Veronica does almost ALL the old school gay girl things - including, stereotypically, going to a women's college - and yet Betty is the one who wonders if she's bi & and gets hit on by the queer FBI agent etc. Why do the women who try to seduce other women on Riverdale keep missing out on Veronica?? Cheryl -> JOSIE when Veronica is the one that can't resist touching her hair (and dances with her); Toni -> Cheryl and only Cheryl (despite dancing with Veronica); Jillian Drake -> Betty Cooper; Donna-> Betty Cooper, even. Heather and Minerva yeet out of Riverdale as soon as a thing with Cheryl doesn't work.... Sigh. Veronica has been trying so hard - she has kissed Betty and Cheryl, was in a band with Josie, hired Toni & gave her short lived gang a purpose, hosted the MurderCon. Veronica tried to stifle the intense surge of...something she felt when Chuck so calmly asserted that the men of her past weren't up to par with what she deserved - she deserved a real man who would meet her every need without any difficulty, and who would allow and help her meet his in return. She looked at Chuck for a few seconds, her cheeks growing steadily darker, especially when he alluded her not exactly being hard to figure out. "I can be very mysterious when I want to be..." She protested weakly, a small smile pulling at her lips before she relented and shook her head. "No. You've proven to be...very, very different. I've never met anyone like you, Sir."

She knew she had to be cautious here. Chuck wasn't exactly emotional - or at least she didn't appear to be. He talked a big game about not giving up on her, but she felt that if she kept all this sentimental bullshit up, he'd get weirded out and send her away. She had to get her emotions in check. No matter what submitting to a man who could actually Dominate her - who she was also insanely attracted to and mesmerized by made her feel, she had to compartmentalize and take what she could get, without making him feel as though she needed more. It was a delicate line to tread, but she'd do next to anything at this point, just to keep feeling like this with Chuck. At his order, Veronica climbed back onto the bed and assumed the presenting position, she watched as he joined her, then retrained her gaze forward, sighing with barely stifled delight as he got up behind her, looming intimidatingly over her tiny, submissive frame. She mindlessly gaze her ass a little wiggle, yelping as his strong hand came down on the swell of her toned rear, leaving a handprint in his wake. Veronica gasped, throwing her head back as a elongated whimper fell from her parted lips as she savored the feeling of his fingers sliding through her soaked folds, feeling exactly how turned on she was for him, and only him. She whispered, her voice hitched as he inserted his digits, hooking them up inside her in such a way that made her almost collapse in pleasure - she registered his note though and maintained her position in the end, though she tremebled almost violently as he finger-fucked her pussy mercilessly. Present,” he ordered, getting to his feet when she disconnected from him. Once she was in place, Chuck got up behind her on his knees. His hand ran along her ass before giving a sharp slap to either cheek. “The reason for this position is to look you over and make sure you’re prepared for me,” he explained, his fingers running selling her folds, feeling her heat and wetness before pacing two fingers into her. “Do not lose the position. I didn’t tell you to get out of it,” he said, thrusting heavily and quickly into her wet cunt.

Trunks Briefs vs The Luminary (Dragon Ball vs Dragon Quest)

The time-traveling swordsmen sworn to protect the future are here!

Fighter 1: Trunks Briefs, Dragon Ball's hopeful hero of the future.

Fighter 2: The Luminary, Dragon Quest's Eleventh hero and prince of Dundrasil.

Wiz: Even if the future is destroyed and the world is in danger, there will always be even the smallest semblance of hope.

Boomstick: Especially if you're created by Akira Toriyama, can travel through time, and wield a cool sword. Just don't bring the threats with you, please. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

PREFACE: This will likely be my last post about these ideas for the year unless I want it to be. My apologies if I get anything wrong regarding the character's personalities and arsenals. For the MU, the Luminary's pool of spells will be that of DQ11:Elusive Age and not from Smash Bros. Ultimate and he will not be fighting with his party. I will also be more-or-less using a composite Trunks from both Z and Super.

WHY:

Connections:

1. Both are created by Akira Toriyama

2. Both are swordsmen and have a variety of techniques that stem from a pool of limited life energy (Ki and Mana respectively).

