أللَّهُمَّ يَا مُنْتَهَى مَطْلَبِ الْحَاجَاتِ

al-laahum-ma yaa muntahaa mat'-labil-h'aajaat

1.O God, O ultimate object of needs!

وَيَا مَنْ عِنْدَه نَيْلُ الطَّلِبَاتِ

wa yaa man i'ndahoo nay-lut'-t'alibaat

2.O He through whom requests are attained!

وَيَا مَنْ لا يَبِيْعُ نِعَمَهُ بالأثْمَانِ

wa yaa mal-laa yabeeu' nia'mahoo bil-ath-maan

3.O He whose favours are not bought by prices!

وَيَا مَنْ لا يُكَدِّرُ عَطَايَاهُ بِالامْتِنَانِ

wa yaa mal-laa yukad-diru a't'aayaahoo biiam-tinaan

4.O He who does not muddy His gifts by the imposition of obligations!

وَيَا مَنْ يُسْتَغْنَى بِهِ وَلاَ يُسْتَغْنَى عَنْهُ

wa yaa may-yus-tagh-naa bihee wa laa yus-tagh-naa a'n-h

5.O He along with whom nothing is needed and without whom nothing can be done!

وَيَا مَنْ يُرْغَبُ إلَيْهِ وَلا يُرْغَبُ عَنْهُ.

wa yaa may-yur-ghabu ilay-hee wa laa yur-ghabu a'n-h

6.O He toward whom desire is ever directed and never turned away!

وَيَا مَنْ لا تُفنى خَزَآئِنَهُ الْمَسَائِلُ

wa yaa mal-laa tuf-nee khazaaa-inahul-masaaa-il

7.O He whose treasuries cannot be exhausted by demands!

وَيَا مَنْ لاَ تُبَدِّلُ حِكْمَتَهُ الْوَسَائِلُ.

wa yaa mal-laa tubad-dilu h'ik-matahul-wasaaa-il

8.O He whose wisdom cannot be altered by any means!

وَيَا مَنْ لاَ تَنْقَطِعُ عَنْهُ حَوَائِجُ الْمُحْتَاجِينَ

wa yaa mal-laa tanqat'iu' a'n-hoo h'awaaa-ijul-muh'-taajeen

9.O He from whom the needs of the needy are never cut off!

وَيَا مَنْ لاَ يُعَنِّيهِ دُعَاءُ الدَّاعِينَ

wa yaa mal-laa yua'n-neehee dua'aaa-ud-daae'en

10.O He who is not distressed by the supplications of the supplicators!

تَمَدَّحْتَ بِالْغَنَاءِ عَنْ خَلْقِكَ وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْغِنَى عَنْهُمْ

tamad-dah'-ta bil-ghanaaa-i a'n khal-qik wa anta ah-lul-ghinaa a'n-hum-

11.You hast lauded Yourself for having no need for Your creatures, and it suits You to have no need for them,

وَنَسَبْتَهُمْ إلَى الفَقْرِ وَهُمْ أَهْلُ الْفَقْرِ إلَيْكَ.

wa nasab-tahum ilaal-faq-r wa hum ah-lul-faq-ri ilay-k

12.and You hast attributed to them poverty, and it suits them to be poor toward You.

فَمَنْ حَاوَلَ سَدَّ خَلَّتِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ

faman h'aawala sad-da khal-latihee min i'ndik

13.So he who strives to remedy his lack through what is with You

وَرَامَ صَرْفَ الْفَقْر عَنْ نَفْسِهِ بِكَ فَقَدْ طَلَبَ حَاجَتَهُ

wa raama s'ar-fal-faq-ri a'n-naf-sihee bik faqad t'alaba h'aajatahoo

14.and wishes to turn poverty away from himself through You has sought his need

فِي مَظَانِّها وَأَتَى طَلِبَتَهُ مِنْ وَجْهِهَا

fee? maz'aaan-nihaa wa ataa t'ilabatahoo miw-waj-hihaa

15.in the most likely place and come to his request from the right quarter.

وَمَنْ تَوَجَّهَ بِحَاجَتِهِ إلَى أَحَد مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ جَعَلَهُ سَبَبَ نُجْحِهَا

wa man tawj-jaha bih'aajatiheee ilaaa ah'adim-min khal-qika aw jaa'lahoo sababa nuj-h'ihaa

16.But he who turns in his need toward one of Your creatures or assigns the cause of its being granted

دُونَكَ فَقَدْ تَعَرَّضَ لِلْحِرْمَانِ

doonaka faqad t-taa'r-raz''a lil-h'ir-maan

17.to other than You, has exposed himself to deprivation

وَاسْتَحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَوْتَ الاِحْسَانِ

was-tah'aq-qa min i'ndika faw-tal-ih'-saan

18.and deserves to miss Your beneficence.

أللَّهُمَّ وَلِي إلَيْكَ حَاجَةٌ قَـدْ قَصَّرَ عَنْهَـا جُهْدِي

al-laahum-ma wa leee ilay-ka h'aajah qad qas'-s'ara a'n-haa juh-dee

19.O God, I have a need of You: my exertion has fallen short of it

وَتَقَطَّعَتْ دُونَهَا حِيَلِي

wa taqat'-t'aa't d-doonahaa h'eealee

20.and my stratagems have been cut back before reaching it.

وَسَوَّلَتْ لِيْ نَفْسِي رَفْعَهَا إلَى مَنْ يَرْفَعُ حَوَائِجَهُ إلَيْكَ

wa saw-walat lee naf-see raf-a'haaa ilaa may-yar-fau' h'awaaa-ijahooo ilay-ka

21.My soul induced me to present it to him who presents his needs to You

وَلاَ يَسْتَغْنِي فِي طَلِبَاتِهِ عَنْكَ

wa laa yas-tagh-nee fee t'alibaatihee a'nka

22.and can do nothing without You in his requests,

وَهِيَ زَلَّةٌ مِنْ زَلَلِ الْخَاطِئِينَ

wa hee zal-latum-min zalalil-khaat'i-een

23.but this is one the slips of the offenders,

وَعَثْرَةٌ مِنْ عَثَراتِ الْمُذْنِبِينَ

wa a'th-ratum-min a'tharaatil-mud'-nibeen

24.one of the stumbles of the sinners!

ثُمَّ انْتَبَهْتُ بِتَذْكِيرِكَ لِي مِنْ غَفْلَتِي

thum-ma antabah-tu bitad'-keerika lee min ghaf-latee

25.Then through Your reminding me, I was aroused from my heedlessness,

وَنَهَضْتُ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ مِنْ زَلَّتِي

wa nahaz''-tu bitaw-feeqika min zal-ltee

26.through Your giving success, I stood up from my slip,

وَ رَجَعتُ وَنَكَصْتُ بِتَسْـدِيدِكَ عَنْ عَثْـرَتِي

wa rajaa'-tu wa nakas'-tu bitas-deedika a'n a'th-ratee

27.and through Your pointing the way, I returned and withdrew from my stumble.

وَقُلْتُ: سُبْحَانَ رَبّي كَيْفَ يَسْأَلُ مُحْتَاجٌ مُحْتَاجـاً

wa qul-tu: sub-h'aana rab-bee kay-fa yas-alu muh'-taajum-muh'-taajaa?

28.I said: Glory be to my Lord! How can the needy ask from the needy?

وَأَنَّى يَرْغَبُ مُعْدِمٌ إلَى مُعْدِم؟

wa an-naa yarghabu mua'-dimun ilaa mua'-dimin?

29.How can the destitute beseech the destitute?

فَقَصَدْتُكَ يا إلهِي بِالرَّغْبَةِ

faqas'at-tuka yaaa ilaahee bir-ragh-bah

30.So I went straight to You, my God, in beseeching,

وَأَوْفَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ رَجَائِي بِالثِّقَةِ بِكَ

wa aw-fat-tu a'lay-ka rajaaa-ee bith-thiqati bik

31.and I sent You my hope with trust in You.

وَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّ كَثِيرَ مَا أَسْأَلُكَ يَسِيرٌ فِي وُجْدِكَ

wa a'lim-tu an-na katheera maaa as-aluka yaseerun fee wuj-dik

32.I came to know that the many I request from You are few before Your wealth,

وَأَنَّ خَطِيرَ مَا أَسْتَوْهِبُكَ حَقِيرٌ فِيْ وُسْعِكَ

wa an-na khat'eera maaa as-taw-hibuka h'aqeerun fee wus-i'k

33.the weighty I ask from You is vile before Your plenty;

وَأَنَّ كَرَمَكَ لاَ يَضِيقُ عَنْ سُؤَال أحَد

wa an-na karamaka laa yaz''eequ a'n soo-aali ah'ad

34.Your generosity is not constrained by anyone's asking,

وَأَنَّ يَدَكَ بِالْعَطايا أَعْلَى مِنْ كُلِّ يَد.

wa an-na yadaka bil-a't'aayaaa aa'-laa min kul-li yad

35.Your hand is higher in bestowing gifts than every hand!

أللَهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَاحْمِلْنِي بِكَرَمِكَ عَلَى التَّفَضُّلِ

al-laahum-ma fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih wa ah'-mil-nee bikaramika a'laat-tafaz''-z''ul

36.O God, so bless Muhammad and His Household, take me through their generosity to Your gratuitous bounty

وَلاَ تَحْمِلْنِي بِعَدْلِكَ عَلَى الاسْتِحْقَاقِ

wa laa tah'-mil-nee bia'd-lika a'laalis-tih'-qaaq

37.And take me not through Your justice to what I deserve!

فَما أَنَا بِأَوَّلِ رَاغِبِ رَغِبَ إلَيْكَ فَأَعْطَيْتَهُ وَهُوَ يَسْتَحِقُّ الْمَنْعَ

famaaa ana biw-wali raaghibir-raghiba ilay-ka faaa'-t'ay-tahoo wa huwa yas-tah'iq-qul-man-a'-

38.I am not the first beseecher to beseech You and You bestowed upon him while he deserved withholding,

وَلاَ بِأَوَّلِ سَائِل سَأَلَكَ فَأَفْضَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَسْتَوْجِبُ الْحِرْمَانَ.

wa laa biw-wali saaa-ilin saalaka faaf-z''al-ta a'lay-hee wa huwa yas-taw-jibul-h'ir-maan

39.nor am I the first to ask from You and You wast bounteous toward him while he merited deprivation.

أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ

al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih

40.O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household,

وَكُنْ لِدُعَائِي مُجِيباً وَمِنْ نِدائِي قَرِيباً

wa kul-lidua'aa-ee mujeebaa wa min-nidaaa-ee qareebaa

41.respond to my supplication, come near my call,

وَلِتَضَرُّعِي رَاحِماً وَلِصَوْتِي سَامِعاً

wa litaz''ar-rue'e raah'imaa wa lis'aw-tee saamia'a

42.have mercy on my pleading, listen to my voice,

وَلاَ تَقْطَعْ رَجَائِي عَنْكَ وَلا تَبُتَّ سَبَبِي مِنْكَ

wa laa taq-t'aa' rajaaa-ee a'nk wa laa tabut-ta sababee mink

43.cut not short my hope for You, sever not my thread to You,

وَلاَ تُوَجِّهْنِي فِي حَاجَتيْ هَذِهِ وَغَيْرِهَا إلى سِوَاكَ

wa laa tuwaj-jih-nee fee h'aajatee hd'ihee waghay-rihaaa ilaa siwaak

44.turn not my face in this my need, and other needs, away from You,

وَتَوَلَّنِي بِنُجْحِ طَلِبَتِي وَقَضاءِ حَاجَتِي

wa tawal-lanee binuj-hee t'alibatee wa qaz''aaa-i h'aajatee

45.attend for my sake to the fulfillment of my request, the granting of my need,

وَنَيْلِ سُؤْلِي قَبْلَ زَوَالِي عَنْ مَوْقِفِي هَذَا

wa nay-li soo-lee qab-la zawaalee a'm-maw-qifee had'aa

46.and the attainment of what I have asked before I leave this place

بِتَيسِيرِكَ لِيَ الْعَسِيْرَ وَحُسْنِ تَقْدِيرِكَ لِي فِي جَمِيعِ الأُمُورِ.

bitay-seerika leeal-a'seer wa h'us-ni taq-deerika lee fee jameei'l-umoor

47.through Your making easy for me the difficult and Your excellent ordainment for me in all affairs!

وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ صَلاَةً دَائِمَةً نَامِيَةً لاَ انْقِطَاعَ لأِبَدِهَا

wa s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih s'alaatan daaa-imatan-naameeah laa anqit'aaa' liabadihaa

48.Bless Muhammad and his Household with a permanent, ever-growing blessing, whose perpetuity has no cutting off

وَلا مُنْتَهَى لأِمَدِهَا وَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ عَوْناً لِيْ وَسَبَباً لِنَجَاحِ طَلِبَتِي إنَّكَ وَاسِعٌ كَرِيْمٌ.

wa laa muntahaa liamadihaa waj-a'l d'alika a'w-nal-lee wa sababal-linajaahee t'alibatee in-naka waasiu'n kareem

49.and whose term knows no limit, and make that a help to me and a cause for the granting of my request! You art Boundless, Generous!

وَمِنْ حَاجَتِي يَا رَبِّ كَذَا وَكَذَا

wa min h'aajatee yaa rab-bi kad'aa wakad'aa

50.And of my needs,my Lord, are such and such

وَتَذْكُرُ حَاجَتَكَ ثمّ تَسْجُـدُ وَتَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِكَ:

.(Here you should state your needs, then prostrate yourself, and say in your prostration:)

فَضْلُكَ آنَسَنِي وَإحْسَانُكَ دَلَّنِي

faz''-luka aaanasanee wa ih'-saanuka dal-lanee

.Your bounty has comforted me and Your beneficence has shown the way,

فَأَسْأَلُكَ بِكَ وَبِمُحَمَّـد وَآلِهِ صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيْهمْ أَنْ لاَ تَرُدَّنِي خَائِباً.

faas-aluka bika wa bimuh'am-madiw-wa aaalihee s'alawaatuka a'lay-him al-laa tarud-danee khaaa-ibaa

.So I ask You by You and by Muhammad and his Household (Your blessings be upon them) that You sendest me not back in disappointment!

Four Lions - A True British Comedy

Title – Four Lions (2010)

Director – Chris Morris

Cast – Riz Ahmed, Nigel Lindsay, Kayvan Novak, Arsher Ali, Adeel Akhtar

Plot – Four Lions is a mockumentary-esk-style film that follows the story of four friends trying to become Jihad soldiers. In the process, their own idiocracy guides them to a misguided interpretation of the word, leading them to believe they have to become suicide bombers to make it to heaven; in other words, become terrorists. Led by Omar (Riz Ahmed), these comrades undergo an unconventional journey to finding their place through religion.

Four Lions examines where the roots that drive people to such extreme acts like terrorism originate from. With the use of comedy, Chris Morris’ characterization of the comrades as comically inept brings into dispute the integrity and coherence of these extremist ideologies. This leads to the question of why anyone would ever do something as absurd as this. But once again, Morris challenges how stereotypes can contribute to the misunderstanding of complex issues. By using satire to portray terrorists, Four Lions provokes the audience to analyse different narratives presented to them by the media. This film also addresses the danger of not being accepted by the community you live in; this type of loneliness can lead people into violent outrages. 

“I think I'm confused, but I'm not sure!” - Waj (Kayvan Novak)

This quote from Waj expresses what I believe to be the overall impression of the four friends. Each character is struggling one way or another with their religious ambivalence, leaving them all a little bit confused. Waj especially comes off as mentally challenged, so one can easily pity his character as just being manipulated into believing he wants to be a suicide bomber. One of the reasons this film works so well as a comedy is because of how the comrades interact with each other. They are an extremely incompetent bunch who can’t agree on the target for their attack - being stuck on deciding between their Mosque, a Boots Pharmacy, or the Internet. The last one doesn’t even make sense because how can one bomb the Internet? Their inability to make decisions as a group makes one ponder as to how they think they would ever be able to commit this act of terrorism successfully. The group's unofficial leader, Omar, is seen struggling between his misguided beliefs and his sense of humanity. Omar attempts to guide the group into what he believes will guarantee them a place in Heaven. This role is brilliantly played by Riz Ahmed, who actually received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor in the film Sound of Metal (Darius Marder, 2019). 

