A LOOK AT HIGH FASHION PUBLICATIONS BEFORE THE CURRENT DAY DEI NIGHTMARE.
NOTE:^ Seriously though, would a fashion article this blonde even be permitted in any current day fashion publication? I think we all know the answer to that question, unfortunately.

[“When I asked focus group participants again about body hair and their desires for women, Adam responded:
That’s what makes the woman different, her body, I don’t mind uh having hair in certain specific parts on her body um . . . in general I . . . like woman to be clean. Just in certain areas. But like I said, down in the genital, like it’s okay for me.
Hair, for Adam, Musiteli, and other participants, served as the visual representation of the differentiation between “men” and “women.” Further, Adam referred to a woman being hairless not only as “proper” but “cleanly,” as well.
Often, when I asked participants specifically about genital hair, the response was that they did not prefer hair due to cleanliness, hygiene, and other such myths surrounding body hair. The idea that hairlessness is cleanly is reflected in colloquial discourse (e.g., “clean shaven”). Ryan, an Indian American, cis-het man, explained to me his distaste for a “bush” or a large amount of hair genitally:
I just think like it's better to sometimes, maybe, fully shave it, like coordinate with your partner if you're going to do that, because then it could help but like, yeah, if like two people both have bushes then like you don't know what's going on. And, also, it's just like, cleaner. Like in terms of like keeping it clean. It's easier when you have less hair in those areas.
When I asked Liz, a cis-lesbian, Latina woman, whether she cares if a woman shaves her armpits and genitals or not, she similarly responded, “Yes (laughs). Yes definitely. It’s just . . . um . . . how should I call it? Hygiene. Hygiene.”
In Ryan, Liz, and Adam’s discourse, pubic hair is conceptualized as unclean, non-hygienic, and obtrusive. Such ideas, again, are not mere individual preference but are instead shaped by cultural and generational understandings of hair. Herzig highlights that “the normalization of smooth skin in dominant U.S. culture is not even a century old,” with such ideas arising during the same years as the Cold War with individuals in the United States describing “visible body hair on women as evidence of a filth, ‘foreign’ lack of hygiene.” Porn and the framing of sexually explicit material have also shaped cultural understandings of pubic hair. While pubic hair removal for women went out of vogue after the nineteenth century, it became popular once again in the 1980s, in part, due to pornographic depictions largely including hairless vulvas, and more recently, hairless bodies for men, as well. Cultural discourse surrounding pubic and body hair is, thus, shaped by racialized, gendered, and xenophobic understandings of the body and hair. The fact that these ideas are shared by immigrant participants/participants of color does not deny the racialized and xenophobic roots of such discourse, so much as it highlights the internalization of racism and xenophobia by immigrants and/or people of color, as an adaptive response to the racism of society.
As participants conceptualized hair as animal-like, masculine, and/or filthy, they also conceptualized of it as excess or surplus to the human (woman’s) body. Pubic hair shaped their idea of what it means to do womanhood and to be a woman. As such, participant discourse not only was shaped by racist, sexist, and xenophobic conceptualizations of hair that have proliferated in the United States but also cissexist concepts of manhood and womanhood as opposite, different, and biologically based. That which is “improper to manhood/womanhood within White schemas of a gender binary are unnatural, unclean, and undesirable.”]

In 2012, Tulsi Gabbard was seen as the future of the Democratic party. She gave a headline speech at the convention nominating Barack Obama for his second term. Pelosi praised her. Vogue deemed her the next “Democratic Party star.”
Then she told the truth. She exposed the party’s anti-democratic efforts in the 2016 primaries that denied a fair process in favor of coronating Hillary Clinton. She called out the entrenched foreign policy elite for its decades of endless war. And she spoke out against the weaponization of government against domestic political enemies.
I’ve seen Tulsi’s leadership up close: In the summer of 2019, I found myself working for Tulsi Gabbard’s presidential campaign. As a Republican, it was never part of my plan to get involved with a Democrat’s bid for president. But, like many, I was drawn to Tulsi’s realist, restraint-oriented approach to U.S. foreign policy, and I discovered that many of her principles resonated with the values I admired in Donald Trump’s view of America’s role in the world. I can say with confidence: Tulsi Gabbard is not only supremely qualified to serve as our nation’s eighth director of national Intelligence—she’s the best possible choice for the job.

