I've always sucked at making storyboard type sets, but YIKES. lol, whatever.

【 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖 】

Laila is an heiress of 𝓡𝓪𝓲𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓭 Industries, an Indian multinational conglomerate founded by Laila's great-grandfather, Thakur Raj Raichand, in the early 1950's after Partition. While the company has long since gone public, it is still majority owned by the Raichand Family, and they run every aspect of it. Now Mumbai (Bombay) based, the Raichand's originate from the state of Rajasthan where the family once owned a fairly large piece of land that was sold off when Laila's grandfather was young. After succeeding in Bombay, the land was repurchased, as well as much of the surrounding area and a large palace named Chandshah Haveli was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic architecture style.

Karshvar is the seven-story Raichand estate in Mumbai, located on Altamount Road (also known as Billionaires’ Row), the name of the estate comes from Zoroastrian mythology. The Avesta, the primary collection of religious texts in Zoroastrianism, describes seven Karshwar, climbs or zones, that organize the world into seven circles superimposed on top of one another, separated by waters, mountains, and forests. Until the completion of the Ambani’s Antilia, Karshvar was the most expensive private residence in the country, possibly the entire region, and yes, it is more expensive than their literal palace in Rajasthan (as an FYI, Antilia is the most expensive private residence in the world, as of 2014, might’ve been surpassed by now). However, Karshvar still claims the most ground floor square footage of the road.

The Raichand's are a relatively traditional family, certainly in western standards, though they are considered very progressive amongst other Desi's, having a very religiously mixed and accepting family, and very matriarchal family. Women have long held authoritative power over the family, though that has passed matrimonially, with the wife of each successive head of the family gaining that authority. Overall the Raichands are a Hindu family, however, their spouses have come from all over India and beyond, of varied faiths and sects, due to this, the Raichand’s also have large celebrations for holidays of multiple religions, obviously Hinduism, as well as Sikhism, Jainism, and Islam. Their biggest events are Diwali, Durga Puja, Vaisakhi, Navratri, Karva Chauth, Eid, the First and Last Iftars of Ramadan, and Holi. They also have a fairly large, but private, family only event for Raksha Bandhan.

Laila is not close to her maternal family at all, neither is her mother. She's asked about them a couple times before, but her mother doesn't have the best expression when talking about her family, so Laila stopped asking. If they want to know them, they can find them, it's not Laila's problem. She’s not even completely sure if her mom’s original last name is even Burakgazi, her parents have changed the story a few times, but have more or less stayed consistent that they met while her father was working. At one point the story was almost identical to the plot of the film Bang Bang!, wherein a RAW agent supposedly stole the Koor-i-noor diamond back from the British, something involving multi-national terrorists, and her mom being a bank teller caught in the middle after her dad hijacked her blind date, none of which made any sense, but it was a fun story.

Kat is Payal and Kiran’s second cousin (probably), her paternal grandmother, Rashmi, is the sister of Yogesh Raichand’s best friend and Payal and Kiran’s grandfather, all three (Yogesh and the Desai siblings) grew up together, Rashmi and Yogesh even dated with talks of marriage until he met Mohini. Rashmi eventually married Kat’s paternal grandfather, and the couple moved to London for his work. A couple years younger than the Emirati trio, Kat lived most of her life in the UK, until her parents company moved them to their Dubai offices, and she built a closer relationship with Kiran and joined her friend group. Having grown up abroad, Kat’s Hindi isn’t great, though she can understand the gist of what is being said, her Arabic is far more fluent.

This is literally for me because I’m losing track of all the notable Families affiliated with the Raichands and their histories. I keep expanding my family tree, and forgetting things I don’t put in the bio sections. Laila took keeping things in the family too literally, by her I mean me, but literally everyone mentioned up there is bound in her family tree through one method or another, even got Is in there cause I decided that her half-brother is Laila’s eventual endgame. Far in the future, cause he a lot older (like red flag), so he doesn’t show up now, it’ll be creepy if he does.

