A Trick and A Treat
Tumblr media
Warnings: allusions to non con/dubcon, bullying, and other possible dark elements. Proceed with caution.
Note: Here is another wish!
Please leave some feedback so I know you want me to do more of the wishes I got. Otherwise, I find it hard to keep my motivation.
Wish Corrupted: I wish Rafe Cameron would crash my Halloween party.
Tumblr media
“I think we got everything,” you haul up the reusable grocery bag on your shoulder.
“It’s going to be awesome,” Claire smiles back at you, “lowkey.”
“Did you hear back from Janie yet? I got the special oat milk she wanted.”
“Um, not yet. She wasn’t sure if she was chilling with us or–
“Huh, yeah, I mean, no worries,” you shrug it off. “Not all of us are cool enough to go to the shore.”
“Who wants to?” Claire wrinkles her nose, “just a bunch of drunk idiots with nothing better to do.”
“Isn’t that what college is?” You chuckle.
She hums in agreement. Neither of you have been a part of the popular crowd. You barely qualify for kook status and in your experience, Pogues are a lot nicer. It’s like walking a tightrope between them; not rich enough to skip college, and not poor enough to hang at the banks.
“I swear I saw one of my professors at the frat,” you lower your voice and giggle, “do you think they ever grow out of it?”
“Not if they can help it,” she rolls her eyes.
You chuckle and carry on. The weight of your snacks is heavier by the step. You should’ve just taken your mother’s Volvo but the walk isn’t that long and you hate to waste the gas. As you come up the incline of your street, you hear a motor rev, followed by a whistle.
“Hey, kitty, kitty,” a voice hollers and as you look back and egg cracks across your face. The shatter is painful as the shell breaks and the yolks leaks down your cheek and chin.
“Look at that wet pussy!” Another voice calls as the truck chortles and veers off. You sputter and swipe the egg from your face, holding back a sob. You cradle your cheek at the tingling there. Ow.
“Fucking jackasses!” Claire cries out, “god! Go back to high school!” She hollers through cupped hands. She turns back to you and gasps, “oh my god, are you okay?”
“Yeah, yeah, it’s fine,” you sniff, “I’m fine. Just egg, right?”
“I can’t believe that,” she sneers as she pulls down her sleeve and wipes your face with it, “talk about never growing up.”
“Really, it’s okay,” you adjust the bag on your shoulder and reach to take off the cat ears you picked up from the grocery store as a joke. “I’m okay.”
“It’s not okay,” she grabs the headband from you, “don’t let them ruin the fun.”
She puts them back on your head and glares up the street. She huffs and shakes her head as she grabs your hands and hurries you along. You seal your lips and blink through the swell, you’re not going to cry. High school is over, you’re an adult.
🐈‍⬛
Janie doesn’t turn up but Adelyn does. The three of you have a quaint Halloween planned. Hot drinks and horror movies, who could ask for more?
You make a mess of the kitchen with whipped cream and sprinkles before you crowd onto the couch under a shared blanket in the dark. The titles for the first Halloween play as the music sets a frightening ambience. You sip from your stacked apple cider as Claire licks cream from her fingers as it rips from the brim of her cocoa.
Adelyn turns to lean against the armrest and stretches her legs over Claire’s lap. You sink back into the cushy couch, transfixed by the classic film. You haven’t seen it in years so it’s like watching it all over again. The eerie soundtracks and jarring noises put you on edge and you sit up, leaning in as you expect Michael to pop out at any moment.
You hear a thump and look around. You can’t see much, the curtains are drawn and the screen doesn’t offer much illumination. It’s just the movie. That surround sound always confuses you. Besides, Claire and Adelyn aren’t bothered.
You lean forward and put down your sticky cup. The others are pretty much done too. You cross your arms and nestle into the side of the couch. The music turns frantic as Michael closes in on his next victim. You hold your breath…
“Boo!” The voice is right behind you.
Claire screams and throws her hands up. You look over as a shadow bends over her, grabbing her by the neck and dragging her over the back. What the fuck–
Your hair is clamped in someone’s hand as you’re wrenched against the side of the couch. You shriek as the speaker volume amps up, muffling out the real life terror. Adelyn whimpers as she hits the floor in front of the couch and tries to scramble away.
“Hey Claire Bear,” you recognise the voice as the screen glares off Topper’s features, “happy halloween.”
“Let go!” You hiss and kick out as your feet hit the floor, “get off–”
“Kitty, kitty,” Rafe’s snarls in your ear as his breath grazes against your skin, “I’ve been dying to get my hands on you.”
You can’t believe what’s happening. Your personal tormentor has you locked in his grip. Your face stings with the memory of the shattered egg, the cool drizzle of yolk down your cheek. You shiver and grasp blindly at his hands.
“What are you– why are you doing this?” You gulp out.
Adelyn is dragged under Kelce as he straddles her, groping her as the screen flickers over them. Rafe’s other arm hooks around your waist and he pulls you with him as he backs away. You flaily wildly, head stuck as he keeps his hand tight around your hair.
“Trick or treat,” he growls.
Claire screams and you hear a clatter. You don’t understand. Rafe Cameron hates your guts. He pushed your books on the floor, he shoved you in lockers, he spit on your graduation robes. He’s a monster but not the one you expected that night.
“I got both, don’t worry,” he rasps as he hurls you against a wall.
“Please,” you slide down to your knee, paralysed by the impact, “please, I didn’t do anything–”
“That doesn’t matter,” his shadow looms over you, “cause I’m about to do a whole lot of something.”
He bends over you as you shield yourself with an arm. He pushes it aside and frames your jaw, pulling your head up. He leans in as the surround sound bursts with noise, the metallic shink of stabbing and horrid screams.
“Let’s play a game, kitty,” he runs his finger along your chin, “hide and seek…” he draws his hand away, “I’ll count to ten and you can hide. Then I’ll come find you…”
“Please,” you sniffle.
“One,” he stands over you, “two…”
You put one foot down, shaking as you fight to get the other under you.
“Three,” you stand and stagger around blindly in the dark, “four,” you feel your way into the next room, “five…” you hit a table, sending a vase to the floor, “six…,” you get to the bottom of the stairs, “seven…” you hesitate and turn to face the front door. “Eight…” you stumble towards your escape, “nine…” hand on the knob, “ten.”
The door opens and you dash out. Three steps before you yanked back. You whimper as the door slams shut just as quickly, kicked by your accoster.
Rafe’s arm hooks around your neck and he pulls you back. He chuckles as he hauls you with him, dragging you to the stairs, your feet bouncing off each step as he ascends a step at a time.
“Not fast enough, kitty,” he taunts, “I choose…” his other hand crawls down your stomach and cups your cunt as he reaches the landing “treat.”

Twilight- The Switch Of Daylight- Chapter One, Birthday Wishes
(Alice X Reader X Jasper)
Tumblr media
[One] [Two]
Charlie and I are downstairs, getting the gifts ready right before we make our way up to go wake up Bella.
Or she’s already up we just need to give her these presents. Charlie goes up first with me behind him excited. He knocks on the door once and then enters. “Happy Birthday, Bells.” He says. “Dad, [Name] we agreed no gifts.” She tells us and I roll my eyes. “At least mines is not wrapped.” He hands her a digital camera, “Okay, this is actually kind of great. Thanks, Dad.” She grinned at it, Charlie then gives her another gift, this time it was wrapped.
