!!!!!!!!!!SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3OWL HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!
Platonic yandere possessed hunter and emperor belos scenario
WARNING: body horror, toxic mindsets.
* * *
The floorboards creaked underfoot as you slunk through the corridor like a mouse in search of cheese, taking care to walk on your tippy-toes and allow long pauses to fall between each step.
It was as if someone had dumped salt down your throat, for it had burned ever since you awoke from a dream of deer and rabbits with eyes aglow.
The door to the basement hung open in the soft pull of the air conditioning. The steady hum of the machine tucked away in a corner did little to muffle the whispers and grumbles that carried on the breeze.
You approached the kitchen on the promise of gathering a nice glass of tap water to wash the dryness out of your mouth.
As soon as you were near the entryway, the rancid stench of decay went up your nose. It was mixed with the earthy scents of moss and wet dirt, like a carcass rotting in the moors. It churned your stomach and singed your nostrils.
Your final steps to the kitchen were halted by a footfall, an abrupt sound that evolved into someone pacing across the tile floors.
The silvery glow of the moon shone through the window overlooking the sink, and it cast its light upon the blond head of Hunter. The curtains lapped the air around him and fluttered in the wind billowing into the home.
A gaunt shadow loomed at his side no matter how far he walked, whispering sentiments into his ear that clouded his mind. It had blue eyes like a will-'o-the-wisp drifting deep in the forest and a voice like velvet. “You wish they were as alone as you are.”
“You want it so badly that you can hardly contain yourself,” Belos spoke with the inviting tone that Hunter would have flocked to in his younger days.
The palms of his hands collided with the corners of the sink. His stomach swam in circles, and the tightness in his throat teased the rise of bile.
“But you're afraid of what the others will think.”
Belos allowed a moment of silence to pass, and he turned his head towards Hunter with the slowness of someone who revelled in the effect his words had. “Then again, you wish there weren't any others, don't you?”
Hunter dunked his hands in the stream of tap water and splashed his face until it became a waterfall in front of his eyes. The liquid was meant to cleanse the dark energy squeezing his heart as if to make the organ burst, but it merely inflamed his eyes and trickled into his mouth.
Streaks of water cascaded down his cheeks, framing the tears that were threatening to spill. “I'm not like you,” rasped Hunter, his teeth clenching while his fingers dug into the corners of the sink until they vibrated and his knuckles turned white.
The gangly figure of Belos hunched over him. “That's all you are, Hunter.”
Hunter had shut his eyes and balled his fists, but this made his eyes fly open and his fingers splay. His breathing was quickening by the second, exploding out of him as if every breath was torn from his lungs.
The babble of the tap water hitting the sink drew his attention to the water accumulating around the plugged drain. He saw his reflection—the glowing eyes and viny antlers sprouting from atop his head—on the surface of the liquid and recoiled.
With a desperate yelp, Hunter pushed himself away from the sink and backed into the kitchen island. The cold shock of the granite returned his senses enough for him to take a deep breath and slump his shoulders.
His back remained arched like that of a hissing cat, but the muscles were tensed further when a dark shape materialized before his eyes.
It was a living skeleton, an entity so emaciated that it had no room for guts. The outline of its ribcage protruded from its mossy flesh, which clung to the bones as if it were a skintight suit. It had the antlers of a deer but the clear eyes of a humanoid. The entity was taller than any one man and nearly scraped the ceiling.
“Here,” it hummed, speaking slack-jawed and lipless with what few rotten teeth still sat in its decaying mouth. “Let me help you.”
As you curled your fingers around the rough texture of the doorframe and leaned forward to sneak a peek, your big toe pressed against the floorboard.
The wood flexed with a piercing groan beneath the sudden weight, and the head of Hunter spun towards the entryway.
A glimpse of blue was all you dared to see before you ducked behind the safety of the wall. The blackness of the corridor stalked forward and seemed to absorb the oxygen in the air, constricting your chest in a way that shortened your breaths to nervous puffs.
You struggled to control your breathing and turned back to the kitchen.
Hunter was standing at the entrance, or at least, something that had taken his skin as its own was. His eyes gleamed with the colour blue rather than rose, half-closed and blazing in the chilliness of the night. Striping the right side of his neck and jaw was a piece of diseased flesh, its surface having the likeness of green wood.
A disproportionately long shadow stretched from his feet and crawled into the darkness. At its end, where the contour of his head was thrown across the floor like splattered paint, a pair of antlers were raised high.
“Looking for something?” His voice was slow, serene and lacked the anxious edge that often leaked into Hunter's voice. His pronunciation of the words overlapped with identical sounds as if two voices were speaking in tandem.
