Rising Star: Welcome Coffee

Welcome Coffee è un progetto musicale rock-alternative formatosi a Trieste nel 2012. L’idea di base è quella di fondere varie sonorità musicali, lasciando libero sfogo alle attitudini dei singoli musicisti.

Nel 2013 abbiamo pubblicato il nostro primo lavoro “Box # 2“, un EP di 5 tracce. Nel 2015 esce il nostro primo album chiamato “UneVen“, contente 11 canzoni. Nel 2017 registriamo un nuovo Ep chiamato “The Mirror Show“. Nel contempo pubblichiamo anche un video tributo a Twin Peaks chiamato “Doppelgänger“. Nel 2018 pubblichiamo il nostro primo videoclip ufficiale chiamato “The Mirror Show”, tratto dall’omonimo EP.

Tra la fine del 2018 e l’inizio del 2019, tra un live e l’altro, viene composto del nuovo materiale per il prossimo album. A giugno 2019 iniziano le registrazioni delle 10 tracce dell’album. A causa del Covid-19 e cambio di formazione, nel 2021 finalmente pubblichiamo il nostro secondo LP chiamato “Light Years Away“. A luglio 2021 esce il primo videoclip del singolo “Light Years Away“ che anticipa l’uscita dell’omonimo album. Ad agosto invece è la volta del secondo singolo “Ice in my Mouth“. Il 22 ottobre esce “Light Years Away” disponibile sui maggiori canali social e in versione fisica nel negozi di dischi.

Fun little headcanon:

Eddie doesn't have a house of his own, so he sleeps at frank's house. That was how it started at least. When Frank found Eddie slumped over his desk one evening, and promptly declared it "unacceptable" for him to sleep like that. He practically dragged a heavy-eyed Eddie to his house and made the couch into a makeshift bed.

This became a daily routine for them. Even though they didn't start out being romantically involved they would wait until the rest of the neighbourhood slept, to not raise suspicion.

Now, Eddie no longer sleeps on the couch. The two sharing quiet early mornings; chatting about everything and nothing, drinking coffee and exchanging goodbye kisses before Eddie sneaks back to the postoffice.

No-one knows about their ritual, maybe except Julie. But she'll never tell.

Satoru Gojo goes to the same cafe every day for his coffee-flavored confectionary beverage. You are the barista tasked with pumping his drink with the unreasonable assortment of syrup squeezes.

You don't blink at it. You've been in customer service forever. Everything is second nature to you. But you give him a look when you hand him a drink and he just starts going.

He likes to make small chat, you learn. About meaningless things - desserts, drinks, the weather - but he makes you laugh, and he laughs at your jokes, too. He's smiling every time you talk.

He's beautiful - in that way that makes you uncertain if he's really there - and friendly, and he seems a bit lonely, eager to converse.

Something tells you Satoru probably doesn't have a lot of close friends. He's rich, too, judging by the massive tips he leaves you.

The thing is, you do a lot of things on autopilot. It's just the way these things get after a while. Pouring drinks, "What would you like today?", "I'll have that out for you soon!", "Have a nice day!", all that stuff.

Sometimes, though. Sometimes. Wires get crossed.

He's picked up his drink to leave, giving you a cheeky smile and a little wave, and you tell him, without thinking twice:

"Love you, bye!"

No one is more surprised than the Baron when Feyd comes to him with a proposal for a peace treaty. Only the Baron is better at hiding it than everyone else.

It's a mess, honestly. Feyd has some political acumen, but he hasn't so much as seen a peace treaty before, let alone been trained to write one entirely on his own. But there's a decent non-aggression pact and favourable trading parameters. And the recipient of these generous conditions? House Atreides on Caladan.

Behind the scenes, the Bene Gesserit are freaking out. They cannot figure out why one of their most important chess pieces has been replaced by a non-existent non-evil twin. They reach out to Lady Jessica for information about why he's picked the Atreides of all houses.

Without knowing why Feyd is so insistent on this, the Baron doesn't want to reject Feyd's proposal. He's politically savvy and wants all the information before he makes a decision.

Crack Option: Feyd is already married to Reader. Reader has run out of all the coffee she brought with her to the marriage and there's only one planet in the Imperium that supports the growth of coffee trees: Caladan. The day he fell in love with Reader (long after his wedding day) he swore he'd never let anything hurt them. Also Reader won't put out while dying of caffeine withdrawal headaches.

Darker Option: Feyd will act as heroic and peaceful as necessary for as long as necessary to secure Reader's hand. He doesn't have plans after that.

Romance Option: Reader's family lives on Caladan and he cannot convince them to marry him if he cannot step foot on the same planet. 💔💔💔

They work on a rival coffee shop that isn't even that close to Mothra's, but since Ghidorah's petty like that, he'll bother them and act like a cartoon villain to bother them lmao

Rodan used to be somewhat close to Mothra and Goji when they were younger, but they dont talk much anymore nowadays
