One nice thing to think about is that when Wes dies at the series finale *SPOILERS*, because he was still a Wolfram & Hart employer, the perpetuity clause is still in effect and that means that he'll go the same place as Lilah.

It feel like the Wesley/Lilah ship blew up a little bit over the past handful of years, because I remember when I was on Tumblr back in the early-mid 2010s, there was hardly anything on here. It was like a Wesley/Lilah desert. Every once in a very rare while there would be something, but it was few and very far between. But going to their tags now, it feels like there's so much stuff here.

It's possible that I'm wrong, but if I'm not I'm super curious why the ship just started getting so much love over the past few years. It's not like Angel just wasn't a show people on Tumblr watched or were familiar with back in my day. So it doesn't seem like the show itself just got an influx of new fans and so Wesley/Lilah did too.

Wesley and Lilah were ultimate salvation after the loss of Darla, which meant no Dangel and Cangel was going through it, courtesy of certain forces that conspired against them. Three of favorite moments were Wesley calls what the two of them have a relationship and signs the dollar bill, when he burns her contract and when he talks to the hallucination version of Lilah; and later cuts off her head.

“Hey what’re you..” was as far as Lilah got before she was rendered unconscious by Tolass. Lindsey glared at him. “What the fuck Tolass..” he didn’t get to say anything else as Tolass went to go find a secure way to get the four of them out of the hotel.

Lindsey looked over at Lilah and sighed. “Impressive.. but also slightly dangerous..” he said when Wes got all in awe of the vampire. “You have way too many supernatural friends..” he commented. “Are you sure this ritual you found is even going to work? What’s plan b if it doesn’t or if something goes more wrong huh?” He moved over to sit on the bed and gently moved Lilah so she wasn’t just slumped over.

Lindsey had gotten a package delivered to his hotel room, it was addressed to Lilah. He figured it had to do with her residence having a special barrier. So he’d called her and she came over to get it. Everything should’ve been fine, except that she opened the box and took out a stunning diamond and emerald necklace.

Lindsey helped her put it on, he fixed the clasp. Once he stepped back, once he did everything was fine for a second,then it was like someone had flipped a switch. The necklace glowed bright for a second and Lilah hit the floor. When the light faded in her place was a teenager lying unconscious on his living room floor.

Lindsey immediately placed her on the couch and called both Wes and Tolass. He let the phone ring and he kept glancing back at the girl on the couch. “Come on.. one of you please pick up..”