3. Both traveled to the past to save their world and family from disaster (Trunks wanted to save his world, family, and loved ones from Dr. Gero's creations, and the Luminary wanted to save Veronica who sacrificed her life as the World Tree fell) only to bring their villains to the past with them to reclaim a lost power as Cell killed Trunks for the time machine since the Cyborgs/Androids were in the past and Darkling Calasmos followed the Luminary into the past in order to recover his body. I am very sure Toriyama made Calasmos look like Cell; insect-like design with what looks like wings on his back, shades of green that look like Cell's, black and smooth-looking shapes that adorn the upper chest, and Calasmos' joints look like Cell's joints due to the fabric-like or rugged look.

4. Both have enhanced states (Super Saiyan and Pep respectively)

5. Both are the sons of royalty (Trunks is the son of Prince Vegeta, and the Luminary is the Prince of Dundrasil)

Personal reasons: When I saw Black Adam vs Apocalypse's next time and saw Trunks, I was hoping that the Luminary would be his opponent since Brandon Yates' "Echoes of the Future" engrained this MU into my brain, and upon seeing Silver, I was disappointed (until I saw that they were going to use Xeno Trunks and Archie Silver). So, I wanted to give this idea a shot. I also thought that this is one of the best ways to introduce Dragon Quest to the series due to how mainstream Luminary/Eleven is compared to everyone except Slime, who is the face of the series.

THE FIGHT:

Art and animation: The dream is to have the legendary DevilArtemis animate this fight, and if Frieza vs Megatron is an indicator, it would look so cool! Especially the Ki attacks, magic spells, and transformations. The models do exist: Xenoverse models for Trunks and Luminary's model from Dragon Quest 11 and even Smash Bros. Dragon Quest is not as popular in the West when compared to Japan, but considering how well-received Hero was when he was announced for Smash, enough hype could be stirred up so as to pour more resources into the project. If it ends up 2D, the animation would be that of Xeno Trunks vs Archie Silver but with slightly better sword attack animations. HOWEVER, if this episode forms part of a season like Season 10, where even though the season starts in May or later, every episode is lovingly crafted with stellar animation, excellent voice acting (not sure if it would apply to the Luminary), and fantastic music, then this episode would have dreamy 3D animation (and considering what I have in mind, it's best that it's 3D).

Possible setup: The camera pans over a city in the process of being destroyed; there is a lot of fire and smoke, buildings are toppling, and there are giant mechanical monsters roaming the streets. Trunks arrives outside of town in his mother's time machine and hides it in a forest nearby next to a giant and eerily glowing sprout. He exits the machine and enters town quickly. Seeing the machines causing destruction and killing innocents, he gets to work literally cutting them down to size. The innocents that he saves cheer for him and he gives a thumbs up. He works his way to the main road where the Luminary is fighting the mechanical army. After defeating the living machines, the Luminary and Trunks meet, but before words are exchanged, they are ambushed by more robots.

FIGHT! :

1. Trunks and the Luminary start to slice the metal army again. Trunks uses basic Ki blasts and his less powerful Ki techniques while Luminary uses Sizz, Frizz, and Flame Slash. Feeling a little mischievous, the Luminary uses some spells on Trunks in an attempt to slow him down. Trunks reciprocates, throwing his own ranged attacks.

2. Luminary dodges and so they continue for a short, with Trunks using his weaker Ki techniques and Luminary using his aforementioned spells until Luminary gets a lucky shot (like a Critical Hit) on Trunks. Trunks decides to kick it up a notch and goes Super Saiyan, using stronger attacks and techniques. Luminary notices and decides to use Accelerate and switches his sword and shield for a greatsword, and so both are tearing through the bots like a round of Dynasty Warriors or Hyrule Warriors, sometimes going at each other.

3. They clash swords and some stronger ranged attacks cancel each other out. Trunks flies in and damages the Luminary quickly, who tries to hit Trunks with skills like Helichopter, but misses. So, he switches to two one-handed swords and uses Sword Stance, parrying, blocking, and attempts to get his own hits in with Sword Dance. Once Accelerate wears off, Trunks is able to rush Luminary somewhat easily. The Luminary goes more on the defensive but his speed and agility cannot let him keep up, resorting to Kaclang for momentary immunity to damage and then using Pep Up. It allows him to keep up with the half-Saiyan and even damage him with more Critical Hits.

4. The Luminary keeps up the pressure with his Gigaslash and Zapple spells. However, he's starting to tire himself out a bit as the Pep wears off, his mana running a little low. Trunks notices that his foe is a little winded and rushes him fast and hard, trying to end the fight fast. However, an explosion is heard and both turn to face it. The camera closes into their shocked faces as the explosion originated from the spot where Trunks hid the time machine and where the Yggdrasil root was located. They rush their way to it, Luminary using the opportunity to use Fullheal and a mana-restoring item.

