Ever seen a dog do juggling act before? Make that while juggling a musician cat boy while in his neat suit. For today’s Inktober, (if one of my closest friends can see this) I’d followed this recent ARG of “Welcome Home”; a fictional television puppet show that took inspiration of Sesame Street/Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Though being an ARG had sinister secrets to uncovered. 😱

That said, I’m going for a friendlier approach after did this Inktober artwork. Do hope they won’t get stage fright in front in the audience EYES.

Welcome to the weekend! (+ writing updates)

Is anyone else frothing at the mouth over October being so close, or is that just me? 🎃 I really love Halloween 😂

Speaking of, I made some incredible progress on the Halloween demo this week. It's at 23k words, with some left to do. It's a "deal with the devil" kind of story 👀 I've always loved those, and they fit perfectly into the world of the Fey. I'm so proud of myself - I literally don't know how I've written this much in addition to the main story.

As for Leas proper, I hit such a wall figuring out how to keep the story's conclusion from getting too complicated. I have that issue at times, of wanting to throw too much plot into what would otherwise be a good story 😂 The cutting part of editing is a blessing in the writing process. I think I've fixed the issue I was facing, though the true test of that will come from the beta. Fingers crossed!

This weekend I'm focusing on writing as much of chapter 9 as possible. The week had me fixing issues and sketching out choices to connect the existing pieces, and now it's time to go back and fill in. If I can get one route completely finished by the end of the month, I think I'll be in a great place, since I've already done a bit of work on the other two.

It’s Tumblr’s 2024 Year in Review!
