In light of new developments, I'd like to introduce you to
the REAL-TIME FANDUB ROADMAP VERSION 3
Tumblr media
This infographic (which I've been publishing for Twitter followers since 2022) is for new viewers to find themselves in this great big circle of what I call "fandub whimsy". A guide to the works of the Pirate Theydy or the ClownHouse.
Titles that are closer to each-other imply association. The further a title is from the top, the more indirect the association is.
If you need to find this more easily, this is also available on my blog menu under "ROADMAP" along with older versions of the document!
Share this with folks who you're getting into Real-Time Fandub or any of the projects listed here!

An extremely silly gift piece for @wimexseven as thanks for her turning me onto the mass effect series. Let me know in comments or reblog which dialog option you're picking!

Imagine this in the live-action Zelda movie:
It’s somewhere in the middle of the movie. Link and Zelda have fled from Hyrule Castle, which has been taken over by Ganondorf. Zelda wants to recruit a neighboring kingdom to fight back against Ganon while Link, being her designated knight, says they need to stay in hiding.
So, we get the typical dynamic of two hard-headed individuals who mean well but are butting heads due to their conflicting goals. Zelda gets annoyed with Link, and vice versa. But Link doesn’t want to show his frustration since he’s the bodyguard. This leads to Link letting his frustration out in a passive aggressive way (like saying “you’re welcome” a little too sharply).
This all culminates in a scene where Link catches Zelda trying to take one of their horses so she can go off on her own. Link says she can’t do that while Zelda angrily shouts something along the lines of, “I don’t need your protection!”
There’s a second of silence. Then, in the most annoyed Link has ever been, he shouts, “WELL, EXCUUUSE ME, PRINCESS!”
And then Zelda just stares at Link, more confused than angry.

Aloy, Chaotic Bean.
I adore this, so, so much! This is what Aloy, in my head, looks like when she’s in her chaotic moods. I love lil Aloy so much. Pt. 1 of the commissioned pieces.
Illustrated by @fumikaandy0.8 on instagram. 10/10 would recommend. She did this on her phone. It’s totally mind blowing. The skills???

Not like there was any doubt the answer wasn’t an immediate yes. Zelda knew by the look in his eyes. He wore his heart on his sleeve but it now lovingly greeted her back.

Why does Dobson hold Link from the Zelda cartoon in such high esteem? The cartoon makes him sound like a misogynist dude-bro who can't keep it in his pants. How much you want to bet if Link was a blondie in the cartoon, Dobson will despise him.
The best I can understand it is, the DiC version of Link was Dobson’s first ever exposure to Link/Legend of Zelda, so therefore it’s considered the “true and original” version to him, and the version every Legend of Zelda should be based on.
The hair color also probably played a big factor too, yes. “He’s just like me, fr fr!”

Oh boy, smooching time!
Yeah I unapologetically love the Legend of Zelda cartoon from the 80s so here’s a screenshot redraw
(thank you @aquaticpal for the screenshot, you’re awesome)

When I think of the 1989 LoZ cartoon being rewritten with better lore, I immediately think of Link being the secret wielder of the Triforce of Courage, and he purposefully stopped Zelda from taking the Triforce of Power because then people would realize that there’s one more, which would not only put him in serious danger, but also possibly bring back old foes that Link had to face by himself.
Basically what I’m saying is “GIVE THAT BOI SOME TRAUMA!” NO LINK IS SAFE FROM ANGST!
I want a story where Link reveals that there’s a third Triforce and it resides within people and that he’s the chosen wielder!! I want a story where monsters from Link past suddenly show up and Link’s like “Are you KIDDING ME”!! I want one where Link needs to use sign language because he’s so stressed he can’t talk!!
Zelda: I know it’s probably called the Triforce because it’s a triangle, but sometimes I wonder if there’s a third.
Link: *spits out his water*

I don’t have a whole lot of art I’m proud enough to post, but I figured I should put SOMETHING out there, so here’s an old drawing of 1989 Link and Zelda 😊
(I’m so new here I have no idea what I’m doing hdhwijsjedjdjw)
