22) What simple activity that most people do / can do scares your character?

Despite being fairly adventurous since they were a kid i think they had certain sensory fears they could never get over, and as a result Petrichor is still quite intimidated by swimming! They’re very nervous about the idea of being completely surrounded by something they can’t breathe in, where their movement is somewhat impeded. ever since they learned how to fly using their cloak of the bat, they like to think that flying is like swimming except without everything that makes swimming suck.

52) Do they act on their immediate emotions, or do they wait for the facts before acting?

They generally are able to keep a lid on their immediate emotions/feelings and try to keep it together as much as possible, as they’re hypervigilant about sudden escalations potentially putting their friends in danger - they want to understand the other side better in order to pick it apart. It does come from a place of trying to stay logical/trying to see the bigger picture BUT it also helps them feel more in control of their own feelings - as lack of control over how they feel and how it manifests (especially in front of others) is something that terrifies them.

In more mundane settings they sometimes jump to assumptions about how other people feel - they don’t like missing certain nuances and their brain will often fill in the blanks for them if they do- and will act based on those feelings rather than wait for more facts / ask for clarification because they don’t like admiting that they’ve missed something.

i have never felt bliss quite like finally being able to delete the ghost asks that have been in my inbox for over a year :)

#like i know it might seem dramatic but im literally abt to cry from relief #i have like. a really intense hatred towards little notification bubbles like that and i have to clear them out immediately #and those notifs bother me almost every time i open tumblr #BUT NOW THEYRE GONE!!!
