haechan and i lived in an apartment together, both of us drowning in our work at the dining table fighting deadlines to submit the work in time and finally get a brake. After hours of silence, only the occasional acts of service making each other coffee or getting a snack for one another, we finally finished what we were working on, relieved. I closed my laptop, closing my eyes as I leaned back in my chair, head trown back, my eyes tired. I heard him stand up the chair scraping against the floor. I opened one eye looking at him as he stretched, making his way over to me, draping his arms over my shoulders as my head touched his stomach. he looked down at me as I stared up at him. "You look like shit" he whispered, making me laugh. I was well awear I did not look the best. my hair was a mess, and my eyes tired. "Okay, mister perfect" I said, sarcastically bringing a hand up to pull him down for a quick kiss before standing up and stretching, my back cracking. "You know it" he said, doing a sassy hair flip as if he'd have the hair for that. I shook my head an amused smile on my face.

me and him were complete opposites in many ways. personality wise especially but we made it work every time. "You know, for someone who's supposed to be 'mister perfect' you sure are very cocky" I said, placing my arms over his shoulders a playful smirk on my face, one hand playing with the back of his hair. he returned the smirk, his hands making their way to my waist going under my shirt slightly, his fingers drawing patterns on my skin, pulling me closer. "You don't seem to mind y/n" I hummed, pretending to think, "Who knows, maybe I do we'll never know will we?" he scoffed, playing hurt "okay damn what a boyfriend I have he dosent even love me" I pulled away muttering "drama queen" under my breath as I turned back to the table to dig trough my bag to find my pack of cigarettes and a lighter or even his pack as he tends to leave his in my bag. I felt him press up against my back, his head on my shoulder, looking at what I was doing. he pointed to a pocket, already knowing what I was looking for. "Everything should be there." I checked the pocket, and just like he said, everything was there. I took the pack and one of the lighters walking into the living room, opening the door to our balcony, taking a cushion from one of the chairs we had outside and sitting down on the ground. he followed shortly after me taking a cushion and an ashtray from the table and sat down next to me with a sigh.

the night was relatively cold but pleasant, so there were no complaints on my end. I opened the beat-up pack and took out two cigarettes, putting one between my lips and handing him the other one, him doing the same. I light mine first, the bitter taste filling my mouth as I inhale the smoke, handing him the lighter. I watched him as he lit the cigarette, the flame giving some light to his features in the dark night. he was always beautiful, but with a cigarette between his lips, he was breathtaking. I could never keep my eyes off him when we smoked together, as how could you not stare? the smoke surrounded us as he talked about his day at work and how much he hated his boss, but even my best attempt at listening failed my eyes too busy admiring him. he caught on after a while once he noticed my eyes constantly going between his eyes and lips. "You're not listening, are you?" he asked, a laugh escaping as he took a drag. I didn't respond. I just leaned in and kissed him the smoke mixing between us. he tasted exactly like coffee and cigarettes vanilla from the creamer we used. I put out my cigarette, taking his and putting it out as well, not breaking the kiss as it slowly got more heated.

our balcony had plenty of protection to it so we didn't have to worry about our neighbours seeing or us falling off or something. we moved around a bit, my back pressed against one of the walls as he sat comfortably on my lap. one of his hands on my cheek the other behind my head playing with my hair tugging on in occasionally while my hands rested on his hips from time to time moving down to his thighs giving them a gentle squeeze. the makeout didn't go further than that as neither of us was really in the mood for sex so after a bit, we went back inside his neck having a few marks now and put the ashtray away, clean up the dining room table putting out things away and haechan chose to take a shower before we get our tired asses to bed. cuddling for the rest of the night surrounded by blankets and pillows wrapped in each others arms.

TEN---srsly I am not his fan...but he is a good performer..I really liked his verse on baggy jeans nd he is good at dancing too..we need someone to catch up with ty at center..nd he could be a lead vocal too..(plus I am giving a chance to doten to make up with eo😌..if they r In a same team dy cant run awys for long time)..

Kun--- I just love this man....(I knw I included so many vocals but bear with me..for the sake of ballad I could train ty nd ten to sing taeil's highnotes)... u knw this kun is an amazing human being..if u have him it is like yaa...we could move on from whatever the situation is...u think he cant dance but he dances well, can he sing ofcrs he is a good singer, can compose nd produce ? Yes ofcrs..he can do everything nd he is frnd with ten nd dy..so give him a pass..

JAEMIN--- I dont knw..he is weird...he is an eye catchy...his visual could make it..I dont knw abt his vocal but he is for visual nd a dreamy member nd for dy to baby sit..

CONCLUSION :

i think the reason why this goes around the way it does is because the 'thought process' of biases and bias wreckers are kind of different?

with biases, it's only natural to find similarities or something to relate to in another person and a para-social relationship isn't any different. and when you start you just never really stop. i also find that the bias is typically the person (or people) you're investing more time in, thinking about them, getting to know them through the screen...

whereas with biaswreckers, they're like photo bombs. they're a break from all of that. they're the ones you're thinking 'omg they're actually so fucking pretty what the hell' 'omg so fucking hilarious' 'nawww they're actually so gentle/strong etc'. they're a bit of a jump start.