In a press release, Jewish Voice for Peace noted that the stock price of arms manufacturing companies Lockheed Martin and Raytheon have “skyrocketed” in the past year of warfare. “As Gaza is bombed, Wall Street booms,” Emma Seligman, writer and director of the film “Bottoms,” said in a statement to Teen Vogue from the protest. “Right now, the Israeli military is dropping bombs on homes, schools, refugee camps, and hospitals in North Gaza. Meanwhile, the members of Congress who vote to send these weapons to Israel invest in these companies and get richer every day.”
Today has been a day of carnage. Footage of the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike on a hospital in central Gaza spread across social media, showing burning tents housing sleeping families in refuge, as well as one man burning alive, as reported by the Washington Post, which puts the reported death toll from the attack currently at 70. The majority of those injured were women and children. Meanwhile, the Guardian reported, another Israeli strike killed at least 18 in the town of Aitou in northern Lebanon.
...
“ACT UP’s first action took place on Wall Street to protest the lack of funding for AIDS care and medications. Today, a growing anti-war movement returns to this street to demand healthcare not warfare,” artist and ACT UP activist Gregg Bordowitz, who was at the 1989 protest and joined the JVP action today, said in a statement. “For those of us still alive today the continuity of struggle and commitment remain clear.”

GENRE: Romance | Fluff | Celebrity life
Chapter 02
Jeon Jungkook leaned against the bathroom counter, staring at his reflection. His jaw tightened as he splashed cold water on his face, hoping to shake off the nervous energy buzzing beneath his skin. Today wasn’t just another flight. Today, he was flying to the U.S. for the American Music Awards, where he was nominated for Best Male Solo Artist and Best Male Solo Album. But it wasn’t just the AMAs on his schedule. His trip was packed with photoshoots, interviews, and other events that would keep him in the States for weeks.
He towel-dried his face, pulled on his black leather jacket, and grabbed his duffel bag. His manager, Hyunwoo, was already waiting by the door of his apartment, glancing at his phone.
“Ready?” Hyunwoo asked, briefly looking up.
“Yep,” Jungkook muttered, slipping on his sunglasses to hide the slight exhaustion lingering in his eyes.
The energy at Incheon International Airport was electric. Fans crowded every corner, their signs and cameras ready, chanting his name like a rhythmic drumbeat. Security had already formed a perimeter, but it didn’t stop the overwhelming noise from seeping in.
“Brace yourself,” Hyunwoo warned with a smirk, glancing at Jungkook, who was pulling his cap lower.
“I’ve done this a million times,” Jungkook replied with small chuckled, though his tightening grip on his duffel bag betrayed his nerves.
The van door slid open, and the flashes began. Jungkook stepped out with practiced ease, offering a polite wave to the fans. His face remained calm, but inside, he felt the weight of countless eyes on him. He moved swiftly, security guiding him through the chaos and into the private lounge.
Once aboard the private jet, Jungkook finally exhaled, sinking into one of the plush leather seats. Hyunwoo settled in beside him, pulling out a thick folder of schedules and notes.
"You’ve got a packed schedule once we land,” Hyunwoo started, flipping through pages. “Here’s how tomorrow looks. Rehearsals for the AMAs at 2p.m., followed by an outfit fitting for the award show. After that, there’s a meeting with Calvin Klein at 4p.m., an interview with Billboard in the afternoon, and then a dinner meeting with some producers in the evening.”
Jungkook nodded absently, his gaze fixed out the window as the plane ascended.
“Oh, one more thing,” Hyunwoo continued. “The Calvin Klein team mentioned something interesting. You’ll be paired with Aria Jeong for the upcoming photoshoot.”
Jungkook froze, his bottle of water halfway to his lips. “What?”
“Yeah, apparently, they’re looking for a concept that emphasizes chemistry and elegance. Pairing the two of you made sense to them,” Hyunwoo said, flipping the page like it was no big deal.
Jungkook’s mind raced. He bites his lip rings. Aria? The woman he’d admired from afar for years? He’d never even met her in person, and now they were expected to pose together, creating chemistry on camera? He tried to mask his shock, but a flicker of excitement betrayed him.
Hyunwoo glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. “You good?”
Jungkook cleared his throat and shrugged, attempting to play it cool. “Yeah. Just wasn’t expecting that.”
“Thought you’d be excited,” Hyunwoo teased, clearly noticing more than Jungkook wanted him to.