One was much quieter than the other, and the voice that filled your ears was honeyed in a way that did nothing to stop the pit of your stomach from dropping. “Water,” you blurted, lifting your arms from your sides and folding them.
Hunter let out a chuckle, an understated noise that was barely more than a hum. His shoulders and head bobbed as he did this, and then he fell still. Silence reigned supreme as he continued to make unwavering, unblinking eye contact with you.
His right arm extended towards the sink and disappeared behind the wall, but he had yet to leave his spot in the entryway. The sound of joints popping out of place and leafage stretching to unnatural lengths broke the quietude of the house.
The arm reappeared with a glass of water in hand, but the pale skin was tainted by splotches of green and wooden brown. The bumps and ridges of a log and branch had engraved themselves on the flesh.
You scrambled to keep a hold of the glass when it was pushed into your arms, with Hunter's hand retracting soon after. There was a smile on his face, yet the joy it held seemed as fake as the porcelain skin of a doll.
“He thinks he cares for you.” His smile fell to a straight line, taking the amusement out of his voice and replacing it with a deathly monotone. “How pathetic.” The blue light fled from his eyes, and the rose colour returned.
Hunter gasped for air and lurched forward, clutching his chest and digging his fingers into the fabric of his yellow shirt. His knees were bent as he fought the urge to collapse. He planted his free hand on his left knee and attempted to push himself up.
“Hunter?”
You watched him as though he had done something wrong, and Hunter found himself unable to look you in the eye.
“Good night.” He forced the words through gritted teeth.
Before you could say anything else, Hunter darted past you and marched down the corridor to the basement. The door slammed behind him, leaving you to peer into the blackness with the lingering thought that someone was looking back at you.
A light was flicked on at the opposite end of the space. A tired Camila shuffled out of her bedroom, and she rubbed her eyes with her knuckles before squinting at you. “¿Cariño? Is everything okay?”

Spillway area
Rflong added a port lot down by the bay. And while I was over on TSR looking around, as one does, I came across a marina someone built.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The original only had that tiny building, the boat trailer, moving van and the docks with the berthed boats. But since I like for my sims to have something to do when they visit lots, I added stuff. First off, I changed out the dock planking and the fencing for the one that came with Barnacle Bay. The originals were just too pristine. And if you’ve ever gone boating - which I have - docks are not all squeaky-clean. Then I added more lights and all the food-service items. I used Arsil’s ice-cream thingie, Sandy’s barbeque-season’s food table, and the stuff from that Carnival lot EA did. I also gave my sims some tables-and-chairs and a lemonade stand. Then I added a small stone fence behind my trailer, so my idiot sims don’t back it into the bay and added more chain-link fencing on the other end, so they don’t fall off the cliff there. Plus, a small generator and some Sims 1 items that @grandelama created. (Thank you!)
Tumblr media
Then I hopped over to that Spillway area under the bridge. Since it’s supposed to be a swamp - as most spillways are - I decided to place a few more industrial builds there. The original lots were all zoned as residential, but who in their right mind wants to live in mosquito-land? Again, the one I used were both cyclonesue builds that were on smaller lots originally. The dark brick one was created fairly early on and consisted of just the building.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This was her glue factory lot. (She built it to showcase her storage tanks). It is now a glasswork’s lot, since I used it to place that glass-blowing machine EA sold. It was on a 20x25 lot and this one is 30x20, so I had space to add stuff. I changed all the windows and doors, added those 3 drainpipe things on the side, plus all the viny stuff. I also changed the roof pattern to a rusty one I got from over on MTS. And I used stuff from Sandy’s “trash” set to grunge the place up a tad more. Inside I got rid of all her residential house crap and made it into a factory. (Note to self: I need to add some fog emitters to add some pigeons to that parking area. Maybe some rats inside).
That other lot in the 1st picture was cyclonesue’s abandoned Split Pea factory, and like I said, it was just the basic building itself on a much smaller lot. I went with her lot description and made it into my town junkyard. (It’s “for-sale” if anyone’s interested! So, I do need to add my “for-sale” sign) First thing I did, was grunge up that building on the roof and change the caps on the four corners, then added some fog emitters so that they “smoke.” I added the fencing, all the outside decor - including that nifty smokestack created by Sandy. And of course, junkyard spawners - and a few others. (There were none). Inside, I left her tiny kitchen area - just grunged it up a tad, then got rid of everything else. (It was originally zoned as a house). I did place 2 of those inventor’s benches and 1 of those gem-cutting machines, because I have that mod that allows you to make trash into sellable stuff. Oh! one of those garbage cans is a “fireplace” so it catches on fire - as does a set of discarded tires she created. And I used a garbage can created by Zedrael for his Hobo set, that sims can root around in and get food to eat. Because everyone eats out of a garbage can, doncha know!
