Good fucking day, Robot enjoyers! Gaze upon the updated semi-accurate height comparison of Bumblebee across the multiverse.

This is an updated version of a chart I made a few months ago. I had gotten some feedback and then TFOne came out and I kinda had to update it. I also added a Gen 1 Optimus Prime for scale, for fun... no other reason... (edit: slight adjustment made, just corrected a slight mistake in the order)

I am also working on at least two more character charts and one universe chart, so hopefully I can finish those soon (for some fucking genius reason I decided to do the characters that show up EVERY FUCKING UNIVERSE so I'm s u f f e r i n g)

Listed Heights, Explanations, and Justifications below the cut, bc you couldn't shut me up if you tried and I had shit to say.

Gen 1 - ~10 feet (TFwiki says greater than 3 meters so I rounded up to the first whole number because round)

Netflix Cybertron Trilogy - ~10 feet (He looks identical to Gen 1 so... the reason his photo looks weird is because I couldn't find a good full body photo with him standing straight up facing the camera so I put two images together to make the worst looking photoshop job you have ever seen)

Earth Spark - ~10 feet (There is no confirmed height yet, but using this screen shot (see below) of him standing in front of a barn door, I was able to make a reasonable guess, bc I'm so smart.)

One V1 - ~13 feet (I am well aware of what the TFWiki says: 26.429 feet. And I fully reject that number. A: These numbers are sourced from the Walmart Promotional AR Experience that came out before the movie. B: There are three decimal points, and that number does not convert into a whole number in meters (which is originally what I thought was weird about it). C: The director has said that this movie is both canon to the LA movies and its own separate canon, and Bumblebee in both sets of LA movies does not exceed 20 feet tall. Ever. So, for sanity's sake, I have used the KCV numbers as my baseline. Bee grows when he gets his t-cog so shrink this one down a few feet. Look, I'm working on the Optimus chart rn, and one of the numbers from Beast Wars on the wiki was very observably wrong, and if I can dispute numbers older than me, I can dispute numbers 2 decades younger than me from fucking Walmart. Also, yes, his picture is 3 images sandwiched together)

Animated - 13 feet 3 Inches (There is no actual given heights, but in the comments of the previous version, @phoenix-inanis told me that they had done their own analysis of TFA heights and, gonna be real with you, I am blown away by all of their work and how detailed it is. One V2 - ~15 Feet (Please see reasoning above. Since this is as tall as we see Bee get, he's the same height as KCV Bee. Sweet fuck, I have put way too much effort into this shit)

Knight/Capel-Verse - 15 feet (No actual numbers, but Mirage is stated to be 15 feet tall (TFWiki), and he and Bee are like the same height, so... Capel directed the ROTB movie if you're wondering why his name is there)

Bayverse V1 - 16 feet (TFWiki. This is like the first 3 movies minimum, I don't remember when he hits his growth spurt. Also mr bay is king, we have numbers for nearly every character in BV)

Cyberverse - 18 feet (I'm gonna be honest, the only info we have is from a really shitty screen shot of a magazine. SO if any one has a copy of this book from the video below, a high quality scan would be greatly appreciated and I will kiss the ground you walk upon. Yes I found the video where the screen shot comes from leave me alone)

Bayverse V2 - 18 feet (TFWiki. Movie 4-5 I can't remember which one, I'm not re-looking this up. I fucking love the bayverse tho, this is the only universe with concrete and consistent this-character-is-this-height info)

Aligned Cont. WF/FOC - 20 feet (TFWiki/Fandom. Video game info screens you godsend, kiss me sweetly)

Aligned Cont. TFP/RID15 - 21 feet (These two designs are canonically identical, like in ALC canon, Bee has not changed visually at all...Ok, yes I got this number from fandom and they give literally no source for where they got these numbers. But, I can fully believe these are accurate. Just by looking at these characters on the show I can verify these numbers in my mind. Here, let's Compare.

This is Sam compared to Bee from one of the BV movies, I'm too lazy to check which one. Sam is average size for a human and we know Bee is 16 feet tall in the first three movies. Checks out. Let's now look at a TFP Character who is also 16 feet tall.

Jack is average size for a human, and the size difference is about the same. Can you see why I can't question the Aligned heights, even if they don't have a source??!?! They specifically made this universe to be full of freakishly tall robots for some fucking reason.)

Not Pictured: Aligned Cont. Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy Bumblebee - 21 Feet tall. Look, did you want to see all 5 versions of ALC Bee? No, you don't. They're all the same height anyway; the back row would have just been a wall of redundant yellow. 5 different fucking art styles in one universe, why is that one my favourite.