“Goes with this one, from your mom. We coordinated- well, she coordinated me.” He explains and I smirk as I did hear all their phone calls. “Mines not a part of it.” I hand her mine, “Don’t open it yet.” She nods and places it next to her. She opens the gift from Mom, it’s a scrapbook. “To put your pictures in, record your senior year.” He says then pauses as he thinks for a moment. “Man, senior year. How’d you get old so fast.” He teases her. “Not that old,” Bella mutters.
“I don’t know, is that a wrinkle.” He jokes but Bella freaks out, racing over to her mirror, searching for the wrinkle. “I was kidding.” He huffs. “So not funny Dad.” She grunts.
Charlie makes his leave and I close the door behind him. “Open my gift.” I grin. “[Name]-” “I don’t want to hear it.” I cut her off, shoving the gift in her arms. I patiently wait as she opens it. There lay two silver bracelets in a box. Had two charms each on both, hers having a dark blue gem then a plate that had the words “Love you, always” engraved into it. Mine had a red gem with the same saying. She smiles and then pulls me into a hug. “I keep forgetting how cold you are now.” She laughs, stepping back and we put the bracelets on one another. “I love it, thank you.” She jingles it around and I snicker, doing it back.
“I’m glad because I had no idea what to give you. But I wanted to piss you off with a gift.” I winked, and before she could say anything back I was already out the door.
I rode my motorcycle to school, I had told Angela that I’d give her this book I owned but I kept forgetting. Pulling into the school Angela’s already jogging over to me. “You brought it?” I then let my face drop jokingly, she doesn’t know I’m joking though. “It’s okay if you forgot again-” I cut her off with my own laughter, pulling out the book from my backpack. She sighs and chuckles too, taking the book from me. “I had to.” I bump her and then stand up from my bike. Taking off my helmet and placing it on the bike. I turn back to her with a smile, fixing my hair as well.
“I miss your septum.” She suddenly says and I raise a brow. She starts to stammer as I patiently wait for her to let it out. “I mean, I didn’t actually mean to say that out loud it’s just um, you got rid of it out of nowhere it was a part of you and now it’s like an empty... Space.” I cross my arms, kind of agreeing with her. “I guess that’s true.” I shrug. I walk her to the others but not even within minutes Bella comes and they rush over to her truck like a flock of geese.
I watch as Bella forces them to take pictures on her new camera, they all have fun with it even though Angela doesn’t like pictures she joins in as well. It was cute. It ended as fast as it started though once that familiar Volvo pulls into its normal parking space. I smirk as their faces falter. “Oh good, Cullen’s here.” I hear Mike say dryly. “Yay,” Jessica adds. They walk back over to where I was. Jessica turns to me “You’re dating the other two but you’re not like obsessed with them.” If only she knew. I shrug, “Too many homophobic and judgy people for that.” They all give me a look. “You know I’m right.” I laugh, I then notice Jacob running towards my sister, Edward seems very irritated. I didn’t even realize the group went away from me as arms wrapped around my waist, lips kissing my shoulder. I take the arms, pulling the person in front of me, I already knew it was Alice. We stood there waiting for Jasper to join us.
We walk into the school together. Alice and Jasper holding hands. Alice was holding a wrapped gift in her other hand. “Do you think she will like it?” She asks me and I take an annoyed breath. “Bella doesn’t like gifts in general but she will appreciate them.” I was not annoyed with Alice, but more with my sister who acts like she doesn’t secretly like the attention she inevitably will always get on her birthday. We went to the side of the hall, I kiss Jasper’s cheek. “Hey, cowboy.” He scoffs a laugh, rolling his eyes. Ever since he told me his backstory I’ve been teasing him about being a “cowboy”. “Hi, darling.” He whispers for me to hear. I peek over to see Alice staring at us, we look slightly down at her since she is shorter than us.
I pull her into our arms, she looks up and pecks at my lips. “You know for your birthday you’re going to get spoiled, right?” She tells me in a matter-of-fact tone. “I look forward to everything you wish to give me.” I place my hands on her hips as Jasper then points out that Bella and Edward are walking through the door. As Jasper and I walk slowly Alice skips over to my sister, presenting the present. “Happy-” “Shhh” Alice hugs her, leaning over to her ear and whispering “Birthday.” Over Alice's shoulder, she makes eye contact with Jasper who offers a nod. She pulls back from Alice, trying to hide the gift. “Alice, didn’t I say no gifts?”
“You did, I didn’t. I’ve already seen you open it and guess what? You loved it!” She excitedly says. “You had a vision about my birthday.” Bella seemed annoyed but I knew she appreciates my girlfriend. “And about the green dress, you’ll be wearing to your party tonight. Great color on you.” She compliments her, also giving away the fact that she’s throwing a party for her.
“My party?”
“Please? It’ll be fun.” Alice pleads, I hold Jaspers's hand. “Can I?” He only nods and I drain his energy then focus on Bella who slumps, defeated. Only because I’m controlling her emotions. “I guess I can deal-” “Great! See ya at seven!” Alice hugs her before racing off before she can change her mind. I laugh, squeezing Jasper’s hand as a thank you. “Wait, Jasper, no fair with the mood control.” She pouts and he gives her an apologetic nod. “Wasn’t me,”
“Was me!” I called, we get dragged off by Alice leaving my sister slightly upset.
I told Charlie about the party, I was wearing this black suit that Alice requested I wear. Lately, she’s been dressing me in what style she thinks fits me best. Very fancy stuff I might add. I left on my bike to go help finish setting things up.
Getting there I was set to be with Carlisle on some things. I hold my hands behind my back pretending to act innocent. “Do you think I can change without Alice getting upset?” I ask him and he laughs shaking his head. “No, not at all.” We lean against the kitchen counter, watching Alice who is making sure everything is perfect. “I figured.” I take off the jacket to the suit though.
Bella and Edward finally make their way into the house, she’s wearing the exact dress Alice told her about in her vision. I smile, finishing up with Carlisle before heading over to Jasper, giving him a quick kiss. “What was that for?” He asks and I kiss him again. “Just wanted to,” I tell him happily. “You look amazing.” He compliments, I roll my eyes. “I never want to wear a suit again.” He laughs in response. “I’m serious.” “I know you are.” He kisses the top of my head.
Alice comes between us, taking our hands and leading us into the living room. “You two look perfect.” We lean down so she can give us both a kiss. We stand up straight and chuckle at her as she goes to get the lovebirds upstairs.
The three make their way down the steps, and Bella is immediately embraced by Esme and Carlisle. “Sorry about all this. We tried to rein Alice in.” He humors her. “Like that’s even possible. Happy Birthday, Bella.” Esme steps back with a grin on her sweet face. I notice Alice holding up a camera right as she clicks it to go off. The flash startled my sister a tiny bit. “Found it in your bag. You mind?” She asks, Bella shakes her head no as in she doesn’t mind.
“Dating an older woman. Hot.” Emmett speaks up to Edward. I hide my face in Jaspers's shoulder laughing. “What?” He asks defensively after Edward had elbowed him.
Rosalie then steps up, handing Bella a silver package. “It’s a necklace. Alice picked it out.” She walks away. Short. Not sweet. But short.
Bella finally looks over to Jasper and I. She waves and I know it’s for him, he does it back and I smile, proud of him. Alice snaps a picture of him and I then back to Bella. “Show me the love!” Edward pulls Bella into an embrace, they look deeply into one another's eyes. Another flash. “For your scrapbook. Now open your presents.” She drags the girl over to a table with a pile of gifts, a huge cake, and a stake of chine plates.