Then I took my Devil Dog outside to help me feed the chickens. Right now, I only have 3 left, since chicken hawks and our resident fox ate the other 3. I plan on getting some Silkie ones to replace the deceased ones. But in the Spring since the ones I have now are on-strike and not laying eggs. Told them there are a gazillion ways to cook chickens, but they aren’t impressed. Stupid chickens!

Preorder Ilyas Ahmed's ‘A Dream of Another’ LP
Tumblr media
Geographic North is thrilled to announce Ilyas Ahmed's excruciatingly beautiful 'A Dream of Another', a masterful LP of minimalist mantras and slow motion sonatas. For nearly two decades Ahmed has spread out a tapestry of spectacular solitude, somewhere between off-kilter folk and grimly contemporary ambient music. Whether on his own, as a full time member of Grails, or together alongside the likes of Liz Harris (Grouper), Golden Retriever, and most recently Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Ahmed trudges through the murkiest sonic territories with patient consideration. With 'A Dream of Another', the Pakistan-born, Portland, Oregon-based musician sets out an even more oblique path than ever before, eschewing lyrics and vocals, incorporating a solemn drum machine, and charting a series of waking dreams that channel the moods and modes of Loren Connors, Andrei Tarkovsky, ECM, Eraserhead, and Vini Reilly. Stream the lead track "Little Devil" now and preorder the LP on shattered lapis blue vinyl as well as a hyper limited artist edition, featuring unique, hand-torn, cut, assembled, and signed collage by Ilyas Ahmed. A Dream of Another is out October 13th, with LPs shipping mid-November 2023.

[The Guitar and other Machines] [The Durutti Column] [1987] [LP] As the title of the album suggests, the focus this time is not solely on the guitar. The great guitarist Vini Reilly conjures up wonderful soundscapes here with some excellent guest musicians. The typical futuristic guitar sound is by no means lost. Instead, an almost magical symbiosis of the various instruments is created, including bass, trumpet, keyboards, harmonica, drum machine, xylophone, viola and human vocals. . Vini Reilly's sound magic is formative and unmistakable but never dominant. The other instruments are used skilfully and everything seems to be cast in one piece without drowning in a uniform sound mush. Fascinating contrasts that complement each other again and again in pleasant harmony. . Is there a bad album by The Durutti Column? Not that I know of! The guitars and other Machines is another precious musical pearl of the very special kind from the rich fund of Vini Reilly. . . . . .

Start T shirt Business 2018
that I'm going to be doing two different things at the same time so so I've got the outside here and then I've got the inside so I'm going to get work up these separately so I can cut one in the glitter and I can cut one in the white then we've got adding text we'll put rims and you've got all your fonts and your sizes and your adjustment to your character spacing all that that all comes with it we can also know I have you note if you notice on my image I arced it a little bit so
we're actually going to create another path so we can create a little bit of gnarrk so we'll create a circle view and I'm gonna literally take that and edit it so now this is going to ride on this arc I'll go ahead and I'll adjust the character spacing a little bit and as essentially how we've created that shirt now you can make all the all the adjustments that you need here to make to get it to fit just right for what you're doing that's great yeah sure just want to see if there are any questions nope okay.
http://heatpressmachinereviews.net/power-press-heat-press-machine-reviews/
today I can fantastic so what I'm going to do for the sake of what we've created here is I'm gonna go to the to the actual to the actual art file that I created earlier today so you can it so because I've got a couple files and already lined up and correctly sized in everything in color so I'm just gonna switch over here so you can see but still about how long did it do that process oh yeah the word work about twelve minutes in and and three-quarters of that was talking okay so all these the only difference you're gonna see on this file here is that I said sized exactly the way that okay so you click on it and everything you see everything so what you're what you're saying is you're not taking anything it's actually really yeah so everything.
http://heatpressmachinereviews.net/fancierstudio-15-15-inch-heat-press-machine/
here is just sized in the font that I had I created this file on my desktop computer I'm sorry I even have the same font sets and this computer that I've messed with but but that's what that's all we'll do is recreate this file so I have the same thing I've got the separate files here if you see here I've made all of these in the inside orange I made the outside red and this circle that I'm not going to cut out I made white because I don't want to cut that and that's what we're gonna show next is really how am I going to go ahead and cut this out next this is this design is now basically ready to go onto a shirt with pending.
