Friday Fic Rec 9/6
Tumblr media
Thanks for your submissions! Here are the recs for our first week. (Titles are links to each fic)
All the magic we made by @iwishyouwouldstop
"I'm always shocked this fic doesn't have 1000 kudos. It's so damn good."
Description: Kate and Anthony grow up together, learn to harness their magic together and are certain nothing can tear them apart. Until something does. Now they are strangers who occasionally publicly humiliate each other in between finding means to survive in a world that is increasingly hostile to their kind. Then Anthony commits the ultimate betrayal and Kate's retribution results in a life-threatening curse that forces them to work together.
Status: WIP (18/?) Rating: E
Love Doesn't Burn. by magicalmenagerie
"This fic isn’t finished, and the author hasn’t updated it since 2023, but it’s still one of my favorites. I love how it mixes the past and the present, and how the two characters were involved during the worst phase of their lives and then reconnect when they’re more mature."
Description: Anthony is trying to forget his past. Kate is trying to remember as much as possible. They’re both too young to know what they fall into is not love. Until much later, they finally do. (A second chances au riddled with miscommunication, infatuation, and incomprehensible philosophical musings)
Status: WIP (11/14) Rating: E
The Hope That Keeps You and One Last Weekend by @helenakwayne
"They have very different vibes but they’re both soo good and I think they’re less known fics in the fandom. I would say read the hope that keeps you if you’re looking for something more fun and fluffy, and one last weekend if you want angst (with a happy ending of course)."
Description: The Hope That Keeps You: Kate Sharma loves football because her father loved a certain West London club, so she made it her job. Anthony Bridgerton loves football because his father loved a certain West London club, so he bought it—or at least some of it. They’re all supporting the same side, so there should be nothing but harmony, right? It’s not like they unnecessarily complicate everything for no reason.
One Last Weekend: On the weekend of Simon Basset’s and Daphne Bridgerton’s wedding, Anthony Bridgerton and Kathani Sharma try to finally get what they both need after years of pursuing what they thought they wanted.
Status: Both Complete Rating: E
I'd Give All I Have, Honey (If You Could Stay Like That) by @newtonsheffield
"23 year old Anthony is a himbo and causes a LOT of tears for Kate but ends perfectly."
Description: The one constant in Anthony Bridgerton's life was Kate Sharma. They'd spent their entire childhoods together, she was as part of him that could never leave him. But the time to grow up came sooner than he thought it would. And he doesn't know why the sight of men queueing outside the Sharma's townhouse makes him sick to his stomach.
Status: Complete Rating: T
LFTS rec: A Devil's Love by FormerlyIR
Someone asked me about a mafia fic recently, and my mind went straight to this masterpiece. I had to reread it and honestly - it was even better than I remembered. Crazy hot passion wrapped in the most creative, evocative prose.
Description: When Kate's sister goes missing, she gets herself a waitress job at the Pebble Lounge to track her down, working under London’s seedy underbelly to find the only person she has left in this world to love. And Anthony Bridgerton? No matter how alluring and distracting he may be, he’s just a means to an end, his life defined by his family business built on corruption. Kate won’t dance to that tune. She’s just trying to find her sister.
Status: Complete Rating: E
Thanks for your submissions! This will be a weekly thing, so keep your recs coming, and I'm open to suggestions about the format!

I'm reading Isekai/Transmitgation comics again soooo imagine this:
Modern Kate Sharma transmitgated into Regency Kate Sharma's body just after she's reached debut age. The twist is..... Modern Kate thinks she'll be suffering alone..... But she's really not.
Not when text boxes only she can see keep telling her what she should and shouldn't be doing...... It's a never ending Alexa of information that's as helpful as it is fucking annoying.
*Ping* Watcher thinks Kathani should tell Anthony Bridgerton his mouth would be of better use on her own 😇.
Poor Kate can only reply in her head or risk being called mad 🤣😂
Kate's ready to fight those boxes. She did not ask for this! All she wanted was to graduate college, but noooo she had to be sent back to Regency England!
Now she's stuck in the past and that capitol R rake is not helping!
Then, one day, a miracle happens. At a ball she hears from the gardens, "I don't think we can gaslight, gatekeep or girlboss our way out of this one."
Kate knows that phrase. That phrase is definitely not from the regency era.
Rushing towards the garden Kate sees that God forsaken text box but the words are backwards. The text isn't for her.
Staring up at the text box is Penelope Featherington, Lady Featherington's daughter, and Sophie Beckett, Lord Gunningworth's ward.
Both of them are scrunching their noses at whatever the box is telling them.
"Oh thank God I can finally talk to someone about these!"

Love your stories so much.... Can I have more of the Sophie taking Benedict's virginity and him wanting to marry her while Kate tries to hide her AU.... I can't get it out of my head... You have brilliant creativity.
You know I might actually write this and post it one day. I'm going to call it 'Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss' Kate, Sophie and Penelope's comedy of errors during one unfortunate house party
Whereas Kathani Sharma attempts to gaslight Viscount Bridgerton into beleiving that
1) No such girl named Sophie took his Brother's Virginity
2) Sophie Gunningworth doesn't exist, and that her suspicious maid Sophie Beckett, is not in fact the daughter of an Earl wearing a maid's clothes
3) that Kate has not kissed him repeatedly in the library to keep him from asking more questions about Sophie. Because really to imagine someone like Kate pushing him against a bookcase and kissing him like Sophie's life depends on it? honesty that sounds like a crazy story, Viscount Bridgerton must have been quite in his cups
4) that Kate did not show him her decolletage to distract him from seeing Sophie hiding in her room and that the subsequent hickeys of that encounter are simply allegic reactions to Kate's cosmetics. Because if Viscount Bridgerton had in fact seen Kate's breasts and done unspeakable things to her, then that would be scandalous and wrong and he obviously imagined it and she can't believe he would go so far as to fantasize about something that never happened. Kate Sharma will not stay here to encourage the delusions of Viscount Bridgerton's senile old head. His imagination and delusions of kissing and seducing Kate in the library are too wild. really.
