OKAY SO LIKE UH, I love Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines set up and setting - so I've been reimagining the Stakebait coterie and etc as the main characters of its plot... So here's Ralph and Khlo culminating their relative slowburn romance during the game. Bathed in the bisexual lighting of some California city in the middle of a sect war just finding love in the dark places!! I'm sorry this is a break sketch that got out of handddd. (my cheesy write up beneath the cut!)

Ralph: *The Nosferatu Thinblood stares out at the city below them, the two Kindred bathed in neon. He doesn't look at her as he begins his nervous confession.* "I just think you're... so cool." Khloe: *She looks a bit taken aback that someone she thinks is pretty impressive likes her in any capacity. She doesn't think very highly of her looks. For a moment, she looks down, taking into account what she should do next. She decides to be brave and to take hold of what she wants - him. Khloe's hand reaches out and takes Ralph's shoulder to give the both of them a foundation.* Khloe: "I-I think you're very cool, too." *It feels like the hardest thing in the world to say. It feels like the easiest thing she could ever say.* Ralph: *He finally turns and looks at her, obviously nervous as the both of them feel their still beating - despite it all - hearts pounding.* "Yeah?" Khloe: *She doesn't break eye contact.* "Yeah." Ralph: "Oh." *He almost falls into her as his clawed hands wrap around her head, cradling her as they both lean in to kiss the other.* "Thank God."

@bangsinc it was back since December last year! However I have to mention, this isn't a continuation of what I left on back in 2020, but a complete revamp (cuz man that AU was beyond salvation lmao sorry).

This post explains it in more detail but tl;dr: no longer related to Bloodlines, just Vampire the Masquerade; entirely new plot; rewritten and redesigned characters; different setting.

i have a vtm chronicle in the works right now so to get that out of the way; i have in total of 6 major kindred (vampire) npcs in manila by night that being — alejandra de silva, louisa grace mallari, david ramos, rudy aquino, samuel fernandez and may fernando :)

for my friends’ chronicles and the ocs i play as i have florante, ùlfr, and vivienne peng so 3 here

for my NON-chronicle ocs, i have milena, ellis harmon, alvis thaltcher, romeo portman (4 here)

for vtmb i have a shameless self insert that being ophelia reverie dhdhsh (1 there)

and for my own original works i have vince levesque from my silly dark fantasy story though she’s kinda classified under “demon” more but ehh he has vampiric traits so it counts. and i also have a vampiresona. adding all that together brings me to like about 16 total vampire ocs with 20 if i count my au ocs😭😭

In order: 

-Anton Lacroix: Toreador (yes he’s Sebastian Lacroix’ dad. Is extremely devoted to late wife Katia and attempts to collect every piece of artwork she’s ever done. His art is outfit design and doesn’t know Sebastian is alive)

-Willem: Venture (Anton’s best friend and depending on au is Sebastian’s sire. A lot of people mistake him for a toreador because he likes to make wine and metalsmith.)

- “Ume”: 4th gen Tzimische/ Tzimische adjacent antediluvian

(there’s a-lot to say about him , so for brevity’s sake, some fae sent him back to the past and he got turned into a vamp and hoping to save his vamp bf in the future from his final death)

-Izaya: Malkavian

(my second vtmb character and Ume’s bf. Again a lot to say but simply put his sire ate a Tremere, so izaya can do exactly two high level spells and anything else is a major flop. He likes to press every single button Sebastian has and is a menace to kindred and kind alike.)

-Jessica: Lasombra (v5)

(Again a lot to say but specifically in v5 Sabbat kinda thing. Is the bishop of Savanah Georgia, works at the local Waffle House, has a human roommate named Marcy who likes to role play as a Victorian vamp, and is in a pissing contest with the local head of the second inquisition. Her superior is trying to convert her to traditional Sabbat ideals through her fight with the SI. <I don’t care if her story isn’t lore accurate I’m the story teller here.>)

- Durante: Tremere

(A powerful player in the Tremere pyramid, rival to Oliver Thrace, and technically the sire to Preston Varrick. He’s sadistic, manipulative and likes toying with his ghoul at the time, Preston. Decides he going to eat the Salubri Dominico to one up Thrance, wins the dominance battle but mentally peaces out once he realizes he can’t take being more emotionally aware of people; leaving his body to be taken over by Dominico.)

-Dominico: Salubri

(there’s a lot for him again, but once he gets control of his new body he actively tries to hide that he’s a Salubri from the rest of the pyramid while attempting to teach Preston, his new childe, how to be a good little Tremere and how to use blood magic. <he sucks at both of these, blind leading the blind here.> and to figure out how to escape the pyramid. Thrace figures it out and after turning his own childe and their lover into a gargoyle, decides he wants Preston to be his new childe and proceeds to execute Dominico via beheading with wire. Preston never finds out Dominico died and was told he ran from the pyramid.

@kim-ono tagged me to do this several days ago but I haven't really been on tumblr lately (I'm so strong I deserve so many prizes for ignoring the urge to abandon work in favour of Microblogging Platform) so I've only just seen it. oops

Currently reading: Technically—if we're being extremely generous and stretching the meaning of the word "reading" until it's some sort of fucked up taffy or perhaps bubblegum—I'm reading Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. I started it near the end of May, put it down when I fell EXTREMELY ill in June, and never got around to picking it back up because I have a lot of work to catch up on that keeps piling up no matter what I do. (Which, on one hand, great, money for me; on the other hand, I'm so tireddddd, I want to read something for pleasure and not out of obligation :diosmio:)

Currently watching: Still going through Star Trek: TNG! When I'm over at my mom's we watch it every night at dinner; we're on... season 5, I think? Aside from that, I have yet to finish Wayne's latest Fin Fin stream, largely on account of—again—having precious little time to myself, and when I do finally have some time to myself either I'm so mentally exhausted that I can't focus or I end up deciding I'd rather spend that mental energy on other things.

Current obsession: In terms of interests, Elden Ring continues to reign supreme. I like other things well enough, even Iove them, but ER holds my attention like nothing else can. I'll sink hours upon hours upon hours into that game and to me it only seems like minutes have passed. The day the DLC finally releases is the day I fall off the face of the Earth for a month because I'll be too busy playing. (Although I heard that it's set to come out in Q1 or Q2 2024, instead of this year, which is devastating news to me; more likely than not I'll be in college by then and therefore extremely pressed for free time.)

And also a mixture of replaying VTMB and talking to Joy about DiscOCs VTM AU and vampire concepts has put me back in a very VTM mood. Not quite an obsession yet. But oh I am thinking.
