A little wall art I made this morning. My gold embroidery is regretted but I think it's too late to undo.
I like basing my aesthetic off of my visual focal seizures.

no spoilers, but for ffxiv's dawntrail, fellow photosensitive lovelies please be wary, use flux and other screen brightness minimizers, and/or let SE know that the 100 trial is absolutely terrible for us

literally the only good thing i can say about hellava bust is that they are introducing the seven deadly sins in the same order as dantes divine comedy, like following the order of the 9 layers of hell from shallowest to deepest. only smart reference in the whole show

Okay, I've got a bit of a big ask here.
Is anyone available to help check a graphic image for potential eyestrain/seizures/migraine issues? I know a lot of people helped to make the updated Disability Pride flag visually safe, and I want to make sure this particular graphic is also visually safe, since it's for the accessibility portion of a particular website. The previous version of the graphic was inspired by the old, visually unsafe Disability Pride flag; to their credit, the designer went to work right away on a redesign when I alerted them to the potential dangers, but I don't know enough to tell whether the new design is safe or not.
I've got messages on if anyone is available to help; I'd prefer not to link this image around a whole lot if I can help it, to avoid causing unnecessary harm.
@capricorn-0mnikorn, @vaspider, @alexseanchai, would you be available to help spread the word?
Thanks in advance!

Okay, I cannot keep silent any further, I need to say my piece. Musical Tangents is one of the greatest, if not the best, musical mashup albums I have ever heard. The 10-track listing covers so much in terms of music and general noise sources, and oh my god, it is fantastic. The first third basically revolves more on combining rap songs/beats with various other songs/beats, the next four going into general popular music with some old and new, before the final third just braces into the full memeness of it all and goes head first into really establishing why the album is called Musical Tangents. I’ve heard it describes as ADHD: The Album, and you can either like it all or some of it or even like just one thing, but it is so worth checking out because it is done so smoothly and naturally with surprise appearances out of nowhere done FANTASTICALLY. I’ve had it stuck in my head for so long and I just need to say that I love it.
Intense color/screen flash warnings for watching the full album that has backgrounds:
Track 2 at 2:20-2:25
Track 3 at 4:50-4:52 and 6:06-6:16
Track 6 at 12:31, 12:41, and 13:26
Track 8 at 15:56-15:58, 17:32-17:35, and 17:48
The playlist for the album does not have these backgrounds, but both are different experiences, and I recommend both if you want to seek both out.

@a-vampire replied to your post “Is this text hard to read? I wouldn't want a whole...”:
I don't mind the way the actual text looks, but the striped background makes it harder to look at
Ah, I've been waiting for this comment. One of those "maybe if I hold very still and don't look directly at it, it will magically be easier on the eyes". I'll add that to the "make it easier to look at" list !!

i had such a good time watching across the spiderverse & the animation was once again stunning but i have to say. no spoilers in particular. if you find yourself drawing a mural of a fucking cop in uniform that says "rest in power" you should maybe like. stop doing that & reimagine your project.
also the sound mixing sucked

Hhh I may be having hallucinations. But like I'm definitely in denial. I can't have another disorder, I already have way too many. I'm sure it's just my stress 👀

If the person is known to have long tronic clonic seizures, call an ambulance.
"Low blood pressure" should be "Low blood sugar" on kyuofcosmic's reply.

lil leo rant that hasn't been proof read for reasons included below
it's really frustrating. trying to explain to someone. how our language comprehension just Turns Off when we're tired or, sometimes, just randomly. like, it's a legit disability we have. like
yes i know i sound eloquent when i talk. yes i know we can still talk at you, and type out words, and communicate clearly. yes we can still see art, and comprehend very basic visual icon-graphic based instructions.
but also no we can't read a paragraph, or read a sentence that's more than one line long. no i can't correct whatever we've typed. no i don't understand when you give me long carry on sentences, or more than one semi-complex idea at a time verbally.
yes i know we're communicating clearly, and that my eyes are in my head, and i can see what you're pointing at and that they're words.
no i can't understand them right now.
half the time, i'm more frustrated with me than anyone else is about this. and the other half of the time no one believes me when i say i can't understand them right now, because i'm able to tell them that clearly.
it is our receptive language that suffers the most from our disability. that means i can't take in information right now, and when i can it's often more delayed registering than it appears.
i just. gods. it's so frustrating. i can type this out, but i can't check what we've written. we can't hold a conversation like this, because we're not processing what's being said/written.
we need to rest to help to fix this, but we're too frustrated to sleep, and too tired to distract ourselves, and it's just >:C
