ooookkkkkk bc im normal and i do a lot of thinking i have lots of thoughts!!!! abt mcc games and also servers / server hopping and communicators in general!!!!! and it gets long bc im nnnnormal and have also included pictures!!!!!!!!! so there is a read more :] pls give it a read i think its fun

starting with failsafe servers bc why not lol- in my mind everyone has a 'default world' or a failsafe world for lack of a better term- but its essentially ur main home. u may LIVE other places but in a scenario where say ur comms breaks or you perma die in a server, u would wind up back there. its essentially a glorified respawn anchor! and as such it can be changed at any point, and can be a single player world or a multi-player world.

speaking of comms, essentially, everything works bc of them. they're basically the minecraft equivalent of real world computers and they are powerful. everyone has a standard wristband comm (think like.. what minecraft hotbars look like in vr), but they can be customized to be say.. a handheld device or just to genuinely have a different design

(i do apologize in advance for the lighting lmao. its late so the lighting is trash)

while comms are the main and most common form of communication there are like. cameras and phones and such that are used for streaming and recording videos bc yeah lets get hashtag influencing!! i'll come back 2 this more :]

now with that established! server hopping >:]

with server hopping, its your comm that syncs you up to servers and such. if you get an invite to a server then you would either accept or decline etcetc and then the world itself would appear in your world slots. if you go to join a server then the entrance appears in the form of a stylized door portal. the doors can grow and change to reflect the servers

in the event that your comm were to say, die or whatever other typical compiter issues that causes a computer to just. suffer, you would get almost immediately get sent back to your failsafe server. from there you would wait for itself to fix itself before heading back to whatever server u were on. if it were to break though, due to an accident or it simply just getting worn from use, u would have to wait for a replacement comm. until then, ur basically just stuck in ur failsafe server.

mcc, as a whole, runs mainly on portals to keep the entire event working. transportation to and from different games as well as failsafes. its essentially to mimimize player death (though death in mcc is painless and harmless, they prefer 2 play is safe... juuusstt in case)

im not going to cover ALL mcc area/games bc thats alot and this is just tired rambling but anyways

starting off with the descision dome! this is less abt the actual mechanics of the descision making bc i feel like its pretty self explainatory, and moreso about the descision dome platforms.

this is actually based off the older version of the descison dome where the players would go UP to head 2 games instead of down but i honestly still like this sooo..

there really isnt much to say? the platform moves up into the portal thats hidden at the top of the team platforms oit of view at the start of games and the platform opens to drop teams into the dunktank lol.

anyways. rocket spleef! people who already have wings get to use em and the rest get elytra backpacks :D nothing too special there bit the SHOVELS is where its at bro

basically the shovels r used as intended to launch players around off blocks and such but at the very end theres a little contraption that allows the players to shoot energy blasts at other players 4. yk. sabatoge. or any extra boost ig

and im starting to get tired so! one more thing! we're coming back 2 cameras hell yeaaahhhhh

usually cameras are rather small drone like things that follow a player around. they can be connected to the player so to speak, giving us first person pov. that being said, there are other models of cameras that streamers can use to record as well if theres a specific vibe they're tryibg to get :]

like comms they can come in different varietys beyond just basic modification :D

and yeah thats all i got its 3am and i started at 1am im so tired also if this wasnt super well written oh well this was mainly 4 fun anyway ^_^

House of Mouse Review: Not So Goofy or The Ungoofy Is Upon Us!

Welcome back to the RIDE OF THE THREE CABLLEROS. And i’m hitting the ground running to continue the trek after some lessened activity over the holiday weekend. Especially with Christmas season already there.. and.. things to take care of. 

Your time will come, you blighted hell of an episode. But no today we’re talking about something actually good! It’s Not So Goofy! It’s back on in to the house of mouse as this was only one year after the previous episode. We’re on to season 2 though frankly i’d have to re-watch more of the show to spot a difference. The show really didn’t change all that much between seasons. The only difference i’ve heard of is Pete is ENTIRELY absent this season, so my long spiel on him being on the show continues to be worthless and I continue to not regret it. But since I covered most of the stuff I knew about the series and how much I liked it last time we can dive straight into the episode> And this one was a treat for me as Goofy was my faviorite watching this show back in the day and is tied with donald now as my faviorite of the classic characters.. not that it’s hard competition but still I love both. Goofy is kind, clumsy, and a loving father, he’s who we are and who we want to be all in one. As with last time, which you can find on the disney tab on my blog, i’ll be reviewing the host segment seperate from the short’s for coherency’s sake. So with that in mind...

