Hello the few dragon booster fans that might see this I am in DESPRATE need to get myself a wyldfyr and kitt figure. I can't currently find any for listing. BOX CONDITION DOESNT MATTER! Ouch, made me think of JM claim of song "not about" TS- but she had a 2010 Barbie of her). Never really got into Skipper- but somehow remember seeing the books in passing. Debut TS kinda had a younger vibe, a pre-grownup Barbie. bit. ly/3KkVVCP One version was only available in India.

you know, it seems counterintuitive, but i think i had a barbie paper doll book at one point! i loved paper dolls for some reason (my love of vintage-y things maybe?), i liked cutting out their dresses and folding back the little tabs. (jm: "you're like 22 girls in one" *pretends that doesn't mean anything*) taylor's dolls were made by jakks pacific, i'm slightly surprised mattel hasn't taken advantage of making a true barbie version (though maybe she wouldn't want that now? uncertain). there has been so much drama over the years between mattel, hasbro, and mga entertainment, they could make a dramatic series out of it. the cutthroat world of dollmaking.

How to tell the difference between Jakks Pacific and Corinthian Ponies

(Disclaimer - this is information that I have cobbled together myself from various firsthand and secondhand sources. It is my attempt to make everything as factually accurate as possible but it is not an official recount and therefore not necessarily always correct)

The Pony In My Pocket brand and toy line originated as hard plastic figurines in the 1990's by the toy brand MEG (Morrison Entertainment Group). They were released alongside such toys as Puppy In My Pocket (launched 1993) and Kitty In My Pocket (1994). These vintage toys were discontinued but more information can be found about them on this amazing website.

In 2005, the Puppy In My Pocket toy line was redesigned and relaunched, now using softer plastic figurines covered in flocking. Other In My Pocket lines were also redesigned and relaunched, with the first Pony In My Pocket flocked ponies being released in 2008. During this line's production run, it was licensed to two different companies, Corinthian and Jakks Pacific. From my understanding, both released toys simultaneously (during the 2008-2010 run). Both companies manufactured toys with similar designs, molds and colous; there is a substantial overlap between Corinthian's Series 1.1 ponies and ponies released by Jakks Pacific. As all Pony In My Pocket toys have long been discontinued, it is incredibly difficult to find ponies still within their packaging. If you are pedantic like I am, and wish to know if your newly acquired secondhand pony was produced by either Corinthian or Jakks Pacific, then this post is for you!

Below are some photographic examples of the visual differences of Jakks Pacific and Corinthian ponies. Jakks Pacific will always be on the left and Corinthian on the right. Jakks Pacific ponies are, on the whole, larger and their colours and markings vary quite a lot compared to their Corinthian counterparts. The flocking often has a slightly glittery appearance. Whites of the eyes are much smaller and the eyes themselves are much larger physically and painted with thicker, brighter paint. Note - many of these ponies are secondhand and have sustained some damage or discolouration over the course of their lifetimes.

Silver #111122 - Jakks Pacific figurine has a hole in its side as it was originally part of a playset called Charm Ponies where ponies could be placed onto a bracelet. Some Corinthians newborns have this hole in their sides also, I am unsure why.

Special Edition Rainbow Ponies Nash #3005 - although the Jakks Pacific pony is a different colour I think these two demonstrate the difference between the two brands very well. Pink pony comes from the Fantasy Little Homes playsets by Jakks Pacific. Note - Nash #3005 is NOT a part of the Series 1.2 Purple Ponies collection.

Special Edition Rainbow Ponies Mysty #3009 - as above.

I hope this may help you with your pony identification. Please note that my blog is specifically focused upon my Corinthian ponies as I consider them distinct from Jakks Pacific and therefore not technically part of my collection. There is significantly less information available surrounding Jakks Pacific Pony In My Pocket. They do not appear to have biographies (Pony Profiles) in the same way that Corinthian ponies do. They were sold in different types of playsets to the Corinthian ponies. Jakks Pacific also used a slightly different logo - a white pony with a pink horseshoe - compared to Corinthian - three ponies within a stitched pocket, this should help you immediately distinguish any that are still within their packaging.