5. When they arrive, the town explodes fully, leaving nothing behind. They travel to the past, to the moment the invasion begins. They start taking care of business fast. They are so effective that a giant robot drops in front of them with a giant impact. It... It's green and looks like a giant bug... They look at it and shock covers their faces, for the foe is creepily similar to the monsters they inadvertently helped to become stronger. This must be the big boss bot.

6. Trunks rushes in, trying to come up with a plan, but Luminary, having switched to a greatsword, uses Gigasmash, hurting Trunks and several enemies in the vicinity. Trunks decides to use his Burning Attack while Luminary uses Kasizz, resulting in a giant explosion that, unfortunately, doesn't leave the big bot with not even a scratch. Said bot starts to lunge and attack them, but both are able to dodge it. That is, until, it starts to use projectiles like lasers, bombs, missiles, and such. It spams so much that both are sent flying in opposite directions and crash onto the ground.

7. The bot army takes advantage of the weakened warriors and tries to swarm them. Luminary uses Greatsword Guard, parrying the attacks, and then cuts them down. Trunks cuts down the enemies like he did to Frieza's mooks. Both see an opening and decide to take it; the Luminary and Trunks start to slice the bot repeatedly in sync and then blast it with a Burning Attack and Kasizz (think of how Trunks killed Frieza) and they reduce the bot's size so much. This angers the big bot so much that it regrows its limbs like Cell and unleashes a giant energy blast that overwhelms both warriors, the Luminary switching to a one-handed sword and shield, trying to protect himself, but they are cheered on by the villagers and residents of the town.

8. Unwilling to give up, Trunks transforms into Super Saiyan Rage, and the Luminary becomes pepped up naturally. Trunks channels the hopes and energies of everyone into the sword to become the Sword of Hope while the Luminary charges up his Blade of Ultimate Power. With determination, they attempt one final attack: Trunks flies up high and Luminary uses Zoom, and as they come down, they slash the bot and each other in a one-stroke duel like Zoro vs Erza or Obi-Wan vs Kakashi.

9. The battle ends with the bot and one of the two combatants being sliced in half and disintegrated in a flash of light and an explosion, except the weapons of the lose, be it Trunks' sword or the Luminary's sword and shield, would not be completely destroyed. However, there is no hatred or remorse. All they feel is gratitude towards their opponent for fighting alongside them to protect innocent people, reminding them of how important hope is and how they need to be careful when time traveling.

10. Shortly before they leave, they take the sword and jab it in the ground, like the sword in the stone or the Master Sword from Zelda. If Trunks wins, the Luminary's sword stands in front of the Yggdrasil root, with the shield standing with the sword. If the Luminary wins, then he does the same with Trunks' sword in front of the Capsule Corp. time machine. They then returned to the future, bidding farewell to the villagers that have come to say goodbye and to pay respect to the fallen savior.

RESULT:

Strengths and weaknesses:

Trunks:

+ Physically stronger and faster.

+ Flight allows for greater mobility.

+ Has stronger and faster ranged options with his Ki attacks.

+ Longer lasting transformations.

+ Ki sensing could likely help him find the Luminary, countering any potential stealth.

≥ Likely has the better swordplay training.

- Becomes tired once Super Saiyan wears off and cannot immediately transform again.

Luminary:

+ Has healing options in healing items and magic.

+ Greater versatility with his offensive magic, minor support magic, swords, greatswords, shields, great-shields, armor, and accessories.

+ Instant kill/defeat options in Whack and Thwack.

+ Pep does not tire him out and can be pepped up again once it is exhausted with Pep Up...

- ...but Pep Up requires mana and it does not last as long as a natural pep.

- He does not have the vast range of spells as he does in Smash Bros. Ultimate.

- Cannot access the Pep Powers that require allies by himself.

- Limited amount of health and mana recovering items.

Ending puns:

MUSIC:

Name: "Future's Hopeful Sword"

The title makes reference to both combatants' time-traveling and associations with the future as well as their usage of the sword. It also refers to Trunks' Sword of Hope.

Art: Emerging from the Capsule Corp. logo would be Trunks' Sword of Hope clashing with the Luminary's Solar Flair sword or the Blade of Ultimate Power charged with pep power (the former is better as it would mean both combatants' fully powered sword would be on the cover art) which would be emerging from the Mark of Yggdrassil.

