I’ve had this in my sketches since May, so FINALLY, I have a finished piece for this heartwrenching concept that took a hold of me and wouldn’t leave until I created it.

thinking about 6x12 evan buckley running to that same firefighter's house to escape his own apartment and the couch that isn't right or comfortable and the people who keep visiting him and trying to take care of him, and the first thing he does is sit down on a couch that he knows and that feels right and comfortable, and puts his feet up and immediately relaxes enough to fall asleep before eddie can even get their beers out of the fridge, and when he wakes up he feels grounded and right and safe, and they actually talk about some of their shared trauma while sitting at the kitchen table as eddie pours him a glass of water and makes their son's lunch for the next day and listens as buck opens up about how he's been feeling and answers buck's questions about the shooting without hesitation, and they both give each other the softest looks and i just

BURST INTO FLAMES INFRONT OF HIM IN THE ADVENTURE GAMES. oh and if you count the Archie comics, THE DUDE GOT FUCKING MICROWAVED BY HIS FATHER WITH CHAOS ENERGY, HAD TO WATCH HIM FAKE HIS DEATH AND ALWAYS HAVE THE LINGERING NOTION THAT THIS MAN IS ALWAYS WATCHING HIM IN HIS BATTLES

last but not least, everyone else's post-canon verses/aus. note that these won't include "pro hero" verses for the 1a kids. those will be separate. under the cut:

all might - once the threat is over, the kids/teachers are allowed to return to live at their homes (rather than dorms). toshinori buys a nice-not-too-big house for him, aizawa, and eri to move into together. he and shota are finally able to be together without a massive threat looming over their heads, and eri gets the childhood she so deserves beneath them.

deku - 2a student. she's working with the embers of ofa until they're gone. until then, she's brainstorming with hatsume, melissa shield, and all might on a way to make her a suit that replicates ofa. she'll get this shortly after she loses the ofa embers. its ridiculous to me that it took 8 years just to get the kid a suit. anyways.

fatgum - he's pretty much just doing what he always does. when suneater graduates, he takes him on as a sidekick. he's a big advocate for heroes with quirks that relate around the body/consumption/and cause for unconventional appearances.

ingenium (tensei ver.) - after losing his ability to walk, i have him starting his own physical therapy clinic for injured heroes. understandably, the demand for that after the war is high. he takes on people like hawks, endeavor, and so on.

lemillion - pro hero. though he's so new to the scene, his enthusiasm helps him rise pretty quickly in fame and notoriety. he's slowly working on starting a hero agency with long-term partner, suneater.

maboromie - pro hero. its totes cray that they survived the whole war arc and now she's in her healing era. maboromie is an undercover hero, so she doesn't get ranked in the billboard. i have her using her illusions to disguise herself and infiltrate gangs, human trafficking rings, etc. she gets what info she needs and gets out.

ms. joke - similar to fatgum, she's doing the same as she always has. student for ketsubutsu. your silly mom! often takes trips to see eri and aizawa.

nighthide - 2a class student. shinso has taken on a hero name and is continuing to work as hard as he can to be the best hero he can be. in addition to this, he's working on letting others in, rather than shutting them out, out of fear of rejection and judgement.

overhaul - see here.

skeptic - they serve time after being captured. eventually, they're released somewhat early after helping the government crack a few cold cyber cases. they return as ceo of feel good inc thanks to the mighty help of lawyers, and work as needed as a cyber crime expert for the government.

stain - he goes back to serving time, though it's reduced by his near sacrifice for all might. he attends mandated therapy sessions, and is often called upon for profiling assistance by the heroes.

star and stripe - upon nearly being decayed, she's taken back to the states for immediate care. her efforts helped the heroes of japan immensely, and now the rest was up to them. after healing up, she returns to work as normal, though takes a trip to japan to check up on the country's progress.

yaomomo - 2a class vice representative. she's more confident now, and doesn't have that awful bathing suit esque hero costume. see this costume for ref.
