I saw some art in a kind of trading card style and I couldn't help but mock up some rough dungeon meshi mtg cards! I know the party mechanic would fit pretty well here but I was already halfway done by the time I realized lol and also I don't play with that mechanic so idrk how it works!!!

*In Chapter 42, Laios mentions he hasn't seen his parents in over a decade. From the Adventurer's Bible, Falin estimates her parents were about 30 years old a decade ago. Touden's appearances were in either flashbacks of Laios' and Falin's childhoods or from Laios' nightmare, which was relying on his memories. Touden's current appearance in his 40s has not been shown.

**Assuming Marcille didn't enroll in magic school until after her father died at age 82, the youngest he could have been when she was born was 47. He looks similar in memories from when Marcille was a baby and a small child, so late 40s to late 50s seems a safe estimate for his age as he appears in Chapters 79-81.

Miscellaneous Notes:

Chilchuck is canonically underweight.

Shuro's pics were from Chapters 33, 36, and 38 when he wasn't eating or resting properly.

Touden's pics were from Chapters 26 and 42 and the latest edition of the Adventurer's Bible. There is a change in art style between Ch 26 and Ch 42, but he is estimated 30yo in both appearances.

Donato's pics were from Chapters 79, 80, and 81. Technically most of the pics are of a Doppelganger, but it based its appearance on Marcille's memories, and it looks similar to Donato from the flashbacks to Marcille's early childhood.

Doodle dump! In which I experiment to try and find my own Chilchuck and learn that eye level is everything… Difference between the first one and second one is that in the second one, the original, the eyes were higher. From Discord, people’s favorite was unanimousiy the first headshot/the uncolored one in upper left corner, buuut the one I colored is more my syle. I think my Chils are gonna remain inconsistent. Honorable mention that didn’t make it into the final doodle board is Chilchuck with side-parted hair which I think is 10/10

The lil chibi headshots I drew before the anime came out when I was still trying to find their shapes, but I colored them today with the anime palettes and I like how moody they are. Why is Marcille so weirdly hard to pin down

Im soooo happy with this!! She was really hard to figure out, especially since I'm not used to drawing animal features, but with trial and error I got it to where I like it.

I was originally planning for this to be a keychain design, but the more I look at it, the more it looks like it's perfect to be a acrylic standee design as well... what do you think?

the way the ericson group were at the outbreak just a bunch of troubled kids who made various mistakes or committed crimes and were judged by a system that punished and abandoned them instead of giving them the support and love they needed, are then nearly a decade later put into a situation where now they must judge a troubled child for the mistakes and crimes hes committed against them. and 5 to 3 vote them out 😭