The film Four Lions resembles a mockumentary style, giving this feeling that we, the audience, are involved in their idiotic scheme. The screenplay demonstrates Chris Morris, Jesse Armstrong, and Sam Bain's ability to balance out the humour and seriousness of the topic at hand. Jesse Armstrong is also the creator of Succession (2018), which won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series on the 7th of January, 2024. Succession is a more serious-toned comedy than Four Lions, which also incorporates dark humour and satire. While Four Lions has loads of hilarious moments, there are certain moments that really address the severity of what these four friends want to go through. Morris successfully uses comedy to shed light on this taboo topic. These moments bring the audience back into the reality of the consequences of such actions. This film is able to incorporate comedy not only through dialogue but also through camera movement. Four Lions utilizes camera movement to invoke humour to its fullest potential, notably with panning from one character saying or doing something to another character's reaction to what was just done. This effect only further adds to the value of comedy as it permits you to see raw, “natural” reactions. 

Concluding Thoughts – Overall, Four Lions encapsulates a side of British culture that is not often represented in the media. Through satirical comedy, Chris Morris brings up a prevalent issue of how (typically) young British men of Muslim faith get roped into these distorted extremist views. This film includes screenwriters and actors who have gone on to achieve highly respected awards and nominations. I see this film as authentically British and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys dry humour!

Focus on the great tragedy that took place on this day and avoid attending to your business/employment matters, laughing and unnecessary discussions.

Recite Salawát as many times possible.

When meeting fellow brothers, condole them in the following words: image

اعْظَمَ ٱللَّهُ اجُورَنَا بِمُصَابِنَا بِٱلْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

a`¨ama all¡hu uj£ran¡ bimu¥¡bin¡ bil¦usayni `alayhi alssal¡m

May Alláh make our reward and your reward great, for our grief for Hussain, peace be on him.

May He place us and you from those who help his cause with His representative, the guided Imám from the family of Muhammad, peace be on them.

وَجَعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِنَ ٱلطَّالِبِينَ بِثَارِهِ

wa ja`alan¡ wa iyy¡kum min al§§¡lib¢na bitha'rih¢

مَعَ وَلِيِّهِ ٱلإِمَامِ ٱلْمَهْدِيِّ مِنَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

ma`a waliyyih¢ al-im¡mi almahdiyyi min ¡li mu¦ammadin `alayhimu alssal¡m

Recite Sura al-Ikhlás 1000 times, or as many times as possible.

Say as many times as possible:'Allahumal A'n Qatalatal Husayn Wa Awlaadihee Wa Ashaabihee'

O Allah condemn and lay a curse upon the killers of Husayn (as), his family and friends

& say 'Yaa Laytanee Kuntu Maakum Fa afoozo maakum Fawzan Azeema '

Would that we were with you So that we could also share the great accomplishment with you

فَیَا لَیْتَنِیْ کُنْتُ مَعَکُمْ فَاَفُوْزَ مَعَکُمْ فَوْزاً عَظِیْما

Recite the following Salaat, dua’as and Ziyaarat, after Fajr Salaat, but before Zuhr Salaat.

-Salaat of Four raka`áts, divided into two prayers, in the following manner:

a) First prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra109 al-Káfirún In the second raka`a, after Súra al-Hamd, recite Súra al-Ikhlás.

b) Second prayer: In the first raka`a, after Súra al- Hamd, recite Súra 33 al-Ahzáb . In the second raka`a, after Súra al-Hamd, recite Súra 63 al-Munáfiqún

In remembrance of the time Imam Husain (as) had the bloodied body of his 6 month old Infant son Ali Asgar in his arms & hesitated while walking towards the Tents to hand the body over to the mother !

a )Take a few steps Forward and then Retrace your steps to where you began .

Say the following while you are moving forward and backward ( ie 7 times )

Verily we are Allah’s and verily unto Him we return. We are happy with His will and carry out His command

INNAA LILLAAHI WA INNAA ILAYHI RAAJI-O ‘ONA RIZ”AN BI-QAZ”AAA-IHEEWA TASLEEMAN LI-AMRIHEE

b) Then go back to your place where you are standing and recite: - (Arabic image file)

O Allah! Condemn and punish the licentious profligates who make the life of Thy Messenger miserable; and waged was against Thy close friends, and worshipped others, (but ) not Thee, deemed lawful (that which) Thou had forbidden, bring a curse upon their leaders, followers, on those who were in them, secretly or distinctly were hand in glove with them, or condoning their (mis) deeds. A great many curses.

O my Allah, bid to bring joy and happiness quickly for “Aali Muhammad”, (the children of Muhammad), bestow Thy blessings on him and on them, save them from the dangerous clutches of the undercover two-timers, and the obstinate disbelievers; open for them the doors of “the beginning”, a facility to put in practice gentleness, kindness and fairplay; create favorable conditions for them to make life full of love and thought, cheerful, free of care, as early as possible, on Thy authority let them have full control over Thy enemies, to help, rescue and defend (mankind).

اَللّٰهُمَّ عَذِّبِ الْـفَجَرَةَ الَّذِيْنَ شَاقُّوْا رَسُوْلَـكَ وَ حَارَبُوْا اَوْلِيَآئَكَ وَ عَبَدُوْا غَيْرَكَ وَ اسْتَحَلُّوْا مَـحَارَمَكَ وَ الْعَنِ الْقَادَةَ وَ الْاَتْبَاعَ وَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ فَخَبَّ وَ اَوْضَعَ مَعَهُمْ اَوْرَضِىَ بِفِعْلِهِمْ لَعْنًا كَثِيْرًا