Sophie, will continue to gatekeep to death, avoiding Benedict's attempts at finding her, because she absolutely doesn't want to get married and he's out there carrying her glove and proclaiming she's his one true love. When Sophie just wanted to have a hot night with a handsome lover. No ammout of good intentions in bed are worth losing her inheritance to Araminta if she marries before she's a spinster. Also Sophie came out to have fun and now she's feeling so attacked. Was she really that good at taking his virginity that he's so obsessed now??? #VirginGate
And finally Penelope is encouraged (tricked and ambushed more likely) by Sophie and Kate into well.. girlbossing her way into becoming the center of attention of the ton... and making Colin Bridgerton explode in jealousy (did we mention he's back from Italy?) . Because apparently if Anthony and Benedict are trying to keep Colin from killing every man who looks at Penelope's plump kissable lips for too long. Then they will be too distracted to notice Kate sneaking Sophie back to her father in London with the nearest bribable carriage available. Yup! Penelope's job is to drive Colin crazy. Then of course said mad idiot will become a nuisance to his brothers in an attempt to deny his feelings for Penelope. And Sophie and Kate will be free to avoid the Viscount and the not-virgin for the rest of the house party
Tumblr media
Their plans will not backfire. At all
You know maybe I will write it this weekend. Who knows.

Lilies and Soap: 8 - Hyde Park
“Everyone is here
But no one can find us
Their voices are near
But no one can find us
How long, my dear
Until we’re found out?”
“Hyde Park” by Lilies and Soap.
Lyrics by A. E. Bridgerton and K. K. Sharma
Amma: Kathani, you are under no obligation to do anything, but please tell me you and Anthony talked.
Mummy: Of course, they've talked.
Ed Edd and Eddy: Yep. I bet they are “talking” right now. Like, so much “talking.”
Amma: So crass.
Amma: But, yes, that would be my guess.
Mummy: Darling, just let us know you’re OK.
Ed Edd and Eddy: Oh, Anthony is taking good care of her, I’m sure.
Mummy: We get it, Winnie.
Ed Edd and Eddy: She’ll text us when he lets her come up for air. Don’t worry, Mums.
Ed Edd and Eddy: Kate, you should know Mum recorded the re-airing of the show in the middle of the night–FOR YOUR WEDDING!!
--I would expect nothing less.
Ed Edd and Eddy: She lives! Is your lower half functional?
--Christ, Ed.
Ed Edd and Eddy: I’ll take that as a no.
Amma: Are you OK, Chellam?
--Yes, I’m good, and yes, I’m with Tony.
Mummy: “With” as in…?
--Yes, “as in…”
Ed Edd and Eddy: Called it!
Amma: So did I, I was just more mature about it.
Mummy: We’re so happy for you two, Darling.
--Thanks, Mum.
Ed Edd and Eddy: So am I!
Amma: Me, too.
Mummy: It’s not a contest. But I won, obviously. I said it first.
Amma: So, you're bringing him home next weekend, yes?
--Amma, I was just there.
Amma: And? Anthony wasn’t.
--It's not like you haven't met him. Mum, please talk to her.
Mummy: But I also want to see you two.
--Ed?
Ed Edd and Eddy: I mean…
--Ugh, I’ll think about it.
Ed Edd and Eddy: You've never turned down a visit before. You love coming here and bossing us around. Are you afraid you and Anthony won't be able to "talk" here?
--Bon, please.
Amma: Ignore her.
Amma: But if that is what you're worried about, you guys can do it while you're here, it's totally fine.
--"Do it"? Oh, my God.
Amma: No pressure, Chellam.
--Yeah, of course not.
Mummy: Don’t roll your eyes, Darling.
--How would you possibly know if I did that?
Ed Edd and Eddy: She definitely did, then.
Amma: Yeah. Cheeky.
Ed Edd and Eddy: Get back to your extracurriculars, Didi. And make sure to hydrate and eat. And I mean food, Kate. Eat food.
--Shut up.
--Love you guys so much. I’ll call later.
Kate barely had time to hit send before her phone was taken out of her hands.
“Good morning.” From behind her, Anthony’s voice was scratchy and deep, and it made Kate wish they could stay in his bed indefinitely. "What news of the outside world?"
"Ed and The Mums are very happy for us."
"Good." Anthony bit her shoulder. "I'm happy for us, too."
“And our presence is being requested–nay, demanded–at home next weekend. Can you? I could say no."
"You never turn down going to Somerset."
“You sound like Ed.”
"Let's go."
Kate turned to look at him with raised eyebrows. "Really?"
"We'll have to check with Ben, but yeah. I want to do all the couple-y things, Lamb, like spend the weekend together with your family."
Kate smiled up at him. "OK."
"OK." Anthony kissed her softly before burrowing under the covers, taking her with him. "Now, speaking of couple-y things…"
"We have a recording session this morning." Kate managed to piece together the sentence between moans.
"That can't be right. Surely, you have your dates wrong." Anthony's muffled voice came from somewhere around her navel.
"If only," Kate breathed.
Anthony reached her hip before asking, "How long do we have?"
Kate looked at her phone. "The absolute longest we can wait to get out of bed is t–"
Anthony's nimble action between her legs made her gasp.
"Trick question. This is happening regardless."
“I need to go my mine, so I’ll meet you at the studio.”
When Anthony didn’t say anything as Kate pulled her shirt on, she turned around and found him legitimately pouting. She walked over and tugged on his bottom lip.
“What?”
“Nothing.” He grabbed her hand as it fell away from his face.
“Bollocks.”
“Let me drive you to your flat and I’ll wait for you to change.”
“No, I am certain I should go by myself. In fact, I reckon I should steer clear of your car for a few days.” She laughed.
Anthony grabbed her other hand and wrapped her arms around him. He kissed her. It was slow at first but once his hands landed on either side of her face, a lot more biting and licking got involved until Kate pushed him away.
“You're proving my point, Tony. We’d never make it to the studio.”
“But… You aren’t wearing any knickers.”
Kate shook her head. “I know, that’s one of the things I need to rectify at home–alone. Where are my torn ones, by the way?”
“Don’t worry about it. They’re of no use to you anymore.”
“But they’re of use to you?” Kate raised an eyebrow.
“Mind your own business, Lamb.”
Anthony ran his thumb over her knuckles. “You sure you don’t want me to drive you?”
“Yeah. I’ll see you soon.” She kissed him on the temple and narrowly dodged an arse grab on her way out.
Benedict looked up from his phone. “Kate says she’s five minutes away–as if you didn’t know that.”
Anthony tried to cover his smirk with his hand.
“Oh, come off it, mate. No one has heard from you since yesterday afternoon. And you didn’t crawl in here looking like you’d been crying all night. In fact, you strolled in ten feet tall and smug as hell, so one can only assume things went well with Kate. Just confirm, please, so I can be happy for you two.”
