Here is the DA for Rust Crick, my midwestern gothic island!! i’m from a place called kentuckiana if u kno u kno....anyways this island was inspired by growing up here in the midwest, it is a love letter to my late grandpa, a country ass cranky old man who grew up in a tent by the river, who now lives here in perpetuity. i think he’d like it. :) have fun visiting!! i had fun making this island last year and i hope u all enjoy it!!!

Ok so I decided to update my autumn small town island, giving it an upgrade (although still hadn’t decorated the player houses, but I finished the villagers’ home to be themed and stuff, I am thinking about updating the island just so the inside of the player’s homes can be done but I am burnt out and lazy atm.)

Now I am kinda going for a more rural and chill theme with hints of cryptidcore and paranormal stuff cus why not, it’s gonna be October soon.

Oh and before you ask “why does this island take place in earlier winter” idk I just thought the colors of the trees (especially the cedar trees, my beloved) look cool please don’t acknowledge the winter decorations of the Plaza and Nook’s Cranny tho.

grandmacore island sneak peek🍃 i finished some garden areas but am still working on what to do for the villager homes!🌷im trying to keep everything more whimsical and resist making things too organized or structured🧸🫖 its been so cozy to design in this style and i love being back to working with spring vibes🌱