“Shut up,” Jungkook muttered, adjusting his cap lower over his face to hide the faint smile tugging at his lips.
“Alright,” Hyunwoo smirked knowingly. “Anyway, for tomorrow you’ve got interviews with Rolling Stone in the morning, a photoshoot with Vogue in the afternoon, and then—finally—a free evening. So you’ll have a chance to unwind after all the chaos and get ready mentally and physically for the AMA's on the day after tomorrow.”
Jungkook nodded, "Alright. Roger that." his thoughts already drifting to the Calvin Klein meeting and what it would be like to meet Aria face-to-face. Would she be as captivating in person as she was in every photo and video he’d ever seen? Would she even notice him, or would he just be another name on her long list of collaborators?
Aria Jeong. The name alone stirred something inside him, a quiet admiration he’d nurtured from afar for years. He’d never met her, never even seen her in real life, but her presence was impossible to ignore. She had a way of commanding attention, effortlessly captivating people with her grace and confidence.
It had started years ago, when a fashion magazine featuring her caught his eye during a flight. He’d skimmed the article out of boredom, but something about her photo stuck with him. From that moment, he began to notice her everywhere—runways, magazine covers, interviews. She was magnetic, and Jungkook couldn’t help but admire her success and presence.
But that admiration stayed hidden, tucked away behind screens and pages. He didn’t know her, and their worlds had never collided. Yet, the thought of seeing her in person sent a jolt of nerves through him that he couldn’t ignore.
He leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes to hide the storm brewing inside. It was going to be a long flight—and an even longer few days in the U.S.
ARIA
The sleek black SUV glided through the streets of Los Angeles, the city’s buzz a constant backdrop to Aria’s day. It was few days after the day she found out that she wilk be one of the announcers for AMA's which will happen the day after tomorrow. That's right, one more day left. Now they're on their way for Aria's final fittings for her upcoming AMA's event. For the day, she's wearing blue crop top shirt, paired it with grey loose pants with her hair down and she wears a dark blue LA cap. She sat in the backseat, scrolling mindlessly through her Twitter feed while the faint hum of the car engine provided a soothing rhythm. Beside her, her manager, Claire, glanced up from her tablet, tapping away at emails.
“Excited for the AMAs?” Claire asked, breaking the silence.
Aria looked up briefly, flashing a small smile. “Yeah, of course I am. It’s still sinking in that I’ll be on stage announcing one of the awards.”
“Well, you’ve earned it. They wanted someone with class and presence, and that’s all you,” Claire said confidently.
Aria chuckled softly, her eyes dropping back to her phone. “Let’s just hope I don’t trip on stage.”
“You’ll be fine,” Claire assured her, her tone warm. “Let me update the schedule here for you. After the fittngs you will have a rehearsal for AMA's at 2p.m. After that you'll have a little podcast session with Jay Shetty. And... Yeah, I thinks that's all. We go light and easy for today. You will have your free time after the podcast session is settled. You should take a rest, you deserve it."
Aria said excitedly, "Okay great! Interesting." As she scrolled, a new post caught her attention. Her breath hitched as she stared at a photo of Jungkook stepping out of a car at LAX, surrounded by fans and paparazzi.
“Jeon Jungkook has arrived in Los Angeles for the AMAs,” the caption read, accompanied by a series of airport photos.
Her stomach flipped. She freaked out as her grip tightening on her phone. She had followed Jungkook’s career from a distance for years, admiring his talent, stage presence, and everything about him. But she had never met him, never been in the same room as him. And now, knowing they were in the same city for the same event made her pulse race in a way she couldn’t explain.
“Aria?” Claire's voice pulled her back to reality. “You okay? You look like you just saw a ghost.”
Realizing her expression had betrayed her, Aria quickly locked her phone and shook her head. “Oh, it’s nothing. Just… saw something weird online.”
Claire raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced but decided not to press. “Alright, if you say so.”
Aria turned to look out the window, willing herself to calm down. Get it together, Aria. You’re a professional. He’s just another celebrity.
As the car slowed to a stop at a red light, Claire glanced at her phone and cleared her throat. “By the way, I got an update from Calvin Klein earlier.”
Aria turned her head slightly, trying to appear casual. “What’s up?”
“Well,” Claire started, “they’ve finalized the concept for the campaign photoshoot. And they’ve confirmed your partner for it.”
“Partner?” Aria repeated, furrowing her brow.
