Hi! I've been wanting to draw a house for years now coz I'm no good at it but here we are now and I've finally done it. Colored it in Photoshop so it's a bit wonky (I swear I paint better than that, lol), but I think it turned out well, tbh.

This spawned from a world I've been trying to build for about 7 years now (to no avail) and at this point I'm just trying to enjoy it all. The red-head sitting at that plant box is Diadem and the person in black/shadow is Eua. They're off to go to the market and so Diadem is sitting out at the porch while waiting for Eua to lock the house. Overall pretty wholesome and mundane, just so that there's life in everything on the page and it's not just a house. I think it ties it all in.

im a little late to my own party so whoops on that. BUT SERIOUSLY THANK YOU!!!! i say this pretty much everytime but i appreciate everyone who takes the chance to read my work :]

I've been running this blog for a little over 4 years now and it's always amazing to see how much I've grown this account, as a writer, and as a person. like it's a little silly how i started this account right around the time i finished applying for college. and as of a couple of days ago, i just finished applying for PhD programs (watch me not get in to any LMA0).

either way, thank you so much to everyone who reads, likes, comments, reblogs, requests, or just lingers around on my blog WHAHAHAH. i see you and i love you <3 ALSO HAPPY NEW YEAR it's like the beginning of 2025 so i hope wherever you are, this year turns out well for you! fingers crossed!!

and one more thing. i finally decided to get off my ass and start doing a little housekeeping. if im being honest, this will likely take me all year. but expect some changes in the future! it's nothing drastic, but i do plan on cleaning my masterlists so they're easier to navigate and actually go back and proof a lot of my old stuff. and maybe a couple of tagging updates. so if in the future, you see any broken links, please let me know!

oh and i'll still be writing requests and what not. but im kinda famous now so im loyal fans deserve better fan spaces WHAHAHAHAH ok but no, things won't be too different in the future- just a little cleaner and easier to navigate. but yeah! just wanted to let you all know what was coming in the future!

I'll have you know that I'm actively trying to not constantly send in asks! I have so many thoughts all the time, currently I'm wondering if the gods can shapeshift like the calamities can. Because I've only read Mdzs and now I'm wondering if JZX can change his appearance? Does his statue look like him? Would WWX wonder why this god looks so familiar? Would they pass each other on the street not realizing who the other is?

canonically in the tgcf verse, the gods/heavenly officials can freely change appearance too ! :D tho most of the time they shapeshift not for their own fulfilment but for the sake of their jobs instead 🤷 some are worshipped better if they presented as male, for example. idt jin zixuan has thought of changing his appearance nor will he want to, but he does have the ability as all gods do ~ his statues will not look like him precisely since his worshippers are the ones making statues and not all of them have enough skill to accurately portray him :3 also a lil headcanon of mine is that ascension does affect the appearance a lil bit, like making their appearance more flawless and more 'otherworldly'

so as of the present, jin zixuan and jiang yanli's faces have changed a bit and we know wwx is now wearing a fake face so idt they wld be able to recognise each other if their paths ever cross 😔