DOA ORANG TUA UNTUK ANAKNYA

ثَلاَثُ دَعَوَاتٍ لاَ تُرَدُّ دَعْوَةُ الْوَالِدِ ، وَدَعْوَةُ الصَّائِمِ وَدَعْوَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ Artinya: “Tidak ada doa yang tidak tertolak yaitu doa orang tua, doa orang yang berpuasa dan doa seorang musafir.” [HR. Al Baihaqi dalam Sunan Al Kubro. Syaikh Al Albani mengatakan hadits ini shahih]. Keterangan: Dalam dua hadits di atas maksudnya umum, yang berarti semua doa orang tua, apakah itu doa kebaikan maupun keburukan. Jadi kita sebagai orang tua harus berhati hati dalam berdoa atau mengucapkan sesuatu ke anak, karena ucapan orang tua kepada anaknya adalah doa. Kumpulan Doa Orang Tua Untuk Anaknya Berdasarkan Al Quran dan Hadis doa orang tua untuk anaknya Berikut kami tuliskan doa orang tua kepada anaknya yang kami ambil dari Ayat Al Quran dan hadis sahih. Doa Nabi Zakaria Meminta Anak Yang Baik رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةٗ طَيِّبَةًۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ Bacaan Latin: Rabbiy habliy mil ladunka dzurriyyatan thayyibatan innaka sami’ud du’a’ Artinya: “Ya Tuhanku, berilah aku dari sisi Engkau seorang anak yang baik. Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Pendengar doa” [QS. Ali-Imran: 38] Keterangan: Ini adalah doa pertama orang tua kepada anaknya (sebelum anak lahir), seperti yang di contohkan oleh Nabi Zakariya Alaihi salam, yang setelah doa tersebut, maka Allah kabulkan dengan memberinya anak yang salih dan seorang Nabi juga yaitu Nabi Yahya Alaihi salam. Doa Agar Anak Dijauhkan Dari Kesyirikan رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الأَصْنَامَ Artinya: “Ya Tuhanku, jadikanlah negeri ini (Mekah), negeri yang aman, dan jauhkanlah aku beserta anak cucuku daripada menyembah berhala-berhala.” [QS. Ibrahim: 35] Baca juga: Doa Untuk Kedua Orang Tua Yang Sudah Meninggal. Doa Agar Anak Selalu Mendirikan Sholat رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ Bacaan Latin: “Rabbij’alniy muqimash shalati wa min dzurriyyati rabbana wa taqabbal du’a” Artinya: “Ya Tuhanku, jadikanlah aku dan anak cucuku orang-orang yang tetap mendirikan sholat, ya Tuhan kami, perkenankanlah doaku” [QS. Ibrahim: 40] Doa Agar Anak dan Cucu kita Beriman juga Bertakwa رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٖ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا Bacaan Latin: “Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dzurriyyatina qurrata a’yun waj ‘alna lil muttaqiina imama” Artinya: “Ya Tuhan kami, anugerahkanlah kepada kami isteri-isteri kami dan keturunan kami sebagai penyejuk hati (kami), dan jadikanlah kami imam bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa.” [QS. al-Furqan: 74] Doa Agar Anak Memiliki Pemahaman Agama yang Benar اَللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ فِى الدِّيْنِ وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيْلَ Bacaan Latin: “Allahumma faqqih hu fid diini wa ‘allimhut ta’wiila”. Artinya: “Ya Allah, berikanlah kefahaman baginya dalam urusan agama, dan ajarkanlah dia ta’wil (tafsir ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an).” [HR.Bukhari]. Doa Agar Anak Diberikan Perlindungan oleh Allah Swt أُعِيْذُهُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ Bacaan Latin: “U’iidzu hu bikalimaatillahit taammati min kulli syaithaniw wahaammatiw wamin kulli ‘ainil laammah” Artinya: “Aku memohon perlindungan baginya (sebut nama anak) dengan kalimat-kalimat Allah yang sempurna, dari semua godaan setan dan binatang pengganggu serta dari pandangan mata buruk.” [HR. Abu Daud 3371, dan dishahihkan al-Albani, diriwayatkan pula oleh Bukhari dan Tirmidzi”] Doa Orang Tua Untuk Anaknya Dalam Bahasa Indonesia Dalam Islam semuanya mudah, karena memang Agama ini mudah, tapi bukan berarti kita menggampangkan, maksudnya dalam agama Islam, jika ada udzur syar’i yang tidak memungkinkan kita untuk melakukan amalan secara sempurna, maka kita bisa melakukan amalan tersebut semampu kita. Seperti dalam Doa ini, jika kita tidak bisa membaca tulisan Arab atau pun belum hafal doa tersebut, maka bisa kita berdoa dengan bahasa ibu, atau bahasa yang kita pahami. Kita bisa berdoa kepada Allah Azza wajalla dengan bahasa Indonesia dan meminta dengan kebaikan dunia dan akhirat.

Allahu laa ilaaha illaa huwal-hayyul-qoyyum, laa ta`khuzuhuu sinatuw wa laa na`uum, lahuu maa fis-samaawati wa maa fil-ardh, man zallazii yasyfa'u 'indahuu illaa bi`iznih, ya'lamu maa baina aidiihim wa maa kholfahum, wa laa yuhiithuuna bisyai`im min 'ilmihii illaa bimaa sya`, wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samaawaati wal-ardh, wa laa ya`uuduhu hifzhuhuma, wa huwal 'aliyyul 'azhiim.

Aamanar-rasuulu bimaa unzila ilaihi mir robbihii wal-mu`minuun, kullun aamana billaahi wa malaa`ikatihii wa kutubihii wa rusulih, laa nufarriqu baina ahadim mir rusulih, wa qooluu sami'naa wa atho'naa ghufroonaka robbanaa wa ilaikal-mashiir.

Laa yukallifullohu nafsan illaa wus'ahaa, lahaa maa kasabat wa 'alaiha maktasabat, robbana laa tu`aakhiznaa in nasiina au akhtho`na, robbana wa laa tahmil 'alaina ishrang kama hamaltahuu 'alallaziina ming qoblinaa, robbanaa wa laa tuhammilna maa laa thaaqata lanaa bih, wa'fu 'annaa, waghfir lanaa, war-hamnaa, anta maulaanaa fanshurnaa 'alal-qoumil-kaafiriin.

Qulillahumma malikal mulki tu’til mulka man tasyau wa tanzi’ul mulka mimman tasyau, wa tu’izzu man tasyau wa tudzillu man tasyau, biyadikal khayru innaka ‘ala kulli syay-in qadir. Tulijul layla fin nahari wa tulijun nahara fil layli, wa tukhrijul hayya minal mayyiti wa tukhrijul mayyita minal hayyi wa tarzuqu man tasyau bighayri hisab.

Lau anzalna haazal-qur`aana 'alaa jabalil laro`aitahuu khoosyi'am mutashoddi'am min khosy-yatillaah, wa tilkal-amsaalu nadhribuha lin-naasi la'allahum yatafakkarun. huwallohullazii laa ilaaha illaa huw, 'aalimul-ghoibi wasy-syahaadah, huwar-rohmaanur-rohiim. huwallohullazii laa ilaaha illa huwal-malikul qudduusus-salaamul mu`minul muhaiminul 'aziizul jabbaarul mutakabbir, subhaanallohi 'ammaa yusyrikuun. huwallohul-khooliqul-baari`ul-mushowwiru lahul asmaaa`ul-husnaa, yusabbihu lahuu maa fis-samaawaati wal-ardh, wa huwal-'aziizul-hakiim.

Rabbana Aatina mil ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi lana min amrina rosyada. Rabbana atina fiddunya hasanah, wa fil akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adzabannar. Rabbighfirli, warhamni, wajburni, warfa'ni, warjukni, wahdini, wa'afinii, wa'fuannii. Rabbighfirli waliwalidayya warhamhuma kama rabbayani shaghira. Rabbigh firli wahab li mulkan layanbaghi liakhadin minba'di. Innaka antal wahhab. Rabbighfir warham wa anta khairur raahimiin.

Audzubillahiminasyaitan nirrajim, A'udzubillahis sami il 'alim minasysyaithonirrojim, A’uudzu bi kalimaatillaahittaammaati min syarri maa kholaq. bismillahi tawakkaltu alallah wala haula wala quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adziim. Innallaha alimul ghoibis samawati wal-ard, Innahu alimun bizatish shudur. Hasbiyallah laa ilaaha illa huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul 'arsyil 'azhim.

Audzu bi kalimaatillahit taammati min kulli syaithonin wa haammatin wa min kulli 'ainin laammatin.

A’uudzu bi kalimaatillaahittaammaati min syarri maa kholaq. (Bismillahilladzi la yadhurru ma'asmihi syai'un fil ardhi wa laa fis sama'i wa huwas sami'ul 'alim.3x) Ya hayyu ya qoyyum bi rahmatika astaghiits, ashlih lii sya’nii kullahu wa laa takilnii ilaa nafsii thorfata ‘ainin. Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakil, ni'mal maula wa ni'man nashir, La haula wala quwwata illa billahil aliyil adzim. Hasbiyallah laa ilaaha illa huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul 'arsyil 'azhim.

Rabbi auzi' nii an asykuro ni'matakal latii an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala waalidayya wa an a'mala shoolihan tardloohu wa adkhilnii birohmatika fii 'ibaadikash sholihiin. Rabbi anzilni munzalan mubarokan, wa anta khoirul munzilin. Rabbana atmim lana nurana waghfirlana, innaka 'ala kulli syai'in qadir. Rabbana atina mil ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi lana min amrina rasyada. Rabbana atina fiddunya hasanah, wa fil akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adzabannar. Rabbighfirli, warhamni, wajburni, warfa'ni, warjukni, wahdini, wa'afinii, wa'fuannii. Rabbighfirli waliwalidayya warhamhuma kama rabbayani shaghira. Rabbigh firli wahab li mulkan layanbaghi liakhadin minba'di. Innaka antal wahhab. Rabbighfir warham wa anta khairur raahimiin.