Anthony leaned back on the sofa and shrugged. “Go on and be happy for us, then.”
Anthony couldn’t help but be moved by Benedict’s genuine grin and fist pump. “Brilliant! Fucking finally.” He dramatically placed a hand on his chest and sighed. “I’m actually happiest for me, I think.”
“Oh, of course, you are.”
The studio door opened, and Anthony could tell by Benedict’s expression that whatever his reaction was to Kate entering the room was nothing short of ridiculous.
Kate looked between the two brothers and sighed in relief. “Good. You already told him. Hiya, Ben.”
“Hello, Kathani. You don’t even look that dishevelled. Ant didn’t live up to expectations?”
“Ben–”
Kate clicked her tongue. “Sorry to disappoint you, Benny, but I just showered and changed. Before that, I promise, I looked thoroughly fucked. Want to see the bruises?"
Anthony looked flushed while Benedict grimaced.
“OK, I regret starting this joke.”
“Good.” Kate grinned.
As she walked past Anthony, he intercepted her and tried to pull her into his lap, but she pushed away from him.
"No."
"Why not?" Anthony whined.
"Because we're professionals, Tony."
"But it's just Ben."
"Hurtful," Benedict scoffed, just as Alice and Tom entered the room.
Kate looked at Anthony with an expression that said, I told you so, now that it wasn't "just Ben."
"So," Tom started, "Change of plans. 'Someone To Keep' has gone viral, so we're gonna keep that momentum going. We need to move fast. Today, we'll work on expanding the instrumentation and adding harmonies for Kate. It's gonna be a push, but if we can record this by tomorrow night, I think we'll be good. We'll release it as a stand alone single. You two are booked to perform it on Sunrise next week. Sound good?"
Anthony looked over at Kate, a bit apologetically.
"Are you OK with recording it, Lamb?"
"Yeah. Are you? It’s your song."
He shook his head and whispered, for her ears only, “It’s yours.”
Kate gave him a subtle smile and nod.
Anthony turned back to Tom and nodded. "Uh-huh, sounds good."
Kate was genuinely excited to record a fully produced version of "Someone to Keep." She wasn't at all worried about its significance being diminished. Anthony had originally performed it on national television, after all. Once they got started, however, what she did start to worry about was getting tired of hearing the song after working on it non-stop for a day and a half.
But singing it with Anthony, getting to share in that experience, his declaration. Seeing how much he was moved by his own words and what they meant. Every touch and look they exchanged during the entire laborious process. All of it gave Kate all the confidence in the world that it was impossible for her to tire of hearing it. It could be their soundtrack for the rest of their lives and that would be more than OK.
They met their deadline, Kate's backing vocals and violin being added to Anthony's principal vocals and piano. At the end of the second night, everyone said their sleepy goodbyes and Tom and Benedict confirmed schedules for the next week.
Tumblr media
Anthony was giving Kate a piggyback ride to his car when he asked, "Where am I taking you?"
The night before, they each slept at their own flats. This marathon of work had been sprung on them. With such a late night followed by an early morning, Kate didn't want to take any time away from the sleep they both needed desperately by going between homes for clothes and toiletries.
"Mmm," she thought, resting her head against Anthony’s. "Mine, please." He nodded and didn't say anything. Kate added, "Do you want to stay over? We get to sleep in tomorrow."
They had gotten to his car and Kate slid off of his back. Anthony turned around and cradled her face in his hands.
"Yes, please." He kissed her softly. "I missed you last night, Lamb."
"Mmm," was all Kate said in response as she tilted her chin up for another kiss. "Be good and let me sleep tonight, and I'll reward you handsomely for it tomorrow, OK?" She slid both hands up under his shirt and kissed his neck. Anthony groaned and pulled her hands down and intertwined their fingers. "Don't do shit like that when you tell me we aren't having sex tonight. It's mean. You also need to be good." His feigned annoyance was undercut by the smile on his face.

Title: Fathoms Below Author: 1016anon Fandom: Bridgerton/Little Mermaid Pairing: Anthony Bridgerton/Kathani Sharma Summary: In which Kathani goes to the surface and Anthony is at the pier.
A/N -- Warning: Major character death
"What are you doing in the water?  You shouldn't be in there."
"Well, you look strange.  Where are your fins?"
"What are you talking about?  I have legs.  Why should I have fins?"
"You're a very strange boy."
"You still haven't answered my question.  What are you doing in the water?"
"I live here."
"I don't believe you.  No one lives in the water.  You're going to drown and die.  My da says so."
"I've been living in the water my whole life.  Maybe you'd drown and die because you have those shrimpy things.  That's what you get for being on the surface-- I bet your fins dried out and split and that's why you can't swim."
"I can too swim!"
"You can't.  You're a stupid little boy and that's why you're stuck on the surface."
"I'm not stupid!  And I'm not a little boy!  I'm nearly eight!"
"Then prove it!"
"Fine!  I will!"
This went about as well as could be expected of a seven year-old boy trying to follow a mermaid down to the ocean's depths.
"So you've never had fins?  Your whole entire life?"
"No."
"Even as a baby?"
"I don't remember, but all my brothers and sisters didn't have fins when they were born."
"How many brothers and sisters do you have?  I have six sisters."
"Six?!  That's a lot.  I only have two, but ma's growing one right now."
"My mum's growing one too.  She visits the egg every day to make sure it's happy."
"You were born in an egg?"
"Of course I was born in an egg.  Weren't you born in an egg?"
"No.  I was born from my mother's belly."
The mermaid looked at him with a great deal of skepticism.
"How did you get out?"
This stumped the human boy.
"I don't remember."
"Then how did your brothers and sisters get out?"
"I don't know.  Ma sends me to my friends and when I come back, there's a baby."
"Hmm," she peered at him with her large brown eyes.  "What's your name?  Do humans have names?"
"We have names!  My name is Anthony."
"That's a strange name."
"It is not!  You think everything is strange."
"My name is Kathani."
"You've a strange name too.  Ka-tha-ni."
"You're very rude."
"You're very rude.  I don't like you."
"I don't like you either."
"You almost drowned me."
"You didn't tell me that humans can't breathe underwater."
"I--"
"Anthony!  I've been searching for you everywhere!  Where have you been?  You're all wet!"