NOT SO GOOFY: Hot Goofy on Beast Action We open with Mickey intorducing the show and everyone chanting house of mouse, house of mouse, which makes me want a version of the show that’s a disney fight club, with over the top smash bros or scott pilgrim style battles. God that’s a project I never completed.. reviewing that series... maybe some day i’ll just start from scratch and do that.. HINT. Point is instead  of Disney Fight Club, we get goofy breaking a bunch of shit, because this episode he’s extra clumsy. Though thanks tot his I am reminded the HOM’s jaintoral staff is the brooms from fantasia, which is a nice touch and we get a nice bit of Minnie sending all of them after Goofy keeps breaking stuff. So despite Mickey being the one interrupted constantly, everyone else is hte one to point it out, Minnie politley everyone else just sorta barging in. I was going to give out about them giving out when none of them were effected but.. really bad wait service really dose impact them all: Donald is co owner so if goofy injures someone he has to help pay the setlement, Minnie runs the staff and has had to have her brooms work double to clean up, Hoarace has to clean up structural damage, Daisy is guest services so she has to hear about it, Clarabelle only heard a rumor and Gus is chef so he has to remake the food. So i’m sympathetic to all of them.. except Gus. Gus your only gimmicks are your lazy, you eat things, and in animations case you only communicate by honking obnoxiously. You don’t get to insult a comedic genuis for doing his bit. 

But Goofy overhears this and is upset, saying they want him to be the oppsitie of goofy, ungoofy. I mean technically your right, but an ungoofy would be something more like this. 

“I WAIT INSIDE YOUR HOUSE UNTIL THE CRESENT DAWN THEN ONE BY ONE YOU’LL ALL BE GONE. “

See nothing like goofy. But no ungoofy in this episode’s case is just goofy acting refined and posh. And to help with that after the first cartoon, aka half the episode as i’m now realizing is standard, is...

I will never get tired of doing that. Rob Paulsen is back as Jose, and does a MUCH BETTER job this time. Though really that’s also because he has more to actually work with this time, so he can actually play the character. Him being a white guy playing a Brazilian is still unfortunate, still not his fault, and was covered more last time. We’ll get into how Jose helps goofy after the cut. 

So Jose helps goofy try to ungoofy himself.. which as established isn’t how that works but hey. So we get a funny montage of Goofy learning the ropes of being significant, getting a turkey on his head, and backslapping jose so hard he flies into the next room and goofy wonders where he is. I don’t have much to add, it’s just funny. It’s why reviewing comedy is hard. Besides being subjective sometimes that’s the most you can say. 

So it works, and Goofy helps everyone in a dignified manner.. and this is where the plot starts to slip up slightly, as for starters Goofy’s apperance is the same, he’s just closing his eyes a lot. He’s also not really doing anything wrong... the closest he gets is massaging bugs out of the beasts hair when he has an itch. 

And that’s because he didn’t ask if they have an open marraige.. I mean they probably do, Belle’s open minded and beast has needs, but still, he should’ve asked. Otherwise it’s going great.  As for where it goes wrong.. it’s because he dosen’t really DO anything bad. He isn’t an uptight jerkass about it or anything, he isn’t mean or tyranical to the customers or dosen’t transition to that he’s just.. not himself. Which isn’t good, btu the most he does in that regard is just not give the goofy laugh. Mickey and Minnie just suddenly kind of decided “Whelp this is bad let’s fix that”. And Disney would do this better, one of the Mickey Mouse shorts had Minnie, swooning over a sophisicated gentelman type on tv, give Mickey finishing lessons which turned him into a snobbish monster who broke up with her for daring to serve Bologna and not having a waiter. That WORKED.. and not just because we got Donald and Goofy kidnapping Mickey. But because we were shown there was nothing wrong with him in the first place, and there was something bad with the change. 

Here Goofy’s just.. compitent at his job. he’s not cruel to say max or clarabelle, he’s just refined. He should be himself, i’m entirely on board with that, but he’s not shown being worse off. I’m not saying he should stay posh, just give him a clear reason why his life is worse off this way is all. It’s basic storytelling.  But since Jose can’t just.. undo his training because he dosen’t know how they bring in Panchito! And we get another delightful song as Panchito tries to give a good lesson on being yourself with the help of his fellow cabs by explaning his long ass middle name... with Rob Paulsen’s voice. Yeah while Rob dosen’t play Panchito outside of song, he does end up voicing him for the number, likely because of his signature rapid fire delivery in music, but still does a GREAT job at that too. Serously I wasn’t just trying to placate people calling him a legend last time, he REALLY is fantastic, he was just given nothing to work with and here the diffrence shows as the song is really catchy, really beautifully animated and really fun and really plays to Rob’s strengths. Again casting a white man as a Latino is .. pretty sketchy, but it’s not Rob’s fault and i’m sure if Carlos was even offered the song, or even if he wansn’t, Rob apologized for it and made sure it was okay> Wether it actually was I don’t know but I can’t genuinely see Rob Paulson as the kind of guy to be racisit or steal rolls or any of that stuff. It’s likely they just knew he could sing fast and wanted to do that and dind’t think through implications. 