Audzubillahiminasyaitan nirrajim, A'udzubillahis sami il 'alim minasysyaithonirrojim, A’uudzu bi kalimaatillaahit taammaati min syarri maa kholaq. bismillahi tawakkaltu alallah wala haula wala quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adziim. Innallaha alimul ghoibis samawati wal-ard, Innahu alimun bizatish shudur. Hasbiyallah laa ilaaha illa huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul 'arsyil 'azhim.

A’uudzu bi kalimaatillaahit taammaati min syarri maa kholaq. (Bismillahilladzi la yadhurru ma'asmihi syai'un fil ardhi wa laa fis sama'i wa huwas sami'ul 'alim.3x) Ya hayyu ya qoyyum bi rahmatika astaghiits, ashlih lii sya’nii kullahu wa laa takilnii ilaa nafsii thorfata ‘ainin. Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakil, ni'mal maula wa ni'man nashir, La haula wala quwwata illa billahil aliyil adzim. Hasbiyallah laa ilaaha illa huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul 'arsyil 'azhim.

Tradition of the Cloak A narrative of an incident where the Prophet Muhammad (S) assembled Hasan (as), Hussain (as), Ali (as), and Fatima al-Zahra (sa) under his cloak

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli ala muhammadin wa ali muhammad

O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismi allahi alrrahmini alrrahimi

In the Name of Allāh,the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

عَنْ فاطِمَةَ الزَّهْراءِ عَلَيْهَا اَلسلام بِنْتِ رَسُول ِاللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ أَنَّها قالَتْ :

an faat'imataz-zah-raaa-i (alayhas-salaam) binti rasoolil-laahi (S) qaalat :

Fatimatuz-Zahra, the daughter of the Prophet (s), peace be on them, is to have thus related ( an event ) :

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ أَبِي رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ فِي بَعْضِ الاْيَّامِ فَقالَ:

dakhala a'lay-ya abee rasoolul-laahi (S) fee baa'-z'il ay-yaami faqaala :

My father, the Prophet (s) of Allah, came to my house one day and said to me:

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا فاطِمَةُ

as-salaamu a'lay-ki yaa faat'imah

"Peace be on you, Fatimah"

فَقُلْتُ: عَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ

faqul-tu : a'lay-kas-salaam

I replied : "And upon you be peace"

قالَ: إِنِّي أَجِدُ فِي بَدَنِي ضُعْفا

qaala : in-neee ajidu fee badanee z'ua'-faan'

Then he said : "I feel weakness in my body"

فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أُعِيذُكَ بِاللّهِ يَا أَبَتاهُ مِنَ الضُّعْفِ

faqul-tu lahooo : ue'ed'uka bil-laahi yaa abataahoo manaz'-z'ua'fi

I said : "May Allah protect you from weakness, father"

فَقَالَ: ”يَا فَاطِمَةُ! ٱئْتِينِي بِٱلْكِسَاءِ ٱلْيَمَانِيِّ فَغَطِّينِي بِهِ.

faqaala : yaa faat'imatu ee-teenee bil-kasaaa-il-yamaanee faghat-teenee bihi

He said : "Fatimah, please bring the Yemeni cloak and cover me with it"

فَأَتَيْتُهُ بالْكِساءِ الْـيَمانِي فَغَطَّيْتُهُ بِهِ

fa atay-tuhoo bil-kisaaa-il-yamaanee faghat-tay-tuhoo bihi

So, I brought the Yemeni cloak and covered him with it.

وَصرْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ وَإِذا وَجْهُهُ يَتَلَأَلَؤُ

wa s'ur-tu anz'uru ilay-hee wa id'aa waj-hahoo yatal-lau

Then, I looked at him and saw that his face was shining

كَأَنَّهُ الْبَدْرُ فِي لَيْلَة تَمامِهِ وَكَمالِهِ

kaan-nahul-bad-ru fee lay-lati tamaamihee wa kamaalih

like a full moon with its glory and splendor

فَمَا كانَتْ إِلاّ ساعَةً وَإِذا بِوَلَدِيَ الْحَسَنِ عليه السلام قَدْ أَقْبَلَ

famaa kaanat il-laa saaa'taw-wa id'aa biwaladiyal-h'asani (alayhis-salaam) qad aq-bala

After a while, my son Hasan came in

وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّاهُ

wa qaala : as-salaamu a'lay-ki yaaa um-maah

and said : "Peace be on you, mother"

فَقُلتُ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِي وَثَمَرَةَ فُؤَادِي

faqul-tu : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa qur-rata a'y-nee wa thamarata fuaadee

I replied : "And upon you be peace, O light of my eyes, and the delight of my heart"

فَقَالَ: يَا أُمَّاهُ إِنِّي أَشَمُّ عِنْدَكِ رائِحَةً طَيِّبَةً

faqaala : yaa um-maahoo in-nee ashum-mu i'ndaki raaa-ih'atin tay-yibatin

He then said : "O Mother! I smell a fragrance so sweet

كَأَنَّها رائِحَةُ جَدِّي رَسُولِ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

kaan-nahaa raaa-ih'atu jad-dee rasoolil-laah

and so pure as that of my grandfather, the Prophet (s) of Allah"

فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ إِنَّ جَدَّكَ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

faqul-tu : naa'm in-na jad-daka tah'-tal-kisaaa

I replied : "Yes. Your grandfather is underneath the cloak"

فَأَقْبَلَ الْحَسَنُ نَحْوَ الْكِساءِ وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا جَدَّاهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ

fa aq-balal-h'asanu nah'-wal-kisaaa-i wa qaala : as-salaamu a'lay-ka yaa jad-daahoo yaa rasoolal-laahi

Hasan went near the cloak and said : "Peace be on you, my grandfather, the Prophet (s) of Allah;

أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَدْخُلَ مَعَكَ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

ata-d'anu leee an ad-khula maa'ka tah'-tal-kisaaa

May I enter the cloak with you?"

فَقالَ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا وَلَدِي وَيَا صاحِبَ حَوْضِي

qaala : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa waladee wa yaa s'aah'iba h'awz'ee

He replied : "And upon you be peace, my son and the master of my fountain (Kauthar),

قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ ِ

qad ad'intu laka

you are given the permission to enter"

فَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ تَحْتَ الْكِساء

fa dakhala maa'hoo tah'-tal-kisaaa

So, Hasan entered the cloak with him

فَمَا كانَتْ إِلاَّ ساعَةً وَإِذا بِوَلَدِيَ الْحُسَيْنِ قَدْ أَقْبَلَ وَقالَ

famaa kaanat il-laa saaa'taw-wa id'aa biwaladial-h'usay-ni qad aq-bala wa qaala :

After a while, my Husain came in and said :

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّاهُ.

as-salaamu a'lay-ki yaa um-maah

"Peace be on you, mother"

فَقُلْتُ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا وَلَدِي وَيَا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِي وَثَمَرَةَ فُؤَادِي.

faqul-tu : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa waladee wa yaa qur-rata a'y-nee wa thamarata fuaadee

I replied : "And upon you be peace, O light of my eyes, and the delight of my heart"

فَقَالَ لِي: يَا أُمَّاهُ إِنِّي أَشَمُّ عِنْدَكِ رائِحَةً طَيِّبَةً

faqaala lee : yaaa um-maahoo in-nee shummu i'ndaki raaa-ih'atin tay-yibatan

He then said : "O Mother! I smell a fragrance so sweet

كَأَنَّها رائِحَةُ جَدِّي رَسُولِ اللّهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ.

kaan-nahaa raaa-ih'atu jad-dee rasoolil-laah

and so pure as that of my grandfather, the Prophet (s) of Allah"

فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ إِنَّ جَدَّكَ وَأَخاكَ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ.

faqul-tu : naa'm in-na jad-daka wa akhaaka tah'-tal-kisaaa

I replied : "Yes. Your grandfather and your brother are underneath the cloak"

فَدَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ نَحْوَ الْكِساءِ

fadanal-h'usay-nu nah'-wal-kisaaa-i

Husain stepped towards the cloak

وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا جَدَّاهُ السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَنِ اخْتارَهُ اللّهُ

wa qaala : as-salaamu a'lay-ka yaa jad-dahoos-salaamu a'lay-ka yaa manikh-taarahul-lahoo

and said : "Peace be on you, my grandfather, the Chosen of Allah;

أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَكُما تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

ata-d'anu leee an ad-khula maa'kumaa tah'-tal-kisaaa

May I enter the cloak with you?"