"Ma!  I was talking to Kathani," he turned to introduce her.
There were only ripples.
"Who?"
"Kathani.  She was just here-- she's a mermaid."
His mother looked at him in that pinched expression of fondness and worry.  It was obvious she didn't believe a word he said.
"Come along, Anthony, it's time for supper."
"But she was right there!"
"I'm sure she was, my dear."
"She was!"
Kathani watched as Anthony the Human Boy Who Couldn't Breathe Underwater used his legs to walk down the pier, holding his mother's hand.  It seemed he hadn't been lying-- his mother was growing something in her belly.
Humans were very odd.
--
"I thought you had lessons today."
"Lessons are boring.  All they talk about are angles and constellations."
"You said you have to do well if you want to join the navy."
"I am doing well.  That's why lessons are boring.  What about you, I thought you weren't allowed to come to the surface anymore."
"I may have let a few stingrays loose in the classroom."
Kathani smiled with bright-eyed mischief as Anthony laughed.
"You won't get in trouble?"
"They can't prove I did it."
"Menace," he splashed her.  "I feel sorry for your tutors."
"You said you had something to show me?"
"Here."
Anthony offered her a small pewter figurine.  It had cost a bit of pocket money, but he wasn't going to tell her that.
"What is it?" she asked, awed.
"It's a horse.  I was telling you about them the other day."
"I've seen these around the pier!  They pull the boxes with wheels."
"Carts.  And those are draft horses-- this is a thoroughbred.  They're much faster."
"Humans ride these?"
"Yes.  You need two legs though," he teased.
"Why?  You can just hold onto the neck?"
"No, we have saddles and sit on their backs."
"That doesn't seem very comfortable for the horse.  It doesn't hurt them?"
"I don't think so.  We're much lighter than the carts."
"I wouldn't let anyone sit on my back."
"Why does that not surprise me."
Kathani moved to give the pewter figure back to Anthony, but he shook his head.
"It's for you."
"For me?  Really?"
"Yes."
"Thank you."
Anthony blushed to the tips of his ears, something Kathani either did not notice or did not quite understand.  She, however, was relieved that Anthony could not see the way her scales shimmered underwater.
There was a tug on her fin.  It seemed the very brief amount of time she had was up-- Newton was nudging her with his pointy nose.
"I have to go."
"You promised you'd help me study the constellations."
"Tomorrow night.  You'll have a boat?"
"Yes."
"Then I'll be there at moonrise.  Bring some more hard-tack.  Newton liked those."
Anthony rolled his eyes.
"More evidence that your dogfish has no taste.  Don't splash me!  They'll know I was at the pier!"
Kathani harrumphed, then dove under the water.
--
"Well?  What do you think?"
He turned around for her inspection.
"This is your uniform?"
"Don't say it looks odd.  You've seen enough human clothing now to know how it works."
"I still don't understand it, but it looks nice.  I like it.  This means you're an officer?"
"Something like that.  No longer swabbing the deck anyway.  Here," he carefully perched the ridiculous hat on her head.  "Don't get it wet."
It was crooked and fell over her eyes.  Anthony laughed as he adjusted the angle.  The brim of the hat slowly revealed her eyes, always so large and a clear, beautiful brown.
His breath caught as impossible dreams came to the fore-- dreams which had once limited their reach to night but now followed him into the day.
"It suits you," he said hoarsely.
She kept staring at him.
"Anyway," he cleared his throat.  "I've been assigned to a new ship, the Aquata-- and yes, I know how ridiculous the name is.  I didn't choose my assignment."
"Whose idea was it to name a ship after my sister?"
"I haven't a clue."
"It's bad luck."
"Then you'll just have to sail with me," he replied, aiming for jaunty but coming out too hopeful.
She grimaced.
"Trouble below?"
"Ariel.  She's been sneaking to the surface."
"The youngest?"
Kathani sighed.
"What?  I can't keep track of all your sisters, there are too many."
"Says the man with seven brothers and sisters.  And none of you born from eggs-- I don't know why human women go through it.  It sounds terrible."
"I should never have told you about that."
She stuck her tongue out.
"Very mature, Kathani.  You undoubtedly serve as an excellent role model for Ariel."
"She's reckless, Anthony.  She's been seen too many times by shore-people-- not just sailors.  And she goes around collecting human things from shipwrecks."
"Any gold?"
"Be serious."
"You've been meeting me at the surface for nearly twenty years, why is it a problem when your younger sister does it?"
"It's different, Anthony.  She's friends with a seagull."
"Ah."
"You know what I think of seagulls."
"Scheming opportunists leading impressionable young mermaids astray?"
"Do you know what their names are?"
"There's two of them?  I thought there was only the one."
"Another has joined them!  Soon it will be an entire flock!"
"Dire circumstances indeed."
"Nothing good can come from seagulls.  Especially ones named Scuttle and Squakerdown."
"Does this mean you won't be able to come with me?"
"Don't be stupid, of course I'll be there.  As often as I can."
"You have to take care of your strange human boy who can't breathe underwater."
"I do," she said primly.  "So try not to fall overboard and drown this time."
"No promises," he grinned.  "I almost forgot," he pulled out a packed wrapped in old newspaper.  "For Newton."
The dogfish popped to the surface for a moment upon hearing its name and swam in excited circles to sniff its favorite surface treats.  Kathani, having sampled the hard-tack long ago, shared Anthony's opinion of the stuff: she didn't see the appeal.  But Newton never tired of them, especially if Anthony threw them a distance for Newton to catch.
They spent the rest of the afternoon that way, Kathani and Anthony taking turns to throw hard-tack for Newton.
If there happened to be gaps in conversation where they simply stared at each other, there was no one but an easily bribable dogfish to witness it.
--
"Anthony, what are you doing?  I told you there was going to be a storm!"
"His Majesty Prince Eric insisted on taking this intrepid voyage out to sea for his birthday."
"You can't be on the water-- the storm is moving too quickly.  You need to get back to shore."
"Prince 'I-outrank-you-as-Rear-Admiral' Eric seems to disagree."
"Humans!"
"None of us are here voluntarily," he said sharply.  "We're better sailors than that."
Kathani made a sound of frustration.
"This storm is getting bigger-- it will be a tropical storm, if not a hurricane, when it makes landfall tonight."
"I'll do what I can, but his Majesty is of the impression he is an expert sailor with a gift for forecasting the weather."
"Be careful!"