The song dosen’t quite work so they play a short, and when that fails Mickey closes the show sincerly thanking everyone and apologizing to Goofy. Goofy is restored.. horay? What do you think ungoofy?

“SOON THE APOTHEOSIS WILL BE APON THEE AND ALL WILL BE GOOF. ALL WILL BE GOOF. “ Oh you always say that Final Thoughts on Not So Goofy Wraparound: Not terrible, but it’s really thin plot wise. but joke and song wise it’s REALLY good, so overall i’d say i’ts just okay> Not a great or memorable plot, or an original one really, btu the use of the cabs is FAR better this time around, the song is really damn good, and there are some good jokes, so overall it works. Like the last one the wraparound is nothing specail, but it’s still deeply entertaining. Speaking of entertaining, let’s talk shorts. 

Roller Coaster Painters:  It’s one of those old “Mickey, Donald and Goofy” have a buisness deals, where all are hired to paint a rollercoaster with the person who does the most getting a free pass for life and Donald naturally being the only one who cares. A paint war insues between Donald and Mickey... mostly because Donald wants the prize real bad and Mickey wants to “give him a run for his money” instead of just helping him because he’s a dick I guess? I dunno, but it escalates to them paiting each other and, in my favorite part, Donald stealing shit from the park to create a paint arsenal for himself, forging the prize to get his revenge. Fun paint base fighting ensues, and Goofy inevitably wins and rips the thing. SImple, but really charming with really fluid and wonderful animation helping accenutate the hyjinks. Really good slaptstick stuff and a VAST improvment over the last episode’s longer short. 

Goofy’s Extreme Sports Wakeboarding:  Just a fun, silly skit of Goofy wakeboarding, my faviorite bit being him doing the tantrum, which his him doing a child’s tantrum in mid-air. What was your faviorite bit UnGoofy?

“BEHOLD MY SEED, THE SEED OF YOUR DOOM, THE SEED OF ALL WORLDS AND THE SEED OF ALL BLOOMS!” 

Awwwwww.... he has a kid now. 

How to Wash Dishes: Another How to Bit. Not as strong as the last one but still fun and throughly relatable as Goofy’s a dishwasher, which having been one twice now, I can relate to his surly disposition at the narrator guy talking it up. The Narrator then.. has goofy run up credit card debt because he’s a terrible person, hijinks ensue, and Goofy ends up.. washing dishes. Overall a fun short, and again relatable as Washing Dishes is not great. Not quite as good as the other two, but still enjoyable because well. it’s goofy after all. 

OveralL Thoughts: This was more like it. While the plot of the main segment was kind of thin and nonsensical in places... it worked because this is more of a comedy show and the wraparounds are more focused on jokes and crossover gags than a real plot, and worked SLIGHTLY better. The shorts were also really great, making this a hell of a lot more fun to watch. I kno everybody hates my Immortal which means you hate it to. but you’re wrong! my Immortal is practicly better than than og book. its full of real emotion and real life stuf that harry potter never talk about! Like s*x, and killing.! real, raw things. Jk rowling was to focused on money to risk it big with real things.

i love love love harry, because if we didnt have harry we wouldn’t have me Immortal!! but I also hate it. it’s complex, and i dont want to splain it all. and i know it for real, because………..: well let me tell you!!

first you shold know im an actor and i do all my acting in outfits from my Immortal. thats anoyher reason its so good because of the details. i can make the exact outfits for my acting because the writer was so descripting with what ebony darkness dementia raven way (aka Enoby) worr all the time. i dont get alot of acting jobs because not everyone wants Enoby clothes but thats okey cause the acting i do is very nich and based on love and emotion. i know people who like it like it and thats all i need. if i made to much money i would be angry cause i dont do it for the money i act for love and s*x (real stuff!!!)

i got an job at harry potter universal studios once!! they were making ads before it opend so they needed alot of EXTRAS. normally i dont do extra acting, but it was for harry fr*eakin potter so i thought it was a good idea. i even got to wear an Enoby outfit!! black lace-up boots with high heels with ripped red fishnets and a black leather minidress with all the corset stuff on the back and front and matching fishnet on the arms. they wanted real people to visit the park so they wanted real outfits people wear and I wear it all the time so…………..

anyway at the job. i got to see everything first before anyone else got to go to the park and it was ANAZING!!! diagonal ally had an actual dragon and they sold butterbeer. we got free butterbeer while we were being extras. it didnt taste anything like I thot it would but it was still pertty good.

it was a lot of walking and i didnt get to ride on any of the rides because they werent going yet. but i got to see the dragon breathe fire……………until it didnt!!! the dragon broke while i was there. i saw it moving and hear noises but no flire.