The plot HAZBIN lost

The hazbin pilot allowed Charlie to have a socially opposing view point and do something about it with pride. She moved to a new locations and started up her own business, still at any time she could call her supportive parents, one may be more willing to listen, one may have an "I told you so" attitude but either way the impression of closeness is there. She was a hardworking person using her privilege for good.

Charlie's goals complemented the secondary plot of the angels dealing with an overpopulation problem, she was the whole solution to this problem, all she needed to do was start up her business that she had the resources to run, she did that, then, all she needed to do was be herself.

This series no matter was always likely to face the one issue major issue, who are the candidates for reform and upgrade likely to be? Probably nobody of the main cast. Now that we have elitism and animosity, chances are this will only prolong this question.

We had yet to meet any angels but like with the demons, she could have faced adversity, she could have faced support.

The angels were robotic copy pastes of eachother, their was plenty of direction to take them in.

Now they're the leading adversaries who don't just professionally deal with the problem that is a crowded hell, but they slaughter because they fear hell toppling heaven but seems to see slaughter as a form of sport, they fear being overpowered and their fears apparently just come true.

Question.

Why would anyone want to be amungst them?

Why would Charlie want to send those she rehabilitated to heaven, which we haven't been sold on at all.

Before, we saw the destruction left behind after an angel mass slaughter, it fit that Charlie believed residents of hell deserved better and better objectively existed, but a prehistoric conflict and war combined with 'chosen one' Charlie strips her of her goals, they are no longer hers but what is to be expected, which stripped of her quirkiness, she's no longer that bizarrely nice and caring person because there's no reason to believe her behaviour is exceptional, everyone is there because they are a loser. The winner in heaven and loser in hell concept tells us nothing about a person, it highlights corruption which goes well with this new conflict we are now sold on. The political elements take away from wanting to do good deeds for little other reason than wanting better for people, furthermore, since Lucifer is now a depressed and misunderstood figure who created this world and his charming wife as good as run it, throw in what we now know about the angels and what's so wrong with this place?

Her parents have a backstory and she doesn't, she didn't to begin with but after years of waiting for an adaptation, Charlie becomes a byproduct in her own show. Her parents get to be mysterious absent figures while Charlie is simply absent fo the most part.

Maybe she's busy ruining a whole hotel? An easy job that nobody is interested in seeing apparently.

It's like Charlie just wasn't edgy enough? She has lost her stable family, unique perspective and choice. Her status continues to account for nothing even thought technically, it has boosted since her parent now built hell and there hasn't been an involved god figure.

No longer is she someone going into the unknown with nothing really to lose but a lot to gain, now there's war and a whole host of adversaries, taking us away from the hotel, those that check in and those who would upgrade.

Thinking about Guel and Suletta's Final Duel

When I first watched it, it was a little confusing.

If you take it straight as Guel says, what he's saying here doesn't really make any sense. Guel has no reason to stand in the way between Miorine and Suletta at this point.

He does sincerely care about Miorine now, but not romantically, and he also knows that he can't do anything to help her out of her despair.

He's already confessed to Suletta and was incredibly understanding when he was rejected, so it's not as if he's trying to step between them.

So this battle is clearly not about Miorine at all. So then, what is it about?

It's about Guel needing to prove to himself if he was ever a match for Suletta Mercury.

It's never something that's outright stated, and it's something that you can easily miss if you aren't paying attention, but Guel and Suletta are Rivals in this series.

They have the most onscreen fights with each other. Their rivalry is one of the consistent undercurrents of the series, but the problem is that not a single one of their fights was EVER on even ground.

In their first match, Suletta was piloting a Gundam vs. Guel's Dilanza. The deck was stacked so heavily in Suletta's favor that it might as well not have even been a fight.

Their rematch was similarly cheated on Guel's end. His father rigged the sprinklers to go off, robbing suletta of her lasers. He wasn't even piloting the Darilbalde for half of the fight because it was being autopiloted for him. (And this is something he's clearly upset about)

And their third match was completely and utterly rigged from the start. It wasn't a test of skill between them at all. Aerial REBUILD Permet Score 7/8 was nigh undefeatable by any normal mobile suit, and so the only way to ensure Suletta would lose was to shut Aerial down.

So even after all this time, and all of their fights, Guel still doesn't know. He still doesn't know which of them is truly stronger. And that's what this duel is about.

Their final duel is also the only one between them that's on truly even ground. You can even see this with how they change the duel vow

It's just the two of them. No fathers to cheat for them, no ghost robot sisters to rely on, not even any mobile suits this time. A pure, untainted one on one fight. And the result of this duel will finally reveal the truth of which of them is stronger.

And well...

