bass (left) and uke (right)!! they're pretty chill with each other, best friends! bass does annoy uke to hell n fuckin back though but yeah they're silly. you know the dynamic straight laced guy with sillier guy shawn and gus core. uke tries to keeps bass on track while bass makes sure uke ain't too serious yanno? they're my favourite btw

oh uke's eyes are different? yeah he's normally stylized like a cartoon character with the glasses moving like eyes/eyebrows, as shown below

damn this is the only other photo I can post son of a fuck anyways these are the hands for all of them. bass and voice are right handed, uke and keys are left handed, while beat is ambidextrous.

all of them have the same polish on both hands, except for keys who has inverse colours on each hand

also the lighter colour on bass and keys' nails is white, however the lighter colour on beat's nails just shows that it isn't painted he doesn't. he doesn't paint his nails except for his thumbs for some reason MAN IDK

I love fics where Loop comes back to existence after a longer time, because ingame it’s Loop, who failed, guiding a naiver self through the loops and seeing their ’self’ change in front of their eye.

But if they return after a time, they’re basically a snapshot of ’siffrin’ from the loops, as our Siffrin was able to heal and grow after, while Loop wasn’t. Now in turn, Siffrin gets to see their other self change in real time but for the healthier this time🥹🫶

Also a big fan of the identity questions this raises. In a way, Loop would be closer to what ”siffrin” was like before and during the loops than Siffrin would be, so who’s ”siffrin” and what does it mean to be ’them’ ?

Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the changes they made from the og Black Codex to Veilguard to make Mythal a more active participant of the big events that shaped Thedas. Like I know some people feel this was done to take the blame off Solas, but I still feel there's plenty of blame for him to get his share, and just. look I'm not blaming the artist, I don't know what went into making that concept art, but I much prefer a Mythal that is a co-author of war crimes to protect the People she created and that has earned her name as an Evanuris one bloody deed at a time, than have her be the lady who just looks scared in the background while Extra Manly Solas does Things (also, as others have pointed out: having Solas be the only person doing interesting things in Ancient Arlathan is Boring)

PS: Was gonna say this in the notes, but I think is important to note, that Mythal being the one to sunder the Titans was probably already decided by Tresspasser at least, since it's in that DLC when the "isatunoll" elven song about Mythal stealing the Titans' dreams appears for the first time. So not all the changes were decided during Veilguard's development, probably.

I think rook's expressions change quite a bit in how they come across depending on how you've constructed their face in a really interesting way, but there does seem to be a little bit more of an Edge to it in that second one huh lol. like is that a brief flash of bitterness? discomfort or guardedness over being Perceived against your will? sardonic amusement? a mix of all of these and more? pick whatever sets your brain on fire the most and go wild with it