"Aren't I always?"
"No.  Anthony-- I can't promise I'll be here, there's a celebration today at the palace."
"Ariel's birthday, I know."
"Not her birthday, her debut."
"I wish I could be there to see it," he smiled crookedly.  "And this crab-composer you've been complaining of for months."
Her expression softened.
"I wish you could be there also."
He leaned down and kissed her-- her lips were salty but her mouth was sweet.  It was new and a long time coming, this thing between them.
"I have to go back on board."
"Don't drown," she whispered.
If he could have clubbed His Royal Highness Rear Admiral Prince Eric on the head to sail back to shore without being arrested by Grimsby for treason, he would have.  As it was, he was readying a rowboat as best he could to survive a goddamn hurricane.
--
He drowned.
Even a sailor as experienced as Anthony was no match for a hurricane.  Of the many sailors who went out that fateful day for Prince Eric's self-indulgent birthday celebration, only seven survived.
The rest were post-humously promoted and awarded medals of honor for their valiant service to King and Country.
Most of the bodies of the sailors washed to shore, which was surprising as the beach on which they were found was nowhere near the shipwreck.  Kathani and Newton had dragged them to the surface out of deference to Anthony, who'd told her it was a luxury for a sailor to be buried.
Anthony, however, she kept for herself.  Her strange human boy who couldn't breathe underwater.
The End.

Kanthony Fic: potential, probable, impossible
Summary:
"Are you ever this straightforward with all the men you're going to blind dates with?" Anthony asks her.
"All the men?" Kate repeats, incredulous. "You're implying that I'm easy, then?"
"Oh no, not at all!" he replies. "But I don't think I'm wrong in thinking this isn't your first time, is it? Considering who your grandparents are."
...Fuck. Kate reminds herself that she's supposed to embody Edwina Sheffield, heiress extraordinaire of the Sheffield Oil Company - and not Kathani Sharma, regular paralegal. Edwina would have an extensive experience with blind dates, which she goes to just to let her dates down gently each and every time - considering she's romantic enough to want and look for love the usual, normal, non-rich way.
Why she didn't do that to this one, Kate has no idea.
or
Edwina sends Kate to a blind date with Anthony Bridgerton, with the sole purpose of turning the man off the idea of marrying her. Things, of course, do not go as planned.
or
mashup of Bridgerton and Business Proposal that no one wants but here we are I guess

Next up on Bella Talks Writing is Tangled Webs. This one has two summaries because the first one I wrote was too long for AO3, LOL.
Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve — Sir Walter Scott
When Anthony Bridgerton's latest affair turns out to be a LITERAL affair with a married woman, Daphne's Political career is threatened before it even begins.
When Edwina Sharma gets a job at a PR firm in another country, her over-protective big sister Kate decides to go with her to look after her.
When Agatha Danbury's most problematic client and her newest intern have problems that just might be each others' solutions, she jumps at this chance to help both of them.
When Kate Sharma follows her baby sister to England, the last thing she planned on was falling for Edwina's boyfriend.
OR The fake dating AU that nobody asked for
OR A modern take on the show's plotline
Anthony Bridgerton has been at the center of scandal before. It’s never really bothered him. But, this time, it’s not just about him. When his latest bed partner turns out to not only be married, but to be married to Daphne’s political rival, he could end up taking her down with him. The only way to fix it now, is the one thing he absolutely does not want: a perfectly respectable relationship with a perfectly respectable woman. If it was just about him, he would tell both his publicist and his mother to shove it. But, this time, his hedonistic ways could end up ruining Daphne, too. He’s spent nearly half his life sacrificing himself for his siblings. He’s not about to stop now. Like it or not, it’s time to grow up - or at least pretend to.
Eight years ago, Kathani Sharma sacrificed everything for her family. Turning down both an acceptance to Oxford and a marriage proposal from the English exchange student she had been dating in high school, she used what was supposed to be her college tuition money to help keep her family afloat. Now a successful romance novelist writing under the name Katharine Sheffield, there is one major advantage to the career path she never would have chosen back when she still had choices — she can write from anywhere. So, when Edwina moves to England, Kate decides she’s going with, whether her little sister wants her to, or not.
Edwina Sharma has spent her entire life doing whatever her older sister Kate told her to do. And watching as Kate retreated further and further behind the mask that she had worn for so long that even she had come to believe it. When her mother’s best friend offers her an internship at her PR company, Edwina jumps at it, thinking that a move to England could be just what she needs to get out from under Kate’s thumb — and to force Kate out of her shell.
Agatha Danbury has always had her hands full as the Bridgertons’ publicist. But this time Anthony has really outdone himself. When he comes to her begging for a way to save Daphne from his latest screw-up, she comes up with a plan. Show the world that he has changed by inventing a perfect girlfriend that he’s head over heels in love with. Make it so that even if the journalists blackmailing him were to go forward with the story of him and Siena Rosso, nobody would believe it. When Edwina lashes out about Kate’s overprotectiveness, Agatha realizes that her new intern and her most problematic client could be the solutions to each others’ problems.
A fake relationship. Pretend to be madly in love long enough for Daphne to no longer be in the line of fire. And with Edwina seemingly taken care of, maybe Kate will finally let her walls down and start living her own life. Especially since being in London means reuniting with the man she once thought she would marry, someday.
There’s just one problem: It’s Kate that Anthony dreams about at night. And falling in love is definitely not on his to-do list.
This is obviously a modern AU, and will mostly follow the show's plotline. With a few differences. Edwina feels absolutely nothing beyond friendship for Anthony. In fact, he is... very much not her type, actually. But, he is one of VERY few people who know that - and big sister Kate is not one of the others. She is also a much better sister to Kate than she was in the show - despite her keeping one Hell of a secret for like half her life. I have a fairly good idea where I'm going with this, with whole scenes already planned out. I think it's going to be quite interesting once I get it really going. (I just hope that readers agree, LOL.)
Anyway, the plan once I finish Let's Run Away Together is to alternate between this, Ruined, What Might Have Been, and The Doctor Who Loved Me. So, I should be updating again, soonish. (It will go faster if LRAT will stop being a goddamn hydra and spawning more chapters...)

