can manipulate the temperature around you, but only to make it colder. You can make up to 10 feet around you cold enough to freeze water, or 30 feet around you cold enough to keep food from spoiling.
Ice maker. When you touch water, you can instantly freeze it, up to 10 gallons per second.
Bitter cold. You can make a creature cold enough to have frostbite up to 20 feet away as an action. You deal 1d6 + 4 cold damage.
Frozen Knowledge
Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared. Each spell corresponds to your obsessed level in the table below.
[ID: A table showing the spells in the Frozen Knowledge feature, which include Frost Fingers at 3rd level, Rime's Binding Ice at 5th level, Sleet Storm at 9th level, Fire Shield at 13th level, and Cone of Cold at 17th level.]
Cold-Hearted Catcher
Starting at 6th level, you are proficient in using FentonWorks Thermoses, meaning you can add your proficiency bonus to tool use skill checks.
Ectoplasmic Pulse (Ice)
At 11th level, you can use your action to send out a pulse of ecto-energy. Every creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained by magical ice. On a failed save, they take 2d10 ice damage or half damage on a successful save. You can use this feature once per short rest.
Cold Snap
At 15th level, you can use your reaction to create an ice structure to help an ally. If an ally is within 15 feet from you and you can see them, you can impose disadvantage on attack rolls made against one ally until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once per short rest.
Shattered Hail
At 19th level, your duplicates can use your Ectoplasmic Pulse, once per duplicate, once per short rest. You must roll separately for each duplicate.
Fire Core
Wildfire
At first level, your core develops the natural ability to manipulate and endure high temperatures. You are resistant to fire damage and can manipulate fire in the following ways:
Fire starter: You produce small fires from your hands that can be used to light candles, spark bonfires, or controlled brush fires. Your fire can be no larger than your hand.
Turn up the heat. You can manipulate the temperature around you, but only to make it hotter. You can make the air or objects around you hot enough to boil water up to 10 feet, or hot enough to cook meat up to 30 feet away.
Tea maker. You can instantly boil water you come into contact with up to 10 gallons per second.
Tiny forge. You can heat metal to the point of being pliable enough to shape into something else. This requires you touch the metal for a full minute and the area you affect is only as big as your hands.
Intuitive Inferno
Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared. Each spell corresponds to your obsessed level in the table below.
[ID: A table showing the spells in the Intuitive Inferno feature, which includes Burning Hands at 3rd level, Heat Metal at 5th level, Fireball at 9th level, Fire Shield at 13th level, and Flame Strike at 17th level.]
Hot-Shot Trapper
Starting at 6th level, you have advantage on Intelligence skill checks to capture ghosts using Dalv Co. technology.
Ectoplasmic Pulse (Fire)
At 11th level, you can use your action to send out a pulse of ecto-energy. Every creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or become blinded. On a failed save, they take 2d10 fire damage or half damage on a successful save. You can use this feature once per short rest.
Hot Flash
At 15th level, you can warm up your allies within 30 feet of you. If you see your allies taking cold damage, you can use your reaction to create enough heat to reduce the cold damage by half. This effect lasts until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once per short rest.
Heat Wave
At 19th level, your duplicates can use your Hot Flash ability once per duplicate, once per short rest.
Manufactured Core
A New Unlife
At 1st level, your core only just developed into something real and unliving. You entered this world as someone else’s creation and you’re going to make it everyone else’s problem. You are resistant to force damage and can manipulate your core to do the following:
Test tube baby. You can manipulate your body into the consistency of ectoplasm, a thick slime like substance. You can fit into any container with at least 4 gallons capacity.
States of Matter. Solidity is a suggestion to you, something you wear when convenient. You can squeeze through any space larger than straw so long as you can get to the other side. You can use this feature as an action and a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier per long rest.
Standardized Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared. Each spell corresponds to your obsessed level in the table below.
[ID: A table showing the spells in the Standardized Magic Feature, which includes Zephyr Strike at 3rd level, Gentle Repose at 5th level, Pulse Wave at 9th level, Gravity Sinkhole at 13th level, and Steel Wind Strike at 17th level.]
Synthetic Snare
At 6th level, you are proficient in creating traps to capture ghosts. Add your proficiency bonus to Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) or Charisma (Deception) checks related to trapping ghosts.
Ectoplasmic Pulse (Force)
At 11th level, you can use your action to send out a pulse of ecto-energy. Every creature within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or be knocked prone, and 5 feet away from you if they are size Large or smaller. On a failed save, they take 2d10 force damage or half damage on a successful save. If they fail and are pushed out of your melee range, you may use your reaction to take an opportunity attack against one opponent. You can use this feature once per short rest.
Undead Tracker
Starting at 15th level, your Ghost Sense extends to a 120 feet radius centered on you. You can expend this range to a 300 feet radius a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Copy and Paste
At 19th level, you can mimic one ability from the Fire or Ice Core types of your choosing, with the exception of their always prepared spells (Frozen Knowledge and Intuitive Inferno).
The Obsessed spell list will be on its way when I have time and hopefully one day I will have enough motivation to make builds for the ghosts and for Sam and Tucker. Someone please roll a luck check for me.

On reflection i think Dragon taking in Sabo but leaving Luffy behind could potentially become a huge wrinkle in how Luffy thinks of him once they do actually meet. He could even see it as Dragon breaking up the brothers needlessly, Luffy more loyal to Ace than this essential stranger deciding in his head that Ace would have never stood in the way of the three of them staying together. Or even a 3 way conflict of “sabo would never have wanted his brothers to abandon their dream for him” vs. “luffy and ace would have wanted the opportunity to help Sabo”
Which cooould lubricate the story wheels a little for a more civil crocodile and luffy crocdad reunion, if crocodile expressed some disagreement in Dragon’s judgement or philosophy that could stand to better align with Luffy’s feelings on the topic (probably some form of pragmatism about how its pointless to save the one when you could just as easily take all 3, or that severing Sabo from his brothers made him a weaker fighter than if Dragon had taken all 3, etc.)
Goldfish logic Luffy. He is currently mad at Dragon-dad but Croco-dad is agreeing with him on it so he’s ok with Croco-dad now.
