when i used to be on quotev 24/7 it made me worse but also so much better, quotev LITERALLY shaped me into who i am now

Coming back to quotev and it being... Dead, was such a crush since i expected to come back and archive old things </3

Came back to dms and groups and stuff being no longer there, all my old friends deactivated, and i had no way of knowing if they were okay

I can relate to that. when I joined quotev, it was my first exposure to social media, and really my first time engaging with people outside of my sheltered life. I sort of finished growing up there. Now that a lot of it’s gone, i try to think of what I’ve done in the last 6 years and it feels a big chunk is missing.

I still miss the stupid stream of activities. one of my most cherished quotev memories used to be the “WHY WERENT YOU AT ELF PRACTICE” takeover one Christmas. (Christmas on Quotev meant a lot of Christmas takeovers.)

oh, a lot of stuff that’s just memory now. And I didn’t even figure out anything about the admins :/