It was a foregone conclusion.

So why did Guel mention Miorine? Well, I think it's because when its for Miorine's sake, Suletta will not hold back. Every time the two of them have fought, Miorine was always the reason Suletta was fighting to begin with. Guel knows that if it's for her, Suletta will go all out. (And...also because he's dramatic....)

This was never an official duel, they aren't at the school, and at this point in the story, the rules regarding dueling have been completely shattered in terms of their importance to the narrative. They're just silly school rules, after all.

Even if Guel had won, I doubt he would've stood in her way. This was entirely for his own sake.

But what I truly love about this scene is that Guel was never going to win.

Suletta at this point in the story has become completely self actualized. She's broken free from the grip her mother has held on her for her entire life, she's finally living for herself, choosing for herself. She's come to terms with the mistakes she has made and is choosing to move forward for the sake of never repeating them. She's reaching out to Miorine, the woman who broke her heart, because she still deeply cares for her. She has come into her own completely and totally.

Guel, similarly, has made his own personal journey. He's put aside his pride, realized what running really means, has faced some of the very worst horrors of war and has similarly chosen to move forward for the protection of the things he holds dear. Without the strict hand of his father, he too, has learned to choose for himself.

But there's still something he's running from. Someone he doesn't realize that he's left behind.

Lauda. He's still running from Lauda. He still hasn't reached Suletta because there's still something weighing him down.

In his rush to keep moving forward, he completely shut Lauda out. Because he's still afraid to face him. He thought he was protecting him by bearing his sin all on his own, but all he's done is left Lauda alone in his grief, and until he faces that, he will never catch up with Suletta.

(Did you notice that the reason Guel lost this final duel was because he lunged forward without thinking?)

(It's his greatest flaw, after all.)

What a fool he was, to think he could ever best Suletta Mercury.

OC-TOBER day 2: New OC

No art today gang but Im going to yap a bit about my newest OC 0836 (see the first day fo the challange to see kinda what they look like, they resemble 0817 in everything but color)

All of my robot OCs are a bit screwed up in the head, all having strange speech deviations and ways of coping both with the abuse they suffered in the circus, and the morbid realization that they all used to be sadistic ais of war, built to kill.

0836 was one of the last built and she mirrors Orpheus a bit (as all of my robots have ties to greek mythological figures too). She has severed herself from what she used to be and calls this malevolent presence in her brain "the monster." which occasionally surfaces as the memories come back and her brain remembers the mission: kill and destroy. and so 0836 feels the need to constantly sing and dance, otherwise the moment she stops, looks back the monster comes out. and she begins to rip people limb from limb.

her speech alteration is the repetition of the last word of each sentence. eg. "I need to sing, sing! Dance, Dance! I must sing or the monster comes out, out!"

probably one of the most mental cases out of all of my bots because the others may be screwed up bigtime but at least they dont actually wholeass kill people

Khari - The giants that ruled the Earth, more than a hundred thousands years ago.

Average height - 3 meters. Life expectancy - about three hundred solar years, with the fifty year old khari being considerate adults. Khari are hermaphrodites, who procreate by laying up to five eggs. The young(Kharling) upbringing is seen as a communal task. Their most notable physical characteristic are four arms. Two upper arms are vary in their size, as those members have, atrophied in the lineages of the castes which were not akin to a manual labour. The lower pair of arms as well as legs, in case if they were severed are known to be capable of slow regeneration, some times with the loss of limbs mobility or sensitivity.

They came aboard the gigantic colony ships - Rakhanas, carrying with themselves knowledge, riches and weapons of mass destruction. They quickly became the sovereigns of the primitive world, partially enslaving its population.

The Khari society is differentiated into several castes. With the four main ones, each being differentiated into over three hundred castes.

The highest being the Ranakh - Nobles, officials, and scholars of the Khari society. The one you can see on the illustration is one of the Lesser lords of the Toakhar House, with its emblem being a white bird on the red Sun, surrounded by four stars representing four families comprising the clan.

Members of this caste usually braid their beards according to the amount of children they have as well, as having one lock on the side of their head according with the importance of their lineage.

The rulers are followed by the Three-Eyed ones - the smallest of the castes. Mystics, tradition keepers and future tellers, they are born with the third eye capable of seeing what the other two can’t. Attributes of this caste are Chuki(Sacred amber beads), as well as braided moustache…

Torratha - The warriors, are trained from their childhood to be proficient with all types of weaponry, with the specific attention being given to the three martial arts - Davan-Dara(Art of the Halberd), Yolbarakh-Dara(Art of the Phosphor Musket). The also trained to wear a power armour(Tayom) - Designed to help them fight in the gravitational environment their massive bodies aren’t used for, with the help of pneumatic joints, and the tube which pumps stimulant drugs into their breathing cavity. Memebers of this caste shave their heads leaving large unbraided moustache.