I don't think Dragon lowkey adopting Sabo would do anything to hurt Luffy's relationship with Dragon or sour his view of his father. Like there are genuinely understandable reasons to why Dragon couldn't stay with Luffy, and Sabo ended up with Dragon under unusual, unintended circumstances. Like, if Dragon explained why things turned out the way they did, I think Luffy would understand and wouldn't hold any grudges against him. Dragon had his reasons, he did what he did, what's done is done and it all turned out okay in the end, so knowing Luffy he should be okay with it.
That said, there are things Dragon did absolutely fuck up. Things that could possibly lead to Luffy being a little mad at Dragon and/or take Crocodile's side on something.
Now to be fair, we don't know how the Dragodile Divorce went down, like there are Circumstances that could potentially explain some of these potential fuck ups (on Dragon's behalf) away. But we can't go through all the potential scenarios of what might've gone down here, in the end, what really matters is that:
Dragon didn't tell Crocodile his full name
Dragon didn't tell Crocodile what he named their child
Dragon did not contact Crocodile about their child being a pirate
Dragon knew full fucking well Crocodile was literally World Famous for crushing pirates in Alabasta
Dragon knew Luffy entered the Grand Line and thus there was a genuine possibility he could eventually reach Alabasta
Even if we put what happened with the manufactured rebellion and Vivi aside, if the Strawhats had gone to Alabasta and wrecked any havoc there (even by accident as Luffy tends to do), Crocodile would have gone and killed the crew, just like the thousands of others he had crushed before. And Dragon would have been aware of this. He should have known that could happen. That his ex and child could end up fighting and someone (namely the child) dying
Meaning, even without the Bizarre Circumstances they were in, it is arguably Dragon's fucking fault that Crocodile tried to kill their son three whole times. Because Dragon didn't tell Crocodile anything, and did not even warn him their son could end up in Alabasta.
If Crocodile turned out to be fucking furious at Dragon for this, well, he would be objectively justified in being angry. Because Dragon did fucking drop the ball there, completely. Croc tried to kill his own son, completely unaware, because Dragon couldn't even tell his own full name to his partner. Not even the name of their son. Nothing.
And so if Crocodile was fucking furious at Dragon for it, perhaps even a little upset about what he did to his baby boy because of Dragon's incompetence. Yeah I think Luffy would understand Croc's feelings. He might just take Crocodile's side there.
Especially because we don't know how the Dragodile Divorce went down either, like if shit got even a little transphobic then god knows Dragon Fucked Up Bad and Luffy won't side with that shit either
#Moon posting#Asks#Sir Crocodile#Dragodile#Crocodad#Like god knows Crocodile 100% deserved the ass kicking he got in Alabasta but I don't think Luffy would hold a grudge over that#Like for the war crimes and all the death and pain and suffering Croc caused? Yes absolutely#But their battles? Nah#Luffy wouldn't have become stronger had he not faced Crocodile back then and he might not have made it as far as he did without Croc#What happened happened and Luffy might not care anymore (their personal shit I mean) (The war crimes are different tho)

Hallucigenia01 Next-Generation Robotic Vehicle (2010), by the Future Robotics Technology Center (fuRo), Leading Edge Design (L.E.D.), and Creative Box. "Hallucigenia 01 is an experimental prototype vehicle, manufactured at a scale of 1/5. Hallucigenia 01 can be classified as a multi-joint robot with 32 motors. When all joints controlled, it demonstrates excellent maneuverability, for instance, it can rotate in a single spot or travel sideways with all eight wheels aligned in the same direction. Its lifting joints and swinging joints are controlled in real time for advanced mobility; it can climb a slope while keeping the body level and can go over steps. Its name, Hallucigenia, derives from an ancient creature that lived in the sea in the Cambrian period, Paleozoic Era." – Hallucigenia01 Next-generation multi-purpose vehicles with eight wheel modules.

I may have read Wishing on Space Hardware a while ago, but I’m still absolutely floored by how good a writing decision it was on your part to get rid of the Ahab production facilities! Like yes that’ll change the entire solar system unpredictably AND weaken Gjallarhorn! A N D your characterization for Almeria was perfect for that decision!!!
:D
[Spoilers for WoSH and Iron-Blooded Orphans in general to follow; I'm not especially fussed about people knowing what's coming but if you want to go in blind to my fics, please stop here.]
I can't remember when I settled on that as the big plan. It must have begun brewing while I was writing A Handful of Rusted Petals, though the exact shape of the plot only properly took shape with The Ares Affair. Probably the wheels started turning as soon as I learned the peripheral detail that Gjallarhorn controls manufacture of the series' resident 'magic physics' black boxes.
Because while it's never relevant and Iron-Blooded Orphans never positions Gjallarhorn as something to be destroyed (we're arguing over who gets to run the armed wing of the empire, here), there is something tempting about realising their power is resting on an economic lynchpin like that. Even within the narrow sliver of the world we get to see, it's clear Ahab reactors are vital to space-faring society and an Earth reliant on space-based manufacturing. It's also clear the blocs aren't passively under Gjallarhorn's thumb -- they have their own agendas that align or conflict with that oversight by turns. The whole thing with mobile suit stockpiles being dusted off in the wake of the Battle of Edmonton indicates a desire to lessen Gjallarhorn's influence. It'd make sense if there was also a movement in favour of taking over the Ariadne Network and the reactor production. Countries don't tend to like it when a third party can just cut off their vital infrastructure, you know?
More importantly, from a writing point of view, it was something I could tie everything else into, giving me a through-line from the stuff I'd established in To Catch a Falling Star (which I wrote first) to where I was going with a grown-up version of Almiria. I could use the stuff with Iverson to establish the technical side, spinning off the detail of the reactors needing to be built close to a star (still not sure certain about the wiki's translation of that, but the idea has good visuals). I could work in the economic angle, in terms of Earth and Jupiter/Teiwaz's relation to it. I could have some Calamity War flashbacks, to explain why the Crucible was the only manufacturing station left. And it gave me the thematic motif of Hati and Skoll, which was fantastic fun to play with.
