Bought this S$3.80 Hand Tear Loaf (手撕包) from Wataa Bakery which is a franchise brand of homegrown halal-certified confectionery chain Swee Heng Bakery. Caramelized and golden-brown on the outside, yet fluffy soft and buttery inside. No jam or butter needed; it is good on its own.

A colleague who recently retired recommended this Red Bean Bread (S$3.50) from Wataa Bakery. This halal-certified confectionery is a franchise brand of homegrown Swee Heng Bakery. This fluffy yellow bread has a spiral of sweetened red beans embedded in the dough and sesame seeds on the outside. The bread is good on its own if not a wee bit sweet due to the sweetened beans.

Bought this Coffee Walnut Bread (S$3) from Wataa Bakery which is a franchise brand of homegrown halal-certified confectionery chain Swee Heng Bakery after the good reviews from several of my colleagues. The pull apart bread is infused with the aroma of coffee and topped off with crunchy walnut pieces. I only had it once as every time I tried buying it, it is either sold out or not available. :(
