Amit Mishra Opens Up About the Transformation of Virat Kohli and His Bond with Rohit Sharma
Veteran spinner Amit Mishra recently shared his thoughts on the contrasting personalities of India’s cricket captains, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. In an engaging conversation on YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra’s show 'Unplugged', Mishra highlighted how fame and success have changed Virat Kohli over the years.
Mishra started by emphasizing his respect for Kohli as a cricketer, but he noted that their personal relationship has evolved significantly. “I have seen Virat change a lot. We had almost stopped talking. When you get fame and power, some people think that others are reaching out to them only for a purpose,” Mishra revealed. This change has affected their camaraderie, which was once quite strong.
Reflecting on his bond with Rohit Sharma, Mishra had nothing but praise for the Indian skipper. “As a cricketer, I respect him a lot, but I don’t share the same equation with him as I used to. Why does Virat have less friends? His and Rohit’s natures are different. I’ll tell you the best thing about Rohit. When I met him the first day and when I meet him today, he is the same person. So will you relate to him more or with someone who changes according to situation?” Mishra said.
Mishra reminisced about his early days with Rohit, highlighting their consistent rapport. “I haven’t been part of the Indian team in years. Still when I meet Rohit during the IPL or any other event, he is always joking with me. I don’t need to think what he will think. We joke with each other. He is at the top but we still have maintained that rapport,” he added.
Drawing a stark contrast, Mishra talked about Kohli’s transformation from his early days. “I have known Cheeku since the time he was 14, when he used to eat samosas, when he needed pizza every night. But there is a huge difference in the Cheeku I knew and Virat Kohli, the captain,” he shared, painting a picture of how success has impacted Kohli’s personality.
Mishra also addressed the infamous clash between then LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli during a match between LSG and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He mentioned how Gambhir took the initiative to reconcile with Kohli later in 2024. “I saw a good thing about Gautam. Virat Kohli didn’t go towards him, Gautam went towards him. He went and asked ‘How are you, how’s your family.’ So it was Gautam who ended the feud and not Kohli. So Gautam showed his big heart at that time. It should have been Kohli who should have gone and ended the feud. He should have gone and said ‘Gauti bhai, let’s end this,’” Mishra remarked.
Amit Mishra's candid insights provide a unique perspective on the evolving dynamics within the Indian cricket team, highlighting the profound impact of success and fame on personal relationships.

Team India captain Rohit Sharma finally reviews why he and Virat Kohli are not playing in T20Is
The two superstars of the Indian Cricket Team, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, have not played a single T20 international for the National Cricket Team this year. Hardik Pandya is leading the shortest format of Team India, while both Rohit and Kohli have been sitting out of the matches in the shortest format.
The situation is the same for some other veterans like Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, etc. In an interview, when captain Rohit was asked about the absence of him and Virat from T20Is, the India captain gave an answer that left the reporter surprised.
Rohit explained his and other senior players' absence, saying last year was the same, as the players decided not to play ODIs as there was a T20 World Cup scheduled.
While giving a response to the reporter's questions, Rohit said, "Last year also, we did the same thing the T20 World Cup was there, so we didn't play one-day cricket. Now we are also doing the same; the ODI World Cup is there, so we are not playing T20s.
You can't play everything and be ready for the World Cup. We decided this two years ago. Ravindra Jadeja is also not playing T20; you did not ask about him. I understand the focus on himself and Virat. But Jadeja is also not playing."

Bestieeeee!!! I need help seducing a Venusian man 😶🌫🤭
i absolutely love getting Venus related asks lmao but I feel like Venus men find you and pursue you, not the other way around. they love to pick women and then just submit themselves to her will. so they kind of have to pick you.
which means you can manifest him!!! i recommend writing down the qualities of your ideal partner on your notes app/journal/piece of paper and then letting go
visualization is also a powerful tool. its been proven to work by numerous scientific studies. our minds are very fluid,, the more we impress an idea upon it, the more it believes it to be true and brings forth experiences that convince its truth. neuroplasticity is <333
athletes visualize themselves hitting their goal or achieving their target. and they do!! Virat Kohli (former captain of the indian cricket team) said he visualizes hitting the goal all the time so when he's actually playing he feels like he's already done it 100s of times and his body knows exactly what to do.
neeraj chopra (world champion & olympian in javelin throw) said he also visualized achieving his target 100s of times so when he was on the field, he just naturally did it.
apply the same logic to your life. repeat an image in your mind, 100s or 1000s of times until it feels natural and real. and it WILL HAPPEN. just trust me
forget about astrology for a sec
when u say u want a Venusian man, u basically want a man who spoils you, cherishes you and takes care of u and YK WHAT???? you deserve all that and more AND YOU CAN HAVE IT
in your mind, try to imagine what it would feel like to be loved, cherished and spoiled. make up cute scenarios and play it back in your mind again and again
do it in first person POV tho, bc your brain has to feel like YOURE experiencing it and if you visualize it in 3rd person then it feels like youre watching it happen to someone else???
best of luck bestieee, cant wait for u to bag that man who will give u the whole galaxy and fill u with so much love and light!!!!

