His attention was on a white mask young woman in the black robe. At first, she was fiddling with a cat headed wand, but in mere moments the item transformed into a long bow. Its cat head at the top and paw at the end. Her purple hair companion then materialized his bow of twisted branches and they both proceed into a competition of shooting down apples by their stems. They laughed at the silliness of it all and then wave to him to join in on the fun. But he huffed out an annoyed reply and stomped off.

Earlier point in time probably after Camp Dragonhead with the small houses/lookout stations near the main path

“Who was she and why are you such a baka tsundere?” The young summoner shot him a question when they were seated by the campfire. Her strange little carbuncle though contented to be patted kept eyeing him in suspicion. Never once had any of her companions left her alone with him.

“Do not mock me. And stay out of my mind!” "Can't. I don't control the dreams. I had seen spirits acting dumber than you. And dumb spirits who appreciated being reunited with family, friends and lovers.” She passed him a bowl of soup. He stared at it before stirring the orangey tangy stew. Gingerly he took a few careful sips of the flavoury warmth.

“Even if for a mere moment? Should the person no longer remembers?” “You could ask her yourself you know." She indicated the white mage clinging to the arm of the red cloaked assassin. Unless the assassin was sent out for scouting trips or reporting on things. The couple was never far apart, much to the embarrassment of the dual wielding archer who she treats like her son. Which in turn earn the archer further teasing by his comrades. "She’s building new memories with her new-old family. Sometimes certain memories are ingrained so deeply. That one took time to acknowledge the difference though. At least he stopped running away after their third or was it fourth kid answered my summons.” His silence was the only answer for her. “They must have meant a lot to you to walk this path.” “Aren��t you doing the same? For her, for them.” “What else can I do to restore my world? There was nowhere else to go in that white emptiness.” “What else indeed.” He stared into the the bowl.

----------- Note - Yes sir A nice bowl of Emiya's stew (probably Ishgardian Beet Soup that I carry in bulk) would warm you up.

6 kids - Two Emiya boys, an Edlefelt girl(technically an Emiya) and three Einzbern girls by year 6. 7 if you consider a summer Prillya Alt an individual and 8 if future Avenger Khloe is considered as well.

I made it a point to reunite the Einzbern-Emiya family if possible. The parents are from a timeline where they never met but mom has memories of her other self because of her grail connection. the 3 younger girls are from the same timeline(sort of). the eldest girl might be from the official Fate timeline. And the two boys are alternate timeline version of themselves. The girls are very likely shards of each other. Let's not include young-old Gramps-Bro and leave him as Gramps.

There's probably a few half remembered Eastern (yokais / Qilin / celstial mounts/ raijus/ lion dance) and Grecian folklore mixed inside the furball. Absolutely nothing to do with Abyssos 8th circle.

I love that ship where both characters are introduced as friendly, only for one to turn out to have been lying the whole time and try to kill the other, all of which eventually culminates in their defeat and dramatic (and literal) fall, only then for them to return as a reluctant ally of their once enemy who knows them way too well and whose new relationship with them is largely interpreted as bantery. What do you mean which one.

“Mmmmm! Delicious!” Merlin squeaked. There were practically hearts floating above his head as he wiggled and continued, “I can taste the love baked into these! Lucky me! I bagged the absolute best baker in town… no! In the universe!”

Well, Fou certainly couldn’t disagree with that. Everything Romani baked was heavenly. He grabbed himself another cookie and started to eat it. And he’d finish off that last one if the guy didn’t pay attention.

“I’ve been watching you… You and her are not too different. She would have understood.” He glided around the young Hyur woman.

She was no taller than Elidibus. Her white and black attire would have given the orange hair young woman away as an Ishgardian citizen. And yet she was dressed in highhouse justacorps like the young young men do. This young summoner would have caused quite a scandal in Ishgard.

“Fooouuu…….” He ignored the growling carbuncle at her feet, it was a strange little thing, not as luminescent as regular carbuncle goes. The weak little fluffy thing seemingly reminded him of Elidibus.

“Do you not wish to take back what was once lost?  To return to the life that you had before? Ordinary? Mundane? Happy?” He had her attention and it made him wonder how similar was she to him?

All that he managed to discover were but bits and pieces, but that was enough to draw her into his web.

“Do you not wish for your dear friend to have a chance at that normal life too? And the chance to bring her family back?”

He smiled, offering a hand to young woman despite the mistrust of her team and that annoying archer tracking him with his arrows. They were of no concern to him for they defer to her.

“I can teach you.”

Note - Don’t know where this would go but the mirrors and parallels of FGO and FFXIV had been bugging me ever since Olympus’s(NA) Wodime godhood reason monolouge and Varis’s alliance parley reason for maybe godhood speech happened within days of each other. .

And Emet, Hylnyan and Gudako ran amok with the whole – hero of one story is the villain of another. Still in Tuliyollal vacation mode soo… I don’t exactly have new stories from Hylnyan. And she doesn’t want Gudako squatting on her blog.

Prompt #29: Contravention

Note – Binding coils spoiler. The crossover that never was and the one alt who never got raise proper. And stuff was conveniently unwritten around 6.2 with much handwaving.

They were quite the unique group for the way some of them were dressed, the Knights and healers. The sand hair Miqot'te had thought they were from Ishgard when they hired him to be their guide through the Shrouds and later to Castrum Occidens

But like the "too fluffy a tail to be a Miqot'te" huffy and elegant Caster of the group they claim to be from the far east and had lost their local contact. Stranding them from reaching out to their home base.

He didn't buy it but the summoner pays well and he needed something to do until he could figure out his situation. Somehow.

This job at the Castrum was for the Summoner’s friend. A pale hair mage as young as her. Considering how dangerous the foray into the Castrum was, a lesser man would have fled but the group fought well around the flame hair summoner, coordinating somehow with her warriors of shadows.

Neither mecha nor wyverns stood a chance against them. Taking down dragon after dragon. Even the majestic firebird was no match for them. Nothing escapes their blue hair lancer and the formidable pale hair knight. Not even the enthralled firebird.

And fell the firebird to free the old sage they did. 

"The coils have been uncoiled goshujin-sama!." The far eastern caster called out.

While the twins were bidding their grandsire farewell. The flame hair summoner went about rooting through the remains of Castrum. Joyfully she lifted up a golden cup to her pink hair shield knight.

"We can go home now!"

The coils that bind him had been uncoiled.

"There you are." A young voice from behind him called out, as a single feather fluttered down before him.