“Alice, I’m the only one who even eats.” She motions to the huge cake. “Hope your hunger. Here, this one’s from Emmett.” Everyone crowds around, I stand in front of Jasper. Bella opens it to see an empty car radio box. “Um… thanks?” She looked up, confused. “Already installed it in your truck.” He proudly states.
“Finally a decent sound system in that piece of-” “No hating on the truck. Thank you, Emmett.” Bella smiles then Alice hands her another gift. “Open mine.” Bella starts to open it then she cuts her finger on the wrapping. “Ouch, paper cut.” Blood appears and I feel Jasper tense and I get pushed aside. “No!!” I shouted as he lunges at my sister. Edward flings Bella behind him causing her to crash into the table. The plates shattered beneath her. I run over to her as Edward shoves Jasper into the wall but he ricochets off it and comes back at Bella. Emmett along with Carlisle tackles Jasper to the ground, Alice holds him whispering to him to comfort him.  I groan at the scent of her blood, trying to help her. My jaw tensed.
Bella lifts her arm up and a pool of blood leaks out. I grunt, getting her to stand up. “I need to get out of here,” I say through gritted teeth. Accidentally pushing her onto Carlisle I storm out of the house. Not even moments later Emmett and Rosalie bring out Jasper.
I stare at him, draining his energy, his snarls coming to a complete stop. The two let him go and he falls to the ground as he’s losing more and more control of himself. I don’t even realize how far I am going. “[Name]! Calm down!” Alice shoves me back and I stumble back. He lays there collecting himself. “He- My sister. I am not sorry!” I rub my face, and looking back at him I notice dark circles under his eyes.
“I didn’t mean to go that far.” I bow my head down. “I forgive you, I need the night to myself and my sister though,” I tell them both, frowning at the sight. I go back inside and Edward was waiting outside of the door where Bella was getting cleaned up.
“You hurt her.” I spit out, his eyes glancing up at me. “You have brung nothing but trouble to our lives,” I tell him with sincerity. “I wouldn’t have been a monster if it was for you entering her life.” I point a finger at his chest, but he doesn’t respond. “I am angry that I now have to risk her life just from a cut.” I shove him into the wall. “You will fix this.” I furrow my eyebrows angrily at him, pushing him further into the wall right as the door opens. I step back. “I’m driving you home.” I grab her by the arm, she tries to get out of my grip but I don’t allow it.
“[Name]!” “Enough! You will go home with me and that is final, Bella!” I shout at her, “Enough with this game and risking your fucking life!” I scream, she finally drops down defeated and we step outside. All of the Cullens are watching, Rosalie is even tense from the scene. I let Bella climb in and I slam the door.
“You all think about this night. Think about how you’re putting my sister in danger.” I speak just loud enough for them to hear me and not her. “Am I clear?” I fold my arms. They only nod in response. “I will talk later.”
So this one is a little shorter than my last few but wanted to end this chapter here or else the next one would've been way too long for my liking. Also, Alice's height is 4'10 in the book so that's what I'm basing it off of. Jasper is 6'3 and I'm making [Name]'s 5'6 medium height bitch. I kind of got writer's block. Well not really, I can write the story in my notebook but I can't get it all on my computer because I get a little bored after a little bit. It takes me longer to come up with ideas when I'm typing compared to actually writing it might be weird but it's what I do.

so. a thought captured me the other day. about what kinds of cars the undersiders would drive if they could/did.
taylor - 1990 volvo 740. look at it. it just fits. practical and plain but kinda classy.
Tumblr media
brian - i know everyone's thinking minivan or station wagon or sedan but honestly a 2005 ford mustang fits way too well. it's a muscle car that is generally widely regarded by car people as being thoroughly mediocre. brian, of course, would not know this. he would see a relatively inexpensive muscle car, think 'that looks cool' and buy it, not realizing that he is going through a midlife crisis at 17. aisha makes fun of him for it.
Tumblr media
lisa - porsche 911 (paint: black with purple pinstriping). do i even need to explain.
Tumblr media
rachel: older pickup truck, not sure what model (she doesn't care) with off-road tires and upgraded suspension. rusty, smells like dog food, and is probably pretty messy.
Tumblr media
aisha: wins award for most terrifying car on the list. heavily modified dodge viper. swapped cams, bored cylinders, forged parts, turbochargers, upgraded exhaust, the works. also has a very cool paint job (something like jet black with neon pink and green accents). the kind of car the main antagonist in a movie about street racing would have.

Begin Again - Lee Dutton
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lee Dutton x OC (Natalie WentWorth)
Summary: The life of renowned lawyer Natalie WentWorth was quiet in Boston, but everything changed when she received a call from a former Harvard colleague, Jamie Dutton. After reflecting a lot, Natalie agreed to solve some problems at the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, but she did not imagine that her life would change completely when she arrived in Montana. One of the reasons for this change was Lee Dutton, the eldest son of John Dutton, cowboy and livestock agent, who would represent all the comfort she needed to have in the midst of the chaos of the Dutton family. Natalie could begin again at that ranch.
Warnings: Subtle sexual innuendos, brief language, alcohol consumption, angst, smut, fluffy.
Parte II
Boston folks
Natalie stared at the steering wheel, frustration bubbling over. She turned the key in the ignition once more, but all she got was the same pitiful click. Her Volvo refused to start, as stubborn as she was. After everything—being brushed off by John Dutton, navigating a tense auction hall full of Montana’s roughest ranchers, and dealing with Jamie’s half-baked plans—the last thing she needed was a dead car.
She leaned her forehead against the wheel, taking a deep breath. She’d been at this for what felt like forever, but the car wouldn’t budge. Damn it.
Just then, she heard the unmistakable rumble of a truck pulling up behind her. She didn’t need to look to know who it was.
"Car trouble, Miss Wentworth?" Lee’s voice carried that familiar mix of amusement and concern. He was enjoying this far too much.
She sat up straight, took another breath, and forced her face into a mask of calm before turning to face him. "Nope. Just sitting here for fun."
Lee chuckled, his grin widening. He stepped closer to her window. "Need a hand, or are you too proud to admit defeat?"
Natalie narrowed her eyes at him. "I’m perfectly capable of handling my own car, thank you very much."
"Sure you are," he said, leaning against the side of her car, clearly settling in for a long conversation. "But you’ve been at it for a while now, haven’t you? You can keep fighting it, or you can let me help."
She glanced down at the key in her hand, contemplating her options. She hated asking for help, especially from someone like Lee who seemed to think he had the world figured out. But, unfortunately, so did her car.
With a heavy sigh, she turned back to him. "Fine. You win. What can you do?"
Lee straightened up, a cocky grin playing on his lips. "That’s more like it." He walked around to the front of her car, lifted the hood, and took a look. After a few minutes of tinkering, he stepped back and shrugged. "Looks like your battery’s shot. I can tow it for you if you want."
Natalie pursed her lips. "I didn’t realize Montana hospitality involved towing cars for damsels in distress."
Lee gave her a look. "You ain’t no damsel, but we help our own out here. Whether they like it or not."
She crossed her arms, stubbornness flaring up again. "I don’t need rescuing."
"No one said you did," he shot back, heading toward his truck. "But you do need a ride. Now, unless you plan on walking to your new apartment, I suggest you let me do what I’m good at."
She bit her lip, watching him as he hooked up her car to his powerful truck. The man was infuriating, but there was no denying he knew what he was doing. Eventually, she relented, slipping out of her car and making her way toward his truck.
