Kim Jong Chan (KWON HYUK) was initially cold towards Seung Hyun (MOON JI YONG) but once his heart softened it was permanent and irreversible. Kim Jong Chan made so many changes simply because his love for a man that wanted to understand him and his passion for his work.

And that small bit of understanding made work less important and the man more important bringing a beautiful balance to both of them.

What's this I heard about Oaey from Mate the series and this girl called Jaja being her irl ex-girlfriend and then there's also something about Idol Factory that made GAP throwing out a show Oaey and Jaja made together halfway through. A lot of it is in Thai so I can't really follow

From what I've seen/read over the years, Oaey Ponchanok and Jaja Jinjutha were rumored to be a couple irl. Idk if that rumor persists today and they're still together, or if they've broken up since. But they lived together at one point and auditioned together to play couples on tv shows. Specifically, GAP:

What I can confirm today is that Oaey is openly gay (lesbians playing lesbians ftw 🥳) and freely talks about her prior relationships with women. She's never confirmed if one of those women is Jaja tho.

But Oaey and Jaja were both cast in GAP as the secondary wlw couple. Do you remember the hotel owners Mon and Sam run into on their vacation, Cher and Risa? Those roles were specifically written into the script for Oaey and Jaja. IDF had plans for that couple to get their own spin-off, and the spin-off was to air directly after GAP to capitalize off GAP's popularity. Oaey and Jaja were set to be the next FreenBecky:

It's kinda wild to think that, if things had gone differently and God actually loved us, we would've had two irl girlfriends playing on-screen girlfriends doing girlfriend shit during promotions. Or, if they were already broken up, the absolute D R A M A of irl ex-gfs playing on-screen gfs forced to do gf shit during promotions. I'm pretty sure there's a GL in pre-production right now with that same plot, and I happen to know who they can cast:

Anyway, Oaey and Jaja completely filmed their scenes in GAP and were officially part of GAP. They participated in promotions for the show alongside the other cast members, did interviews, and shot a bunch of promotional videos together as an official GL love team:

Things went south when GAP blew the fuck up basically overnight and made superstars out of Becky and Freen. I truly believe IDF didn't expect GAP to do as well as it did. Once they realized how much money they could make by casting Becky and Freen in other projects, they needed that same security with Oaey and Jaja. Especially since Oaey and Jaja were already halfway thru filming the GAP spin-off. IDF needed to lock Oaey and Jaja into exclusive deals to not lose them to competing companies.

Now, this part is purely speculation since it's never been confirmed, but the rumors go that IDF required Oaey and Jaja to sign an exclusive contract before the company would air not only their scenes in GAP but also their spin-off. But Oaey and Jaja didn't want to sign. They wanted to remain semi-independent with more freedom to choose future projects with other companies.

IDF hated that idea with a fiery passion, so they nixed Oaey and Jaja in GAP and replaced them with Lux and Milky, canceled the spin-off altogether, and kicked Oaey and Jaja to the curb:

To make Oaey and Jaja's situation even worse, both women auditioned for Mate. Oaey as Gen and Jaja as Aoey. Production chose Oaey, but not as Gen. They thought she was too short to play Gen, so they recast her as Aoey. Jaja's a smidge taller than Oaey, so she would've made a great Gen, but Jaja didn't make it at all. Production ended up casting Grace instead. So, once again, Oaey and Jaja were broken up as a love team.

It's fucking weird how rude people are about immigration sometimes. And I don't just mean bigots being biased and stuff. I mean that, on a REGULAR basis, people ask me if I'm thinking about "going back to the US". And I'm just like... no? What do you mean "back to the US"? I live in Germany. I LIVE IN GERMANY.

I literally fucking started learning German and obsessing on German culture in high school, then I went to college in the US and majored in German Studies, including two study-abroad programs in Germany, then I moved to Germany for grad school and lived there for three years and worked in various German-speaking jobs while studying, then I had to temporarily return to the US but found a German-translation-based job at the US branch of a German company, and made a bunch of German or at least German-speaking friends in my new US city, and then a few years later I was able to move back to Germany, where I got a work visa sponsored by my employer and a full-time salaried job, and after a few more years I acquired my permanent residency, and soon I'll be applying for citizenship.

And people still sometimes ask me whether I'm considering "going back to the US". Like... dude? Would you ask a Mexican living in the US about their plans for "going back to Mexico"? That is rude as fuck.

Immigration is fucking hard. Why on earth would I have gone through all this shit just to throw it up in the air like "Oh well, never mind!"

The only criticism I needed was my coach's, and now I feel like I'm at a point in my career where I can judge my own skills."

I've heard— seen people's complaints on Twitter, it's something. But honestly, good job on Red Bull for making a rocket ship [laughter]."

It has such a different vibe of all the songs you have B: Žare showed them the heartbeat that can be heard in the song, Bojan came up with the "put your lips on mine" line and proceeded to finish the lyrics on their way back home from Bucharest after Summer Well fest. it was basically Nace who turned the idea of Lips into a song music-wise

Q: Why did you decide to release stephanie so close before the album release? Was it the plan all along? B: apparently he didn't know the song was getting released, he just saw it on their instagram stories and rolled with it lol

Q: Does lyrics just pop into your head and then you decide the story or do you decide on a common theme/story the song is gonna have and then make the lyrics about that? B: usually there's an insistent thought in his head and he works around it

Q: What do you think of Baldies Out? Which song do you want us to cover next? context: Baldies Out is a group on instagram which posts - you guessed it - bald edits of Joker Out. occasionally there are covers of Joker Out songs, adapted with lyrics that fit the bald theme of the account B: they could cover Lips and turn the lyrics into "put your hair on mine" or Ako Toga Više Neće Biti "so it's a man who's going bald singing to his hair - it's a song between a guy and his hair" Bojan is frustrated because he looks very bad bald meanwhile Nace finds himself cool in his bald edition, Bojan too believes bald Nace looks cool, Nace jokes about shaving off all his hair and Bojan says he'd like to see that and proceeds to complement his beard and tell him he'd look "badass as hell"

Q: What are the possibilities for JO (whether concert and/or meet and greet) in the US and/or the UK? both: they were supposed to play in NYC in May but it was a very last-minute thing and didn't manage to get working visas in time. they'll have a gig or more in the UK next year

Q: When you were at the Sziget festival, have you tasted hungarian foods? if yes, what was it? / when will be new products in the shop? B: has been in Hungary twice (once this year for Sziget and once as a child) but hasn't tried anything hungarian - ✨I love food no matter where it comes from. So I had to fire my therapist because she gave me a panic attack telling my transmasc partner and I we need to flee the country. It started with me talking about coping with executive orders by reading, making art, generally dissociating and feeling a lil numb about it all. She then said now is not the time to be doing that and I need to focus on planning/preparing for the worst. She got into it, including giving me the nitty gritty details of which Mexican cities have the lowest crime rates (!!) and the best peeing device to buy on Amazon so my partner doesn’t have to use public restrooms on our tentative refugee road trip?? When I mentioned not wanting to leave our community behind and fearing survivors guilt if we left and something bad happened to our loved ones, she then said that my fear of that should serve as further evidence that we should leave! She also mentioned how US money goes a long way in Thailand and we could live like rich people there, which really rubbed me the wrong way. It was especially odd because my partner and I are both white and not in a bad spot financially - like I totally understand why some people need to leave but I feel we can best help by staying put and assisting our community. I just had to share this with you, it’s so wild. Thank you again for being a source of calm and reason, as this interaction with my now ex-therapist left me really scared and panicked