Sound: Orchestral rock. It starts with The Hero Goes Forth With A Determination, and as the fight picks up the pace, it starts to sound like Cha-La Head Cha La. In the middle, their would incorporate elements of Dragon Soul, and at the climax, the music flares up, with Cha-La Head Cha La blaring at full power. It's full power rock, like a mix of Brandon Yates' Hedge of Tomorrow and Dragon Dance. The music reaches a crescendo during the one stroke duel, and slowly but surely, we hear the DQ11 intro theme closing us out. To better envision this, think of it like Hero's victory screen in Smash Bros. Ultimate but more quiet and solemn.

This was my favorite DB! MU suggestion thus far by a large margin. I wanted to put in so many spells, Ki techniques, and references to the Android/Cell Saga. There are also some details I wanted to put in, like little insects or cells climbing up the Yggdrasil root when Trunks initially arrives, and some of those same cells/insects enter sneakily before Trunks closes the time machine, (however, upon rewatching, one would notice those little buggers, setting up the big boss early on), how the mechanical army would have elements of DBZ's Cell Jr. and DQ's Eggsoskeletons and iconic Golems, the big boss bot blocking the two's sword strikes like Goku blocked Trunks' sword swings, and how their time traveling transport being damaged as they enter the past, be it the time machine being burned and having pieces and chunks blown off or the Yggdrasil root starting to wither. I have so many ideas that I am genuinely considering developing these ideas with concept art and storyboards (too bad I have neither the skills, tech, or time). However, if this episode becomes a reality, then a lot will have to be cut, namely the mechanical menaces and the big bad bug boss bot.

Sweet Pea//i should be the one you’re dancing with

hey! so i’ve kinda become obsessed with maisie peters and i kind of just want to write something based off every single one of her songs, but i’m refraining myself and this is the only one (for now). so i hope you like it! i was originally gonna write it for robin from stranger things but then i had this idea and was like, yeah, okay. i like this one more. enjoy! 

Class of 2020! 

The blue and gold banner hangs loosely over the doors you once dreaded walking through, now the dread is replaced with a dull unease, settling deep in your stomach as you try to remember the talking points you’ve practiced in the mirror ever since you got the stupid invitation 

Riverdale High’s Class of 2020, Five Year Reunion

You take a deep breath and smooth your hands over your outfit, the fabric becoming slightly damp from your clammy hands and you pull a face before dropping them to your sides. You can feel the card burning a hole through your bag and you send it a glare, despite it being an inanimate object. 

The last time you set foot over this threshold, was the day of graduation. And you remember standing with your friends, a bright yet anxious smile mirroring each of your faces. None of you really knowing what the future held, and all of you a mix of excitement and terror. Sitting between Archie and Jughead, Veronica and Betty on their sides, and all five of you holding on to each other for the final time and wondering what you’ll be doing the next time you see each other. 

None of you meant for it to be five years, but the ideal version of your life that you had back then, crumbled as soon as you left Riverdale. And you have a feeling none of your friends got exactly what they wanted either, otherwise you wouldn’t see their cars in the parking lot. 

Betty still has the ugly, yet cute in it’s own way, pale blue beetle her mom got her as a graduation present, only now it’s a lot more dinted than it was the last time you saw it. But the small teddy hanging from the mirror forces a smile to your lips as you remember the day she found it on the floor at the mall and said it looked too sad to be left there. 

Archie’s red pick-up truck sits beside it, even more beat up than you remember and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in the same amount of time, but there’s a blanket rolled up and tucked in the corner that reminds you of stargazing and getting drunk in the fields just outside of Riverdale. And how when you’re drunk in a field with all of your friends with no light apart from the small fire Kevin managed to start, it really feels like you’re the only people in the world. 

Jughead’s bike is in the far corner, surrounded by a bunch of similar looking ones and you smile at the sight. It’s nice to know that after all of these years, the serpents still stick together and try their hardest to stay away from the rest of the town. 

And Veronica, well, she has probably gone through at least ten cars since the last time you saw her, but the long black car with blacked out windows and a private number plate just screams Veronica Lodge and so it’s not hard to decipher who it belongs to. 

A few people stumble past you, laughing as they walk up the stairs and your eyebrows furrow as you watch them. How can they be so relaxed walking into a building that holds more ghosts than the creepy old house that sits on the corner of maple street. 