"Just… don’t think this means I owe you anything," she muttered as she climbed into the passenger seat.
"I wouldn’t dream of it," Lee drawled, sliding into the driver’s seat. He turned the key, and the engine roared to life beneath them. As they pulled out of the parking lot, Natalie found herself watching the landscape pass by, the mountains cutting into the sky like jagged teeth.
After a few moments of silence, Lee glanced over at her. "You know, you could’ve just flown in. Would’ve saved you a lot of trouble."
Natalie shrugged, her eyes still on the horizon. "I don’t like flying."
He raised an eyebrow, expecting more. "Bad experience?"
"No," she said simply. "I just don’t like it. I like driving. I like the control, the speed. The feeling of being on the road. Planes… they take that away from you."
Lee chuckled softly. "You like speed, huh? That why you drove thirty-six hours straight just to deal with a bunch of stubborn ranchers?"
She smirked. "Among other things."
He shook his head, half-impressed, half-amused. "You Boston folks are something else."
Natalie shot him a look. "Oh really? And what makes us so different from you cowboys’?"
Lee grinned. "Well, for one thing, we don’t mind helping folks out when they need it. Seems like you city types are too busy trying to prove something all the time."
She bristled at that. "That’s not true. In Boston, people help each other. We just don’t go around assuming everyone needs saving."
Lee raised an eyebrow. "Is that what you think this is? Me trying to save you?"
"You tell me," she retorted. "I didn’t ask for your help."
"No," he agreed, his tone calm. "But that doesn’t mean you didn’t need it."
Natalie opened her mouth to argue but stopped herself. She hated that he had a point. Back in Boston, she was used to fending for herself. It was a dog-eat-dog world, and asking for help was seen as a weakness. Here, though, things were different. People just… helped, without expecting anything in return. It was disconcerting.
"I guess we see things differently," she muttered after a moment. "In the city, no one has time to stop and offer help. Everyone’s too busy."
"Maybe that’s the problem," Lee said quietly, glancing at her. "Out here, we don’t see kindness as a weakness. We just see it as the right thing to do."
She scoffed. "Kindness? You call this kindness? You’ve been teasing me non-stop since we met."
"Hey, I’m just having a little fun," he said, smiling. "Can’t blame me for trying to lighten the mood."
"I can, actually," she replied dryly. "And I will."
He laughed, his deep, warm chuckle filling the cab of the truck. "Alright, alright. I’ll tone it down. But you’ve got to admit—it’s better than sitting in silence, brooding."
"I don’t brood," she snapped.
"Could’ve fooled me," Lee teased. She shot him a glare, but he just smiled wider.
They fell into a more comfortable silence after that, the tension between them easing as they drove. When they reached her new apartment building, Lee parked the truck and got out to unhook her car.
As he finished up, he turned to her. "Need help with your bags?"
Natalie shook her head immediately. "I can manage."
Lee leaned against his truck, folding his arms over his chest. "You sure about that? You don’t have to prove anything to me, you know."
"I don’t need your help, Lee," she insisted, her voice firm. "Just because I’m from the city doesn’t mean I’m incapable of carrying my own bags."
He chuckled. "Never said you couldn’t. Just thought it might be nice for you to take a break, is all."
"I don’t need a break," she replied sharply. "I’ve been taking care of myself for years, and I’m not about to stop now just because some cowboy with a hero complex thinks I should."
Lee’s smile faded, and he raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, Miss Wentworth. Have it your way."
She nodded once, satisfied. But as she grabbed her suitcase from the back seat, she couldn’t help but glance at him out of the corner of her eye. He was still standing there, watching her with that infuriating calmness, like he had all the time in the world.
Finally, she spoke up. "Why do you even care? You don’t know me. You don’t owe me anything."
Lee shrugged. "Doesn’t have to be that complicated. Sometimes, it’s just about doing what feels right."
She stared at him for a moment, trying to make sense of his words. In Boston, everything was calculated. People didn’t do things without a reason. But here, in this strange, wild place, people seemed to operate on a different set of rules—rules she didn’t fully understand.
"Maybe you’re right," she admitted quietly, almost to herself.
Lee smiled again, but this time it was softer, less teasing. "Maybe I am. Or maybe we just see the world differently."
With that, he tipped his hat and climbed back into his truck. "Good luck with the rest of your night, Miss Wentworth. If you need anything else, you know where to find me."
She watched him drive off, the rumble of his truck fading into the distance. As she carried her bags inside, she couldn’t shake the feeling that her time in Montana was going to challenge her in ways she never expected.
And somehow, she didn’t entirely hate the idea.

Bella Swan is a hater to her core
On literally the first page she goes on about how she despises Forks, calling it an "inconsequential town" and "It was from this town and its gloomy, omnipresent shade that my mother escaped with me when I was only a few months old." She then goes on to say she "put her foot down" was she was 14 and made Charlie start vacationing with her in California for two weeks during the summer instead of her going to see him. She's such a hater bitch that she limits her dad to only seeing her for two weeks a year because she can't just suck it up and spend two months of the summer in a small town with him
She's then in the car on the way home with Charlie staring at the scenery talking about how green everything in Washington is and gives what should be a pretty description of beautiful trees and vegetation but instead ends it with "It was too green - an alien planet."
She makes several comments about how she's displeased with how the house has one bathroom and having to share with Charlie, going as far to call it a "communal bathroom" - girl you're two people I promise sharing a bathroom with one other person is not going to kill you
On the first day of school she makes a lot of comments negging the students she meets, but the one that stands out to me the most is when Eric gets introduced and she says "A gangly boy with skin problems and hair black as an oil slick leaned across the aisle to talk to me." Hey you simply don't have to talk about him like that
In chapter 3 it snows for the first time and everyone else at school is excited and having a good time and playing in the snow meanwhile Bella "I jumped up to look outside, and then groaned in horror." As far as I can tell this may be one of the only times she's seen snow in her life, if not the first time, after growing up in Phoenix and only coming to Forks in the summer and instead of joining her friends having a good time with the snow or commenting at all about how its pretty she jumps immediately to being negative about it
This final part I want to point out I love and I am on her side 100% Edward's cut her off in the school parking lot she wants to hit his volvo with her truck so goddamn bad "My foot itched toward the gas pedal... one little bump woulnt hurt any of them, just his glossy paint job" Go off girl hit is goddamn car
In conclusion, Bella is a bitch and a hater down to the very fiber of her being

The Swedish capital now has a plan in place to ban gas and diesel cars in part of the city beginning in 2025, according to Bloomberg. The ban is going to begin in a 20 block area around the capital's finance hub, the report says.
The same area also houses the city's main shopping attractions. It'll only allow "electric cars, some hybrid trucks and fuel cell vehicles", the report says, citing rules reported by SVT that will be presented mid-week(..)
P.S. One more reason to ditch fossil fuel vehicles...It looks like a fairly rich area of the city and for the majority of residents there, new electric cars are not such an expensive purchase, especially considering that around 2024, several new electric cars will enter the European car market at much more affordable prices such as the Volvo EX30...

"Rules Of The Blues"😉😎😎
Tumblr media
1. Most Blues begin, "Woke up this morning..."
2. "I got a good woman" is a bad way to begin the Blues, unless you stick something nasty in the next line like, "I got a good woman, with the meanest face in town."
3. The Blues is simple. After you get the first line right, repeat it. Then find something that rhymes... sort of: "Got a good woman with the meanest face in town. Yes, I got a good woman with the meanest face in town. Got teeth like Margaret Thatcher, and she weigh 500 pound."
