When I was in my preteens to early teens I was really really obsessed with this animator on YouTube (I still like her a lot but I’m normal now) and the thing is she’s like. Not that much older than me. Like at that time she was only in her late teens, early 20s maybe later on. And the other thing is at the time I had a really bad relationship with my mother. And the final thing is she was a pretty niche artist, like she did have a dedicated fanbase but it was not a huge one, so she did engage with us pretty frequently and bc I already knew her from FC i did talk to her semi-frequently.

So um all this culminated in me drawing her something for Mother’s Day and sending it to her. Like. I made her an entire drawing for Mother’s Day. and the time I didn’t think about it as weird, but now I’m the age she was at that point and I’m just imagining some freak ass 13 year old sending me a drawing proclaiming me as her mother. And I’m like. Oooh god.