Above all, though, it allowed me to illustrate exactly how Almiria's rage had manifested, eight years on. Because there's a very real possibility that getting rid of Ahab reactor production means a long-term decline for everyone, and a considerably higher risk it'll create massive short-term instability. Space-travel gets riskier, space-based construction grinds to a stop, humanity can't reach any further, the technological triumphs of the setting are irrevocably altered, and everyone needs to adjust to a new way of living.
Of course this is Ragnarök, not oblivion. I made sure to position pieces of what could come next: Teiwaz's ascendency, the colonies pulling free of Earth, the blocs dismantling existing arrangements, a slow crumbling of Gjallarhorn as they fought to sustain themselves. Things wouldn't change at a stroke, there'd be a lot of mess, it might very well lead to something worse. It wouldn't be hopeless either. There'd be ways to adapt, to survive, to build something better.
But fundamentally, the point was to illustrate where Almira sits on that metric of 'what do you believe and what can you live with?' And the answer is, she decided there was no cost too high for the sake of seeing Gjallarhorn burn. She was going to have her revenge, consequences be damned.
And there is nothing more dangerous than a human being who isn't afraid of the consequences of their actions.

Finally, Adult Supervision (The Gap Years part 21)
July 2nd
Shiprock, NM
For a single day, the story’s timeline aligns with real life! The party finds a somewhat trusted adult. Clay does not believe in respecting his elders, but he doesn't want to get murdered by an old elven man either.
.................
Marin is asleep again, his head resting against Zerada’s shoulder. Clay is on the other side, turning a little yellow-capped bottle in his hands and thinking about their chances. It’s been five hours since the elf was shot. His alien body is reacting about how a human world, the splint is holding together, and he doesn’t seem like he’s in too much pain. That’s really all of the good news they have.
They’ve taken a winding path northeast, though not as winding as they would have taken a day before. It’s all about balancing the risk of capture against the reward of finding allies of Zerada’s family. Somehow they were tracked and found despite their best efforts yesterday, so Clay’s vote was on efficiency instead of stealth. She and Marin had explained that Genus Adust oversees a region of the elven world about parallel to the Colorado Plateau, and that her genus is large enough that it wouldn’t be a good look, or really feasible, to remove all of them. Instead, the new regime presumably killed the most elite nobility, imprisoned anyone with a claim to power, and left the rest to continue life as they always have.
Clay is suspicious of the idea that it wouldn’t be feasible to replace the entire genus. Coups are always sweeping actions, and while he isn’t as much of a historian as Brian, he knows that the semi-autonomous Navajo Nation they’ve just driven onto is proof that far more people can be moved and removed by a far less organized force. They really, truly, don’t have any other options though, so to yet another unincorporated settlement they will go.
“Can you stop doing that?” Sierra says, making eye contact with him through the rearview mirror. She only has her right hand on the wheel. That’s partly because the road is empty and the car can drive itself, and partly because of the curse. He stops turning the bottle in his hands. It’s full of pills and makes a shifting noise when he turns it. Clay rarely fidgets. It’s a sign of weakness to not know what to do with your hands, though Marin does it quite a bit and he’s a prince. The cap of the bottle is marked with a circular design that reminds him of a less threatening biohazard sign but is apparently the elven symbol for medicine that sedates and reduces pain. The high nobility are so fragile that coffee is considered a drug, and these pills contain something a lot more powerful than caffeine. In the human world, the legal manufacture of narcotics is how the Shepard family maintains its fortune. Legal manufacture. He almost laughs at that. The law works for his father, not the other way around. Brian’s dad holding the governor’s seat for the past three years has only made things easier.
Clay shoves the bottle into his pocket. Then the car is silent again. They’ve left the music off so Marin can sleep, even though the elf seems to be able to pass out anywhere, and it feels wrong to make polite conversation. The others have lost that optimism that Clay never had, and his first impulse is to think that they are all driving toward their deaths. The evidence doesn’t add up though. Except for the final shot that shattered Marin’s humerus, the soldiers were shooting to stun, not kill. The apex wants all of them alive. He remembers a young young man languishing in a laboratory cell, in an entire hallway of cells, in a building full of hallways. Zerada said that it couldn’t have been the only lab when he lifted his concussion rifle to try and damage a room full of samples. She’d pitied him.
Clay spent the rest of their time in Vegas rereading online sources and worrying about every ache in his exhausted body. Hell, the true symptoms of smallpox could take fifteen days to appear. It’s been nine. There are parts of this world that he loathes, but plague is an awful way for a society to die. Disease slips in through the cracks. It strikes the groups that Marin’s elven society (and human society too…) try to erase and lurks wherever the money isn’t. He left some people behind in San Francisco. The idea that they might face the worst of this conquest while he is presumed already dead and imprisoned in an alien realm, is enough to keep the gun in his hands even when all logic says to betray the nobles and surrender.
Marin shifts beside him. Clay reaches out to stop him from rolling onto his broken arm.
“Are we there yet?” he asks, green magic glowing in his eyes.
“We’re thirty miles from the Arizona border,” Clay replies.
“Which is also the Colorado border, and the Utah border, but we’re going to New Mexico,” Sierra adds.
“My mother hated that place,” Marin jokes. He stares out at the landscape behind Clay. “It’s only been a few hours, hasn’t it?”
Clay can interpret the statement under that. My arm hurts and it hasn’t been long enough to do anything about it.
“Do you want an ice pack? I sound like a school nurse, but I do have them”.
He’s almost out of chemical variety, but bought a ten-pound bag of ice at a gas station an hour or two ago. The inside of Marin’s messenger bag is magically insulated, but now it is also a bit damp.
So he wraps a plastic bag full of ice around Marin’s arm and tries to ignore how his smile, a strained one only given for Clay’s benefit, makes him feel. Brian is already acting like an idiot. He has a reputation to maintain as the sane one, and falling for the other half of a royal couple will not fix things. He notices a faint glow under his dark skin as well, but Clay can’t tell if it’s his broken bones glowing or something else.
“How are we supposed to know which of your allies are willing to hide you and which aren’t? It’s not like you have a signal our enemies don’t know about,” Brian asks.
Zerada doesn’t seem worried. “Loyalties are literally in our blood. Anyone still flying Adust colors will be thrilled to see both of us free. Occasionally someone will drop out of the nobility and go farm…” She and Marin share a look, “but there aren’t traitors”.