You really want to stay outside, you throw a glance over your shoulder and contemplate running back to your own car and leaving all together. You’ve already said hi to your parents, you could just go home and never return. And you get so close, you spin on your heel and re-arrange the bag on your shoulder, but then a voice calls your name and you feel 17 again. 

Blake Clark.

You can’t even count the amount of times you’ve dreamt of this moment. 

The countless daydreams you got lost in instead of doing your geometry work is probably the reason why you barely passed it. Blake Clark stepping out of the shadows and realising just how much of an idiot he was for never looking twice at you. Back then he would realize it after graduation and the two of you would have a very heated make out session underneath the bleachers while some 80′s pop song played in the background. 

Well, maybe not the end bit, but that always happened in your dream, and it’s what you always thought about whenever you listened to How Will I Know by Whitney. 

But of course, that didn’t happen and he ended up leaving with Clare Miller who’s eyes were always brighter than yours, skin clearer and smile prettier. You didn’t really blame him, to be honest, if given the choice you would have left with her too. 

But they drove away together like the ending scene of grease and you silently wished for them to have a minor crash. A horrible thought of course, but you were a kid who was lost and confused and didn’t know what to do with your life. 

You’re way more mature than that now. 

But when he flicks his cigarette away and sends you the same blinding smile he used to flash at every girl who looked at him, well it makes your knees a little weak and suddenly you’re trying to fight the smile that’s so desperately trying to claw it’s way onto your face. 

Oh god, he’s still so cool. Wait, no. Smoking isn’t cool, it wasn’t then and it certainly isn’t now. You’re 22, almost 23 for god’s sake, you will not be reduced to a stumbling, blushing mess just because a boy smiled at you. 

But he does have a pretty smile, why does he have to have pretty smile? 

“Brian.” You pretend to forget his name, and say it with enthusiasm, but not too much that it shows you’ve been instagram stalking him for the past five years. It’s a thin line, but you’re pretty sure you manage to find the balance. 

“Blake.” He corrects and glances at the ground. You laugh and and then cringe when you realize just how ridiculous you sound and probably look. 

“Blake.” You repeat and he nods, shoving his hands in his pockets. An awkward silence falls over the two of you and you look around the empty parking lot, watching a few brown leaves fall onto the wet grass. 

“So.” He starts and your eyes snap back at him. “How have you been?” 

“Good, good.” You reply, switching your weight from one foot to another and he nods along. 

“That’s good.” 

“And you?” 

“Yeah, I’ve been doing alright.” 

Alright would be living in a rented apartment at a reasonable price with neighbours that don’t despise you and a job that pays just above minimum wage. But he’s more than alright. 

He’s just been promoted to head of his department, he recently got back from Bali where he spent a month with all of his friends and he lives in a house. Not a flat, apartment or shared space. No, an actual house. With his dog. And even better, all traces of Clare have been wiped from social media. She’s no longer in his pictures, nor has she been mentioned in any of his posts. Her accounts have been dead for the past few months and she’s appeared on none of their friends, families or neighbours accounts. 

Which means she’s either in a coma, or they broke up. Either way, he’s single...ish. 

“Aw, I’m glad.” You smile, maybe a little too much for the moment and he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. 

“Do you wanna go in?” He asks and points towards the doors. You glance towards the ageing building, still just as in need of a paint as it was when you were here last, and the anxiety in your stomach bubbles. “It’s okay.” He adds, sensing your nerves and your expression softens. “You’ve got nothing to be afraid of.” He adds and his hand ghosts the small of your back, making a blush creep up your neck. 

“Thanks.” You reply and lean a little into his touch. You feel ridiculous following him up the stairs with the same love sick expression on your face as when you used to follow him around school in hopes that he would notice you. But the other part of you, the 17 year old still trapped due to the endless amounts of trauma you endured, doesn’t care. Because Blake Clark knows you exist, and he’s touching you, he’s telling you a funny story and now you’re laughing along with him like you’re been friends all this time. 

He opens the door for you and you send him a grateful smile before slowly walking into the gym. The smell of sweat and teenage despair is still ripe in the air and you choke a little of the staleness of it. Boy, does that bring back memories of having footballs thrown at your head. No wonder you get headaches far more often than you should. 

Your eyes scan the room, banners and streamers hang limply from the walls and ceiling in an attempt to make the faded green and brown room look a little more lively. But, still, it feels a little magical, especially when you hear Blake’s voice again. 

