Two Canadians, two Brits studying in Canada, and an upkeeper walk into a Mystery Shack…. and live there. Summer holidays are here, and the step-siblings, Irene Adler and Sherlock Holmes, find themselves in a boring town called Reichenbach Falls, Oregon, USA. It isn’t as boring as it seems, however, once Sherlock stumbles upon a mystery journal, and the author is unknown. The journal contains ciphers, a strange colour wheel, and information about magical creatures that are said to be looming in the Northwestern forests. With mysteries to solve in hand, he and Irene set out to get to the roots of the town, and the abrupt disappearance of the author of the journal. But they’re not alone - John Watson, quite the handsome nephew of the Mystery Shack owner Greg Lestrade, is on their side to help out, plus mess with Sherlock’s feelings, in a good way. Shenanigans, romance, fun, danger, and deductions ensue. Oh, and there’s also occasional SuperWhoLock and two dorky Winchester brothers to spark up the action later on.

Wholock Fanfic

In a not so quiet second floor flat located in the busy central London, a consulting detective playing the violin and a blogger making tea hung out there. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson of 221b Baker Street happily shared their flat for the past year solving crimes and saving London together.

"Oh, god...Sherlock!" John called to his friend as he opened the refrigerator to find an assortment of disembodied hands.

"Yes John?" Sherlock asked setting down his violin and walking over to the kitchen.

"What the hell is with the hands?" John asked annoyed, Sherlock rolled his eyes and walked back over to the parlor where he sat down in his chair.

"They're for a case," Sherlock told him.

"Yeah, I kinda figured, but what have Mrs. Hudson and I told you about keeping the evidence in the fridge where we keep our food?" John replied.

"I believe I deleted that information," Sherlock smirked, John sighed and grabbed his tea and sat down in his chair across from the detective.

A loud noise was heard from the kitchen and they turned to see a blue police box, fading in and out of reality until it came to a halt in their kitchen. Both men stayed frozen in the armchairs.

"Can you see it to?" Sherlock asked, "I could have sworn I didn't take anything today but that could be the cocaine talking..."

"Sherlock I can see it too," John said cutting him off. "However I could be dreaming,"

"If you can see your hands clearly or eat anything than no," Sherlock informed him, John looked at his hands which were as clear as day and quickly swallowed down the boiling hot tea which his throat immediately regretted afterwards.

"Gah! Alright! Not dreaming!" John said holding his throat, Sherlock nodded amused by his friend. "What are we going to do with it?"

"Hmmm..." Sherlock said deep in thought, he was taking in everything about the box, the dimensions, how old it must be, how recently the paint was done, and how to open it.  "Someone is inside it,"

"What?" John asked.

"Someone piloted it here, they're still inside," Sherlock answered.

The door opened. A man in a brown suit with a red bow tie stepped out the light glowing behind him.

"Hello! I'm the Doctor!" The man introduced himself walking forward to the two. "Pleasure to meet you; Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson! Big fan, big fan!"

"Who are you?" John said taking a step back, "What is that? And how the bloody hell did you get into our flat?"

"Oh right! Sorry about that, probably should've given you some warning, I know it can come as a shock sometimes," the Doctor said scratching the back of his neck.

"Sherlock?" John asked turning to the detective for answers as that’s usually what he did.

Sherlock looked at the funny man, he half smiled, "Time traveler, traveling in both space and time, alien, and there are two more people in that box,"

"Oh I've always wanted to see him do that." A tall Scottish girl with long red hair said stepping out of the police box, along with another man who just stared at the detective in admiration.

"How-How are you able to fit three people in there?! Were you having a threesome of something?!" John asked, the redhead laughed.

"It's bigger on the inside obviously," Sherlock deduced.

"Oh I love it when they say that!" the Doctor said smiling. John walked over to the blue box and stepped inside.

"Bloody hell," John said his face turning a ghostly shade of white. The inside was huge, with a control panel, a loft floor and the walls glowed. "It's bigger on the inside,"

The Doctor smiled even wider, "It's called the TARDIS, and it's mine,"

The two other people nodded and walked over to the men, "Amy and Rory Pond, nice to meet you," Amy intruded themselves smugly.

"Why-Why are you here?!" John said still flabbergasted, the Doctor clapped his hands together.

"Right! About that, we're pretty sure we need the world's greatest detective and his favorite blogger to save the universe about two thousand years into the future, what'd you say?"

John's mouth hung open slightly and Sherlock merely smirked.

"Save-Save the universe...Us?" John said smiling at the thought, the Doctor nodded.

"Obviously we'll assist," Sherlock nodded business like, although his eyes lit up like a child on Christmas morning, or like when he received a new murder case.