Clay narrows his eyes at that. Hadn’t he heard them say that there was a noble elf (Deanna? No, that’s from Star Trek…) who did switch sides. And this whole scheme to take over the world seems like it’s breaking tradition. They can’t just go knocking on doors and begging for help, right?
“Brian and I are going to go into town, and if we don’t come back in an hour, assume we have been captured. But that is not going to happen”. And that is the end of the debate. Brian doesn’t even argue about being the chosen escort/bodyguard/sacrifice.
They continue to drive. It’s flat here. Really flat. The red color of the ground has faded like something bled the landscape dry, and the only landmarks are a few spines of earth and a single massive rock formation. Their maps call it Shiprock, but the thousand-foot-tall spike is small enough on the horizon that he can cover it with his thumb. Otherwise, the sky above them is an unbroken hemisphere of blue. Clay is a bug at the bottom of a glass.
Sierra has noticed the rock too. “Please tell me the elven settlement is on top of that big rock. That would be so epic”.
Marin turns to her in confusion, then winces when he jostles his arm. “Why? Where would the water come from? And this place would be terrible for a stronghold”.
Brian moves to, presumably, ask about the details of elven warfare, but Sierra is faster. “Well, I’d love to live on the side of a cliff,”
“Your society is based on appearances and waste, that’s why,” Zerada snaps back. “The village is built on the plain, where the river runs in the elven world”.
There is a river in the human world too. It’s about seven miles north and has likely dried to a trickle because of industry and climate change.
Zerada directs where to park the car (the side of an unpaved road, against one of those ridges of rock that may not be natural) and steps out. Her tall boots kick up clouds of dust and Brian throws some of it over the car and its license plate. Then they’re gone, walking off into the distance where it’s difficult to tell what distortion was caused by heat waves and what was caused by illusions. Marin shifts out of the awkward middle seat to the left side. Sierra tentatively reaches out for the radio and switches it on.
One of the songs is more familiar than the others and for a moment he mistakes Marin for someone else. There is a boy back home with shorter locs and darker eyes, but Clay likes to think that he has the composure of a fantasy elf, and maybe that’s the reason for the mistake. He’s probably at work now. Clay almost laughs at that. He’s waiting for a princess to find survivors of a coup, and his ex is stocking inventory on the Pacific coast. He says something meaningless to the duo and does not let the car go quiet again until Brian returns.
He does eventually return to the car. He’s pulled his baseball cap down over his face, but he’s smiling.
“Zerada found someone. An old teacher of yours? Litayo?”
“Yes! He‘s one of Zerada’s relatives. Does he still have a fox? It would be a different fox by now”. Brian nods slowly.
They step out of the car and run as quickly as they can towards a village that reveals itself suddenly from the plain. Marin is still capable of casting some magic, but not enough for the schemes they’re used to. Brian leads them between the short buildings. His memory for locations isn’t anywhere near as good as Clay’s, but it’s enough in this village. The building is a short hexagon made of earth, with holes for airflow and a door that leads underground. He sweeps the curtain covering the entryway open and looks down. The stairs must be very steep because there are two reflective red eyes lower than where he would expect eye level to be. Then the eyes blink and a dust brown dog not much larger than a chihuahua rushes towards him. He bends down to one knee and catches the little thing in his arms. It has a pointed nose and floppy triangle ears. Is this a fox? Then his eyes have adjusted to the dimness and he looks further into the room.
Zerada and the oldest elf they’ve seen sit at a table. He wears a simple tunic in Adust orange, and his gray hair has a few streaks that show it might have once been dark. Zerada looks out of place beside him with her jewelry and human clothing.
“This is Litayo,” she explains. “He’s one of my grandfather’s cousins”. Dead father. Dead mother. Presumably captured brother. He doesn’t know the language that the casualty list was written in, but if he did, how many of them would have had that same last name?
The fox, if it can even be called a fox at this point because it just isn’t right to call a dog a wolf and this floppy-eared thing is clearly domesticated, tries to lick his face. The old elf stares down at him. The lines on his face are like the cracks in the desert ground.
“So you made the splint for His Highness’s arm? It’s capable work”.
His Highness. Clay had almost forgotten that Marin was a prince. He’s… well he looks eighteen. He’s wearing a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. He misplaces his earrings and thinks that Princess Leia is a better character than Luke. He can feel that Zerada is a noblewoman, but when it’s Marin’s turn to play music and he scans the radio stations for old rhythm and blues Clay can almost think Marin’s day-one brainwashing was true and they have known each other for years.
Marin confirms that he made the splint, but then he keeps talking. Clay is their best shooter. He has common sense. It's been a while since someone has defended him like this. His father might have disowned him by now if he wasn’t the best at everything he did, and it’s not like he really wants to spend the next four years at Harvard but once he got in it was clear that his father wouldn’t pay tuition for anywhere less. He's had to justify his existence himself. Now why does Marin think it's necessary to do it now, and only for Clay?
Clay is still kneeling on the ground with a rambunctious fox six inches from his face, but he straightens his back and sets his jaw. “ I killed a nobleman to save Marin on the day of the coup. I am more than capable”.
He bites back an additional reply. What did this nobleman do when the rest of Zerada’s family was dragged off or killed? The thing is, Marin needs a decent cast, Sierra needs a curse removed, and it won’t do to anger their best shot. When Sierra starts to defend him, he shoves the fox into her arms. Someone here needs to have common sense.
…………………
The fox-dog is to this thing (a kit fox) as a labrador is to a wolf. soft and loveable.

How to Introduce an Innovation Mindset into Your Company.
Innovation is a painful undertaking in many firms despite significant time and financial commitments. Initiatives in innovation frequently fail, and successful innovators — Polaroid, anyone? — struggle to maintain their performance. Greetings, Nokia. Yahoo, good day!
Why is developing and maintaining the ability to innovate so challenging? The causes go far further than the most prevalent cause, which is an execution failure. Lack of a really efficient plan is at the heart of the issue with attempts to increase innovation.
Organizations of all sizes and in all industries observe their efforts floundering as a result of being sucked into the ever-frantic routine. They are unable to commit to a set of rules or actions that reinforce one another in order to attain their objectives—this is the essence of strategy, remember?
