Ejiro and Ochako are usually flying as extra scouting, with the upside of no cramped wings. But, if they are far too tired, Ejiro will ride on Mina's horse; and Ochako on Momo's, as they have the biggest horses.

Fleshing out an AU I have not gotten around to writing on Ao3 yet, so I can't spoil readers: Volentes Stellam.
//
(Very rough draft) Summary:
Volentes Stellam is a MHA au (like usual) based off a lot of stereotypical high fantasy tropes: long winded adventure, a prophecy, war, etc. But the fun thing? The main cast has absolutely no idea there even is a prophecy.
They don't know about the incoming demon war/attack until like, half way through their journey, and don't know about the prophecy until it's all over and done with. They just be chilling, riding horses and collecting friends most of the time.
The Main Cast (the traveling group, in collection order):
Izuku Midoriya, Tryiad, Age: ??? (Looks/acts 22, due to species maturity rate, definitely way older than 22 though)
Momo Yaoyorozu, Human, Age: 20
Denki Kaminari, Kitsune (2 tails), Age: 53 (Looks/Acts 21, due to slow maturity in species)
Katsuki Bakugou, Beastfolk (Wolf), Age: 23
Kyouka Jirou, Siren, Age: 27
Ochako Uraraka, Harpy, Age: 19 (Looks/Acts 31, due to species higher maturity rate)
Shouto Todoroki, Elemental, Age: 19
Mina Ashido, Oni, Age: 29
Eijro Kirishima, Dragon (Red, Rock), Age 126 (Looks/Acts 23, due to species much slower maturity rate)
Feel free to ask questions/ask for more information

Fleshing out the Volentes Stellam AU: Tryiad - The Species
//
Origin:
Tryiads are a species that are known as "The Original Mortals", as they were, in fact, the original mortals. To understand the background of that, well ull just have to wait till I flesh that part out. But for some basics, Tryiads were the gods first mortal creation. They created the first members of the mortal species, now known as the Midoriya Royal Family, to be in an image of all of the gods combined, which lead to the family being known as "Rulers of Everything, Masters of Nothing." As they were not nearly as finalized as the next, and much larger, wave of Tryiads.
Tryiads, the gods had decided, would each reflect one aspect of the world they had created, some may have far more for one type than others, and of course, some are far stronger than others. Tryiads most average build was a short but average framed human, long elf like ears, with horns of varying sizes going from front to back, wings, and the tail of an animal. There were Tryiads for every type of jewel, every weather pattern, ever piece of flora and fauna the gods created, and even more.
They, as the gods decided, were perfect. Temperaments that matched their bases, a love for nature and the divine, and in a constant state of peace and joy. However, there was something that came with being mortal that the gods had forgotten about, as the Tryiads were so long lived. These mortals, despite living tens of, if not hundreds, of thousands of years, still had to breed. And so they did.
And so, "The First Sin" was born, for you see Tryiads that did not conceive with or were part of the Midoriya Family, would never conceive true Tryiads, as they were made in the gods image, and the gods did not understand the need to want or have children, afterall, they had the Tryiads. "The First Sin", was born between a Mythril Tryiad and a Gold Tryiad, creating the first ever dragon.
Children of Tryiads:
As Tryiads cannot conceive true Tryiad children, they created new species by connecting Tryiads of the same or different Varities. However, all the children they had far shorter lifespans, and grew further from the Tryiads with every generation, luckily though, all species born from the Tryiads, or Tryiad descendents, would have Intelligence.
The list goes as follows (Single Types):
Agriculture Tryiad + Agriculture Tryiad = Humans
Jewel Tryiad + Jewel Tryiad = Dragons
Tree Tryiad + Tree Tryiad = Elves
Beast Tryiad + Beast Tryiad = Beast Folk
Water Tryiad + Water Tryiad = Sirens
Air Tryiad + Air Tryiad = Harpies
Mineral Tryiad + Mineral Tryiad = Dwarves
Fire Tryiad + Fire Tryiad = Demons
Flower Tryiad + Flower Tryiad = Nymphs
The list goes as follows (More than one type, all tryiads):
Flower + Wood = Sprites
Fire + Water = Elementals
Beast + Flower = Gnomes
Beast + Agriculture = Orcs
Beast + Jewels = Goblins
Wind + Agriculture = Angels
Tree + Agriculture = Halflings
Wind + Flower = Fairies
What happened to them:
Tryiads, The Midoriya Family reigned for hundreds of thousands of years. As the children of tryiads went off and made their own kingdoms, they built a massive city of Mythril and Marble hidden deep within the largest mountain range, not only on the continent, but the world.
They stayed there, quietly but surely, always ruling above every other species. But, unlike the tryiads, the other mortal species were not made in the Gods image. They were born from sin and bred and writhed in it like maggots. And so, they grew greedy. Grew greedy for the power the Tryiads had.
And so, despite the Tryiads being nigh-immortal, very few having died from old age, and all of which too powerful in magic written into their bones, to ever be harmed nor felled. The mortal species came up with a plan.
The few alchemists who could challenge a Tryaid (the weakest Tryiads of course, but they didn't need to know that), were set to make something. The plague that would hunt the Tryiads golden blood that signified them as gods creation, and would wipe them out. The Scarlet Death they called it, knowing it would kill a mortal upon release into their system, they only worried if it did the same to the Tryiads.
And it did. Well, not kill them, but wipe them out. The Scarlet death, slowly and then all at once, ripped across the Tryiads lands, turning them into statues, living and breathing, but unable to move or cast magic, encased in stone.
The Midoriya Family had sent their nurse maid fleeing with their new born son as soon as they first heard about the plague. The nurse maid managed to make it to an elf village, where they promised to hide and raise him until he was mature, before succumbing to exhaustion from running on foot for a week straight.
The gods were furious at the mortals who had deprived their creations, who they viewed as their children, from life, whilst not killing them. The refusal to treat the Tryiads in the normal sacrificial and honorable way of killing, slaying no more than what was needed and thanking the gods for the skills and opportunity for survival.
All holy magic was removed from the world, and all connection to the divine was shut off, leading the world to slowly forget about the gods for 300 years. Until the last remaining church, received a prophecy.