TENNNN. one of the first songs i watched was 'baby don't stop' (started unholy i know) and as somebody who has always loved dancing and danced a lot since childhood, i fell for him. also haechan because of his very very unique voice.

TEN. very much, i love how he's so authentic and passionate about his work. and he's also utterly insane in every way.

i always say taemin is my bias (hes adorable AND funny like... king stop my expectations are too high-) but i think im truly ot5 because all of them are so important to me. they were the first kpop group i ever listened to forever ago (sherlock (clue + note) is a legend and i love her so much), and i think dropping off shortly after getting into them (which would have been around 2015 because it was the time view came out) and then picking them a little over a year ago was genuinely like... something that really helped me out of a shitty place + hurt because i had missed the news about jonghyun entirely. but even then, i think its made me appreciate him and everything he's done so, so much. i won't get sappy but i truly love jonghyun so much and i'm glad he's no longer hurting. it'll always piss me off when people reduce him down to his death and nothing else because he was such a good person.

moving on from that before i get too emotional... i genuinely just love shinee a lot. i watched one of the shinee world concerts (IV i think?) earlier this year and its amazing how talented they were and still are. shinee truly helped pave the way and inspired so many idols and i adore them. its also fun to just watch them interact, tbh. i don't genuinely ship anyone because i find that weird, but minkey as a (platonic) pair are my faves lmao they always bicker like an old married couple but you can tell that they do love each other and are genuinely close friends.

and jinki!!! onew my beloved!!! i love him so much. he has such a warm presence and GOD his vocals... i die every time... coincidentally love phobia just came up on my playlist lmao but still!! highly recommend listening to DICE if u haven't!! the entire album itself is good but the title track is soo good <3 i always feel like i forget he's the leader of shinee because they're all so close-knit, it feels like they're all on completely equal footing even if jinki is the one leading them.

i didnt rly get into my love for taemin but genuinely i adore him. he's so, so talented both vocally and dance-wise, i love to see the difference between his stage persona (typically his solo persona lmao taemin and his slutty slutty music... <3) when he's really just this very sweet catholic man who apparently only really interacts with his group mates and a few others outside of that. he's so funny and i honestly admire every live he did where he spoke english and messed up and accepted his mistakes? like. learning a language is hard enough, especially one as fucking weird as english, but he just seems to eager to try speaking english and accepts his mistakes. i think he definitely has a very good support network both in the people helping him learn english (job-wise) and in having someone like key there to correct him (and maybe rib him a little bit--but it's all out of love). also i still think its really funny he broke into keys place to leave him a birthday cake and then proceeded to steal one of his jackets. stole my heart at the same time smh

n. 1 | Why did you chose your URL?

I kind of combined all the NCT members who got me really involved with NCT in the first place. So namely, the person who peeked my interest in NCT was Taeyong after my friend showed me his solo stuff and black-on-black but my first ultimate bias was Mark and then my friend’s bias (who showed me Taeyong) was Lucas (and he later became one of my major biases) So it was mxr for Mark, ca for Lucas, and yong for Taeyong (so I pronounce it mark-ah-yong) And then I was debating changing it now that I’m basically biased for all 23 members (some to different extents to others but I’m always tied with like 7 people for ultimates) but then it just felt catchy and I didn’t think I could come up with a better name than that that isn’t taken already.

n. 2 | Any side blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them?

Initially no. Technically this is my side blog. I had a private personal blog I used to treat as a journal but then after too long with my focus on NCT and way too many “I am following you, just in a personal blog”, I basically wiped it and turned it into a random blog where I repost content that excites me / stories I like to read / whatever I want thats less personal and depressing as it was before haha… It’s @mxrcayong-main. TBH the main reason was to build better relationships with my mutuals - like they never see if I read their posts or like their stuff because my personal blog was just strange and I didnt want people to really see it.

Honestly…very long. This blog hasn’t been too long though. This started as an NCT blog March 2020, but my first ever post was about Sehun in February 2020 (which was supposed to be a one off post haha). I once had a 5SOS blog, and then a Tom Holland one, and then now this haha. I have deleted the 5SOS one, unable to delete the Tom Holland one bc I lost access to it, and now I am on this :) I low key wanted to regain access to my Tom Holland one because I’m simping again but I lost details to the email I signed it up to.

n. 6 | Why did you choose your icon / pfp?

For the Lucas one; I liked the aesthetic. My favorite kind of aesthetic is this vintage, faded, film kind of look. For me, I think one of the most profound and important things we have as humans are these vivid memories so any photo that kind of mimics this feel is super gorgeous to me. Also Lucas is stunning.

