I had never seen this series of pictures before. They were labeled as taken in Ortenberg, a wine-producing region in Hesse. It looks like a wonderful family holiday (at least for the adults.)

Unfortunately, I don't know everybody in the pictures. I recognize the following:

Ernst Ludwig's two little sons

The young woman, all the way at the left of the table, may be Louise Mountbatten, later Queen of Sweden.

Two blond little girls are probably Theodora and Margarita, daughters of Alice…

An older boy with dark hair may be Victoria's but I am not sufficiently familiar with them to accurately identify him. There are two young women in the first photographs who may be nannies. I do not recognize them.

If you can identify anybody I did not, please send me the information. I really like to know who is who; I learn a lot that way!