“Yes, they decided to pair you with someone to elevate the campaign’s chemistry and dynamic.” Claire looked up, her expression teasing. “It’s Jungkook.”
Aria froze, her breath catching in her throat. “Wait, what?”
Claire grinned, clearly amused by her reaction. “You heard me. Jeon Jungkook. The Calvin Klein team thinks the two of you would be perfect together for this campaign. They say it’s going to be a game-changer.”
Aria felt her heart pounding so loudly she was sure Claire could hear it. “Why wasn’t I know about this earlier?” she managed to say, her voice higher-pitched than usual.
“Apparently, it was a last-minute decision,” Claire replied. “They only finalized it this morning.”
Aria stared at her manager, feeling like the ground had been pulled out from under her. She had been perfectly content admiring Jungkook from a safe distance, but now she would be working directly with him. It was both exhilarating and utterly terrifying.
Claire tilted her head, studying Aria’s expression. “You’re freaking out. Why are you freaking out?”
Aria quickly shook her head, forcing a laugh. “I’m not freaking out. It’s just… unexpected, that’s all.”
Claire didn’t look entirely convinced but shrugged. “Well, better get used to the idea. The photoshoot is happening the day after the AMAs. You two are going to make headlines, that’s for sure.”
Aria sank back into her seat, her mind racing. She wasn’t sure how she was going to pull this off without making a fool of herself.
The black SUV pulled up in front of the sleek, glass building that housed one of the most prestigious designers in Los Angeles. Aria’s heart raced again, this time with a mixture of anticipation and nerves as she stepped out of the car. The staff, who had been waiting outside, immediately greeted her with warm smiles.
“Miss Aria, welcome!” One of the assistants greeted her as she walked up the stairs. “We’re so happy to have you again.”
Aria returned the smile, her excitement now building as she followed the assistant into the building. Claire walked closely beside her, and the two exchanged quiet words as they moved toward the fitting room.
The fitting space was spacious, with a wall lined with mirrors reflecting the soft, ambient light. It had an air of elegance, a place where dreams came to life.
Inside, three staff members stood waiting: a head stylist, a seamstress, and a tailor. They greeted Aria with a mix of excitement and professionalism.
“Aria, welcome! We’ve been eagerly awaiting your fitting,” the stylist said with a bright smile. She gestured to the dress draped on the nearby mannequin. “We have the final version of the gown here, and I think you’re going to love it.”
"Can't wait to see it!" Aria's breath caught in her throat as she stepped closer to the dress. It was stunning—simple yet mesmerizing. The sleeveless, backless black dress hugged her body like a second skin, with a glittering bodice decorated with small, delicate gold, black and silver diamonds. The sparkling fabric shimmered as it caught the light, creating a subtle but striking effect.
The thigh area to the legs area of the dress featured a sheer, see-through fabric that gave a bold yet elegant contrast to the rest of the gown. Small diamonds and fur embellishments were carefully placed along the edges, partially covering the exposed skin while still allowing the leg to peek through. The slit on the left side allowed her to move freely, but the fabric’s delicate nature kept it tasteful and elegant, perfectly blending sensuality with grace.
“The slit on the left side of the dress will allow you to move comfortably while still looking absolutely breathtaking,” the head stylist explained, making a small adjustment to the fabric. “We’ve incorporated the sheer fabric to add an element of boldness while maintaining the elegance of the overall design. You’ll be stunning, but still exude that class you always bring.”
Aria smiled softly, her fingers tracing the glittering diamonds on the bodice as she took in the entire design. “It’s exactly what I wanted—elegant, but with that touch of sexiness. I love it.”
“Let’s get you in it then,” the stylist said, motioning to the changing area.
As Aria stepped into the dressing room, Claire whispered, “You’re going to turn heads tonight, trust me.”
Minutes later, Aria emerged from the changing area, her heart skipping a beat as she took in her reflection. The dress fit like a glove, accentuating her curves while maintaining an air of effortless sophistication. The glittering bodice, sparkling with the diamonds, shimmered with every movement, and the sheer thigh area gave a glimpse of her skin—tasteful, but undeniably seductive. The fur trim around the hem and the slit at her left leg added a dramatic flair, ensuring that she would be the center of attention.
The seamstress and tailor immediately began adjusting the fit, ensuring everything was just right. “How does it feel?” the seamstress asked, gently adjusting the back of the dress.