I used to have a Haechan matching aesthetic to the Lucas one, but I recently decided to turn it blue. I chose Mark because I’m the biggest simp for him (alongside with Jeno and Haechan mostly). This is purely because blue is one of my favorite colors; it always calms me down, and I just thought the aesthetic and composition of this photo really pleases me. Like, it also fits my vibe a bit more of the ‘softie’ and my friend even says I fit the ‘blue vibe’ more idk haha. I just come onto Tumblr for escapism and write for escapism, and blue helps calm me down so I wanted this escapism to be calming y’know haha

My post with the most notes….honestly isn’t one im the happiest with but someone requested it so I tried to do it justice but idk I dont like writing fics too far in the future yk?? but the one with the second most notes that I really love is called “Come Home To Me”

I can probably count on one hand haha I want to get to know people, but I’m really scared to. I gotta say tho, I’m so grateful for all the mutuals I have - but especially @pastelsicheng and @kopikokun because they really stuck with me through some bad times I’ve had. also, tons of love for @sunflowersora for being my first supporter on this app and low key motivation to keep staying on the app <3

I really do! Honestly, I have to say I still don’t feel like I belong on the Tumblr community? Like I feel like I’m a newbie still finding their place. Theres a lot of times where I question that if I just leave, no one would be excited to see my posts anyway / no one will notice. I watched with adoration as Jeno blew out his candles while everyone cheered with joy while he threw his signature eye smile at everyone before pulling me into a hug.

“Thank you for the birthday baby it means a lot” he smiled kissing me softly as a gag was heard from Jaemin

I smile before nodding softly as we all began to pass out cake to everyone as they all sat down outside on the porch.

This was mine and Jeno first home and the fact he wa having his birthday there sent happiness rushing through him.

Smiling bright I sat down in the chair swing as Jeno sat next to me keeping his arm around me while we shared a piece of cake hearing Taeil pull strings on the guitar and Doyoung singing one of Jeno’s favorite songs.

The mix of other things somehow blended in with the tune as the sound of YangYang and Chenle ran through the small yard and Renjun arguing with Haechan about how much cake he ate.

Jeno’s soft hand ran up and down my arms as I smiled as my head snuggled into his neck as a light left Johnny lips.

“Your 20 and getting old there Jeno” Johnny jokes ad Jeno and Jaehyun laughed.

I looked up at him with a smile as I looked at him “come on I want to show you something” I smiled as I grabbed his hand leading him into the house.

Taking him into the living room I sat him on the couch before grabbing my gift from the stack of others as he began to open it.

Taking a small box and a card out of the big container he smiled opening the acre as he began to read.

“Jeno your are the best boyfriend I could ever ask for and you’ve brought me so much joy into my life and I couldn’t thank you enough...even though others may say we moved a bit to fat in our relationship I can’t help but think how amazing we actually did...I have a wonderful life with you and I can’t wait to spen many more years with you and I hope 20 treats you well and if it doesn’t I’m there to make sure 21 is the best of all...love you..y/n” he was as I heard a light sniffle from him as he looked at me with watery eyes.

“Oh no baby don’t cry” I giggled as he buried his head in my neck hiding his tears

I felt a kiss on my cheek as Jeno smiled before sitting back up placing the card on one leg as he grabbed the box.

Looking up at me he raised a brow in confusion before he opened it showing a gold band as he gasped lightly.

“I know guys like to propose but...”

“I love it babygirl....” Jeno cut as I looked at him with a bright smile

He turned to me placing a soft kiss on my lips before he placed the ring on his finger “ya know I actually had one for you too” he smiled

Running upstairs I giggled as I tired to hide the blush from no one as I waited for him to come back.

About a minute later he ran back from down the stairs as he sat next to me showing his adorable eye smiles again.

“Open it..” he whispered before I opened the box

A gasp left my lip as I seen the whiney 6 carrot diamond on the shiny band as diamonds scaled onto it also.

“J-Jeno how much was this..?” I ask before he shakes his head

“Don’t worry about it...your the person I want in my life and the one drug I could never get away from and I want it to stay that way” Jeno smile as I watched his slide the ring onto my finger

I smile as I wipe my tears before wiping the left over ones on his face as well before I hear a shriek coming from the walkway as I see all 20 of the members.

“My baby is so grown up!” Doyoung cries as Johnny pats his back

A smile leaves Jeno lips befor I see Jisung and Jaemin walk through with her making us both smile.

There she was...someone that me and Jeno could never stop caring for...our life and joy all wrapped in her personalized Cheeing Gum themed shirt with her white leggings and cute pink little Nike’s.

“Look Melanie who’s that?” Jisung asks pointing at us

A giggle leaves her lips as she shows the eye smiles she was blessed with making me fall head over heels for her.

I snapped out of it as I watched our two year old run to Jeno as he picked her up. Everyone smiled as a loud scream was heard from Lucas “CONGRATULATIONS!”

And with that everyone cheered as I smiled looking at Jeno and Melanie to see them smile just as wide.

I knew I couldn’t ask for anything better than this...