“Oh god, it hasn’t changed has it.” He whispers in your ear, a chuckle following that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand. “Hey, can you remember when Luke threw a football at er-oh god what was her name? Fuck, I can’t remember. Do you know who I’m on about? What was she called?” He rambles and you shake your head, a ghost of a smile playing on your lips as you watch him try and figure out who he’s talking about. “She had y/h/c, and it hit her in the stomach so hard she threw up and then cried. It was so funny.” He laughs, doubling over as he remembers the memory. “Do you remember?” 

“Yeah.” You nod. “It was me.” You add and he stops, his eyes widening as they meet your watery ones. 

“Shit, sorry. It wasn’t funny.” He shakes his head and you shrug, trying to will your tears away. 

You didn’t know you would ever be more heartbroken than you were the night of your senior prom and you saw Blake and Clare dancing, but now as you stand and watch Blake try to cover up the fact that he’s still the same immature and selfish boy he was five years ago, you prove yourself wrong. Because you’re sure if they weren’t blasting a heavily censored version of WAP, you would be able to hear the sound of your heart shattering. Which is something you never expected to happen at the same time. 

“It’s fine.” You say, forcing a smile as you try to play it off. 

“Babe!” A voice calls and the two of you turn around to face the source of the welcome interruption. 

Clare Miller. 

The brunette’s smile is wide as she approaches Blake and like she used to be, she’s followed by her friends that act like they’re the most lucky people in the world to be breathing the same air as her. 

“Hi.” You force a smile and her eyes snap from him to you. 

“Hi.” She replies and fakes a smile. “How have you been?” 

“Alright.” You shrug and she nods. You can tell she’s trying so hard not to look smug, and you hate the way you can feel all of their friends trying to burn a hole in your skin with their glares. “And you?” 

“Can you not tell?” She asks, a small laugh escaping her lips and you furrow your eyebrows. Blake moves to stand beside her and she sends a few looks at her friends before looking down and you follow her gaze. 

Oh. Pregnant, not in a coma. 

“Oh.” Your jaw goes slack as you stare at her rounded stomach and she rubs a hand over it. “Congratulations.” You smile, an actual real smile, which surprises not only her but yourself. You have no idea where that came from, but you’re glad you’ve matured enough to be happy for them 

“Thank you.” She smiles and presses a kiss to Blake’s cheek. Her hand grips his tightly and you notice her knuckles starting to turn white. 

“So, what hav-” 

“Well.” You interrupt, pointing to nowhere in particular. “I better go, I promised I would catch up with Betty and if I take any longer then I’m gonna get some angry texts.” You excuse yourself and they watch you rush off. 

As soon as you step foot outside of the gym doors, you let out a shaky breath and clutch at your chest, the fabric of your shirt feeling far to constricting for you to be able to breath properly. 

This wasn’t how it was supposed to go, you think pathetically as you slide down the wall. You know it’s stupid, you know that you should have just let it go, you thought you had. You thought you were over Blake and Clare and all of their friends that made your school life a living hell. 

You thought you’d turn up and you’d see your real friends, you’d catch up with them and you’d bitch about the people who used to bully you and how they look miserable. And you’d tell them about your life and maybe, if you were lucky Blake would have magically transformed into a kind, sweet, sensitive guy that would apologize for not seeing you, and you’d be able to live out your teenage dreams. 

He should be dancing with you, not her. But they look so happy, they’re both smiling and laughing and his hand is on her bump as he spins her around the dance floor, looking at her like she’s the only person in the world. 

Maybe that’s what you want. 

Maybe it’s not Blake you want, maybe it’s just the idea of him that you’ve built up in your head. I mean, you’ve given him a rich backstory and enough character development to write a five season tv show and a spin off movie that would do rubbish at the box office and the cast would regret acting in but hey, they would be at least a few die hard fans of it and now you’ve been staring the the same window in the door for too long and you look like a weirdo. 

You let out a shaky breath and stand up straight, trying to familiarise yourself with the layout of the school. But, it’s not like you could forget it, no, if you did it would be five years too late. 

And so you huff and run off to the bathroom, repeating the exact same steps from five years ago, almost to the day. And still crying over the same boy choosing the same girl. It’s pathetic really, you’re in your twenties now, you should be able to deal with this shit and it makes you feel even worse knowing that you’re not really sure why you’re feeling this heartbroken. 