im not a handygirl (im an actor!!) but id hear alot of stories about kicking a compiter to make it work again so i thought……………………….. maybe i could fix it and be a hero!!

i went in to the bulding and went up and up and up the stairs (sneaking so no one would see me) and found the dragon room where all the computers are. and and there i found……………

I was VERY angry then! I worked for passion and real things and i was doing just fine! (except for this extra gig and that was different) I told her that, and she got very angry then to. “it doesnt matter!! with all my money i dont have to care abymore!!”

i was so angry i wanted to slap Jk. i didnt and instead i left. i walked away and i…. gave her the f*nger! she shouted at me but I was already gone.

and thats why i know my Immortal is better. and yourr wrong about it. Jk rowling HERSELF said so. i ledt the park before i got paid because real things are more important to me than money. i went home and tried out every single outfit from my Immortal just to feel better.

i know it sounds crazy but if you just look at the ad you can see me in the background. (i didnt get paid for it but they used me anyway!!! yuck!!) and that’s proof right there.

My last Con and why I'm giving up on them

Okay. Lets start by I live in Perú. All I'm going to talk about of cons here and what I know about them.

Selling things in a table is a bussiness, a bussiness I'm relativily new at since I've been a year and a half in it. So as you can guess the sales have taken a nose dive since the first time I was at one. Everytime I go to a con I sell less regardless of having new merchandize. I have afew ideas why this might be.

1) I cant compite with the stolen art: Perú doesnt give a shit. So normally there is the artists ally and what people print from the internet and sell it. Anything, from official art to fanart they print and sell it in mass. So they have a bit of everything without much effort. Which I can't do since I spend time on my pieces. I can't have everything. I don't have the time to do this and so makes it difficult to deal with.

2) This stolen art shops have very cheap prices: The price their stuff is very low considering the fact that they don't spend a single second on it. They sell prints on A3 lets say for 3 dollars cheap while I'm to sell my art for 10. By the end of the say I'm having to reduce them to 5. It won't even sell then. It's difficult for me to reduce more. Maybe I should but I feel there would be no consideration for my art work and time if I do so.

3) The cons don't care: So we tried to talk about this with the organizers. The stolen art and they said they didn't notice but they would try next time. They won't. This is not the first time and it won't be the last. It always happens and nobody stops it because nobody gives a shit. As long as this people pay for their tables at the con it doesn't matter to the organizers what they are selling or how pixelated the jpg on the print they stole from is. They already won money so they can do whatever they want at the tables.

4) The public doesn't care either: simple as that. They don't care the art is stolen they are just gonna buy it and compare everyone to everyone. They wanna do it themlseves somestimes and don't see nothing wrong with this behavior. I'm not sure what to do about this one. That's just deep rooted in the stupidity of my country and there is no way to fix it. We are just used to get the easy and cheap way out and well... I can't do anything against that.

5) Most of the cons here are anime related: So as you can guess I can't sell as much as if I were to go to a comic convention of sorts. I'm not saying this would fix it but it would help. Anime con goers go to buy anime not comic material. And if you are wondering if I have tried to adapt and draw anime. Yes I have... I hated it. I don't like a lot of anime and having to draw for things I hate constantly butns my brain. While those sell slightly better I have NO wishes on continuing with this.

6) My art style doesn't fit anywhere: This is more of a personal problem since there are artistic lines and sadly the peruvian one is not mine. So I tried to draw popular anime to get sales in my style. Big mistake. It won't sell bcs its not the anime style. Other people can do this but I can't. My style doesn't go with it. So not only I hate what I draw I also have to draw in ways I don't find it satisfying just to sell.

And yes. If you are wondering there aren't a lot of comic artists out here.

7) Another bunch of issues that are related to my table partners: I share table with other 2 people so the prices aren't killing us when we pay for the table. Bcs its a 3 voting system as you guess we only go to anime cons bcs its cheaper and well.. Its their alley. So while I do outsell them sometimes I'm already getting shafted from the get go. The comic conventions in the area are 'too expensive' for us and I guess that is true. But that is my only venue to PROBABLY sell better. I would still be competing to what I mentioned before so it is not going to be that easy. Also its not convenient for them to sell anime in a convention about comics... They are 2 of the 3 of us so... You can guess where I'm going.

Fundamentally as a team we are lacking lots of things to make this workable and the main problem is funds. While I can mostly afford a lot due the fact of freelancing and commissions having my back they can't. And while I have been helping to pay a lot and throw as much money that I have as I can... Well I'm throwing money away. I can't handle that anymore. I can't be the person who pays anymore. I'm tired.

So that is about it for now. I have a lot more to say but I guess this sums it up. Yesterday was a disaster but it opened my eyes to a lot of things. Maybe I should have done it earlier. Who knows. But I'm stepping out of the peruvian con system. Not that it's going to matter. Nobody knows me there.