Additionally, businesses struggle with global opening. They are nearly always conservative, which prevents them from forming productive alliances with startups (masters of innovation), and they don't believe it is vital for businesses to hire specialized consultants.
How did it turn out? A growing list of complaints includes failing to meet the demands and preferences of contemporary consumers, losing market and economic value, increasing competition, team discontent, and more. Such a situation is not necessary!
A plan for innovation is what, after all?
Good strategies enable an organization's varied groups to align, define its objectives and priorities, and direct actions in support of those goals and priorities.
Companies frequently outline their general company strategy (i.e., their position and scope) and how other departments—such as marketing, operations, finance, and R & D—will support it. However, they hardly ever-present concrete proposals for how to match their innovation initiatives with overarching corporate objectives.
It is crucial to keep in mind that an innovation strategy is a method used to promote innovations (in technology, services, goods, processes, etc.), often by allocating funds and personnel to R&D projects.
Companies who wish to have an advantage over their competitors must have an innovation strategy. It needs to be motivating and bring something distinctive to the being produced or already in use product, service, method, or business model. Its primary goal is to create value, which also aids in creating market uniqueness and fostering loyalty among clients, business partners, suppliers, and ultimately the target audience.
Innovation must break the mold and push limits. Despite the fact that the notion is intuitive, this does not always imply creating the wheel. Starting from scratch can frequently be significantly less profitable than building upon what already exists or cutting the corners.
Apple comes to mind immediately when you think about innovation. With tremendous success, the business that Steve Jobs started has produced distinct items and continues to do so. Innovative goods included the iPhone, iPad, and iWatch. Not out of nowhere, they appeared. The mobile phones, which already existed and were performing well (hello, Blackberry!), were something that Jobs had to take into account. could more effectively utilize the internet; similar events occurred with the other devices manufactured by the business that revolutionized the market.
The beauty of a successful innovation plan is that we may come up with tremendous surprises along the way and reach a never-before-seen success, even while smaller firms might not have the worldwide success of Apple.
The question is, how can we foster an innovative mindset?
1. Be flexible with change
Being receptive to change entails accepting and embracing the idea that society as a whole is challenged by the world's ongoing changing. It also means to be alert to the direction that this changing world is taking and to observantly follow developments and novel events. Last but not least, it also requires you to continuously assess what the change entails and what potential effects it may have on your company.
Organizations are no different from individuals when it comes to dealing with the hard issue of change. It's often exceedingly challenging for established organizations to accept that technology change will soon have an influence on their industry.
2. Welcome imagination
Believing in one's own creativity is another component of an inventive attitude. Rather of using the conventional scientific technique to solve issues, innovators believe that creativity is the best approach. Many people who have effectively used innovation in the context of regular business activity tend to have this viewpoint. The idea of design thinking forms the foundation of the innovation as art viewpoint in business, in significant part.
However, it's crucial to note that equating innovation with the arts does not negate the need for logic, methods, and structure in the pursuit of new ideas. When engaging in the practice of innovation, all things are necessary. The innovation-as-art approach emphasizes that creativity should come first when developing new ideas rather than using management techniques and organizational frameworks. It, in turn, calls for a certain culture and structure that fosters innovation. Many digital businesses are setting up shop in this neighborhood, as well. As an illustration, the business handbook of Valve Software highlights the flat organizational structure, independence, and obligation of each employee to be creative in their day-to-day job.
3. Think broadly
Today, the majority of academic scholars and subject-matter authorities on innovation concur that innovation involves more than either making small adjustments to already-existing items or creating new ones.
This brings up the issue that, in order to be innovative, one must have the capacity and bravery to think outside the box and challenge accepted ideas and beliefs. Stretching one's intellect beyond routine analysis and contemplation is what innovation is all about.
We would contend that imaginative thinking and large ideas require a blend of analytical prowess, entrepreneurial zeal, and fantasy. A group of people, and most definitely organizations, are best suited to house all these qualities under one roof. Few people are gifted with all these abilities, but they can be accommodated by a group of people. This is also one of the reasons why a diverse organizational culture has emerged as a crucial prerequisite for innovation: diverse groups that combine skills and capabilities can accomplish big thinking more readily than homogenous groups that are likely to repeatedly reproduce versions of similar thinking.
4. Show bravery
Organizations and the innovators inside them must have the guts to continually rethink how things may be done for innovation to occur. Being different from prevailing opinions and accepted "truths" in large organizations requires bravery. Before they start to lose their appeal, it requires guts to criticize tried-and-true business models, solutions, and services. Questioning management and coworkers about their continued use of established practices requires bravery. Being that one individual who consistently goes against the flow and attempts to view things from an alternative perspective requires bravery. Problematizing constantly is a sign of courage. Against conventional corporate wisdom, it requires guts to be open and vulnerable rather than playing things safe. Taking a chance on failing and venturing into the unknown need guts.
To advance innovation and foster a creative environment in organizations, all of the aforementioned steps are important. Because whenever something novel has occurred, it has always been because someone had the courage to go into the unknown. I often consider the man who began a dance party at the Sasquatch music festival when I consider the bravery required to take that initial move. In an organisation, things might also go exactly that way.
5. Quickly plan and execute
In order to keep up with the change occurring outside of an organization, innovation within that organization needs to be a quick-moving process.
The transition from idea to concept and concept to market was frequently a lengthy process in the twentieth century. Comprehensive R&D often took a lot of time. For instance, a new automobile model has taken the automotive industry an average of eight years to develop, design, and introduce. Eight years is now, however, a very long time in the rapidly evolving automobile industry. A new car can be imagined and introduced to the market in 12 to 18 months, as evidenced by potentially disruptive business models for the auto industry like Local Motors. In the years to come, this timeframe can probably be slashed even further thanks to advanced 3D printing technologies and VR-aided design and manufacturing.
In a nutshell, an innovation mindset is comprised of five essential components. We need to be adaptable, inclined towards innovation, able to think broadly, unwaveringly courageous to challenge the status quo, and quick to act.
A company that wants to be creative needs to act quickly and use an innovation process that moves quickly, together with a go-to-market strategy that works well. It's important to follow the principle of "failing fast" in this situation since new ideas and concepts must be tested out immediately and abandoned just as quickly if they don't work. Because the next "big idea" in the world is just around the corner, the organization may utilize this strategy to shift resources to the following idea rather than being caught in a fruitless innovation endeavor.
