this is. about the dialogue between Bonifacio and Rizal, the impact that one had on the other, the way Rizal's novels could spark desire for freedom like a wildfire that will not be tamed. there's an element of 'I would have gone through life half asleep if I never met you,' to it. the linked tragedies, the characters from the novels themselves seem to echo forward onto Bonifacio and Rizal in their own way as well.

sorry i’m gonna keep yapping. i think batman and superman are about tied for how iconic they are in the general public but i think batman is a rare case of how everyone knows his name & his backstory & his entire deal. with superman the average person will probably know hes an alien raised by humans, they know his powers, and they know his weakness is kryptonite. but (mostly due to how vague the explosion of krypton usually is) i don’t think his backstory is as well known, and clark kent -> superman is less common knowledge than bruce wayne -> batman (still pretty common just not as common i don’t think). and lex is really the only villain of his that could be considered well known and even then i don’t think anything about him is common knowledge. BATMAN on the other hand. everyone knows his backstory, everyone knows his vibes. his weapons aren’t as iconic as superman’s powers but are still fairly well known. but everyone knows the story of his parents getting shot in front of him so he becomes a vigilante, and his Code against killing is so well known (even though superman has the same morals i think it’s more associated with batman). the batcave. the batmobile. robin. his rogues gallery. i just think in terms of how well known they are in the general public that batman has a lot more about him that i would consider somewhat common knowledge

You know the whole “Calem rushing into things” isn’t just a pokemon masters characterization, pokemas Calem is based on rival Calem making Serena the canon protagonist; and you can legitimately see that rival Calem has a quicker walk cycle than the rest of the cast

It’s most noticeable in the cutscene where you exit the forest

One of the weirder Useless Things I can do is arbitrarily turn off my speciary recognition of the human hand as a visual concept. When I do, hands look incredibly creepy and unnatural and, most of all, alien. Like something from another world, or the bottom of the ocean. The whole arm, really: a gangly, crooked limb limb that ends in five short, nearly hairless nubs.

Not at all like the graceful, curving, and universally familiar majesty of the 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88.

And yet hands are the primary interface between the Two Worlds; in the aggregate (if not individually) they are the most important part of the human body other than the brain. (And, within the brain, the use of the hands is one of the single largest allocations of capacity.) And while you can theoretically live without your hands or without the use of them (a less tenuous scenario in modern times), or even be born without them, and can eventually develop great purchase on the physical world through other bodily interfaces chiefly including the feet and voice, nevertheless no other part on the human body is as physically multifunctional across applications and domains.

We live in a world built by hands, and are surrounded by things designed to be "handled." As much as by language or the form factors of our bodies, our whole civilization is shaped by the capabilities, limitations, and particularities of our hands.

Okay I will go from worst to best

5. I think metal sonic would have the most difficulty since he would be programed to follow vocal or typed out instructions as opposed to visual instructions

4. Silver probably could if he had someone else helping at first but if he was left to his own devices from the beginning he wouldn't be able to do it

3. Sonic can put them together but it requires a lot of patience that he doesn't always have.

2. Shadow could pretty easily if he had to but he doesn't because he doesn't need furniture

1. Amy rose has at least 2 homes if I remember correctly. She has built multiple pieces of ikea furniture