any other adjustments you would want to make if it's a lettering or anything like that so that's where we'll go over to our little controller here and it shows that we've got three colors if you notice one thing the design flipped it's backwards now and that's part of cutting out of vinyl it's that it actually flips back and forth because we're gonna cut it upside down a mirror image so we can stick it to the shirt and I wanna be stick it to the shirt now we're seeing the front of it so what we're looking at here is almost as if is if if your face was this shirt and you're looking through the shirt at the design and you're the first was looking at the
t-shirt being the other side of the screen we're hearing a mirror image so we can cut out the inside the outside and then there is that circle that we're not going to cut out so we're just not selecting that though so we're gonna go ahead and we're going to cut the outside first so I've got some light vinyl so just to say it's gonna happen really quick so all we're doing gonna do to cut it is we're going to click this button so I'm going to turn the camera back on so you can see it happening on the cutter itself and then I'll click the button alright okay so here and
http://heatpressmachinereviews.net/5-1-swing-away-print-sublimation-heat-press-transfer-machine-t-shirts-mugs-hats-2-plate-sizes/
we're we're ready to go and so if you look on the bottom corner of the screen you'll see the cutter you're also going to see this is the this is actually the actions that we'd asked about and we're working with this Ram right here and so this is just a full catalog because I said this is a bill this is available for purchase there's anything you can think of in regards to sports mascots and all that .
you could use that if you need to use it for embroidery digitizing from the vector file or for use with a printer or screen printing whatever you're doing exactly they're graphics files so these are ready to do anything I made for this business yes they're made for the apparel industry so these are distant this is specifically for that so I like working with them just because they're so easy but if you've got an

Burgundy is a noble region of France where in the mid-1400s a protocol was defined for the production of wine to guarantee its quality. The protocol, combined with wonderful grapes such as Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, a particular climate and the commitment of hundreds of small producers, has been useful to create what today are exceptional wines, the type of wine that in the Lafayette warehouses of Paris are on sale for hundreds or thousands of euros. Until a few decades ago, the situation in Sicily was very different. Wine producers had large extensions that looked more at quantity than quality, because the commercial goal was to be able to sell it as a blending wine in Italy and France. The low price was offset by the huge quantity. In the seventies, with the refusal of French producers to let Sicilian wines into their cellars, there was a profound rethinking. In Burgundy the wines make about 650 million euros a year, a value that Sicilian producers dreamed of and even just a part of this value could compensate for the effort that the vine requires to produce quality. From that moment on, efforts were made to improve the production situation which in the 1980s was in a profound crisis. Only towards the end of the eighties, the appointment of Diego Planeta to the Regional Institute for Vine and Wine began to create those structural changes that led to improving the quality of production through the recovery of ancient vines and new production methods. Wines began to be born that years after years ended up successfully climbing the rankings of the best international wines. Friulian winemakers and producers arrived and began to settle in Sicily to create incredible products and brands of excellence. Alongside this change of course, the typology of producers also changed. In Burgundy the farms are made up of small producers scattered throughout the territory who have small but well-kept vineyards and the wines produced or come from individual vineyards as reported on their label or from the union of different musts each of which gives its own particularity to the wine. In Sicily the small producers had disappeared when the downy mildew destroyed the vineyards and only the big producers had the necessary capital to start replanting the vines again. The need for quality, however, led to placing the emphasis on small Sicilian producers and we went back to investing in small vineyards, perhaps a century old, adopting modern techniques for fermentation, also relying on the web as marketing or specialized chains for the sale of premium products.
The result has led to a new use of the production areas as happened on one side of Etna towards Randazzo, a magical place for viticulture that is called "Sicilian Burgundy". The place is very favorable for the vine. The great volcano stops the clouds and gives water, together with a land naturally rich in nutrients. The vines extend up to almost 900 meters in height, so that a very hot sun is followed by evenings and nights in which the cold descends from the top of the mountain to cool the vines. This particular makes the microclimate of the area similar to that of Burgundy where the winemakers have to fight with the spring frosts by lighting fires in the vineyards. But it is precisely this particularity that makes the wines unique. The vine is a living chemical machine that reacts to external stimulation; if the temperature is lowered, to resist vine produces more sugars and enriches the must with unique substances. However, the place where the vine grows is not sufficient to guarantee its quality. The how and when the grapes are harvested, the pressing, the vinification based on the vineyard, the aging in cask or bottle, all these and other factors contribute to adding more quality to what the vine naturally gives. All these activities are linked by the effort of producing which is not small since the vineyards are located on steep and inaccessible terraces. The result is excellent wines, great reds, excellent whites where the salinity of Etna is dissolved in hints of flowers and fruits and the tannin of the wine is never violently dominant but seduces and fascinates. Wines that belong to the high end of the market, exported all over the world to give back the sun and the flavors of the high lands in which they were born.