فَقالَ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا وَلَدِي

faqaala : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa waladee

He replied : "And upon you be peace, my son

وَيَا شافِعَ أُمَّتِي قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ.

wa yaa shaafia'a um-matee qad ad'-intu lak

and interceder of my followers, you are given the permission to enter"

فَدَخَلَ مَعَهُما تَحْتَ الْكِساء

fadakhala maa'humaa tah'-tal-kisaaa

So, Husain entered the cloak with them.

فَأَ قْبَلَ عِنْدَ ذلِكَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طالِبٍ

faaq-bala i'nda d'aalika abul-h'asani a'lee-yub-nu abee t'aalibiw-

After a while, Abul Hasan, Ali bin Abi Talib came in

وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللّهِ.

wa qaala : as-salaamu a'lay-ki yaa binta rasoolil-laah

and said : "Peace be on you, O daughter of the Prophet (s) of Allah"

فَقُلْتُ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ وَيَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

faqul-tu wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa abal-h'asani wa yaaa ameeral-mumineen

I replied : "And upon you be peace, O father of Hasan, and the Commander of the faithful"

فَقالَ: يَا فاطِمَةُ إِنِّي أَشَمُّ عِنْدَكِ رائِحَةً طَيِّبَةً

faqaala yaa faat'imatu in-nee ashum-mu i'ndaki raaa-ih'atan tay-yibatan

He then said : "O Fatima! I smell a fragrance so sweet and so pure

كَانَّهَا رائِحَةُ أَخِي وَابْنِ عَمِّي رَسُولِ اللّه صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ.

kaan-nahaa raaa-ih'atu akhee wab-ni a'm-mee rasoolil-laah sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wasallam

as that of my brother and my cousin, the Prophet (s) of Allah"

فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ هَا هُوَ مَعَ وَلَدَيْكَ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

faqul-tu naa'm haa hooa maa' waladay-ka tah'-tal-kisaaa

I replied: "Yes. He is underneath the cloak with your two sons"

فَأَقْبَلَ عَلِيٌّ نَحْوَ الْكِساءِ

faaq-bala a'lee-yun nah'-wal-kisaaa-i

So, Ali went near the cloak

وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ

wa qaala : assalaamu a'lay-ka yaa rasoolal-laahi

and said : "Peace be on you, Prophet (s) of Allah;

وأَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَكُمْ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

ata-d'anu leee an akoo-na maa'kum tah'-tal-kisaaa

May I enter the cloak with you?"

قالَ لَهُ: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا أَخِي ويَا وَصِيِّي

qaala lahu : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaaa akhee wa yaa was'ee

He replied : "And upon you be peace, my brother, my successor,

وَخَلِيفَتِي وَصاحِبَ لِوَائِي قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ

wa khalee-fatee wa s'aah'iba liwaaa-ee qad ad'intu lak

my successor, and my standard bearer, you are given the permission to enter"

فَدَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

fadakhala a'lee-yun tah'-tal-kisaaa

So, Ali entered the cloak with them.

ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ نَحْوَ الْكِساءِ

thum-ma atay-tu nah'-wal-kisaaa-i

Then I stepped forward

وَقُلْتُ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَتاهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ

wa qul-tu : as-salaamu a'lay-ka yaaa abataah yaa rasoolal-laahi

and said : "Peace be on you, my father, O Prophet (s) of Allah;

أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَكُمْ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

ata-d'anu leee an akoo-na maa'kum tah'-tal-kisaaa

May I enter the cloak with you?"

قالَ: وَعَلَيْكِ السَّلامُ يَا بِنْتِي وَيَا بِضْعَتِي قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكِ

qaala : wa a'lay-kis-salaamu yaa bintee yaa baz'-atee qad ad'intu laki

He replied : "And upon you be peace, my daughter, O part of myself; you are given the permission to enter"

فَدَخَلْتُ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

fadakhal-tu tah'-tal-kisaaa

So, I entered the cloak with them.

فَلَمَّا اكْتَمَلْنا جَمِيعاً تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ أَخَذَ أَبِي رَسُولُ اللّه بِطَرَفَي الْكِساءِ

fal-lamak-tamal-naa jamee-a'n tah'-tal-kisaaa-i akhad'a abee rasoolul-laahi bitarafayil-kisaaa-i

Getting together underneath the cloak, my father, the Prophet (s) of Allah, held the two ends of the cloak

وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ ٱلْيُمْـنٰى إِلَى السَّماءِ وَقالَ:

wa aw-maa biyadihil-yum-naa ilas-samaaa-i wa qaala :

and raised his right hand towards the heavens and prayed :

اللّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَؤُلاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي وَخاصَّتِي وَحامَّتِي

al-laahum-ma in-na haa-ulaaa-i ah-lu bay-tee wa khaaas'-s'atee wa h'aaam-matee

"O Allah, these are the people of my Household (Ahlul-Bayt). They are my confidants and my supporters.

لَحْمُهُمْ لَحْمِي وَدَمُهُمْ دَمِي

lah'-muhum lah'-mee wa damuhum damee

Their flesh is my flesh and their blood is my blood.

يُؤْلِمُنِي مَا يُؤْلِمُهُمْ

yu-limunee maa yu-limuhum

Whoever hurts them, hurts me too.

وَيَحْزُنُنِي مَا يَحْزُنُهُمْ

wa yah'-zununee maa yah'-zunuhum

Whoever displeases them, displeases me too.

أَنَا حَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حارَبَهُمْ

ana h'ar-bul-liman h'aarabahum

I am at war with those who are at war with them.

وَسِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سالَمَهُمْ

wa sil-mul-liman saalamahum

I am at peace with those who are at peace with them.

وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عَاداهُمْ

wa a'doo-wul-liman a'adaahum

I am the enemy of their enemies

وَمُحِبٌّ لِمَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ

wa muh'ib-bul-liman ah'ab-bahum

and I am the friend of their friends.

إِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُمْ

in-nahum-min-nee wa ana min-hum

They are from me and I am from them.

فَاجْعَلْ صَلَواتِكَ وَبَرَكاتِكَ وَرَحْمَتَكَ

faj-a'l s'alawaatika wa barakaatika wa rah'-matika

O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings, Benevolence,

وَغُفْرانَكَ وَرِضْوانَكَ عَلَيَّ

wa ghuf-raanika wa riz'-waanika a'lay-ya

Forgiveness and Your pleasure upon me and upon them.

وَعَلَيْهِمْ وَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهِّرْهُمْ تَطْهِيراً.

wa a'lay-him wa ad'-hib a'n-humur-rij-sa wa tah-hiruhum tat-heera

And keep them away from impurity (and flaws) and keep them thoroughly purified"

فَقالَ اللّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:

faqaalal-laahoo az'-za wa jal-la :

Then the Lord, Almighty Allah said :

يَا مَلائِكَتِي وَيَا سُك��َانَ سَمَاواتِي

yaa malaaa-ikatee wa yaa suk-kaana samaawaateee

"O My angels! O Residents of My Heavens,

إِنِّي إمَا خَلَقْتُ سَماءً مَبْنِيَّةً وَلاَ أَرْضاً مَدْحِيَّةً وَلاَ قَمَراً مُنِيراً

in-nee maa khalaq-tu samaa-am-mab-nee-yataw-wa laa ar-z'am-mad-h'ee-yataw-wa laa qamaram-muneeraw-

verily, I have not created the erected Sky, the stretched earth, the illuminated moon,

وَلاَ شَمْساً مُضِيئَةً وَلاَ فَلَكاً يَدُورُ وَلاَ بَحْراً يَجْرِي وَلاَ فُلْكاً يَسْرِي

wa laa sham-sam-muz'eee-ataw-wa laa falakay-yadoo-ru wa laa bah'-ray-yaj-reee wa laa fulkal yasree

the bright sun, the rotating planets, the flowing seas and the sailing ships,

إِلاَّ فِي مَحَبَّةِ هَؤلاءِ الْخَمْسَةِ الَّذِينَ هُمْ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ.

il-laa fee mah'ab-bati haa-ulaaa-il-kham-satil-lad'ee-na hum tah'-tal-kisaaa

but for the love of these Five underneath the cloak"

فَقالَ الاْمِينُ جَبْرائِيلُ: يَارَبِّ وَمَنْ تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

faqaalal-ameenu jib-raaa-ee-lu : yaa rab-bi wa man tah'-tal-kisaaa

Gabriel, the trusted angel, asked : "Who are under the cloak?"

فَقالَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ:

faqaala a'z-za wa jal-la :

The Almighty answered :

هُمْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَمَعْدِنُ الرِّسالَةِ

hum ah-la bay-tin-nuboow-wati wa maa'-dinur-risaalati

"They are the Household of the Prophet (s) and the assets of Prophet hood.

هُمْ فاطِمَةُ وَأَبُوها وَبَعْلُها وَبَنُوها.

hum : faat'imatu wa aboohaa wa baa'-luhaa wa banoo-haa

They are : Fatimah, her father, her husband and her two sons"

فَقالَ جَبْرائِيلُ: يَارَبِّ أَتَأْذَنُ لِي أَنْ أَهْبِطَ إِلَى الاْرْضِ

faqaala jib-raaa-ee-lu : yaa rab-bi ata-d'anu leee an ah-bita ilal-ar-z'i

Gabriel said : "O Lord, May I fly to earth

لأِكُونَ مَعَهُمْ سادِساً

li-akoo-na maa'hum saadisaa

to be the sixth of them?"

فَقالَ اللّهُ: نَعَمْ قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ.

faqaala-laahu : naa'm qad ad'intu lak

Allah replied: "Yes. You are given the permission"

فَهَبَطَ الاْمِينُ جَبْرائِيلُ وَقالَ: السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ

fahabatalameenu jib-raaa-ee-lu wa qaala : as-salaamu a'lay-ka yaa rasoolal-laahil-

Gabriel, the trusted, landed near them and said : "Peace be on you, O Prophet (s) of Allah.

الْعَلِيُّ الاْعْلى يُقْرِئُكَ السَّلام َوَيَخُصُّكَ بِالتَّحِيَّةِ وَالاْكْرامِ

a'lee-yul-aa'-laa yuq-riukas-salaamu wa yakhus'-s'uka bil-tah'eey-yati wa lik-raam

The All-Highest conveys His peace on you and His greetings

وَيَقُوْلُ لَكَ :وَعِزَّتِي وَجَلالِي

wa yaqoo-lu laka : wa iz'-zatee wa jalaalee

and says: "By My Honor and Glory, O My angels! O Residents of My Heavens,

إِنِّي مَا خَلَقْتُ سَماءً مَبْنِيَّةً

in-nee maa khalaq-tu samaaam-mab-nee- yataw-

verily, I have not created the erected Sky,

وَلاَ أَرْضاً مَدْحِيَّةً وَلاَ قَمَراً مُنِيراً وَلاَ شَمْساً مُضِيئَةً

wa laa ar-z'am-mad-h'ee-yataw-wa laa qamaram-muneeran wa laa sham-sam-muz'eeeataw-

the stretched earth, the illuminated moon, the bright sun,

وَلاَ فَلَكاً يَدُورُ وَلاَ بَحْراً يَجْرِي وَلاَ فُلْكاً يَسْرِي

wa laa falkal yadur wa laa bah'-ray-yaj-ree wa laa ful-kay-yas-reee

the rotating planets, the flowing seas and the sailing ships,

إِلاَّ لاِجْلِكُمْ وَمَحَبَّتِكُمْ

il-laa li-ajlikum wa mah'ab-batikum

but for your sake and love"

وَقَدْ أَذِنَ لِي أَنْ أَدْخُلَ مَعَكُمْ

wa qad ad'ina leee an ad-khula maa'kum

and Allah has given me permission to enter the cloak with you.

فَهَلْ تَأْذَنُ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللّه

fahal ta-d'anu lee yaa rasoolal-laahi

May I join you, O Prophet (s) of Allah?"

فَقالَ رَسُولُ اللّه: وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلامُ يَا أَمِينَ وَحْي اللّهِ

faqaala rasoolul-laahi : wa a'lay-kas-salaamu yaa amee-na wah'-yil-laahi

The Prophet (s) replied : "And peace be on you, O trusted bearer of Allah's Revelations!

فإِنَّهُ نَعَمْ قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ.

naa'm qad ad'intu lak

you are granted the permission"

فَدَخَلَ جَبْرائِيلُ مَعَنا تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ

fadakhala jib-raaa-ee-lu maa'naa tah'-tal-kisaaa-i

So, Gabriel entered the cloak with us

فَقالَ لاِبِي: إِنَّ اللّهَ قَدْ أَوْحَى إِلَيْكُمْ يَقُولُ:

faqaala li-abee : in-nal-laaha qad aw-h'aaa ilay-kum yaqoolu :

and said to my father : Allah sends His Revelations to you;

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ

in-namaa yuree-dul-laahoo li-yud'-hiba a'nkumur-rij-sa

"Verily Allah's desire is to keep you away from impurity (and flaws),

أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيراً.

ah-lal-bay-ti wa yutah-hirakum tat-heera

O People of Household (Ahlul-Bayt) and keep you thoroughly purified"

فَقالَ عَلِيٌّ لاِبِي: يَا رَسُولَ اللّه أَخْبِرْنِي مَا لِجُلُوسِنا

faqaala a'lee-yul li-abee : yaa rasoolal-laahi akh-bir-nee maa lijuloosinaa

Then Ali said to my father : "O Prophet (s) of Allah, tell me

هذَا تَحْتَ الْكِساءِ مِنَ الْفَضْلِ عِنْدَ اللّهُ

haad'aa tah'-tal-kisaaa-i minal-faz'-li i'ndal-laah

what significance has Allah given for getting together underneath this cloak ?"

فَقالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ:

faqaalan-nabee-yu s'al-lal-laaho a'lay-hi wa aaalihi:

The Prophet (s) replied :

وَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيَّاً

wal-lad'ee baa'thanee bi-h'aq-qi nabee-

"By Him who rightfully appointed me a Prophet (s)

وَاصْطَفانِي بِالرِّسالَةِ نَجِيّاً

yaw-was'-tafaanee bir-risaalati naj-jeea

and chose me a Messenger for the salvation of the mankind.

