I love this small moment of Windu gesturing to Anakin when he enters the chancellor's chambers:

he doesn't yell at him "why didn't you stay at the temple?!", he isn't surprised, he isn't angry at all. he just gently warns him "hey bro, be careful, this mf's output is 220v".

and after that he never calls him "Skywalker". just "Anakin". he really started to trust him just as he promised. and he knew that Anakin would come regardless, he just wants him out of the harm's way. and this is the trust that Anakin betrays.

Mace Windu: Oh Plo, don't tell us you're wearing the ones with the holes to mess with students again. Knight Aayla still has nightmares about those oxygen rumors you started.