Desai’s, friendship dates back to before even Yogesh, the Desai’s were heavily involved in establishing Raichand Industries, and outside of the Raichand family, own the most shares of RaiI, in the current generation, Vijay (grandson of Yogesh) and Payal (granddaughter of Dushant) are engaged. Yogesh once dated Dushant’s sister with semi-serious marriage talks, but forgot all of that after meeting Mohini, so that was awkward and dramatic. Lol Dadaji is a slut.

Khan & Kapoor filmi fam’s, friendship from the Veer/Vikrant/Riya generation, very thinly veiled references to bollywood things for my enjoyment. This Khan and Kapoor branch are also connected to each other, I think they are cousins by descent, while the Raichand connection is through a marriage, oh wait, the Raichand connection is even further away, cause it’s through the Dhanraj’s marriage! So at most, Vijay’s something, something cousins, but not Laila, Zoya, or Yash’s.

Rajnath launches two frontline warships

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday launched two indigenously built warships ‘Surat’ and ‘Udaygiri’ at the Mazagon Docks in Mumbai, and said this will “add might” to the Navy’s arsenal and represent India’s strategic strength before the world. This is the first time that two indigenously built warships have been launched concurrently, the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) said. The ‘Surat’ and ‘Udaygiri’ warships have been designed in-house by the Directorate of Naval Design (DND) and built at the Mumbai-based MDL, a premier ship and submarine building defence public sector undertaking. The launch of a ship marks the commencement of the next phase involving extensive outfitting activities by the shipyards readying these vessels for delivery. At the event, Singh said building of these two warships leaves no doubt that in the coming days, India will not only cater to its needs in the arena of shipbuilding, but will also take care of the requirements of others. “The two warships will add might to the Indian Navy’s arsenal and represent to the world India’s strategic strength as well as the power of self-reliance,” he said. The defence minister further said the indigenous aircraft carrier ‘Vikrant’ is a major milestone in the Navy’s path of “Aatmanirbharta” (self-reliance), and expressed hope that this will increase the country’s reach from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean. “The commissioning of Vikrant will be a golden moment in India’s defence history,” he said. As per the Navy, ‘Surat’ is the fourth ship of Project 15B Destroyers, which heralds a significant makeover of the P15A (Kolkata Class) destroyers, and is named after the commercial capital of Gujarat and also the second largest commercial hub of western India after Mumbai. The Project 15B class of ships is the Navy’s next generation stealth guided missile destroyers being built at the MDL. ‘Udaygiri’, named after a mountain range in Andhra Pradesh, is the third ship of Project 17A Frigates. P17A Frigates are warships that are a follow-on class of the P17 (Shivalik Class) Frigates with improved stealth features, advanced weapons, sensors and platform management systems, the Navy said. The new warship is the reincarnation of the erstwhile ‘Udaygiri’, the Leander Class ASW Frigate, which saw numerous challenging operations in its illustrious service to the country, spanning over three decades from February 1976 to August 2007, it said. Seven P17A Frigates are under various stages of construction at the MDL and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), the Navy said. “It gives me immense pleasure to be present amongst all of you, at the launching ceremony of INS ‘Surat’ and INS ‘Udaygiri’. In such a historical land, which has been the karmabhoomi of heroes like Veer Shivaji, Sambhaji and Kanhoji, the launch of these warships becomes even more important,” Singh said. Noting that Gujarat’s Surat city is famous for diamonds, Singh said in the coming days, the ‘Surat’ warship will prove to be a ‘diamond’ for the Indian Navy. He said these warships are an embodiment of the government’s unwavering commitment to enhance the country’s maritime capability, with focus on achieving self-reliance, at a time when the world is witnessing disruption in global supply chain due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. It has been just a week since Divyani got married to the royal family of Sundarnagar. She was only 20 years old but did not have much say in the decision of her marriage. If she had her say then she would definitely have wanted to pursue her studies, but instead she is now having to remain confined to the inner section of the large but aged palace. The building was large, but lacked proper maintenance  in most sections, as there were only a handful of maids and servants. She could now guess that the economic condition of her in-laws was not in a state which her parents had believed to be while arranging her marriage. But