“It’s surprisingly comfortable,” Aria replied, stepping lightly to test the dress’s movement. “It’s form-fitting, but it still feels like I can move.”
The stylist smiled as she checked the fit of the bodice. “It’s designed to highlight your best features while still being comfortable enough for you to enjoy the evening. The sheer fabric with the fur and diamonds should give you that perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated.”
“Everything looks perfect,” the tailor added, giving a nod of approval as he checked the hemline. “The slit gives just the right amount of movement, and the diamonds catch the light beautifully.”
Aria took a few more steps, testing how the fabric flowed as she walked. “It feels amazing,” she said, her confidence building with each adjustment. “It’s everything I wanted—elegant, but with a bold edge.”
The stylist clapped her hands in delight. “I’m glad you love it. This is your dress for the night. You’ll look absolutely stunning on the red carpet.”
Aria’s smile grew wider as she gave herself one last glance in the mirror. Everything felt perfect—except for the nagging feeling in her stomach. The upcoming events with Jungkook. She had admired him from afar for years, but now, they were going to share a professional moment. She couldn’t help but feel a flutter of nerves mixed with excitement.
Claire turned to Aria with a slight frown, her tone laced with urgency. “Alright, we need to wrap this up. You’re running late for your rehearsal at the AMA’s.”
Aria nodded quickly, giving one last look at her stunning dress before slipping into her shoes. She could feel the weight of the night ahead pressing on her, but for now, there was no time to dwell on nerves. It was showtime.
The car ride to the venue was quick, but as they neared the iconic building, Aria’s excitement grew. The venue was massive, a modern architectural marvel with towering glass windows reflecting the city’s lights.
Aria’s heart raced as the car pulled up to the backstage entrance, and the staff swiftly ushered her inside. She walked through a series of corridors, her heels clicking against the polished floor, until they reached her dressing room.
The space was luxurious yet simple, a private retreat where Aria could prepare herself for the evening. Her manager, Claire, had already settled in, sitting at a small table, organizing paperwork and running through her schedule.
“I’ll be back in a few, I have to check on a few things,” Claire said before stepping out of the room, leaving Aria alone for a brief moment.
Alone, Aria settled into the plush chair, reaching for her lunch that had been waiting for her—mac and cheese with a side of chocolate brownies and an ice-cold lemon tea. She smiled at the comfort of the meal, grateful for the little moments of peace before everything got hectic.
Just then, the unmistakable sound of a song filled the air. Aria paused mid-bite, recognizing the melody that seemed to echo through the walls. It was “Standing Next to You” by Jungkook, the one that had captivated her for so long. She felt her pulse quicken, but she masked her surprise with a calm expression.
Her thoughts raced—Jungkook, of course, was here for the AMA’s too. But hearing his music play just outside her dressing room made everything feel a little too real, a little too close, yet still so distant. Their worlds had always seemed separate, a dream that never quite materialized into reality, but hearing his voice like this made her feel the overwhelming distance that still existed between them.
Minutes passed, and it was finally her turn to rehearse. Someone's knocking on her dressing room's door. The script coordinator, a calm and professional-looking man in his late 30s, entered the room, holding a folded script. “Miss Aria,” he greeted her, offering her the paper. “Here’s your draft. I’ll run through your lines with you before you head out.”
Aria nodded, folding her napkin as she set her food aside. She took the script and glanced over the contents.
“You’ll be announcing two solo awards tonight,” the coordinator explained as he pointed to the highlighted portions of the script. “The first is ‘Best Male Solo Artist,’ followed by ‘Best Male Solo Album.’ You’ll be walking from here to the stage, and you’ll stand right here,” he gestured to a marked spot on the floor plan. “When you announce the winners, look directly into camera two. Your cue will be when the lights hit this spot. We'll get the clearer view on the stage later.”
“Got it,” she said, giving a nod as she mentally rehearsed the lines.
With a deep breath, Aria straightened her back and prepared herself for the rehearsal, ready to face the stage—and whatever else the night would bring.
As Aria took a step back from the restroom door, she didn’t expect to collide with someone. But, in the blink of an eye, she found herself bumping into a figure. Definitely a guy.
“Ah!” Aria gasped as she stumbled a bit, trying to steady herself.
The guy equally surprised, immediately reached out to her. “Whoa, sorry!” he said quickly, his hands gently helping her regain her balance. “Didn’t see you there.”