To conclude,
Always keep in mind that developing and putting into practice creative ideas needs more than a moment of inspiration and a lot of hard work, even when you have the correct mentality. It needs a disciplined procedure, outstanding leadership, and a dedicated staff. I advise you to begin right away on all of the below.

Some additional info for active chairs specifically :
1 - Back wheel position: the axis of the wheel is usually either vertically under the shoulder, or more frontwards. A common mistake is putting the wheels aligned with the backrest, which is very impractical for many reasons.
2- Backrest height: it should be a bit under the lower end of the shoulder blades or lower (or it'll be in the way of shoulder movement). Higher backrests are not more comfortable. It depends on needs and personal preferences, but very low backrests exist and can be very comfy!
3- Some active chair manufacturers have 3D simulators that you can use the hell out of as references! The best one imo is Küschall (https://kuschall.com/) although note that the square/angle tubes they use for frames are very recognisable as this specific brand, so if you don't want your character to use this specific one, you can use it as a base and round everything up. Permobil (https://www.permobil.com/) is another one but their simulator is a lesser image quality and slower in my experience. [note: this might not be active chair specific actually but idk the manufacturer for other types so I can't help you there]
4- Designing a chair for a character requires taking into account the same parameters as choosing a chair for a person (disability, lifestyle, personal tastes, financial and insurance situation...) so resources about how to choose a wheelchair can be a great way to have more insight into this. [this is not active chair specific either]
Good luck!
A guide to designing wheelchair using characters!
I hope this helps anyone who's trying to design their oc using a wheelchair, it's not a complete guide but I tried my best! deffo do more research if you're writing them as a character

Why Tyres Matter for Your Vehicle’s Safety
Your vehicle's tyres are one of its most critical components. They are the only point of contact between your vehicle and the road, which makes their condition vital for safe driving. Worn-out or damaged tyres can compromise your ability to steer, brake, or even maintain traction, especially in adverse weather conditions. Whether you're navigating city streets or driving on highways, ensuring you have the right tyres for your car is essential.

Our tyre selection includes:
All-Season Tyres: Perfect for year-round driving, offering balanced performance in both dry and wet conditions.

Off-Road Tyres: Built for durability and traction, ideal for 4x4s and vehicles that frequently tackle rough terrains.
Winter Tyres: Specially designed to perform well in low temperatures and snowy conditions, providing enhanced safety during winter months.
2. Tyre Fitment and Balancing
When you buy tyres at Tyre Choice Sunshine North, we ensure they are professionally fitted and balanced to optimize performance. Tyre fitment and balancing are essential to ensure that your tyres wear evenly and maintain optimal grip. Our experienced technicians use the latest equipment to carry out the job with precision.
3. Tyre Maintenance Services
In addition to supplying and fitting tyres, Tyre Choice also provides comprehensive tyre maintenance services, including tyre rotation, pressure checks, and wheel alignment. Regular tyre maintenance can extend the lifespan of your tyres and improve your vehicle's overall performance.
The Importance of Regular Car Service
Routine car service is another key factor in maintaining the health of your vehicle. Car Service Sunshine North includes a wide range of checks and tasks designed to keep your vehicle running smoothly and safely. From oil changes to brake checks, keeping up with regular servicing helps prevent expensive repairs down the line and ensures your vehicle performs at its best.
1. Regular Oil Changes
Changing your engine oil is one of the most crucial aspects of maintaining your vehicle. Oil lubricates the engine’s moving parts, reducing friction and preventing excessive wear. Over time, oil breaks down, and its effectiveness diminishes. Regular oil changes are essential for keeping your engine clean and running efficiently.
At Tyre Choice Sunshine North, we recommend scheduling oil changes based on your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. Our experienced mechanics can assess your car’s oil levels and quality, ensuring that your engine stays well-lubricated and protected.
2. Brake Inspections and Repairs
Your car’s braking system is another critical safety feature that requires regular attention. Worn-out brake pads, damaged rotors, or low brake fluid can severely compromise your ability to stop quickly in an emergency. Car service in Sunshine North includes thorough brake inspections to ensure your brakes are in optimal condition.
At Tyre Choice Sunshine North, we provide comprehensive brake inspections and repairs. Our technicians will check the condition of your brake pads, brake lines, fluid levels, and rotors, replacing or repairing any components that are showing signs of wear.
3. Engine Diagnostics and Tune-Ups
An engine that’s not running at its best can cause a whole range of problems, from poor fuel efficiency to reduced power. Regular engine diagnostics can help detect issues before they become major problems. During a car service at Tyre Choice Sunshine North, our mechanics will use diagnostic tools to check for any engine malfunctions and tune-up your engine for maximum performance.
4. Suspension and Steering Checks
The suspension system in your car helps absorb shocks from the road, providing a smoother, more comfortable ride. It also ensures proper vehicle control and handling. If your suspension or steering components are damaged or worn, it can affect the handling and stability of your vehicle, especially at higher speeds or when taking corners.
At Tyre Choice Sunshine North, we offer suspension and steering inspections to identify issues early. Our technicians will check your shocks, struts, springs, and steering components to ensure that your vehicle’s handling remains smooth and responsive.
5. Battery Check and Replacement
A failing battery can leave you stranded at the worst possible time. It’s important to have your battery regularly checked as part of your car service. At Tyre Choice Sunshine North, we offer battery testing and replacement services. We’ll check your battery’s charge levels, condition, and overall performance, ensuring that your vehicle starts reliably every time.

High-Impact F&I Products That Drive Profitability in Today’s Automotive Dealerships
Navigating today’s competitive automotive landscape requires dealers to leverage every opportunity for profitability. Financial and Insurance (F&I) products are among the most lucrative ways dealerships can enhance their bottom line. When paired with efficient automotive inventory management, these products not only boost revenue but also improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What Are F&I Products in Automotive Dealerships?
F&I products are services and financial offerings sold by dealerships alongside vehicles. These may include extended warranties, gap insurance, maintenance plans, tire and wheel protection, and other ancillary products. F&I represents a crucial profit center for dealerships, often generating higher margins than the sale of the vehicle itself.