for the charles, alex and charlotte thing. I think it has been debunked that alex and charlotte weren't friends but friendly because charlotte's sister and alex shared a class. and charlotte and her sister (but mainly the sister) have been really using that former relationship to get engagement. apparently the sister liked a comment about how charlotte and her family were with charles during his hard times. they were also caught running chacha relationship fan accounts and their whole business that they started is a little shady because they don't respond or something. and on a reddit gossip thread once I read that charlotte used to sell some stolen designs or something you can see it on the fauxmoi subreddit when you type F1 in the search bar. all in all its just a lot of holding on to a former relationship (from the fans) they still make edits to songs like deja vu and say that alex and charlotte look alike which I don't think they do at all.
also the F1 gossip pages on Instagram and Tumblr seem to have their favs. I've seen blatant misogyny when it comes to wags like alex, rebecca, carmen. for alex it's always she's private so why is she on tiktok or why is she going out with her boyfriend, she should be private, she wants privacy etc etc (which like she just doesn't want the crazy fans to camp out in her Instagram comments and hate on her constantly and her tiktok is just outfit videos and makeup videos.) for rebecca they'll call her an escort, a whore, call her ugly. again this strong reaction is elicited because she's dating carlos. and carlos is not a wittle baby with no agency who's trapped by ugly witchy rebecca. they're two adults who are consensually hooking up or dating. for carmen it's always that she left her career for him and moved to monaco to be an influencer, which again her choice, she's free to do what she likes and maybe she wanted the easy money from influencing who cares. the gossip pages are surprisingly positive about kelly sometimes (which i suspect is because she provides them with the girl dad max content; another reason they don't like some other wags) I don't think I saw the whole tiktok drama about kelly being covered by the big gossip pages.
i think in every sport, to a certain extent, the wags are hated and criticised for every move that they make and for even the actions of the player. I am a casual cricket watcher and this was a huge deal at the time. so Virat Kohli, the former captain of Indian cricket team and a very reputable player, was dating (is now married to) a Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma and i remember the hatred she used to get just because she was watching a game and when he was under performing, she used to be the one getting the blame. it was so bad that she stopped attending games and they even broke up once or twice. the same was with other cricket wags as well. it was Athiya Shetty, wife of KL Rahul for a while and now the target is Natasha Stankovic, wife of Hardik Pandya.

In a team sport especially winning championships takes a different brand of Cricket. It's always the great teams, astute captains & the Cool coaches makes uh win Championships. The very RCB story over the years has been a management lesson. You need to find a way to win, not to learn out of the defeats every year. You 've the best batter in the world at the disposal. I don't know how to decode this but Virat Kohli deserves a IPL trophy at whatever it takes doing. Good luck for tonight game 🫶

Indian batting star Virat Kohli praised Ben Stokes after his amazing knock at Lord's
India's superstar batsman Virat Kohli has praised England captain Ben Stokes after his heroic knock at Lord’s and called him the most competitive player he has ever played against. The former India captain took to Twitter after the game to praise Stokes, saying he played an inning of the highest quality. Stokes scored 155 runs in 214 balls, where he smashed nine boundaries and as many sixes.
Kohli posted on Twitter, "I wasn’t joking about calling Ben Stokes the most competitive bloke I’ve played against. Innings are of the highest quality, but Australia is too good at the moment."
On day 5, Stokes played a heroic captain’s knock as he scored 155 runs to take England close to the 371-run target set by Australia at Lord’s.