4. The Blues is not about choice. You stuck in a ditch, you stuck in a ditch--ain't no way out.
5. Blues cars: Chevys, Fords, Cadillacs and broken-down trucks. Blues don't travel in Volvos, BMWs, or Sport Utility Vehicles. Most Blues transportation is a Greyhound bus or a southbound train. Jet aircraft and company motor pools ain't even in the running. Walkin' plays a major part in the blues lifestyle. So does fixin' to die.
6. Teenagers can't sing the Blues. They ain't fixin' to die yet. Adults sing the Blues. In Blues, "adulthood" means being old enough to get the electric chair if you shoot a man in Memphis.
7. Blues can take place in New York City but not in Hawaii or any place in Canada. Hard times in Minneapolis or Seattle is probably just clinical depression. Chicago, St. Louis, and Kansas City are still the best places to have the Blues. You cannot have the blues in any place that don't get rain.
8. A man with male pattern baldness ain't the blues. A woman with male pattern baldness is. Breaking your leg cause you were skiing is not the blues. Breaking your leg 'cause a alligator be chompin' on it is.
9. You can't have no Blues in a office or a shopping mall. The lighting is wrong. Go outside to the parking lot or sit by the dumpster.
10. Good places for the Blues:
a. Highway
b. Jailhouse
c. An empty bed
d. Bottom of a whiskey glass
11. Bad places for the Blues:
a. Nordstrom's
b. Gallery openings
c. Ivy league institutions
d. Golf courses
12. No one will believe it's the Blues if you wear a suit, 'less you happen to be a old ethnic person, and you slept in it.
13. You have the right to sing the Blues if:
a. You older than dirt
b. You blind
c. You shot a man in Memphis
d. You can't be satisfied
14. You don't have the right to sing the Blues if:
a. You have all your teeth
b. You were once blind but now can see
c. The man in Memphis lived
d. You have a pension fund
15. Blues is not a matter of color. It's a matter of bad luck. Tiger Woods cannot sing the blues. Sonny Liston could. Ugly white people also got a leg up on the blues.
16. If you ask for water and your darlin' give you gasoline, it's the Blues
17. Other acceptable Blues beverages are:
a. Cheap wine
b. Whiskey or bourbon
c. Muddy water
d. Nasty black coffee
18. The following are NOT Blues beverages:
a. Perrier
b. Chardonnay
c. Snapple
d. Slim Fast
19. If death occurs in a cheap motel or a shotgun shack, it's a Blues death. Stabbed in the back by a jealous lover is another Blues way to die. So is the electric chair, substance abuse and dying lonely on a broke-down cot. You can't have a Blues death if you die during a tennis match or while getting liposuction.
20. Some Blues names for women:
a. Sadie
b. Big Mama
c. Bessie
d. Fat River Dumpling
21. Some Blues names for men:
a. Joe
b. Willie
c. Little Willie
d. Big Willie
22. Persons with names like Michelle, Amber, Debbie, and Heather can't sing the Blues no matter how many men they shoot in Memphis.
23. Make your own Blues name Starter Kit: a. name of physical infirmity (Blind, Cripple, Lame, etc.) b. first name (see above) plus name of fruit (Lemon, Lime, Melon, Kiwi, etc.) c. last name of President (Jefferson, Johnson, Fillmore, etc.) For example: Blind Lime Jefferson, Jackleg Lemon Johnson or Cripple Kiwi Fillmore, etc. (Well, maybe not "Kiwi.")
24. I don't care how tragic your life: if you own even one computer, you cannot sing the blues.

Cara Beth Satalino — Little Green (Worried Songs)
Tumblr media
Turning into an adult has never been easy, but the people who progressed from late teens and 20s into mid-life over the last couple of years have had an especially rough go of it, given the pandemic, the lockdown and the oncoming climate apocalypse. Cara Beth Satalino, the fresh-voiced center of country-folk Outer Spaces, was among this unlucky cohort. One day she was carefree, singing her songs in bars and small clubs, the next she found herself diagnosed with chronic illness, isolated in New Jersey and unexpectedly pregnant.
The title track of this first solo album tracks that series of events in luminous folk style, a fragile voice pushing up through reverb shrouded guitar. “I used to be puppy dog, I used to be a little green, little leaf unfolding, reaching out for anything at all,” croons Satalino in “Little Green,” the brief song that is, maybe, the key to the whole album. “I used to play on my guitar, up in there at the bar, I used to sing a yearning song, a little leaf unfolding, little leaf unfolding.” The “used to” part is heartbreaking, but the song suggests a path out, the possibility of tending a garden where other leaves may eventually unfold. Satalino sings in a tender but resolute way, making her peace with the new normal.
These songs have a fresh-scrubbed authenticity, centered on Satalino’s raspy soprano and forthright language, though they often swell, mid-cut, into multi-voiced, descanting fullness. “Time,” for instance, begin in simplicity, its jangling guitar paced by kick drum, a pedal steel curving up through the verse. Satalino’s singing is straightforward, rich but unornamented, until it blossoms in dizzying harmonies and counterpoints, suddenly overwhelming.
Satalino’s tunes range in tone from jangling folk pop to near country, think Waxahatchee but not as southern. She sings about Volvos station wagons, not pick-up trucks. A few, like “Daylight Savings Time,” feature wavery keyboard or maybe recorder melodies that shade them subtly into 1960s folk territory. Yet though the accompaniment can be flowery, the words are precise and workmanlike. Consider this, from “Daylight Savings Time”— “Today I woke up feeling rested/with an hour to spare/free time in my pocket/time that was not there yesterday/it’s on the front page/it’s the good news we never gave/one solitary hour feels like money to be spent.”
Though Little Green is a solo album, Satalino is by no means alone. Her partner in Outer Spaces, Chester Gwazda, is a big presence, playing bass and keyboards on most tracks, and guitar and drums on a couple.  Angie Boylan, who has toured with Sleater-Kinney and Maria Paternoster, picks up the rest of the drumming duties, while Dan Kassel adds cello. Nicholas Metz is especially effective on pedal steel, nudging cuts like “Outlaw” into rich twanging country. The arrangements never overwhelm. Satalino’s voice and stories remain the focus. But they do expand and enliven her songs, and you can hear a certain joy in the musicians’ ability to play together again after a period of separation.
Despite the troubles that surround it, this isn’t a sad album at all. It finds ways to celebrate the good parts of the last few years, as in “The Great Liberator.” Sings Satalino, “Walked down to the farm to watch the eagles catch the sun, it doesn’t seem like much but it’s a new brand of fun.”  Like Little Green.

Twilight- Youngest Shadow: Chapter Nine, Memories
(Alice X Reader X Jasper)
Tumblr media
[Eight] [Nine] [Ten]
“He’ll forgive you two.” Edward was at Bella’s side of the window, startling both of us. “Scoot over.” She listens, sliding over and I try to make as much room as possible. He takes over the wheel. “His face… I said the same words my mother used when she left him.” She slumped and slowly took my hand in hers. I stared out the window but still listened to them talk. “It was the only way he’d let you guys go.” Edward then floors it and it makes me wonder if this truck can even handle that. “Your father’s safe now Bella. The tracker is following us.”
It feels as if I can breathe lighter but at the same time, I’m scared of what’s going to happen. Then a dark figure jumps onto the bed of Bella’s truck. Bella screams as I let out a tiny noise, gripping her. I think her scream scared me more than what jumped onto the truck. “It’s alright, it’s just Emmett. Alice is in the car behind us.” He informs us, I look back to see Emmett standing there, he gives me a smile, waving and I do the same. Well, I tried to.