Have you ever thought about a Kanthony (and others) re-incarnation au. I'm thinking a Housefull 4 style bridgerton fic starring Kanthony, Benophie and maybe Polin. Housefull 4 is a bollywood comedy gold. Surprisingly it's without any angst that u expect of reincarnation tropes. But maybe we can have some angst if someone decides to make a fic out of it 🤞. Anyway if someone does decide to make one I will recommend watching the movie first or look at the plot on wiki for the main gist of the story. U know I got this idea because of the spider scene (equivalent to the bee sting according to me) in the movie so like we can have Kanthony as Madhu n Bala (eldests), Benophie as Meena n Dharmputra, n Polin as Mala n Bangdu.
Thank you for listening to my mumbling 😊.
i've said it before and I'll say it again: people in Tumblr have good taste. So guys, if you haven't seen Housefull 4. Go watch it, it's an awesome movie and it deserves a shoutout. And the funny thing is that I did see the movie a long time ago. But I thought that it would be a great twist if the girls were the ones having the big problem making the guys remember their past lives. So anon, I know this take on the movie isn't what you asked for but bear with me.
So in 1813 you have Queen Violet ever despairing on marrying off her three rakish sons. And then there's Kate, Sophie and Penelope. Who for one reason or another love these three idiots. first there is Kate, Minor indian royalty, princess Kate was vanished from her father's court because of a tiny disobedience (staging a coup to put Edwina on the throne is not a tiny disobedience Kathani Sharma) so she is kind of scheming to marry Anthony and become the future Queen. So she can return home with something to show for it.
Anthony's second brother, Benedict, is desperately inlove with his sister's ladies maid/bodyguard, Sophie. Who has saved his life more times than he can count. And finally, Colin, ever the young prankster. Is inlove with the court lead gossip maker. Miss Penelope aka notorious scandal mongrel Lady Whistledown.
Kate and Anthony fell inlove, and together they also worked very hard to unite Benedict and Sophie against those who opposed their class difference, and defended Colin and Penelope's choice to be together despite Lady Whistledown's reputation. BUT on the day the three of them were going to get married. Someone bombed the cathedral. And the three couples died.
Back in the present Kate Sharma is a down on her luck photographer working too many jobs who accidentally gets in trouble with the Indian Mob and has to pay back a sum that seems astronomical, or work for the mob for life. Well, never let it be said that Kate doesn't know how to scheme her way into the lives of the rich and famous. Her boss Lady Danbury sets her and her two best friends up with the sons of a super rich business' woman, who need convenient wives that don't mess on their style ( in exchange for a few favors after the girls are officially Bridgertons. ) Penelope and Sophie have agreed to help Kate pay back the money to the mob and well, at least the guys are handsome.
Everything is going swimmingly, the three couples are getting along well, at least until Kate visits the Bridgerton family cemetery with her new fiancée and starts getting flashbacks of her past life...
Here's the thing... In this life, she is sort of going to marry the wrong brother!! oh no, Kate needs to help her friends remember their past lives too. She doesn't want to get married to Colin, or let Sophie marry Anthony, also she's pretty sure that if Penelope knew she's getting hitched to the same Benedict who was head over heels for Sophie in their past life, she would die of embarrassment.
Now all Kate has to do is help her friends and their husbands remember their past life. Reconnect with her husband who doesn't know she's his wife because he thinks she's the gold digger who is putting the moves on Colin. Somehow figure out why they all reincarnated AND find out who bombed the cathedral in 1813.
Easy peasy right?

Title: Random Vampire AU Author: 55anon Fandom: Bridgerton Pairing: Anthony Bridgerton/Kathani Sharma Summary: Victory Lap & Conservatory Ball
-2-
When he caught up to her, he immediately grabbed her horse's reins and dismounted his. She was so shocked when he pulled her down and gathered her in his arms, burying his face in the crook of her neck.
"Kathani," he breathed.
She inhaled sharply, pulse quickening with confusion and the beginnings of fear.
"How do you know my name?"
He pulled back and took her chin in his hand, searching for something in her eyes. She moved her head to free herself, but he only put his palm to her cheek and looked straight in her eyes again.
"You don't remember?"
"We have never met."
They had never met, she was certain. However, there was an undeniable pull, as though a cord had formed between them the moment he said her name.
"But we-- the Prometheus Fire."
"Prometheus Fire?"
"We were married, four hundred years ago."
"I beg your pardon?"
Clearly, this handsome man was mentally disturbed. Kathani tried to extricate herself from his grasp but his strength was almost superhuman.
"We were married, then Camilla sent Berbrooke to hunt us down. They--" he still couldn't speak of it, not directly. "They used Prometheus Fire-- it should have extinguished your soul, my darling."
"Sir, I assure you we have never met. If you would be so good as release me, I must return to Mayfair."
"It must have burned through your memories," he murmured, brushing his thumb against her cheekbone.
"Sir, I insist you unhand me."
"Anthony. My name is Anthony."
"I don't care if your name is Anthony or Cleopatra, let go of me."
"You're the same," he marveled. "You're just the same."
"Let go."
He let go, but grabbed the reins to both their horses, distantly aware of the fact he was acting like a madman.
"Where in Mayfair are you staying?"
"That is none of your business," she snapped. "Give me my horse."
"You have no chaperone-- are you married?"
"And if I am?"
He grabbed her wrist again, face transformed into something monstrous.
"Are. You. Married."
"If I tell you, will you let me go? I'm going to be late."
"If you didn't remember me, you would be screaming with terror."
"Perhaps I should."
"Tell me?"
"Scream."
Anthony let go of the horses' reins in favor of crushing her back into his body, inhaling deeply.
"What are you doing?!"
"You're not married," he took more deep breaths of her scent, "though you've lain with other men."
"How can you--?"
"And women."
"I do not have to explain myself to you-- you're a stranger--"
"No, we're not strangers, Kathani," he forced her to look directly at him. "You can't deny you feel this between us."
"I feel nothing."
"You have the strength and skill to escape my hold and yet you haven't."
"A lady should not have to use force," she executed a quick sequence of hits and twists, "to extricate herself from a situation."
Kathani ran to her horse and pulled herself up to mount quickly. Anthony, as a member of the undead, moved with inhuman speed and caught her horse's reins again before she could urge it forward.
"Anthony!" she said in frustration.
In the back of her mind, there was a voice saying this interaction was too familiar; they were too comfortable and too familiar with each other; perhaps she was going mad.
"I love you."
"You're insane."
"I didn't dare hope, but you found a way back to me."
"I am not here to entertain the delusions of Englishmen, and I'm going to be late."
"Let me call on you."