The Importance of Automotive Inventory Management
Effective automotive inventory management is vital for dealerships aiming to optimize operations and profitability. Proper inventory control ensures dealerships have the right vehicles in stock to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and preventing overstock of slow-moving models.
Combining superior inventory management with targeted F&I product strategies can create a seamless customer experience that drives profitability across multiple dealership departments.
Top F&I Products That Deliver High ROI
1. Extended Service Contracts
Extended service contracts provide peace of mind for customers by covering repairs beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. These plans generate significant revenue for dealerships due to their relatively low claims payout compared to the sales price.
2. GAP Insurance
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) insurance is highly popular among buyers who finance or lease vehicles. It covers the difference between the vehicle’s value and the remaining loan balance in case of theft or a total loss.
3. Prepaid Maintenance Plans
Customers appreciate the convenience of prepaid maintenance plans that cover routine services. These plans also ensure long-term dealership service loyalty, bringing customers back for oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
4. Tire and Wheel Protection
Road hazards are a common concern, making tire and wheel protection a valuable offering. This product is especially attractive to customers purchasing luxury or performance vehicles with expensive tires.
5. Appearance Protection Plans
From paint protection to interior treatments, these plans help customers keep their vehicles looking new. Dealers benefit from high margins, while customers enjoy added value and peace of mind.
How Inventory Management Supports F&I Profitability
Aligning F&I product offerings with the inventory on hand ensures customers receive tailored recommendations that enhance their purchasing experience. For example:
Bundling Opportunities: Pairing luxury vehicles with premium service contracts or appearance packages.
Targeted Promotions: Using inventory turnover data to spotlight F&I products for aging models or newly arrived units.
Leveraging Technology in F&I and Inventory Management
1. F&I Menu Software
Modern F&I menu software simplifies the presentation of products to customers, increasing transparency and acceptance rates.
2. Inventory Management Tools
Cloud-based inventory systems allow dealerships to track trends, analyze sales performance, and optimize stock levels. Integrating these systems with F&I platforms ensures a more cohesive sales process.
3. CRM Integration
Customer relationship management (CRM) tools can capture customer preferences and history, enabling personalized F&I recommendations.
Enhancing Customer Experiences Through F&I Products
1. Transparent Communication
Clear explanations of F&I product benefits build trust and reduce resistance during the sales process.
2. Flexible Financing Options
Offering financing for F&I products makes them more accessible, particularly for customers concerned about upfront costs.
3. Post-Sale Engagement
Follow-up emails or calls to remind customers about the benefits of their purchased F&I products reinforce satisfaction and loyalty.
Challenges and Solutions in F&I and Inventory Management
Common Challenges:
Customers may perceive F&I products as unnecessary add-ons.
Overstocked or outdated inventory strains budgets and space.
Solutions:
Use data analytics to predict customer preferences and stock accordingly.
Train sales teams to emphasize the value and long-term savings of F&I products.
FAQs

Essential Tools for Safer and Efficient Driving: Tire Pressure Gauge, PCD Measurement, Loose Wheel Nut Indicators, and Valve Caps
Whether you're a seasoned driver, a car enthusiast, or just someone who values road safety, ensuring your vehicle is in top condition should always be a priority. Several tools and accessories play critical roles in maintaining vehicle performance and safety.
Among these, tire pressure gauges, PCD measurement tools, loose wheel nut indicators, and valve caps are indispensable. Let’s explore each in detail, discussing their importance and how they contribute to a smoother and safer driving experience.
1. Tire Pressure Gauge: Your Tire's Best Friend
Tires are one of the most critical components of a vehicle. Properly inflated tires ensure better fuel efficiency, improved handling, and longer lifespan. A tire pressure gauge is a simple yet powerful tool that helps maintain the correct tire pressure.
Why Is Tire Pressure Important?
Fuel Efficiency: Under-inflated tires increase rolling resistance, causing your vehicle to consume more fuel.
Safety: Over- or under-inflated tires compromise grip and handling, increasing the risk of accidents.
Tire Longevity: Incorrect pressure leads to uneven wear and tear, shortening the tire’s lifespan.
Types of Tire Pressure Gauges
Stick Gauges: Compact and easy to use but may lack precision.
Digital Gauges: Offer accurate readings and often come with backlit displays for nighttime use.
Dial Gauges: Feature a needle that indicates pressure on a circular dial. These are reliable and easy to read.
How to Use a Tire Pressure Gauge
Remove the valve cap from your tire.
Press the gauge firmly onto the valve stem.
Read the pressure on the gauge.
Compare it with your vehicle manufacturer’s recommended pressure (found in the owner's manual or on a sticker inside the driver-side door).
Adjust the pressure as needed.
Regular checks using a tire pressure gauge can prevent costly repairs and ensure a safer ride.
2. PCD Measurement: Precision for Perfect Wheels
The Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) of a wheel is crucial when replacing or upgrading wheels.
PCD refers to the diameter of an imaginary circle that passes through the center of all the bolt holes on a wheel. Correct PCD measurement ensures that the wheels fit securely onto the vehicle.
Why Is PCD Important?
Safety: Incorrectly fitted wheels can lead to imbalances, vibrations, and even wheel detachment.
Compatibility: Ensures the new wheels or rims align with the hub of your vehicle.
Performance: A proper fit enhances vehicle handling and stability.
How to Measure PCD
For wheels with an even number of bolts (e.g., 4, 6):
Measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole directly opposite it.
For wheels with an odd number of bolts (e.g., 5):
Measure from the center of one bolt hole to the furthest edge of the bolt hole farthest away, then use a PCD conversion chart to get the exact value.
Investing in a PCD gauge or template makes the process quicker and more accurate, ensuring you always get the perfect fit for your wheels.
3. Loose Wheel Nut Indicators: Spot Trouble Early
Loose wheel nuts are a serious hazard. They can lead to accidents, especially at high speeds, by causing wheel detachment. Loose wheel nut indicators are a simple, visual way to monitor wheel nut tightness.
How Do Loose Wheel Nut Indicators Work?
These are typically small, plastic caps fitted over wheel nuts. They feature a pointing mechanism (like an arrow) that aligns all indicators in the same direction when properly tightened.