Arriving at their house Edward, Emmett, and Alice rush us to get inside but we all came to a harsh stop when the door opened and it is revealed to be Laurent. “He came to warn us. About James,” Carlisle announces and they back down from their attacking posture. “I’ve grown tired of his games. But he’s got unparalleled senses. Absolutely lethal. I’ve never seen anything like him in three hundred years. And the woman, Victoria will back him. Don’t underestimate her.” Laurent is warning them, trying to tell them this won’t be a normal fight even if he’s cornered or one against all of them.
He then turns to Edward. “I’m truly sorry for what’s been unleashed here.”
He walks off disappearing into the woods. We’re now in a garage with the Volvo, a red BMW, a black Mercedes Sedan, and an SUV. Rosalie was grabbing everything, cell phones, extra batteries, maps, portable GPS units, change of clothes, cans of gasoline and so many other things.
“I’ve had to fight our kind before. We’re hard to kill.” Jasper says while standing beside me. “But not impossible, We’ll tear him up,” Edward says as if to reassure us. “We'll rip him apart with our hands then burn the pieces.” Emmett joins in with blood lust and it almost made me want to laugh but of course, under the circumstance, I’ll look psychotic. “I don’t relish killing another creature. Even a sadistic one like James.” Carlisle deadpans.
“If he doesn’t get to one of us first,” Rosalie says and I glance over to Bella who had a horrified expression. “This is insane. You can’t put yourselves in danger like this for me.” She tells all of them and I sort of sit there for a moment not understanding why she only said it for her like I’m not a part of it as well. “Too late.” Rosalie rolls her eyes. “And it’s not just for you. [Name]’s in this too.” She sticks up for me but I notice Edward shoot her a look. He grabs two sets of keys, throwing one at Carlisle.
“I’ll run Bella and [Name] south, while you lead the tracker away.” He says but his foster dad disagrees. “No, Edward. The tracker thinks you won’t leave Bella. He’ll follow you. His main focus was how you reacted to him sniffing out Bella.” Again this feels off, it really feels like they’re only worry is Bella and if that’s the case why am I a part of this. Then Alice steps up.
“I’ll go with them. Jasper and I will drive them south. I’ll keep her safe Edward.”
Edward looks frustrated, Alice steps one closer. “Can you keep your thoughts to yourself?” Edward studies her, obviously torn. She nods and the two have an unspoken agreement. He surrenders the keys to her and then goes to Bella and Mine’s suitcase.
“Esme, Rosalie put these on so the tracker will pick up their scent, mainly Bella’s.” I was slumped once again, I felt Jasper tense but not saying anything. “Why should I? What is Bella to me? [Name] I understand she’s been in the family for years but Bella’s just a danger you’ve inflicted on us.” Rosalie was man, not understanding this at all if that wasn’t obvious. “Rosalie, Bella is with Edward she’s a part of this family now. And we protect the family.” Carlisle was strong with his words and the blonde listens, resistently picking up the clothes. He then hits a button and the large metal doors open.
Jasper and Alice lead me to the car, Edward and Bella have their own little moment together before we have to leave. I lean against the car. “You’re confused.” Jasper quietly says and I shrug. “I’m not understanding why I’m here if you guys are only really worried about Bella. The tracker doesn’t seem to want me.” I cross my arms, and they both stared at me. “What?” Alice raises an eyebrow. “James doesn’t want you dead. He wants to torture you.” Jasper informs me and my eyes widen, not expecting that. “He knows of your past lives he wants to hurt you enough to where you remember him.” He tells me and I think back to Esme and Carlisle’s conversation. “A near-death experience.” I think out loud, their eyes shoot up at me. “I uh I overheard Esme and Carlisle talking the night you invited me over to meet them. That’s what I was panicking about.” I sigh, they don’t say anything at first.
“I kind of came to comfort with it but I am scared nonetheless.” I laugh nervously, Alice was hard in thought as Jasper seemed saddened by what I said. “I think what really bothered me was you two wouldn’t warn me.” That was all I told them as I got into the car after I noticed Bella was coming towards the car.
Jasper has been driving as Alice was in the passenger seat. Bella had just stopped crying, her eyes were red and puffy. “Mom, it’s me again. You must have let your phone die. Anyway, [Name] and I are not in Forks anymore but we’re okay. I’ll explain everything when you call.” She hangs up the phone and looks out the window right as we pass the Olympic Peninsula sign.
Now in a hotel room, I sit on Jasper’s lap as the three of us stare at the t.v. screen. They haven’t brought up our conversation from before the drive and honestly, I’m a little grateful. I’m not in much of a mood to talk about any of it. They bought a ton of food too and I don’t think they realize with our lives on the line there isn’t much of an appetite to be had. “I wish he’d call.” Bella suddenly says as she enters the room we’re in. “You two should eat.” Alice ignored her words, her hand has been laid on my knee. I shrug, leaning back onto Jasper. Bella flops down to see. “They could get hurt, it’s not worth it.” She insists and I hum in agreement.
“Yes, it is.” Jasper disagrees and Bella is shocked as he doesn’t really engage with her often due to his thirst troubles. “Edward’s changed since he found you. And none of us want to look into his eyes for the next hundred years if he loses you.” He turns back to the t.v. his hand now rubbing the outside of my thigh. “It’s worth it.”
Then Alice goes blank, Jasper and I stand up immediately and he goes up to her. “What do you see?” He asks her and her face is full of deep worry. “The tracker, he just changed course.” She tells us and I glance over to see a pencil and a pad of paper. I grab it, handing it over to Jasper who gives it to Alice. “Where will it take him, Alice?”
“Mirrors, it’s a room full of mirrors.” She begins to draw at lightning speed, her eyes shut to help her remember perfectly. “How do the visions work? Edward said they weren’t always certain.” Bella questions, standing behind the two of them as I’m kind of off to the side.
“She sees the course people are on, while they’re on it. If they change their minds the visions change.” Jasper explains and Bella looks over at the drawing. “So, the course James is on now will lead him to a ballet studio?”
Alice snaps her head to look over at her. “You’ve been here?”
“No. I don’t know. We used to take ballet lessons as kids. The school had an arch like that.” She points to the room and now that I take a look I remember the room. “Was your school here, in Phoenix?” I nod but don’t speak up. “Yeah, around the corner from our house, but we haven’t been there in ten years.” Bella was confused about why he was going there. “Do you have any reason to go now?” He questions but it was mainly for her as he knows I would have no interest in going to a dance studio.
“No. Hell no. I hated that place.”
Alice and Jasper share a look right when a cell phone rings. Bella jumps but picks it up, I watch relief fall over her once she sees the caller's I.D. “Edward. Are you alright?”
“I’m coming to get you. We lost the tracker. The woman is still in the area. Rosalie and Esme are protecting your father.” We could hear him as he spoke through the phone. “This is my fault. You warned me, I didn’t think. I just-: He cuts her off. “Bella we’re in too deep. We can’t change how we feel.”No, we can’t. When will you get here?” She was antsy to see him again. “In a couple hours. Then you and I will go somewhere. Together. The others will keep hunting. Bella, I swear to you I’ll do whatever it takes to make you safe again.”