"No," she jerked the reins, to no avail.
"Kathani, let me call on you. Where are you staying."
"If you know me so well, you shouldn't have a problem discovering it on your own."
"I would prefer if you told me."
"For the last time, no. Anthony, someone is going to see me!"
He heard before he saw the horses on the main path; Anthony did not want her reputation to come to any sort of harm so he finally let go. She immediately accelerated from a trot to a gallop.
"Mayfair is the other way, darling," he called.
Kathani growled as she executed a tight, beautiful turn, speeding past him.
"Do not call me that!"
Anthony laughed.
It did not matter that she didn't remember; in fact, it might be better that way. He didn't even want to think about the agony she must have gone through, burned alive in that sick, green fire.
Part of him wanted to rush through courtship, blackmail the archbishop to obtain a special license, and marry her as soon as possible. Another part of him imagined a long, beautiful courtship-- fall in love with her again through flowers and dances and promenades.
He would call on her after tonight's Conservatory Ball. She was certain to be there. The scents that lingered on her were that of a dog, two older women (one of whom smelled familiar) and a younger lady, practically still a girl.
Her base scent was the same. His last memory of her had been the overwhelming stench of her burning body, but now that he had held her in his arms again, it was just the same.
The last time he'd courted her, it had been a swift and easy journey for them both to fall in love.
This time, thanks to his unfortunate behavior during their first meeting (though he did not regret any of it), he had a feeling she was going to make him work for it.
There was nothing he loved so much as a challenge.
--
"Didi?"
"Yes, Bon?"
"Who is that man staring at you?"
Kathani frowned and looked in the direction Edwina discreetly pointed.
She was not surprised it was him.
"I-- I don't know."
"That, is Viscount Bridgerton," Lady Danbury said with relish. "He usually attends to maintain appearances and keep good standing among the ton, but it seems you've caught his eye, Miss Sharma."
"I am not here looking for a match of my own, as I've said Lady Danbury. Do you think he would be a good match for Edwina?"
"Didi, I don't think he's interested in me at all," her sister giggled. "He's coming towards us now."
"Lord Bridgerton, how good of you to show your face tonight," Lady Danbury said with raised eyebrow and a smirk.
"I would not think to miss the first ball of the season, Lady Danbury."
He was really much too charming for his own good.
"I see my nephew isn't in attendance."
"Hastings asked I send relay his apologies. Augie has not been feeling well, of late."
"Hmm, I'm sure," she replied, clearly not buying what Simon was selling.
"Lady Danbury, might I ask for an introduction?"
"I would be delighted. Allow me to introduce to you Lady Mary Sharma and her two daughters: Miss Sharma, and Miss Edwina Sharma. They are my special guests for this season."
"Lady Mary, Miss Sharma, Miss Edwina," he bowed. "Miss Sharma, might I claim your next dance?"
"My Lord, I am--"
Lady Danbury tapped her cane against Kathani's ankle ominously.
"You may, my Lord."
He was far too pleased as he led her to the dance floor.
"I would like you to know, I am only dancing with you out of duress."
"So long as you are dancing with me, I don't mind the circumstances."
"You seem surprised."
"You used to be a terrible dancer-- stepped on my toes all the time."
"Used to be?"
"Four hundred years ago. It made for a most trying courtship."
"Is that what you're doing now? Courting me?"
"There's nothing else I'd rather be doing at this very moment."
"Your delusions make it difficult to take you seriously."
"I am confident I shall exceed the amount of proof required to convince you of my claims."
"Then why not provide that proof now?"
"There are certain precautions which must be taken. Though I'm relieved Lady Danbury is your sponsor-- it will make everything easier."
"What do you mean?"
"That is for me to keep secret and you to discover. You shall have to ask her directly."
"Ah, I see."
"You see?"
"I have already discerned your secret: Lady Danbury is a dragon disguised as a human."
He laughed-- she grudgingly conceded it was a pleasant sound.
"If that is what you think."
"You are the one who claims we were married four hundred years ago."
"It is not a claim, it is a fact. As for Lady Danbury, I only ask you inform her of your discovery whilst I am present."
"You would be quite handsome if you weren't so clearly delusional."
"I learned my lesson from our first courtship-- it's best to be honest from the beginning, even if you don't believe me."
"To be fair, you were covered in blood."
"What?" he stared at her, shocked.
"What?"
"Say it again."
"Say what again?"
"What you just said."
"I said you would be handsome if you weren't delusional."
"No, what you said after that."
"I didn't say anything after that."
"You-- you said," he frowned, scrutinizing her carefully.
She was not feigning her lapse in memory; she genuinely did not know what he was referring to.
He knew what he'd heard. His heart soared, once again, at the possibility.
"My Lord?"
"Yes?"
"Are you well?"
"Perfectly," he smiled, pulling her close.
She did not protest; in fact, she seemed to relax into his hold.
"I am perfectly well, my love."
That she did not protest his use of the endearment only encouraged him further.
This would be a thrilling courtship indeed.
--
"Anthony, what a surprise. I thought you were to breakfast at Bridgerton House," Daphne said, a copy of Whistledown displayed prominently on the table.
"She remembers."
"Kathani remembers? You told us yesterday she didn't recall your past at all."
"It's buried deep."
"How do you know?"
"She told me of a memory, then forgot she'd told me. Have you heard of anything like it?"
"No, nothing at all. Are you certain it's not coincidence?"
"No, it was specific. She remembered how she discovered I was a vampire," Anthony said, over the moon.
Daphne, on the other hand, winced. What followed that discovery was one of the worst displays of Anthony's infamously terrible communication skills. She and Simon had really thought Siena taught Anthony a lesson regarding the importance of honesty in a relationship, only for Anthony to take away the exact opposite lesson and almost lose his twin flame right before he'd planned to propose.
He'd gotten better, though it took centuries. It was only after he became Head of Coven that he took the lessons to heart.
Granted, he was never honest or communicative with Violet, but they simply didn't get along; the difference in age and culture was too great. Even Daphne had trouble with the Englishwoman. Her insistence on a Certain Way of Doing Things was extremely tiresome.
Covens did not survive by clinging to outdated traditions-- they survived by adapting to their surroundings.
Speaking of adapting to surroundings:
"Anthony, you must be a bit more discreet."
"Whatever for?"
Daphne looked pointedly at Whistledown.
"The scribbler has always written about me, there's no difference here."