مَا ذُكِرَ خَبَرُنا هذَا فِي مَحْفِلٍ مِنْ مَحافِلِ

maa d'ukira khabarunaa haad'aa fee mah'-falim-mim-mah'aafili

whenever and wherever an assembly

أَهْلِ الاْرْضِ وَفِيهِ جَمْعٌ مِنْ شِيعَتِنا وَمُحِّبِينا

ah-lil-ar-z'i wa fee-hi jam-u'm-min shee-a'tinaa wa muh'-ib-bee-naa

of our followers and friends mention this event,

إِلاَّ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الرَّحْمَةُ

il-laa wa nazalat a'lay-himur-rah'-mah

Allah will bestow on them His Blessings and Mercy;

وَحَفَّتْ بِهِمُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَاسْتَغْفَرَتْ لَهُمْ إِلى أَنْ يَتَفَرَّقُوا.

wa h'af-fat bihimu lamalaaa-ikah was-tagh-farat lahum ilaaa ay-yatafar-raqoo

angels will encircle them asking Allah the remission of their sins until the assembly disperses

فَقالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: إِذنْ وَاللّهِ فُزْنَا وَفازَ شِيعَتُنا وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ.

faqaala a'lee-yun a'lay-his-salaamu : id'aw-wal-laahi fuz-naa wa faaza shee-a'tunaa wa rab-bil-kaa'-bah

So Ali said : "Verily, by the Lord of Kabaa! we and our followers are the winners"

فَقالَ أَبِي رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ:

faqaala abee rasoolul-laahi s'al-lal-laaho a'lay-hi wa aaalihi:

Then my father replied :

يَا عَلِيُّ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيّاً

yaa a'lee-yu wal-lad'ee baa'thanee bil-h'aq-qi nabee-yaw

"By Him who rightfully appointed me a Prophet

وَاصْطَفَانِي بِالرِّسالَةِ نَجِيّاً

was'-tafaanee bir-risaalati najee-ya

there shall remain none grieved but Allah will remove his grief,

وَلاَ مَغْمُومٌ إِلاَّ وَكَشَفَ اللّهُ غَمَّهُ

walaa magh-moo-mun il-laa wa kashafal-laaho gham-mahoo

there shall remain none distressed but Allah will dispel his distress,

وَلاَ طالِبُ حاجَةٍ إِلاَّ وَقَضَى اللّهُ حاجَتَهُ.

wa laa t'aalibu h'aajatin il-laa wa qaz'al-laaho h'aajatah

there shall remain none wish-seeker but Allah will grant his wish."

فَقالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: إِذن وَاللّه فُزْنا وَسُعِدْنا وَكَذلِكَ شِيعَتُنا

faqaala a'lee-yun a'lay-his-salaamu id'aaw-wal-laahi fuz-naa wa sui'd-naa wa kad'aalika shee-atunaa

`Ali, peace be upon him, said, "Then, we have won and attained pleasure. I swear it by Allah. So have our adherents;

فازُوا وَسُعِدُوا فِي الدُّنْيا وَالاْخِرَةِ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ.

faazoo wa sui'doo fid-dunyaa wal aaakhirati wa rab-bil-kaa'-bah

they have won and attained pleasure in this world and in the Hereafter. I swear it by the Lord of the Ka`bah."

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli ala muhammadin wa ali muhammad

Our heartiest greetings and felicitations to Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.), Hazrat Fāṭimah (SA), Ahl-e-Bait (A.S.), Imam Al- Hujjah (ATFJ) & all lovers of Ahl-e-Bait (AS) on this auspicious occasion of Birth Anniversary of The Lion Of Allah, Ameerul Momeeneen ALI IBN ABI TALIB (as) Jashan-e-Nazool-e-Mola Ameer (asws) Mubarak Tariq bin Shihab asked: “O Ameer al-Momineen (as) please explain the virtues of an Imam (masoom), Ameer al-Momineen (as) replied: “O Tariq, the Imam is the ‘Kalima-tul-Allah’ word of Allah; ‘Hujat-Allah the proof of Allah; Waj-Allah’ the direction to Allah; ‘Noor-Allah’ the light of Allah; ‘Hijab-Allah’ the veil of Allah and ‘Ayat-Allah’ the sign of Allah. He is chosen by Allah who bestows onto him whatever (qualities, perfections) He Chooses, and Makes it compulsory on all His creatures to Obey him – the Imam. Thus he is Allah’s appointed ruler in the heavens and on the earth. Allah has taken a covenant regarding this from all His servants. Whosoever precedes the Imam has denied established kingdom of Allah. An Imam can act as he finds it appropriate, however his actions only correspond to the will of Allah. Inscribed on his upper limb is the-declaration: The words of Allah are accomplished with truth and justice. For the Imams are both the justice and the truth. A column of light (stretching) from the earth to the sky is created for him, in which he witnesses the actions of the mankind. He is enrobed in the cloak of power and dignity; he knows what is in the minds and has access to the unseen-al-ghayb; he has been entrusted with absolute power (in conducting his affairs); he beholds all that rests between the dominions of the East and the West: Nor is anything from the realms of ‘Mulk and Malakoot’ which is hidden from him; and he has the ability to communicate with the birds, who submit to his Wilayah. The Imam, is Fresh and sweet water for those thirsting (for knowledge & wisdom) A guide to true Guidance. The Imam, is ayat-e-Tathir, acquainted with mysteries of the unseen. The Imam, is the sun that rises over Allah’s servants with its (illuminating) rays. O Tariq, the people have abandoned him and followed their own desires and who can be more astray than the one who follows his whims without any guidance from Allah. O Tariq! the Imam may be considered like an angel in the appearance of human being, a heavenly body, a divine command, a sacred spirit, a lofty station, a manifest light, a hidden secret. He is angelic in essence with attributes of the Divine powers, endowed with unlimited good qualities, posses the knowledge of the realms of the Unseen, specifically chosen by the Lord of the Worlds and is connected with the Truthful and Trustworthy (Rasool Allah). All this is for the household of Muhammad (saw) alone; nobody else can partake in this with them. This is because they are: the source of revelation and the meaning of its exposition; the elect of the Lord of Majesty; The place of Gibrael, Al-Ameen’s descent; the words of the attributes of Allah; His secret and His words; the tree of Prophet hood; the source of chivalry; the essence of all opinions; the ultimate meaning and signification; the station of apostolic wisdom; the illumination of majesty in proximity to Allah, and in His care the location of Allah’s word; the key to his wisdom; the lamps of Allah’s mercy; the well springs of His bounty; the path that leads to Allah-the salsabeel-the Qistaas al Mustaqeem (the upright scale) the straight path; the remembrance (full) of wisdom; the noble face; the eternal light; possessors of honour and repute; take precedence over all noble and exalted; the successors of the noble Prophet (saw); the progeny of the compassionate and gentle (Prophet (saw); we are the progeny of one from the other, in the custody of the most High, the most Mighty- Allah knows all and observes all of these. “Love” texte et mise en scène Alexander Zeldin (en anglais surtitré) à l’Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe/Berthier 17e

No exit...Dans un centre d'hébergement social pour personnes en attente de logement, la salle commune, avec sa cuisine et sa salle de bain, est le lieu de passage obligé. L'intimité de chacun se voit soudain partagée, bon gré mal gré. Face à un décor d'un naturalisme moderne étonnant, nous nous retrouvons à la fois spectateurs et acteurs, par notre présence dans la lumière, de ces moments quotidiens, comme volés à l'insu des personnages qui se débattent devant nous dans leur quête d'un autre part différent et impossible. L'usure des papiers peints, les fissures dans les dalles du plafond, la poussière sur la grille de l'unique radiateur...tout sent et respire l'usure, la fatigue, la déprime.

Le définitif semble installé dans ce lieu qui était supposé n'être que provisoire. Mais peu à peu, le dialogue s'installe, la vie suit son cours, on accroche les guirlandes de Noël qui approche...Chacun essaie d'oublier cette mise à nu obligée et réciproque...

Alexander Zeldin nous présente sa pièce créée avec grand succès à Londres voilà deux ans. Il réussit, malgré la violence sourde qui imprègne chaque parole, à transformer ces moments de partage obligés en tendresse quotidienne, en petites preuves d'un amour toujours présent et plus fort que l'abandon qui semble régner. Malgré les vitres crasseuses, cet arbre qui « par-dessus le toit berce sa palme » suffit pour apporter son réconfort presque poétique et faire rêver à un ailleurs forcément meilleur.

Zeldin s'est entouré de comédiennes et comédiens qui contribuent merveilleusement à la perfection de ce sentiment de réalité sans toutefois verser dans le documentaire social. La langue anglaise surtitrée apporte à la pièce toute sa force et sa vérité implacables. Bien sûr on pense à Ken Loach pour la violence des situations et les réponse intransigeantes des organismes officiels. Mais l'enfermement est ici plus proche de « l'enfer c'est les autres » de Sartre. En anglais sa pièce Huis clos s'appelle No exit. Un « sans issue » où chacun compte sur l'autre pour un peu de réconfort, de sourire et de chaleur humaine. Zeldin réussit à mettre en relief de minuscules touches d’optimisme qui font de ces moments des petites haltes de simple bonheur.
