Thought I would give a general update on Barbara progress!

When we last left off, I had finished hand painting daisies on most of the skirt (with the exception of a side panel and skirt gathers). Currently I have everything finally painted that needs painting other than the skirt gathers. There is still the hidden sections of the skirt front panel and bodice front panel. I plan on eventually going back and painting daisies on those bits (shown under the cut), but it's not a top priority for me when they're hidden.

The skirt gathers are going to be the most tedious of this whole process as I can only paint a tiny section at a time, because the sections need to be completely dry before moving onto different sections, but with any luck, Barbara will absolutely be done in time for ALA 🤞

"Work smarter, not harder" seems like a weird thing to say here since there was definitely easier ways to go about this (like asking another Babs cosplayer where she got her fabric), but thankfully since this is a wrap dress, I can hide where I haven't painted 😍

I have... the beginnings of a Lester cosplay. I just need a better red hoodie, an actually curly haired wig (I have one that's more anime style, but I don't have it atm) and a bow and arrow. For now just enjoy what I put together and ignore how badly I censored my face and how absurdly long my hair is.

Also don't ask why I made that pose. I felt like being a bit... fruity, is that the word? One day I'll finish this and you guys can get the face reveal.