No. Way.
It's Jeon Jungkook.
She looked up at him, slightly flustered. Their eyes met for a brief second, but this time, Aria noticed how he seemed to linger just a little longer than necessary. She quickly looked away, feeling her cheeks warm up. "No, no. It's fine. Totally fine."
Jungkook smiled, his lips curling slightly, but his gaze remained focused on her. “Aria, right? Didn't expect to see you here.” His voice had a playful edge to it, but there was something different in his eyes—an almost unspoken curiosity.
Aria, trying to keep the conversation light, smiled back. “It’s definitely a coincidence,” she said, chuckling nervously. “But, I'm one of the announcers for the AMA's?” She paused, then added, “Though, I never expected a run-in with you today. Maybe a fate.”
Jungkook’s grin widened, and he took a slight step closer, not breaking eye contact. “Really? I never knew that you're gonna be one of them.” His voice was soft, but the excitement in it was unmistakable.
Aria chuckled, trying to mask the warmth spreading across her face. “Yeah, seems like it. A bit surreal, actually.”
He leaned in slightly, his eyes never leaving hers. “You know, I’m not complaining about these… surprises.” His voice dropped a little, as if he was sharing a secret. “Not at all.”
Aria shifted, feeling her heart race slightly at how close they were, but she cleared her throat, trying to steer the conversation back to safer ground. “So, I heard we’ll be working together soon, huh? For the Calvin Klein photoshoot?”
Jungkook nodded, the playful glint in his eyes returning. “Yeah, I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve seen some of your work. Pretty impressive, if I do say so myself.” He gave her a slow, teasing smile. “Though, I imagine it’s even better in person.”
Aria laughed, a bit flustered. “Well, I hope so,” she replied with a grin. “Thank you, Jungkook. That’s sweet of you.”
He gave a light chuckle, but there was a distinct warmth in his gaze. “Just speaking the truth,” he said softly. “I think we’ll make a good partner.”
She nodded, trying to keep her composure. “Of course we will.” She bit her lip nervously. Jungkook added, “But, uh, it’d be nice if we stayed in touch, especially with the shoot coming up…”
Jungkook’s expression softened further, his smile turning into something a little more genuine. “Can we like... exchange numbers.” He pulled out his phone, but as she glanced down, she remembered she’d left her phone in the dressing room.
“Oh, I left my phone in the dressing room,” Aria said, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Jungkook’s eyes twinkled as he gave a small nod. “No worries. Just add your number in my phone, and I’ll text you later, okay?” His voice was soft, but there was a quiet excitement in it as he spoke, like he was genuinely looking forward to their next conversation.
he reach his phone from his pocket and handed it to Aira. She gladly take it and add her phone number in his contact. She save it as "Aria Jeong" just to keep it professional.
Aria felt her heart skip a beat. “Alright, here it is,” she said, giving his phone back to him.
“I’m sure we’ll have a lot to talk about, Aria Jeong,” he said, his eyes twinkling.
He stepped back a little, but his gaze lingered just a fraction too long. “Take care of yourself, alright? Can’t wait to see you again soon.”
Aria nodded, a smile tugging at her lips. “You too.” She watched him walk off, his steps quick but graceful.
Aria couldn’t help but feel the rush of the unexpected encounter still lingering in the air. She hadn’t expected to bump into him—not literally or figuratively—but now, she couldn’t shake the feeling that this was just the beginning.

Jimin with Vogue in New York City
Aside from the performances & the MMM interview, another of my favorite type of material from Jimin's promotions for both albums was the behind the scenes video footage.
The above video is from Vogue Magazine's official channel. Jimin was enjoying the day then practicing with the U.S. dancers for his Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show performance. Enjoy! Or enjoy it again, if you've seen it already.

Havana Syndrome: The secret weapons were Trump’s
By Rosa Miriam Elizalde
Seven years have passed since the great hoax known as the “Havana syndrome," according to which U.S. diplomats suffered alleged acoustic attacks in Cuba that compromised their health. One of the speculations in vogue was that the “painful sounds” selectively perceived by the officials were due to attacks with microwave weapons.
Over time, the hoax faded for lack of scientific evidence – there was no way to explain how a sound attacks some individuals and not others in the same room – but now we learn that the U.S. government has been experimenting with high-power microwave (HPM) systems to stop vehicles or ships by jamming their electronic systems.
