Tsuchigomori doesn't get enough attention and I am very glad I found your account! What are your favorite things about him? Honestly, I just want to hear another person that likes Tsuchigomori ramble about him:3

AAAA IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED!! Sorry for responding late ^^…. Let me ramble 😈

i absolutely love his character!!!! He is so funny with how he jokes with kou and nene or when he argues with yako , i love how different he acts when hes in is supernatural form vs his human form. Like he literally says in the manga he changes just cause he feels like it, if thats not silly idk what is… He has weird humor that makes everyone stare and look at him weird but he says it anyway and laughs at his own jokes and that is SO CUTE!!!! Or if we’re gonna get more serious, i adore his father-like relationship with hanako it warms my heart. Back when he was still alive he cared for him whenever he showed up to schools covered in cuts and bruises, always firm with him but we all know how much he cares for him.

Even when he killed tsukasa , Tsuchigomori said “Even if no one else would ever forgive it, even if there’s no reason that would justify it, I forgive it.” I already started to love his character but that panel truly sold it for me. And how his yorishiro is the space rock hanako gave him? It literally is so cute, showing how hanako is important to him.. Literally he’s his dad idc… I love how he cares about the kids even if he pretends not to show it, gives them advice whenever he can. I really, REALLY wish we had more to him and knew MORE about him, i want to know everything about him!!! He is so incredibly interesting and a great character, he is so underrated and i’m happy i can ramble on and on why I like him.

Onto something less serious.. i have small reasons too, his fear of loud noises and cars!! Makes me laugh every time, he’s a GROWN man shaking in fear while cars pass 😭 i fucking love that, thats just so fun and i like his small traits. Also how he dislikes cold weather and is weak to the cold, even more adorable!!! Have you seen that official art with Tsuchigomori in his winter clothes? Its absolutely adorable… i love his expression he just looks so over it while everyone else is having fun..

As serious the story goes on in the later chapters I enjoy having Tsuchigomori there to ground everything out, how his latest concern is living his double life as a supernatural then a human is so ??? I can’t explain it. Also it would be foolish of me not to mention his looks cause.. come on, look at him!!! His little glasses chain, his two toned hair.. everything about him is so dreamy i LOVEEE him. His slippers are just so cute too idk, he’s dressed all professionally the he has slippers on… AND MY MIND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE MID RAMBLE.. his relationship with KOU!! I live for it, Tsuchigomori is kou’s homeroom teacher and they just go at each other all the time, i live for those moments. When kou tried to bribe Tsuchigomori with bugs?? Calling him spider face?? I LIVEEE FOR IT!!!

I could continue but i think its gotten long enough… i love Tsuchigomori if you couldn’t tell. I love everything about him… tsuchigomori ryujirou i am your number one fan I LOVE YOU!!!

thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ i'm so happy to hear you liked the ex-idol toge and baseball player yuta au hehe that was so much fun to do. now that you mention college aus (which i also LIVEEE for), would it not be cute if they used to crush on each other when they were college students!! music major toge was part of the dance club and spent a lot of time on campus for practice, same for yuta who had been a prodigy baseball player his whole life. from his club's practice spot, toge had a convenient view of watching yuta practice (as did many other students haha, man always had an audience). from observation and also through word of mouth, he knew that yuta was a very sweet person, friend and teammate. he took care of his team well and everyone looked up to him. toge was inspired by his drive and it motivated him to try his best too.

for yuta it was a much more private experience. while toge would sometimes just join the crowd watching yuta or sit somewhere alone on a day with less people, yuta was intensely shy. he came across his school's dance club profile on social media one fine day and that's when he first saw toge. 30 minutes of doom scrolling later on their page and it was over for him...let's just say toge was a really good dancer with lots of charm and personality in his style (and also has a little fanclub of his own!).

despite them mutually pining for one another from afar, they unfortunately only ever interacted once. they happened to both be on their way out of school, and it was the day before yuta and his team went off to the all japan university baseball championship. toge's got a good luck charm for him but is way too nervous to actually approach him. luckily for toge, yuta accidentally drops his student ID. and the little opportunist within toge comes alive and dives to grab it before yuta can even do it himself (he still cringes about this moment years later). yuta's brain is also doing an internal system crash but somehow doesn't combust when toge very calmly hands him his ID back with the charm underneath. he then walks off in what seems to be the fastest speed yuta has ever witnessed. after the moment is over, yuta uncovers the good luck charm tucked under his ID and then, he combusts.

it doesn't get better yet, they don't meet again for a long time. yuta and his team go on to win the championship, but when he returns to campus with all the glory and confidence in the world (to finally speak to toge), he can't find him anywhere. tldr: toge got scouted by a really good music label and got whisked away to trainee life at 19 in the period of time yuta was away for championships; it all happened very quickly bc toge was quite naive and dropped out of school for a shot at his dream career) (why do i feel like im writing a such a cliche romance plot !! haha)

we'll get to the bad parts immediately. toge knew trainee life would be hard, but he was willing to give it his all to debut. except things didn't really improve after debut. before he could even notice all the red flags, it all came crashing down at 23 when toge had been overworked to the point of damaging his vocal cords. he left the group shortly after, and eventually left the label all together. as for yuta, he was scouted to play for a foreign team and left japan. his career was a success overseas and he'd attained the status as japan's pride. all the things he'd dreamt of as a kid playing baseball with his dad had come true. but in true yuta nature, he was like, yknow what, i think i've done it all and i really miss my friends and family. so i'm gonna move my life back to japan! bye bye! (not gonna give him the successful athlete sustains career damaging injury plot no yuta closed the curtains with his own hands simply bc he missed his friends) i think at this point (age 25) he's only thought of toge from time to time as this sweet boy from his college days that was out of his league, he hasn't heard or seen him in forever either. that is until he returns to japan, gets like a million brand deals, collaboration offers and of course, invites to events and parties for the elites and celebs of japan.

