The dolls' house in the drawing room came from Newbridge, Donabate; it was probably made by the estate carpenter there in the eighteenth century. Inside there are three great empty rooms and, above child height, utilitarian shelves. Desmond Guinness has commissioned miniature copies of Irish furniture to furnish it once more.

Suggested by @/beeb-sd So a little bit of a personal story with this one; I was originally going to omit this one because there were SO many different pieces to this line, however, I felt as though I had to include this one. When I was a very little girl, the first 'big' present I EVER got in my life WAS this doll house. I played with it everyday for 12 years straight and sadly lost many of the pieces, though I still have the doll house itself! I would give anything to have it completed again, but I am too broke to re-buy every doll and furniture piece. If it weren't for this doll house though, I would've never cared about dolls, probably. Below the cut is a picture of me, opening this very doll house on my birthday back in 99/2000?