The fourth caste - are Donth. Up keepers of the flying cities - Enginers, craftsmen, and inventors. They as well work as scientists of the natural scientists, weapon smiths, and transport operators. They aren’t allowed to braid their hair, except for a small topknot up their forehead. The emblem of this caste is an Upside down triangle, or a pyramid - Symbolizing the power of science over the laws of nature.

Workers were the ones to create the Omri - Robots with the Inteligence levels of a child, used to do all the kinds of the work - From cocking and gardening, to being used as a canon fodder, in the wars.

The humans(and other sentient species that became slaves in Khari civilisation) are viewed as the lowest caste - often used to do dirty and dangerous work. They are living in a large communities on the lowest levels of the flying cities - often dying before they reach adulthood by being smashed by the machinery, eaten alive by the animals known as Khro - that inhabit sewer collectors, or simply by falling from the city, while making repairs on outside. Due to being seen as barely above animals, they aren’t allowed to wear clothing, except very rarely a set of protective gear for their working environment…

Lower then them are only Suthan-Au – or a Musk Beast in translation. A genetically modified animal, body of which contains a highly nutritious materials, and being capable to regenerate several times, after the large parts of the meat and fat tissue being removed. They were created for the space travels that could last for centuries… Some sources say that originally they were a civilised race, related to Khari… The beasts still have a peculiar levels of inteligence. They are certainly capable of complex emotions, such as love, grief, greed, or hatred…

WIP Questions Tag

I wasn't actually tagged by anyone, but @owlsandwich opened it up to everybody so I'm giving this a try! Open tag, but also no pressure tags to @somethingclevermahogony , @queen-of-the-weenies and @sarandipitywrites !

We're gonna do my main current WIP, God-Touched, and also a couple I've tabled for a bit due to stress, which are called Gods of Steel, and Nico after the name of the MC, respectively. I copy pasted the questions and I may have missed one or two.

What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

God-Touched: This is more of an overall writing struggle for me, but underwriting/being too concise. I tend to make unnecessary time skips when outlining and not add enough descriptive passages.

Gods of Steel: The world building. I usually enjoy complex world building, but I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this project. I'm taking it slow and building one aspect of it at a time as I'm motivated to do the necessary research, so fingers crossed that works out.

Nico: This one's kinda stupid, but keeping myself from imagining my protagonist as Nico di Angelo. She's completely different in appearance, mannerisms, etc, but I'm a rabid PJO fan and that was my first association with the name.

If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

God-Touched: Definitely something by Imagine Dragons, probably Natural.

Gods of Steel: Probably some kind of epic orchestral thing, I haven't found a specific track yet.

Nico: Song Of Women by the HU and Lzzy Hale. Going purely off of sound and vibes.

What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

God-Touched: Supernatural, Firefly, the King Arthur reincarnated as a space lesbian book (Once and Future) and the book Spellhacker by MK England.

Gods of Steel: This is gonna sound really presumptuous, but I'm trying to make it similar to Dune and the Na'vi Avatar movies.

Nico: Honestly, Tamora Pierce, even though my story is more sci-fi than fantasy. Also slightly the Divergent movie (haven't read the book in years), in that the MC slowly realizes just how much of a dystopia she's actually living in, even though she started out compliant.

What was the first part of your wip that you created?

God-Touched: The general concept of Christian mythology put into a queer science fantasy context.

Gods of Steel: The setting, (humanity's original non-Earth home), and some of its history.

Nico: The idea for the relationship arc between the two main characters. It was the first time I'd ever wanted to write romance, and it was an interesting challenge to come up with how that would play out.

Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

God-Touched: This is a major spoiler, but the main gang ends up adopting an iridescent rainbow baby space dragon. She looks majestic, but is actually a huge derpy goof. She's heavily based on Banana, my little sister's big ginger cat who is not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box

Gods of Steel: The main villains on this story are cyborgs, but some are cyborg animals rather than people. They started out as normal robots, but then got this virus that made them grow flesh, skin and other organic parts, but many of the animal-like ones still have working blades or guns as part of their bodies that they use when hunting humans for food.

Nico: The fauna of the setting for this one is very ice age influenced, the main character has a war mammoth that she's raised from a calf to be her mount and companion.

What part of your wip are you working on rn?

God-Touched: First draft of the first two books, if all goes well it's gonna be a five book series.

Gods of Steel: World Building.

Nico: In my first stage of outlining.