They hang up the phone and everything else moves quick as Alice and Jasper left us in the room to go check out.  Bella and I gather our things, then her phone rings again and I go over to her to look over her shoulder. It was mom. “Mom, I’m so glad you got my-” “Bella,  Where are you and your sister?” She was panicked and I hold onto my sister. “Calm down mom. Everything is fine, okay? I’ll explain every-” Then it sounds like the phone drops as we hear rustling in the background. “Mom? Are you there?”
“Nice house you have here. Not the best on the black but comfortable.” A voice we did not want to hear, my eyes widened and I hear Bella shiver. “I was prepared to wait for you two. But then mom came home after she received a very worried phone call from your dad. It all worked out quite well.” He tells us and I squeeze my eyes shut and lean my head down. “I must say, Forks High School doesn’t protect its students' privacy very well. It was just too easy for Victoria to find your previous address.” James was mocking us.
“Bella? [Name]?”
“Leave our mother out of this,” I say. “You’re protective of her. That’s nice. You can still save her. But you’ll need to get away from the other two lovers. Can you two do that?”
“I don’t think so.” Bella sighs. “If your mother's life depends on it?” And it looked like we didn’t have much of a choice here. “Where should we meet you?”
“The old ballet school around the corner. And I’ll know if yo bring anyone. Poor mommy would pay the price for that mistake.”We then hear him sniff the air. “She smells like you, Bella. Delicious.” He taunts but she hands up the phone, both of us now freaking out.
I watch her look around in the drawers searching for something then closes them, rushing to her purse and dumping everything that was in it out. Grabbing her pepper spray. “You have yours?” She asks and I lift mine up from my pocket, she gets all her stuff back into the purse, grabs it, and then we lock hands and run out of the room. Once we get to the lobby we scan for Jasper and Alice. I point outside where they’re under the Porte Cacher. We slip out the opposite door getting into a taxi, this older lady in the driver's seat. “8th and Palo Verde, please.”
Instead of a near-death experience, it’s just death with my sister.
Not the way I had thought we’d go.
At least we’re together in this life.
My next one will be alone, but I’ll find the love of my existence once again.
Getting to the dance school, we rush out of the taxi. It pulls away and it doesn’t feel like I’m about to be tortured just for living so many lives. It makes me reminisce about the feeling of me being here as a kid with Bella. She absolutely hated it, the kids making fun of her and me hitting a kid is what got us kicked out. I take a deep breath through my nose as Bella reaches for her spray as mine was already in my hand. I think back to Alice and Jasper knowing they probably just realized we are missing and my heart physically hurts having to go behind them. We walk closer and we hear our mom's voice. “Bella? Where are you and your sister?” We get through the doors that were already unlocked, the room full of mirrors that Alice had drawn out earlier.
“Bella? [Name]?” We search for where her voice is coming from and we land upon the door to a closet. Bella throws the door open. It was a t.v. screen and a video is playing of Bella and me at the ages 7 and 6. Little Bella looks up as I was hugging her. It was in this exact closet too. “Don’t you want to dance, baby?” Little Bella shakes her head as little me pushes away gently but I was visibly angry. “Everyone makes fun of me.” Bella cried out. “I’ll fight them all, Mom! I will!” Little me says and Rene laughs, giving the camera to someone else, she kneels down to both of us. “[Name], no violence.” Then she looks right at Bella. “But you’re a wonderful dancer.” She tries to encourage her. “Mom, I suck.” Then laughter emits from behind us, and we spin locating James in the mirrors.
“That’s my favorite part. Stubborn children weren’t you both?” Bella steps closer to him with rage but then has a feeling of relief shower through both of us as we realized he never had our mom captive.”She’s not here.” Bella mutters.
“Sorry, but you two really made it too easy.” He sighs, disappointed then he gets walks to us, pointing with a camera at us. “So to make things more entertaining, I’m going to make a little film of our time together. Borrowed this from your house, hope you guys don’t mind.” He turns it on. “And… Action!” Bella flings her purse at him, gripping my arm to make a run for it. It was no use as he was right behind us. “Excellent! An escape attempt!” He was excited about this and it made me sick. “It’ll break Edwards's little heart.” He smells her hair, touching her hair.
“Edward has nothing to do with this.” She angrily states as I slowly back up he ends up snatching my other wrist that wasn’t taken by Bella. “He will, His rage will ake for more interesting sport than his feeble attempt to protect you. And not only him but Alice and Jasper? They think I just want you to remember me, don’t they?” He laughs, having too much fun to notice Bella take out her pepper spray, spraying him. He only backs away for a brief moment but doesn’t let me go. She makes another run for it, he lifts me up over his shoulder and jumps right in front of her. I struggle against him, kicking my legs. He throws me into one of the main mirrors causing it to shatter over me. He does the same thing to Bella and she smashes into one of the mirrored columns. He captured it all on film too. “Beautiful, a very visual dynamic I chose my stage well.” He advances over to her as I try to sit myself up feeling every bone in my sides and back. “Still stubborn, aren’t you? Is that what makes you special because frankly, I don’t see it.” He inhales as if he’s already tasting her. He walks in my direction as Bella is slightly dazed and I push back further into the wall as if that will do anything.
“See I thought you were unkillable when I first met you. It was maybe your second or third life. Did you know that none of them last over 22 years? Crazy huh?” He rubs his lips together, remembering all the times he’s seen me. “This is probably your sixth life and I’ve got you two times already! Of course, your little lovers didn’t know that until Edward told them!” He laughs like an insane person… which he is. “What.. what are you going to do this time?” I whimper from the pain in my sides.
“Hmm, I could do this.” He raises his foot to stomp on my leg and I flinch, squeezing my eyes shut as I wait for the pain but instead of the pain sensation in my leg it’s on my shoulder. My eyes pop open and I scream in agony. “I want you to change for good. So when I do kill you for the last time, it will be the last time.” He laughs, picking me up and placing me right in the closet from before where the t.v. was.
I can still hear him speak but my shoulder was burning, I start breathing heavily, trying to get up. “Too bad he didn’t have the strength to turn you. Instead, he kept you as this fragile little human. It’s cruel really.” There’s a moment of silence and due to the door shut in front of me, I can’t see what’s going on. “Well done! You’ve succeeded in annoying me.” Seconds later I hear Bella scream and a crunch sound, and if I wasn’t already groaning in pain I would’ve gasped at the sound. “Tell Edward how much it hurts.” He tells her. “Tell him to avenge you.”
“No, Edward. Don’t!” She hisses, I feel the burning sensation start to grow further down my arm and to my chest. I couldn’t even speak if I wanted to. “Cut! The end!” I then hear a loud bang, and moments hit. “You’re alone because you’re faster than the others but not stronger,” James shouts, I hear another thump. I try not to focus on the burning, pulling out the pepper spray. I grunt, kicking at the door repeatedly. I hear a voice say something but nothing was clear enough anymore. Hearing loud movements and a body drop to the ground along with Bella’s voice clearly distressed, he did something to her, worse than the other thing.
I get a hole through the door and I hear multiple other people. “Her femoral artery has been severed. She’s losing too much blood.” It was Carlisle, I hear him. “It’s burning! My hand!” Bella cried out, grunting. I try to kick at the door even more, not being able to move my torso. The adrenaline in my body sort of soothed the excruciating pain in my shoulder. I felt like at any moment the pain could paralyze me as it grew larger and larger. “You have a choice to make either let the change happen-” “No!”