"Could be dangerous," the Doctor warned them, "you could be killed by aliens,"

Sherlock smirked, "Well that'd be highly ambitious of them,"

So ive been reading a great wholock fic, cant remember the name right now (Of time lords and men) but it has +40k words and 8 chapters.... so far i ve just finished chapter 5. The only thing is johns traveling through time with the doctor and occasionaly meeting sherlock....the only thing is sherlocks not had johns first visit yet and all im thinking, all im praying is that thw author didnt fully follow throught with the doctor who references and didnt include the "your future is my past, your firsts are my lasts" part so the last time sherlock sees john is the first time john sees him (fyi its after TRF so on johns first visit to sherlock he punches him)

“Are you really gonna leave without asking me the question you’ve been dying to ask me?”

Sherlock looked over at the girl in front of him. He hadn’t wanted to come to this stupid party, but he had to get out of the house for a while. It was uncomfortable again. It always seemed to be uncomfortable now, and he didn’t know why. He just knew if there was a party there would be food and he’d have a chance at maybe getting some...other things...too. But other than the food it had been a bust and there was no point in staying. The music was too loud and grating on his ears, and looking at everyone in their silly costumes was getting on his nerves.

And now his exit was being blocked by a girl he vaguely recognized in a witch get-up with green makeup smeared on her face, a wart on her nose and hideous neon green and black striped socks.

“What question would that be?” he asked, crossing his arms.

“Where I got the socks,” she said.

He blinked. She gave him a smile and then grabbed his hand, pulling him back into the party and towards a quieter part of the house, away from all the noise. Up the stairs, past a strange door that he thought, just for a brief moment, shouldn’t be there, and then to a room at the end of the hall. She let go of his hand momentarily to open the door for them and then grabbed it again to pull him in. “Who are you?” he asked, giving her a curious look.

She went over to the dresser in the room as he looked around. It was definitely the room of a girl, he realized. Someone with a vivid imagination; there was art on the walls, drawn by someone with burgeoning skill. There was also dolls made of various materials, of a young girl and a man in a blue shirt and blue pants. Curious. Then he felt something hit him in the head and he looked down to see balled up neon pink and black striped sock. He bent down and picked them up, and when he looked up he saw the witch was holding up a bottle of whiskey that was about half empty. “You were hoping for something more like this?”

“It’ll do,” Sherlock said. She moved to the bed and sat on it, and he joined her after a moment. “This must be your home.”

The witch nodded. “Amy Pond. You’re Sherlock, aren’t you? Sherlock Holmes?”

He nodded. “Yes.” She handed him the bottle and he unscrewed it to take a sip. Not his usual poison of choice, but it would do.

“You don’t go to school around here,” she said.

He shook his head. “I’m carted away to boarding schools,” he replied before handing her the bottle and watching her take a sip. “I recently got expelled for yet another set of serious infractions.”

“Oooh, bad boy,” she said. “What did you do?”

“Found out the headmaster had cheated on his wife with the French teacher and the French teacher was planning on killing the headmaster to keep their homosexual affair a secret before he was sacked,” Sherlock said. “I exposed the entire thing and stopped a murder but it was leaked to the press, causing humiliation. Instead of being grateful I was tossed out of the school.”

Amy handed him back the liquor and pursed her lips. “That sounds like a rather shite reason to be expelled.”

“Well, the headmaster had about nine hundred million reasons to not want his dirty little secret to come out.” He took a drink. “His soon-to-be ex-wife is a millionaire worth £900 million when you add up all her investments and property and whatnot. He just couldn’t control himself. Blew it all on an impulse.”

“So you’re stuck here in Leadworth for a bit?” she asked as he passed back the bottle.

Sherlock shrugged. “My mother supposes she can teach me herself. She’s a genius, after all. My father wants to send me elsewhere. My brother has his own opinions. I frankly don’t care.” He laid down on her bed. “If I had my way, I’d say to hell with them all, run off and become a concert violinist.”

“Could be an interesting life,” Amy said, turning so she was facing him. “Could be good to just chuck it all and run away.”

“Would you?” he asked.

“Oh yeah,” she said with a nod. She gestured with the bottle. “I’m here all by myself all the time. My aunt doesn’t give a shite about me, not really. I’d want to run away, far away. I just don’t know what I’d do with myself.”

“Art,” he said, pointing to her wall. “You have talent.”

“Good of you to notice,” she said with a smile. She had some more whiskey. “Let’s make a pact. It gets rough, for you or for me, we run away together. We just say fuck it all and we go. But we be smart about it. No drugs.” Sherlock opened his mouth and she pointed to his arm. “I’m not blind.” He closed it again. “No drugs, no drink. We be smart and we make it on our own. Agreed?”

He mulled it over and then offered her his hand, which she shook. “Agreed.”
