Okay, heres a thought. I do wonder, what if Lu Guang has thought about preventing Cheng Xiaoshi from finding out about his powers?

As we know, Lu Guang is trying to keep the timeline as identical as possible and gets freaked every time something is different, but what if he has those thoughts in the back of his head? Perhaps hes wanted to just go back ditch the rules of the timeline and not get involved with this at all. To never have to encounter Vein, Liu Xiao or even the Li twins, etc. What if hes thought about having a completely normal life without powers? What if hes wanted to live calmly with Cheng Xiaoshi in their photo studio?

What if Lu Guang thought about never using his own powers? What if he never wanted them in the first place? Lu Guang couldve wished to never even be born with these powers at all; to have a normal life with Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling. Someone mentioned once that the first episode of Yingdu may have been the first time hes used his power. What if thats what original timeline Lu Guang had planned: to never use his powers and be free from that? Maybe moving in with Cheng Xiaoshi was his chance for a fresh start.

Its lowkey sad to me that maybe he wishes that everything would be normal. That he would be normal. That there would be no powers and no death; just him and his friends in the photo studio.

I fully agree!

He should be the master story teller, changing to look like the characters he’s reading about. He should be the tickle monster. Chasing around the other toys and having fun catching them and making them squeal and giggle. He should be able to have fun swinging around like a monkey on some pipes or beams. He should be the master of hide and seek. Where no one can find him but he’s also really good at finding them. He could have some fun building forts out of blankets and pillows. Or even himself!

There are so many ideas for him to have fun and be a kid along with the toys he protects. Similar to a caring father, Playing is an important part of caring for kids and building strong relationships.

I think doey should be allowed to be a little silly with himself. He should draw an exaggerated curly mustache on his face with his finger and walk around "twirling" it. He should do the "gravity is increasing on me" bit and just melt on top of somebody. He should have dough-ball fights with the other toys where he is the ammo. He should be the undefeated champion of the weekly safe haven dance competition with his signature move: The worm. He should be a little goofy.