“It’s going to happen anyway. I’ve seen it”
Alice, that’s Alice. I try to shout out her name but it goes out as just a loud scream. But I got someone's attention as the door opens. “It’s [Name]!” Emmett yells, he bends down and I look over his shoulder to see fire. Jasper was keeping it going before he heard my name being called out. I hum out suffering. “He, hah, he got me.” I grip the pepper spray in my hand and now Emmett’s arm. “He got you?” His face was panicked and I grit my teeth. “My shoulder, my shoulder.” I tilt my head to the shoulder he bit me on and he pulls me out of the closet to put me on a flat surface in a bigger space. Jasper and Alice surrounded me, “Help her!” I scream out as the pain shot through my body. “No, we can help you too!” Alice tells me, she rips my shirt where the bite was being covered. I hear Carlisle say something about it killing her and I look over to Edward hovered over Bella.
“It reached her heart, Alice. It’s too late.” I listen to Jasper speak, I am still gripping onto Emmett’s arm but he hasn’t even tried to take it back. “It’s… it’s okay.” it calms down for a second and I stare up at Alice trying to reassure her but she shakes her head. “We have to try!” She exclaims. “No.. no!” I shout as it was in waves, my nails digging into what felt like glass but was still Emmett.
And like waves soon came back my memories that I have never seen before.
I see a desert and I’m with Jasper on two separate horses, then it cuts to me searching for Jasper. He’s gone. And I get shot in the middle of a field, left behind by what look like soldiers. Left to bleed out. Now I’m in a hospital wearing a hospital gown. In a different life. I go into a room to see Alice for the first time. I’m giving her something then it cuts to me out of the hospital and with a man… James! He attacked me while I had walked out of my car.
Now at a party, I’m talking to the Cullens, every single one of them as if I have known them my whole life. Partying with Rosalie and dancing beside Alice. But I don’t seem to be in love with Jasper or Alice as there’s another man by my side. A man I don’t recognize. There’s a ring on my finger and it looks like this is my bachelorette party or something. We go into a bathroom and I tell the girls something that makes them cheer for me. I don’t hear anything though. It just cuts to a memory of me in the hospital room and Rosalie is holding my baby. But I’m sleeping? I’m dead? How am I seeing this if I’m dead?
In my next life and I see extremely peppy, I’m wearing a bunch of colors but I’m only a child. I’m around the age of 8 and I’m in the forest with a woman who is holding my hand. Before it even goes far into this life it cuts to James once again attacking me and who I believe is my mother. The second time he’s killed me in one of my lives.
Then my fifth life, the one before this one, and it looks like the late 70s or real early 80s and I’m at a school dance with Alice, people making fun of us as they pass by but I seem happy, she seems happy. I also have a tube that goes onto my nose. I look down to see an oxygen tank. Later that night after the dance I died from an asthma attack.
And now this life. I don’t see any memories flash back to it. And my body shoots up awake, I go to gasp for air but it feels different. “You’re up.” A voice spoke up, I look around and it looks like a hotel. “What?”
“Lovebug, look at me.” Alice comes into my vision as Jasper stood right behind her.
“Did I die?” I glance around, sitting up against a wall. “No, not necessarily.” Alice frowns, “I changed? I’m one of you guys.” I state out loud and all they could do was nod.
4100 words bitches and I am fucking tired but the last chapter for this movie won't be as long I think. I don't know yet I still have to figure out some things for that. If you have any things you'd like to see or want to know for the story just comment and I'll try to reach back. I've been sleeping a lot lately and I do not know why. I'm going to work on the requests I was given tonight but I can tell anyone for sure when they will be out because even with sleeping I've been busy for no reason. I just already have most of the chapters for this story written out lol.

I haven't posted here because we got super busy and then we bought a car and I had instant regret and I haven't known how it was going to work out so I just haven't posted.
We've wanted to replace my Civic for a long time. And finally we did. With a 2020 volvo v60. I love volvos. I had a 2000 v40 that I ADORED and named PeeWee. My parents have had volvos for ages. I just feel a sense of brand loyalty to them.
But this car took premium fuel. It's AWD so if I had to replace one tire it would have to be all four. And our tiny townhouse has a tiny garage and I literally cried trying to park this v60 in it. It was beeping like mad and just barely fits. And the fuel efficiency is so much lower than my civic that I was just... I felt some regret.
Since it's carmax, there's a 30 day return window, which is great. But the civic is sold - so it's like, okay, we can return this volvo, but then what do we get? We tried a handful of things, and I am change-resistant and was like "this handles differently than my civic and it's weird to me" about EVERYTHING. It wasn't a super fun process.
In the end, we settled on a 2021 mazda3 hatchback. We drove a 2019 (same car as the 2021) and carmax is shipping the 2021 to us from Maryland. Hopefully it gets here by this weekend and we can return the volvo and by the mazda and be done with everything.
To be honest, I didn't LOVE the mazda either, but Ken likes it, and it's our first big joint purchase, and I know a lot of my resistance is just that it feels different than my civic, and I'll get used to how it feels after a couple weeks. The hatch makes it easier to get a bike inside than my civic with its trunk. That was a key motivator to get rid of the civic - every time I went biking I started the ride in a terrible mood because of what a nightmare it is to get a bike in and out of there.
So anyway, I'm a bit embarrassed that we bought a car and I changed my mind, and I'm annoyed that we could drive so many cars and I didn't feel like any of them was "the one," and I'm super annoyed that our garage is so small that it dramatically cuts our options down. But I'm trying to be less pissy and more accepting and to look on the bright side: in just a few days we'll be done with the car buying process, at least for a few years until Ken is ready to part with his truck.

7 Signs Your Truck Needs Immediate Professional Repair
Tumblr media
Every truck driver knows their rig is the backbone of their business. Ignoring problems puts schedules, cargo, and safety at risk. At JG Diesel Repairs and Towing, we believe recognizing early signs of trouble saves time, money, and stress. Here are seven warning signals that mean it’s time for immediate professional help.
1. Strange Noises Coming from the Engine
Engines are complex, especially in trucks like Freightliner or Peterbilt. Unusual knocking, grinding, or squealing sounds often point to worn-out components or internal damage. Contact our Mobile Truck Repair Elk City service for on-the-spot diagnostics.
2. Dashboard Warning Lights
Lights on your dashboard aren’t suggestions. A “check engine” or brake warning could mean a serious underlying issue. Ignoring these lights risks bigger problems. Our technicians at Truck Repair shop Elk City specialize in advanced diagnostics for brands like Volvo and Mack.
3. Fluid Leaks Underneath the Truck
Leaking oil, coolant, or transmission fluid creates hazards. Trucks need proper fluid levels for safe and efficient operation. Call our 24/7 Roadside Assistance Near me team when you spot puddles or drips.
4. Poor Brake Performance
A truck’s braking system must work flawlessly to handle heavy loads. Spongy pedals, grinding noises, or longer stopping distances demand professional attention. Our repair team handles air brake systems for heavy-duty brands like Kenworth.
5. Decreased Fuel Efficiency
A sudden drop in mileage often means engine trouble, clogged filters, or misaligned wheels. Regular inspections ensure trucks operate efficiently, saving money on fuel costs.
6. Vibrations or Pulling While Driving
Feeling the steering wheel vibrate or the truck pulling in one direction could indicate alignment or tire issues. Ignoring these signs risks uneven wear and dangerous driving conditions.
7. Exhaust Smoke or Odors
Excessive smoke or strange smells from the exhaust system are major red flags. These symptoms often signal emissions problems or failing components. Call for Diesel Engine Repair and Maintenance at JG Diesel Repairs immediately for diagnostics and repairs.
