👉 "My first photo shoot with Queen in Germany they were recording for 'Hot Space' 1982. I was told I might get 10 minutes with them if I’m lucky. The session lasted 3 hours. Roger even got me put my camera down and do some percussion in the recording studio. To this day I like to think I’m some where on that Album

PIC(S) INFO: Mega spotlight on THE BEATLES photoshoot for their fourth studio album, "Beatles For Sale," taken in Hyde Park, London, UK, on October 24th, 1964. 📸: Robert Freeman.

ROBERT FREEMAN: (photographer): "There was a brief meeting with Brian and THE BEATLES. We decided to take a picture in colour against the background of the setting sun. Again, they wore black: black scarves, jackets and coats. And the cold weather matched this colour of clothing. 

It is very fortunate that we managed to capture the setting sun (black and yellow are a wonderful combination). After an hour and a half, the picture was ready. This is Hyde Park. On the back of the cover is a photo: the Beatles in the same black clothes against a background of yellow autumn leaves. It's a shame this shot wasn't used for the American version of the album."  

PAUL: "The photoshoot was successful – with pictures by Robert Freeman. They came very easily. The shooting lasted only a couple of hours, as a result, we had some suitable photos. We were filming in Hyde Park, near the Albert Memorial. I was impressed by George's hairstyle: he managed to style his hair so that the top of his head looked pointed."