My Doll collection as of 1-25-19

Been meaning to do this for a few weeks now, initially out of sheer boredom one night but started to really want to make this post but didn’t get around to it until now for some reason. So here it is My Full doll collection (Save for my 9 Princess Anna Dolls and 1 Elsa Doll. I keep them separate from the rest of my dolls) 

This first Photo is The Bulk of my doll collection, which was taken 2 days before christmas, so this is about 90% of my doll collection as I got a bunch more after taking this. It’s 90% barbies (and her friends and family) From Mostly the late 70s′s to Now along with 2 Vintage TNT Barbies. The Other 10% is 2 Liv Dolls, a Star Wars Episode 1 Ultimate Hair Queen Amidala, a Mattel Tangled Rapunzel doll, a Disney Store Ariel Doll, and a Jakks Pacific Holiday Elegance Doll, which totals to 69 in this photo, which doesn’t look great with the tumblr image compression. Took up most of my bed taking this so I had to lean back to not cast a shadow and then zoom in and then crop it.

This Next Photo is of My Beauty Secrets Barbie (who is my current profile pic), because I just noticed over a month after taking that first huge group photo for my twitter I didn’t include her, so here she is in all her glory.

Next 3 photos are of the 11 Dolls I got after taking that huge group photo (10 if you don’t count that Jyn Figure at Right end as a doll). From Left to Right These Are: Marvel Rising Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider ( the one that comes with her civilian clothes and less articulation), a 35th Anniversary 1959 Barbie Repro from 1994, an Aquaman Mera Doll, a Barbie Fashion Avenue Kay-Bee Toys Special Edition doll, Barbie Fashionistas # 63, Justice League Mera Barbie, The 2008 Barbie Silver Label Supergirl Doll (one of my Holy Grail dolls who I finally got earlier this month), Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie, Ponytails Barbie from 1997, Aquaman Royal Gown Mera, and Lastly the Disney Store Star Wars Elite Series 10″ Jyn Erso Figure.

Transitioning from My Large Box of Dolls to a smaller backpack of other stuff, Starting with my dolls I still need to clean, Fix up, Rebody, ReRoot, etc. The 3 Dolls blacked out dolls in other photos as I took this photo back in april I think while all the other photos are from this year save for the first.

Also in that Backpack are my 6 ken Dolls, I used to have more but when My mom Found all my dolls stuff about 2 years ago and had me get rid of it (which I saved most aside from broken dolls and parts), she took my old ken dolls and made them into Fake Oscars for her Oscar Party, and she still has them somewhere, and Over the course of the next year or 2 I got 4 older ken dolls online, and those 2 fashionistas ken dolls at TRU when they were starting to go out of business. Also ignore the Horrible Make up on the Asian ken at the right end, I thought his face looked so feminine I gabbed a maker and A pen for some reason and drew make up on his face and threw a hair fair wig on him, unfortunately I didn’t clean it off in time so it stuck.

Lastly Here are all my Action Dolls, not really Fashion Dolls or regular Action Figures. From Left to Right we Have: a Hasbro New Batman Adventures 12″ Batgirl Figure, DC Super Hero Girls Training Supergirl (who’s hair was cur short to be more like Injustice Supergirl), DC Super Hero Girls Batgirl, Star Wars Forces of Destiny Jyn Erso, FOD Rey of Jakku (who I made to be less rey and more Daisy Ridley), FOD Padme (One of the Last FOD figures Released who I got earlier this month), FOD Rey of Jakku ( the one that comes with BB8 and wearing her training gear from TLJ), Disney Store Star Wars Elite Series Rey, and Disney Store Star Wars Elite Series Jyn Erso (again) I keep these In a box under my bed with other 10″-12″ scale figures and other miscellaneous things.

I have not gotten anything doll related since taking these photos a few weeks ago, Mainly do to the need for a bigger doll box, and not really being in a doll mood for a hot minute.