a few weeks after he returned to tokyo, he's invited to a private party to celebrate team japan's success at the winter olympics, with his best friend rika as his plus one. he meets a lot of big name athletes there and quickly becomes friends with maki zenin, one of japan's best speed skaters, and yuji itadori, one of players of the national ice hockey team. (geez i wonder who maki's plus one is)

when he feels himself go past tipsy and approaching drunk, he excuses himself to the balcony for a breather. he's known to be extremely talkative after too much alcohol and he doesn't really feel like pissing off his new friends. when he steps out, he sees a single person smoking by themselves outside and cringes internally (he hates the smell!). but he finds that he won't be stepping back inside so soon, because somehow, he's met with the very beautiful face of inumaki toge.

So I finished the new season and I have to rant with someone on this one.

I actually LOVE IT they gave us everything we asked the dynamics were awsome and I LIVEEED for the Jiara this season

BUT the ending let me with a bittersweet taste. I have to say twitter spoiled it for me (I opened it and read something like Lukes not being JJ’s real dad and closed it so fast I autoconviced myself I read bullshit lol) but reaching to that point It made me so mad like all JJ’s storyline trough season 1-3 was him becoming a better person than his Dad and showing the island how the Maybank name would be a good name because of HIM. How he would become a better man DESPITE the trauma he suffered and watching all that dissapear like ???

It would have been more interested to watch JJ learn he is half Kook and have him conflicted to choose what label he wanted to have or overcome and then discover he is both and could have a middle in addition of all the identity crisis he would go trough after learning he is one rich motherfucker because of his mom’s side

Lol sorry i ranted but I needed to talk this with someone who watched the series. We will se where this take us and anyway there will always be Ao3 for our peace of mind💆🏽‍♀️

no, i agree!! i really, really don't like the plot and i am trying to keep an open-mind because obviously we have five more episodes to see. but it just feels like they are ripping away such a big part of his character for something unnecessary??

larissa is the one that is a part of the kook family, the groff dude isn't needed. we could have had a whole thing about jj processing the fact he mourned a woman who wasn't his mother, that he spent his whole life hating kooks just to end up being one himself, struggling with the fact he could either be a maybank or a kook and liking neither option

could have had jj trying to process the fact his dad lied to him about his mother, that he feels like he can't mourn the lady who was his mother because he had no idea who she was and it feels weird to mourn her but he still kinda does

it just feels like there is way more for jj to figure out and yet now they have chucked that away just for jj to be a full kook who grew up being abused by someone he always tried to win the love of, just to find out he isn't his dad?

like i get where the angst with luke will go and the struggles with jj accepting everything he has done for someone who was never his birth father but i am still not a fan of the plot as of now

and i will probably ignore it where i can in fics moving forward unless something in part two changes my mind😭

idk if you noticed but i was planning to make 2yeon have a past together,,, it's what jeongyeon was about to tell jihyo when they were having breakfast: 2yeon had a thing for a couple of months when they first got into uni and they didn't end up together because 1) they were just trying out new things and they didn't really fall in love back then and 2) jeong found someone else (and they obv didn't work out together), so yeah they became besties over the time and then nayeon got jihyo and the rest we all know

The thing is, you will never not have people say an opinion without a chance of them being rude or inflammatory while doing it. Someone will say something you dont like in a way you dont like it, but heres the thing.

Those people HAVE to grow up. They have to reach the point where they realize its not worth engaging in, if it makes you that mad. They have to get to the point where they realize they are just making it worse by getting mad. You gave to get to a point where you cannot take every generalized comment personally.

That post didnt name anyone or call anyone out in particular. So if you jumped on it with anger, you personally painted yourself as a victim instead of just realizing this person was frustrated and kind of rude and moved on.

There was no reason to engage with this person about that post that had like...3 notes by the time the situation blew up.

You cannot look at a general post not directed towards you specifically, and fly off the handle like this person came to your home and kicked your dog. You have to be more mature, and learn that sometimes people wont be nice about their opinions, and sometimes you just have to learn to ignore it instead of engaging with it.

These people need to seriously mature passed high school already. We are all adults here.

SO THE STORY RIGHT - its a think me and my friend have been workin on since like the end of 2021 n its like set in a royal fantasy like au , fantasy monsters are something that havent been brought up in the discussion but we have cool magic stuff LOL . the most stuff thats defined is the very basic plot idea , the MCs r named Ashe Najimek ( prince , any pronouns ) , Rin Vasilios ( princess , she/her ) , and Kiole Soubaki ( king , he/him ) . dont question ANY of these last names because najimeks is just a keyboard smash and the rest were chosen by my friend they have no significant whatsoever LOL . aaaanyways , rin and ashe are basically from this mainland where all the kingdoms are secretly feuding with eachother but in order to maintain peace for the citizens they wont start an actual war . basically its every kingdom for themselves except for their silly trading systems . ashe and rins kingdoms are like at eachothers throats now since ashe and rin were born with the most magical power their lands have ever seen and its that trope where “child gets born into power and parents use them for own benefit causing child to rebel” yada yada but WUH OH WHATS THAT IS THAT 🫢🫢😨😱 GASP ANGST ?!?????!???? yeah lets go were tormenting our characters today baby ‼️‼️ the full book will go into the struggles of rin and ashe and how they end up as a result of how they take their circumstances . and how they become friends bc of those circumstances . lovely friendship . oh and theres two others that are their guards . Sio and Erza Eztli . theyre twins n stuff .