"Anthony, Maria has written to me to warn me that she has seen old copies of the scandal sheet on the Continent."
He froze.
"How old?"
"An incomplete set of last season. But you must be careful, especially since you kept the name Bridgerton, and Kathani has the same name."
"Camilla can't possibly think--"
"She has been obsessed with you since you and Simon joined her coven."
"Simon and I never joined, we never took the oaths--"
"Don't be obtuse. You know the oaths stopped mattering when Simon married me. The two of you are sire-blood brothers."
"That's not how it works," he began pacing, agitated.
"She doesn't care how it works. Anthony, you need to be careful."
"You're right," he said, jaw set in determination. "Or perhaps I should just find this Whistledown and--"
"No, it's not worth the risk and you know it."
"Where is Simon?"
"Calling on Lady Danbury."
"I should join him, then."
"Anthony, wait. There's one more thing you need to consider."
"I will be careful. I won't let our coven or Kathani come to harm, I promise you."
"I believe you. But," she bit her lip. "You need to think about the possibility of turning her."
"No."
"Anthony--"
"She wants children Daph. We discussed it for months."
"We don't know if Camilla has more Prometheus Fire, Anthony. If she uses it twice-- there are no stories of souls coming back from suffering that agony a second time."
Dread filled Anthony's soulless soul.
"The flame and branch are extinguished once it's used."
"Would you really put it past her to find another branch?"
"You mean to say she knows where the tree is?"
"I don't know, but it's something you must consider."
"Why has Hastings gone to visit Danbury? It's nine o'clock in the morning."
"To devise a plan to mitigate this gossip sheet. I've already bought as many copies as possible, but at least one will make it to the Continent-- hopefully Camilla won't see it."
"Thank you."
Daphne took his hand.
"You would do-- you have done-- the same for us. We look out for each other."
"And Danbury?"
"To draw attention away from Kathani. Danbury is quite adept at creating gossip."
"I'm well aware. What kind of scheme did you have in mind?"
"There's always plenty of gossip once the Queen names her Diamond."
"It would be a great boon for Miss Edwina to be named the Diamond."
"And expose Kathani to all the eligible bachelors in London?"
"You're right, completely unsuitable."
"Simon and I may attend some balls to demonstrate our favor for Miss Edwina. It will hopefully also obscure your courtship, since Simon was wise and did not keep Hadrian. Why on earth did you keep Bridgerton?"
"I became used to it," Anthony lied.
They both knew the truth: it was because Bridgerton was the only thing he had left of Kathani. Berbrooke had burned down the house and everything in it-- there was nothing left of her for Anthony to remember her by. Anthony couldn't bear to part with the name.
"Are you going to call on her today?"
"Yes. I am sensible of the dangers, but you know I need to show her my interest is sincere. That means calling on her the night after the ball."
"She hasn't changed, has she."
"She's the same Daph. She's exactly the same," he said with awe.
"I'm happy for you, Anthony."
"Daphne?" Simon asked from the hallway.
"In here."
"Ah, Anthony. Just the man I was looking for."
"Visit went well?"
"Very."
"Anything important I should know?"
"You certainly made an impression."
"Excellent."
Simon shook his head and grinned. It had been very long since he last saw this side of Anthony.
"Where are you going?"
"I need to send flowers if I'm going to call on her."
"Tulips," Simon told him loudly.
"Tulips?"
"Tulips."
"Tulips it is, then."
"What color are you getting?" Daphne asked, her hand slipping into her husband's.
"Orange, of course. That's her favorite."

Anthony Bridgerton had sex with countless women in his life but only Kate Sharma has managed to fuck his brains out into a blissful oblivion like no one else ever before and made him complete. Gone is the jaded, restless man who left behind scores of women without so much as a second glance. He’s spent the whole night sleeping with his head turned to her and his left arm stretched out under Kate’s head, serving as her pillow! Knowing Anthony (by his own admission), he was most likely dreaming about her the whole time, too! She’s just given him the best night of his life and left him wanting for more, a lifetime of more.

He wants to cuddle with her, bask in the afterglow and enjoy the aftercare, kiss her and maybe even ask for another round of lovemaking. Anthony is literally glowing because Kate’s made him smile again. He might have been lovestruck by her for a long time but now he becomes fuckstruck as well. He expects, no, needs Kate to be there, lying by his side in his arms, because for the first time in his life he has expectations and hopes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Instead, when he opens his eyes and leans toward Kate, he only finds an empty place. Perplexed, Anthony immediately looks around searching for her, hoping to catch a glimpse of her running around a corner. In a stark contrast to the first episode, now, it’s him who is left alone in the morning by the only woman he never wanted to leave (his transformation apparent), just when he doesn’t want to be alone nor run away from love anymore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What can a man do when the love of his life runs away from him? He chases after her like he has always done, especially as he’s had ample practice. In that aspect, there is no man in the world more qualified for the task of finding and hunting down Miss Kathani Sharma than Viscount Bridgerton, he is a bit of an expert in having the Kate Sharma touch (and nose!) to be sure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we meet him at the beginning of the season 2, his duties have been taking a toll on Anthony’s life – he is exhausted and overworked. The only time he seeks respite is in the arms of prostitutes, each time with a different one, and while he finds physical release he never seems to find satisfaction or fulfillment. He never spends the night with them and each time he leaves with a deeply haunted, frustrated look without a second glance, wanting to get out as fast as possible. As if even sex has become a pesky business he does out of habit rather than being something to be enjoyed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The whole time he’s been going through the motion, existing but not truly living – his responsibilities stifling him, his wife hunt unsuccessful, his sex life disappointing. He can’t find solace and comfort no matter how hard he tries and becomes restless, weary, jaded, numb and hollow inside. Deep down, he’s been seeking something elusive (just like his search for a bride) and out of reach.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s only fitting and poignant that right after another of many such exhausting days and sexual encounters he meets Kate and the moment he sees her, racing across the woods so unrestrained, vibrant and full of life and joy, he suddenly becomes alive as well because she makes him feel alive. With her, everything becomes more tangible and real.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With all the other women, sex is a business transaction without any emotional connection, no need for anything more, but with Kate, everything changes, everything is different as Anthony finally finds what he’s been searching for the whole time. And it’s only apt that one of the final moments of their story this season is another morning after scene showing Kate and Anthony enjoy the life and happiness they deserve and earned, with Kate in Anthony’s arms and him blissfully happy.