now she was already married and so these facts bore no significance. Her husband Vikrant was just 1 year older than her. And thankfully he has been very nice and caring to her, which has given her some level of comfort in the new place, where most people seemed to be indifferent to her. The maids in the household seemed to act in an odd way at most times. They mostly avoided any conversation. She had tried a few times but they would always find some excuse to evade her. Her husband though has been quite considerate to her. He was the only reason why she did not feel miserable in this place. He was a tall young guy of good athletic physique. Divyani had liked Vikrant from the first time he got to see him. He has tried to remain close to her, to provide her company at  most times. However it seemed a bit strange to her that he has not tried to get close to her physically, even after a week of their wedding. She was too inexperienced and naive to make any advance herself, and even though she was not too anxious in having herself plucked, she did feel a  bit odd every morning to wake up after an uneventful night. She could not really understand the character of her mother in law Indumathy in these few days. She always maintained a halo of mystery and gravity around herself. Everyone in the house seemed to respect her, to a level which could be even termed fear. Divyani could not comprehend her mother in law's real age and she never draped herself in white even though Divyani knew that she was a widow. when Divyani had tried to inquire about the demise of her father in law then her husband had swiftly veered the topic towards something else. There were only a handful of times when Divyani had spoken to Indumathy, and the discussions had always been concise and swift. She could never really think of any reason for Indumathy's grudge towards her, if any, but she was sure that the relationship would normalize over time. Divyani always slept sound and deep, and hardly woke up ever in the middle of the night. But she did wake up tonight in the midst of her sleep when the strong noise of a thunderbolt and the feel of moisture in the air disturbed  her sleep. As she reluctantly turned around, she could not find her husband on the bed beside her. She sat up on the bed and looked around for Vikrant but could not find her in the room. She felt a bit uneasy being in the large bedroom in the middle of the night all by herself but tried to shake off the feeling. She was wearing nightwear with no undergarments.She got down from the bed and walked towards the large window in the room. There  was a strong gust of  wind coming in and she could finally close the window after some struggle. It was then that she heard the voice outside the room, It was as if someone was calling by her name, but the voice was faint. She thought that it was her husband who had got back and therefore quickly ran towards the door. But once she opened the door she was initially surprised and then finally her feelings turned to morbid fear as she saw a semi transparent male figure waving at her from a distance in the dimly lit hallway. Divyani  was about to scream but then the mystery figure put a finger on his lips  suggesting her not to.Then he waved at her again, asking her to follow him.. Divyani was terrified but she found herself to be involuntarily following the ghost, as if she were in a spell. It was dark and eerie down the hallway

but Divyani felt compelled to follow the spectral figure against her best judgement. The apparition was walking slowly around 15 feet ahead of her, and Divyani continued to walk on with her heart racing wildly and her body sweating profusely. Finally after walking for a duration of which Divyani had no sense the shadow finally stopped and raised its hand. Divyani could vaguely realize that it was trying to point towards something to her right and when she looked that way she found there was a door. At that very instant there was another loud thunder and lightning outside and to her utter horror Divyani could clearly see the outline of a middle aged man with his throat slit and dress drenched in blood. Divyani had to struggle to avoid fainting at that moment, and she somehow stumbled on towards the door which the ghost was pointing her to. She walked to the door in a state of half consciousness and as she pushed the heavy door it opened inwards. The loud sound of another thunderbolt outside drowned the creaking noise of the door, but it could not completely submerge the venereal shriek of the woman who was riding Divyani's husband's cock on the bed inside the room. And the next lightning revealed to Divyani who the woman was. She somehow turned back and came out of the room, as her head spinned and her world seemed to have turned upside down. She tried to run away and even while she fainted in the hallway Divyani did not know if her mother in law had seen her in the midst of the unthinkable act inside the secret room deep in the night.