Benefits of Using Loose Wheel Nut Indicators
Early Warning: Misaligned indicators signal that a nut has loosened, allowing you to take action before it becomes a danger.
Time-Saving: Quick visual inspections reduce the need for frequent manual checks.
Cost-Efficiency: Prevents damage to wheels, axles, and other components by addressing loose nuts promptly.
Where Are They Commonly Used?
While loose wheel nut indicators are commonly seen in commercial and heavy-duty vehicles, they are also gaining popularity among private car owners. They are an essential tool for anyone who values safety and peace of mind.
4. Valve Caps: Small Yet Significant
Valve caps may seem like a trivial part of a tire, but their role is far from minor. These tiny accessories protect the valve stems, which regulate air pressure within the tires.
Functions of Valve Caps
Prevent Air Leaks: Keep the valve core airtight and prevent gradual air loss.
Protect Against Debris: Shield the valve from dust, dirt, and moisture, which could cause corrosion or damage.
Enhance Aesthetics: Available in various designs, valve caps can add a touch of style to your wheels.
Types of Valve Caps
Plastic Valve Caps: Lightweight and affordable, but less durable.
Metal Valve Caps: More robust and often feature rubber seals for better protection.
Specialty Caps: Some come with built-in pressure indicators or decorative features.
When to Replace Valve Caps?
If they are cracked or damaged.
After a tire replacement or repair.
When upgrading to higher-quality caps for better protection or style.
Why These Tools and Accessories Matter
Investing in these tools isn’t just about vehicle maintenance; it’s about ensuring safety, improving performance, and extending the life of your vehicle components. Here's why every driver should prioritize these items:
Enhanced Safety: From maintaining tire pressure to preventing loose wheels, these tools minimize risks on the road.
Cost Savings: Proper maintenance reduces wear and tear, preventing costly repairs or replacements.
Environmental Impact: Properly inflated tires reduce fuel consumption, lowering your carbon footprint.
Peace of Mind: Knowing your vehicle is in optimal condition boosts confidence during every drive.
How to Choose the Right Products
With numerous brands and models available, selecting the right tools can be overwhelming. Here are some tips:
Read Reviews: Check customer feedback to gauge quality and reliability.
Compare Features: Look for digital advancements or ergonomic designs that suit your needs.
Check Compatibility: Ensure the products align with your vehicle's specifications.
Invest in Quality: While budget-friendly options are tempting, prioritize durability and accuracy for long-term benefits.
Conclusion
Tire pressure gauges, PCD measurement tools, loose wheel nut indicators, and valve caps may seem small, but their impact on vehicle safety and performance is enormous.
By incorporating these tools into your routine vehicle maintenance, you’re investing in a safer, smoother, and more efficient driving experience.
So, whether you're embarking on a road trip, commuting to work, or just taking a leisurely drive, ensure these essential accessories are part of your toolkit. After all, a well-maintained vehicle is key to worry-free journeys.

What is the Most Common Problem in a Volkswagen Steering System?
Volkswagen vehicles are known for their precision engineering and smooth handling, but like any car, they can experience wear and tear over time. One of the most common issues owners face is related to the steering system. Understanding these problems, their causes, and how to address them can save you from costly repairs and ensure your vehicle continues to perform at its best.
The Most Common Steering Problem: Power Steering Fluid Leaks
One of the most prevalent issues in Volkswagen steering systems is power steering fluid leaks. This problem often arises due to worn or damaged seals within the steering rack or hoses. Over time, exposure to heat and regular use can degrade these components, leading to leaks.
Symptoms of Power Steering Fluid Leaks:
Difficulty turning the steering wheel, especially at low speeds
A whining or groaning noise when turning
Visible fluid puddles under the car, usually reddish or amber in color
Why It’s Important to Address:
Ignoring fluid leaks can lead to a complete failure of the power steering system, making the vehicle unsafe to drive and increasing repair costs significantly.
Other Common Steering System Issues
While power steering fluid leaks are the most common, Volkswagen vehicles may also encounter other steering-related problems. Below are some additional issues to watch for:
Faulty Steering Rack
The steering rack, which connects the steering wheel to the wheels, can wear out over time. Symptoms include inconsistent steering response, clunking noises, or a loose feeling in the wheel.
Electronic Power Steering (EPS) Failures
Modern Volkswagens often use electronic power steering systems instead of hydraulic ones. Malfunctions in the EPS module or sensors can lead to sudden loss of power assist or warning lights on the dashboard.
Tie Rod End Wear
The tie rods connect the steering system to the wheels and play a critical role in maintaining alignment. If the tie rods wear out, you may experience uneven tire wear, poor alignment, or a wobbly steering wheel.
Steering Column Issues
Problems in the steering column, such as excessive play or unusual noises, can result from worn bearings or misalignment. These issues may also affect the functionality of steering wheel controls.
Preventive Maintenance Tips for Volkswagen Steering Systems
Regular maintenance is key to avoiding steering system problems. Here are some tips to keep your Volkswagen’s steering in optimal condition:
Check Power Steering Fluid Levels: Regularly inspect and top up fluid levels if needed, using the manufacturer-recommended type.
Inspect for Leaks: Look under your vehicle for any fluid puddles or wet spots near the steering components.
Routine Wheel Alignment: Misalignment can strain the steering system. Schedule regular alignments to avoid uneven wear and stress.
Professional Inspections: Have your steering system checked during routine service visits, especially if you notice unusual noises, resistance, or warning lights.
When to Seek Professional Help
If you experience persistent steering issues, it’s essential to consult a professional mechanic or Volkswagen service specialist. They have the tools and expertise to diagnose and repair steering system problems accurately.
Signs You Need Immediate Attention:
Loss of steering control or difficulty turning the wheel
Loud, unusual noises during operation
Warning lights indicating power steering or EPS issues
Conclusion
The most common problem in Volkswagen steering systems is power steering fluid leaks, but other issues like faulty steering racks, EPS failures, and tie rod wear can also occur. Staying vigilant about symptoms and maintaining your vehicle regularly will help prevent these problems from escalating. For complex repairs, trust a qualified technician to restore your Volkswagen’s precision and safety on the road.
