The duo would soon arrive at the area where the competition would take place. The village chief, an inkling with a tentacle moustache, came out onto the stage. "Good afternoon, everyone! We're glad to announce that we're hosting this year's 5th annual Juice Chugging Competition. It's a time honored tradition here in this village, and this time, we have quite the prize for the winner."

Seeing the mustache, Neo did her best to hold back a laugh. Holy carp, it’s been AWHILE since she’s seen anyone with facial tentacles. Or at least, just a lone mustache due to the fact that she knew Captain Cuttlefish - the ex-Captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. But even with him, Neo was forced to hold back a laugh. Something about Inklings and Octolings with facial tentacles was just so funny to her.

“Well if it’s quite the prize you’re offering, then this champ’s defending her coddamn title!” Neo called out.

like i dont at all think that laios like, physically hurt his sister in these fights or that either sibling remember these as traumatic but like i do think this had to teach falin that her desires didnt matter because when she was small she had something she wanted and it wasnt fair that she never got it and nobody fucking cared

and laios didnt care cause he was a fucking child and, while a caring person, not naturally empathetic. he wanted to name the dog! Its not either of the siblings fault that their dad, like with the mythical significance of the dog names, just did shit and never fucking explained any of it to them

anyway i think if the touden siblings fought again falin would 100% kick laios ass. girl is slanging a lamp post like it has the weight of a pool noodle, and more importantly, both she and laios think laios is going to win so while he's doing older sibling bullshit like making sure he doesnt hurt her, she is haymakering him at a 100% strength and whatever happen happens she can piece together his jaw and heal it after the fact

Yin and Jinho dynamic is a strange one in the eyes of Sooga Village. Every interaction inevitably ends up in a fight that takes out half the town yet neither seem to make any effort to avoid each other. There is two seperate betting pools for when they will get married when in reality the two find the other to be the only worthy adversary in a 500 mile radius.

Not that Jinho would object to the idea of courting such a fierce and deadly warrior

Virtual Villagers 4: The Tree Of Life - 2010

One of my favorite slow paced cozy survival games, this series always makes me feel nostalgic.

The fourth one in particular stands out to me. The setting, the puzzles, the food sources. Everything.

I adore growing my small tribe into a thriving community.

The latest two entries in the series “Virtual Villagers - Origins 2” (of which I have started but yet to actually finish)

And the newest installment “Virtual Villagers 6 - Divine Destiny” are both faithful sequels / reboots to the original games.
