A call had come in from a manager, pleading for her assistance in styling his client, a WWE Star who had been making waves in the industry for years – Roman Reigns. Known as one of the top wrestlers around, Roman needed a new stylist urgently, especially with the Espy Awards looming just a day away.

Initially, Amaia hesitated, her schedule already packed for the day. But when the manager mentioned the price, she couldn't refuse. Without a second thought, she accepted the job, knowing it would be a whirlwind of fittings and designs.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Roman but you can call me Joe.." His voice, deep and seductive, snapped her out of her trance, though it sent a shiver down her spine, her knees trembling slightly.

A faint smile played at the corners of his lips, noting her reaction. The way she couldn't tear her gaze from his lips gave away more than she realized.

"Sorry we're a little late, I just moved into a new place an-.." Roman began to explain.

"No, it's totally fine. No need to explain.." Amaia interrupted, ushering them into the room and gesturing for them to take a seat on one of the plush couches.

As she opened the door to her closet, she headed towards the section reserved for men's clothing, selecting a few suits to present to Roman. Laying them out on the adjacent couch, she turned back to face him.

"Okay, so I'm styling you for the Espy's correct?"

Roman nodded, "Correct.."

"So, explain to me your style. Like what do you like to wear, favorite colors, so on and so forth..",

"I'm not too big on name brands and stuff like that. I dress casually for the most part. Colors..hmm..I like dark, sometimes with a pop of somethin' bright..you get me?"

She chuckled, pulling out a few dark suits and colorful button-ups and ties.

"I definitely understand,"

Roman glanced at his manager, who seemed preoccupied with his phone.

"What?"

Paul glanced up briefly, "Nothing, don't worry about it. I'll be right back." he smiled, nodding towards Amaia.

"Take good care of him while I'm gone." he requested.

"I'm not a child, I can take care of myself," Roman said, rolling his eyes.

Amaia giggled, "It's fine, I got him."

"Thank you."

She held up a black suit, "Come here for a minute.."

As he approached, she felt a flutter of nerves. His presence was intense, his cologne intoxicating.

Turning to face him, she held up the suit, "How about these black slacks with a black button-up and a deep blood orange or red tie? Or you can wear the black slacks with a red button-up and a black tie..no suit jacket, though.."

Roman considered the options, his presence sending her thoughts into a tailspin.

"I like the all black with the red tie, that would be pretty dope. What do you think?" he asked. His eyes stared deeply into hers, almost as if he were searching for something. If you ask Amaia, she could've sworn he was trying to find her g-spot by staring into her soul.

"I..I think you will look great in that." she stammered.

"Yeah?" he leaned in closer, his breath grazing her cheek.

"Yes.." she breathed out softly, feeling a flutter in her chest. Gripping the clothes tightly, she fought to steady herself. If his intention was to make her lose her mind, he was certainly achieving it.

The door swung open, causing both of them to jump.

"Joe, we got to go. You have a meeting in 30 minutes. If we don't go now, you'll be late, and that's not a good first impression." Paul said, fingers tapping away at his phone.

"What about the outfit for the Espys tomorrow? She doesn't know my sizes.." Roman's concern was evident.

"Text her your sizes and we'll deal with the rest tomorrow morning. Amaia, will you be able to be here at 6:00 am tomorrow?"

She nodded, "Great, problem solved. Let's goooo!" Paul exclaimed, ushering Roman out of the room.

Roman groaned, rubbing his temples.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow.."

"Yeah, tomorrow.." she murmured, glancing down.

"Reigns!"

"I'm coming!"

"See you later, beautiful.." his smirk lingered in her mind.

As the door closed behind them, she sank to the floor, her knees finally giving out.

"My God, what am I going to do with this man?" she lamented, her box braids threatening to fall out of her bun.

This born again virgin thing is going to be harder than she thought.

Somebody truly had the nerve to say Roman has never had to deal with or wrestle with injuries/set backs in his career and that he "could never power through like C*dy did with his torn pec". First of all, comparing how these two athletes deal with injuries is big fucking weird but since we're going there and I take my role of #1 Joe Anoa'i defender to heart what I'm not about to do is let y'all set up here on this internet and make it seem as if my Tribal Chief ain't ever fought through shit because this man is a WARRIOR, do you hear me???

i said it in the tags of a reblog but it bears repeating. im begging and praying that swerve's reign isn't just tk checking a box to say "look, we're a progressive company with a black champion!". i need him to defend this belt over and over, against the best of the best, and hold it for a good long time, and not give it up to tk's next shiny new toy poached from wwe/njpw's latest releases, but to an opponent that actually deserves it and fights HARD for it.

Thoughts and opinions on that F1 Nation podcast that just dropped

I listen to f1 official podcasts pretty often and I was intrigued by what Christian Horner had to say about the latest news so here we go. The timestamps are from 14:55 - 28:00 if you're trying to listen on Spotify. I only screenrecorded a small section that stood out to me.

Christian Horner did not say Yuki's name ONCE. And I have a problem with that. And this implies a couple of things: Yuki isn't even considered in RedBull's long term plans. Like Christian explicitly said that this AlphaTauri run is a test to see if Daniel would be ready in 2025.

They talked about how the discussions for the 3rd redbull driver thing came up in Mexico 2022. And I have already discussed how I feel about that GP on other posts. I just found it funny I that I made long posts about it, not thinking it will be brought up by official F1 media today.

If Horner had reservations about Nyck de Vries, why was he allowed allowed in the AlphaTauri seat? Because Helmut Marko is an idiot who can't think about the long term plans. I feel like he just does shit on impulse and if his unreasonably high expectations aren't met, he sacks drivers in the most unprofessional manner.

Helmut Marko you suck at your job and you should retire with all these poor driver showings that have happened under your supervision

Christian Horner also didn't say anything along the lines of "best wishes for Nyck de Vries for his future endeavors" maybe WWE spoiled me too much but I would expect someone in a high position of power from a notable company to make some kind of statement like it.

I don't think RedBull have even considered the possibility of Checo bouncing back. They mention supporting him but I don't feel like those words are genuine. Like he's not even in RedBull's future plans past 2024. What if bro doesn't even want to retire and still wants to be on the grid? I guess that doesn't matter... people have already decided that he's getting the chop with everyone making guesses on the 2nd seat in 2025.

Horner says that Daniel's 7th lap would have put him in the front row for Silverstone's quali. But I read online that he set a laptime of 1:27.415, which would have put him in front of Alex Albon in p8. I do know that he was testing harder compounds during the tests because Pirelli want to ban tire warmers (and I can do another rant about the new tire regulations that might be coming in). But I am still confused, was that variable factored in by Horner's statement?

I rolled my eyes so hard at this part like uhhhhhhh if you say so girl. It's hard to believe this given the team's history. These words are kind of empty because they feed drivers who are struggling to adapt with the car to the wolves (the media).

RedBull will hyperfocus on the results produced from here to Abu Dhabi. Yuki outperforming the McLarens in the earlier races (this is an example) will mean ~nothing~. If I were them, I would give Yuki a run in the RedBull to really gauge where he's at compared to Daniel.

What is the plan if Yuki and Daniel go 6-6 in head to head competition? My guess is that it will be good enough for them to really consider Daniel for that 2025 seat. They are really pushing for him. Just look at how much media coverage this is getting.