How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

God-Touched: spaceships and hover bikes

Gods of Steel: spaceships, then on foot after all their tech gets infected by the cyborgs.

Nico: Mammoth-back riding.

What are your hopes for your wip?

This is the same for all of them so I'll just do one answer: A devoted fandom that uses my books as inspiration to create their own awesome content. Fanart, fanfic, animatics, those character analysis YouTube videos, anything like that.

Next up for Cartoon Network era of shows, who is your favorite character from each of the 2000-03 half of the Cartoon Cartoons-era shows you've seen like: Sheep in the Big City, Time Squad, Samurai Jack, Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Evil Con Carne, Whatever Happened to Robot Jones, Codename Kids Next Door, and Star Wars Clone Wars 2003?

I realize now this was about CHARACTERS not just the shows in general. Since I did on the first one though, i'll give my opinons AND the characters to split the diffrence. First covering last time Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, The Powerpuff Girls 1998, Ed Edd n Eddy, Mike Lu and Og, and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

In order: DL: Dexter's Dad, easily one of Jeff Bennet's performances and I feel bad I had no idea it was him ands not phil hartman. Johnny Bravo: Carol, as him dating an antelope is just.. such a hilariousl awkward concept, and this is coming from a guy who dosen't have the best cringe comedy tolerance. Chronos MASTER OF TIME and the Nixon Shark are both close seconds. Cow and Chicken: The Big Red Guy: the sohw itself may be mixed but god I love him IAW: Weasel. Easily The Power Puff Girls: Hmmm this is a hard one but due to a thing i'm working on and his general meanace I have to go with him. He had a uniqueness to his apperances: It was always going to be terrifying unless it was with other villians and always something unique and memorable. EEE: Ed. He's truly the best and a meme machine fo ra reason Mike Lu and Og: Mike herself whose a nice mix of ignoarant yet still savy. Courage: The boy himself out of the main cast though pretty much every character here is fantastic. Kitty out of the antagonists, as she's the most tragic, has a truly creepy deisgn and was a gay character long before that was common OKay now onto the next era Sheep in the Big City: This is one I need to rewatch as my recent kablam retrospective (Please check it out), had me rewatch the off beats and I like Willems sense of humor and might ge tit more. The sheep himself is my faviorite, having a great design, likeable demeanor and nice bleats. Time Squad: Another one I need to revisit and a true classic: Simple premise, hilaroius characters and Larry 3000 is easly my faviorite. C3PO if they meant for him to be gay. Samurai Jack: Like most of these in this installment I need to revisit it. One of the best cartoons ever. Havne't checked out the last season, hear mixed things. Faviroite is the scotsman: he's hilaroius, fun to watch and a nice counterpart to jack being just as capable but everything our boy isn't. Billy and Mandy: A comedy classic. A bit too mean for i'ts own good sometimes, but a truely great horror comedy most of the time: creative premise, truly stacked cast of side characters, and richard steven horvitz greatest performance til lhelluva boss (zim is VERY close to billy though. ) Faviorite character is asking a lot of me, but I have to go with my childhood faviorite, Dracula. He could've aged poorly and shoudl have, he is making fun of blaxplotatoin.. but he never feels like a black sterotype, just a cranky throughly weird old man Evil Con Carne: One I need to revisit, yes AGAIN, and a show I always felt was undereatted. It just never took off the way Billy and Mandy did and you can tell maxwell atoms still had affection for it given he both ported skar over to billy and mandy (A really great decision and one I dearly love) and brought hector and ghastly back for one last hurrah. It was also one of my first exposures to Grey DeLise and Armin Shimmerman (Though I jus tlearned about the latter), and one of Phil LaMarr's best roles. With that last qualifier, Hector is my faviorite: his pomoposity, voice and being shoved in a bear are all great.

Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?: Need to revisit it you know the drill. Has a great title character, also my faviorite, concept but I don't remember it a ton. KND: Easily my third faviorite Cartoon Network show. A gloriously built world that's both nicely detailed and approriately childish, and a show that evolved from a pretty one note premise to a truly wonderfully thought out masterpiece that parodied just about everything with a nice chunk of x-men refrences. Faviorite is Numbah 2. Hoagie is just the best and his solo adventures tended to be some of the best of the series.

Clone Wars (Genndy's Version): Another one that, say it with me now "I need to revisit" and a true classic. Beautifully animated, great to watch. I will say the second season isn't quite AS good, trying a bit harder to be a lead int oa movie loosing the sheer flexiblity and cretivity season 1 had. I mean season 1 has mace windu going bare fisted monk on a bunch of droids alongside the ongoing arcs about ventress and whatever his name was. It also made general grevous a massive disapointment in the films.
