When Rio and Agatha interacts for the first time in the first episode, Rio chuckles when Agatha says "eat my ass, chief". I believe that's because she is relieved there is stil some of Agatha in Agnes.

And please can we just talk about how absurd this first dialogue is ? It's because it's so absurd you can realize this show's dialogue were really well written. I mean I could analyse each sentence of it. (I might if nobody stops me)

I figured you might have a misunderstanding as to what a wolf walker is. They don’t possess the minds of wolves it’s that they’re so leaves their body and becomes a wolf.

But in your, you can have it that they become like ghost wolves when they’re so leaves their body, because it’s literally their spirit leaving their body. It’s kind of cool actually. So you could have it as sabo a ghost wolf

So I read a bit abt the show this is from, and that mixed with this means perhaps my reading comprehension will work this time, hopefully

I feel like that would be very strange that Sabo has this ability (and it seems like children have it in the source material so I'll table the 'only discovering the wolf stuff post-explosion' idea for now) so it was likely his parents discovered it and made Sabo very worried abt it. To be fair Sabo was a city folk at the time and had never actually seen a wolf in person so it was completely plausible for him to just sum it up as a monster. It made Sabo a bit worried about sleeping at first because he didn't want to be a monster but that went away the more resentful he became to his parents.

After that, he appreciated his wolf a lot, it helped ward off creeps and thieves while he was sleeping in gray terminal, and Sabo had never actually attacked anyone so he stopped being insecure - especially after seeing Ace transform on a full moon (even if it was a little hard to overpower him, luckily Ace was still weak from the pain of transformation long enough Sabo could tie him down. He did feel bad abt this) and realizing they could both be strange wolf children.

Then Luffy happened, and while Sabo was hesitant at first Luffy absolutely adored him dream wolf form so he felt like he had nothing to worry about

Also I'm pretty sure the source says the wolf would look normal but dream/night/star/map symbolism so I really want it to look like a glowing constellation and cutout of space--