All you know is it should be you, spinning with a vodka coke in your hand and trying your hardest not to spill it while laughing loudly with your friends. Everybody at your fingertips, yeah, that would be nice. 

If for just one night, you felt special. If somebody looked at you like you were the only person in the world. 

And then you’d grab your coat after sharing glances with...the one. Maybe that would be Blake, maybe it would be someone else. But all you know is that they would follow you out, and you’d act surprised as they called out your name, despite knowing that they wanted you. 

The two of you would talk and tease each other, sharing old jokes and new stories, and they’d walk you back to your parents house, despite you both being far too old to be doing that. And they’d kiss you on the front step, and that would be it.

As soon as you step foot in the bathroom, what’s left of your facade crumbles and you find yourself sitting on the floor, your back against the cold tile as you try to silence your sobs. Betty and Veronica are gonna start looking for you soon, you’d text them when you were outside and so by now they probably have a search party out. 

But every attempt falls flat and you find yourself a snotty, sobbing mess as tears drip down your face and stain your now crumpled outfit. 

You stretch your feet out, eyeing the shoes that you spent an hour picking out and can’t help but roll your eyes at them. You built all of this up far too tall, even buying a new outfit for it, just in case you did want to impress someone (Blake), and you definitely did. But it was all for nothing and you find yourself wishing you just put your trainers on, they’re so comfy compared to these, they don’t pinch your toes. 

But you’ve never been one for casual. You’ve always overthought every single thing you’ve ever done, maybe that’s why Blake wants to kiss Clare. She did and probably still does everything so effortlessly.

“Oh shit, sorry. I thought this was the mens.” A voice startles you from your pity party and you stand quickly, your eyes remaining on the floor. “Wait.” He stops and eyes the bathroom before his eyes fall on you. “This is the men’s. Y/n? Are you lost?” He asks and your eyes snap up to meet his brown ones. A toothy smile breaks out onto his face as he looks you up and down and before you know it a pair of strong arms are wrapped around your body and the smell of cologne invades your senses. 

“It’s been so long! How have you been?” He asks as he pulls away, but one of his hands remain on your shoulder and you feel yourself relax a little at the contact. “What’s wrong?” He follows up the previous question as he notices your red eyes and wobbling lip. “Did Archie wear that stupid tie again, I thought Veronica made him get rid of it before graduation.” 

“No.” You shake your head, a watery smile pulling at your lips and he steps further into the room, letting the wooden door swing closed behind him. “It’s nothing, I was actually just leaving.” You say and point to the door. 

He furrows his eyebrows, giving you the signature Sweet Pea look and you find yourself realising that it’s something you’ve missed. Near the end of the school, you and Sweet Pea became quite close. The two of you would hang out, never intentionally, but if everybody else had left, you’d always stay a little while longer just the two of you. 

You’d find yourself sharing homework, giving him the answers before class and when you were given the chance to mark each others work, you may have done some tweaking and he always returned the favour. 

You hadn’t realised just how much you’d missed him. But now that he’s stood in front of you, you kind of don’t want him to go anywhere for a while. And he somehow looks exactly the same as he used to, the only difference is that he’s stopped putting super glue in his hair, showing off his natural curls that you never knew about until now. 

Oh, and he looks happy. Genuinely happy and that makes your heart ache for an entirely different reason. 

“I can walk you home if you want.” He offers and you shake your head, already side stepping him. 

“No, no. It’s fine. I’m just gonna walk home by myself.” You say, trying to play off the absolute storm of emotions your feeling and he gives you a pointed look that makes your shoulders slump. 

“Have you been crying?” He asks and you suck in a breath, wow, he’s very forward. More forward than you remember him being.  “What? No!” You say defensively. “There’s just smoke in my eyes.” You mumble the last part and a small chuckles slips past his lips.  “Sure there is.” He nods. “And let me guess, the snot is because you’ve got hayfever?” He asks and your eyes widen as you grab a few tissues and quickly wipe your nose. “Come on Y/l/n, there’s got to be a reason you’re hiding in the boys bathroom. So, spill.” He says and sits in the spot you were previously in. 

You stare down at him, your eyebrow raised but he looks unfazed and so you just sigh and sit beside him, brushing your shoulder against his. 

“Don’t you have better things to do than sit in here and listen to me mope?” 

“Nope.” He shrugs, and crosses his arms over his chest. “I would much rather sit on a dirty, pee stained floor than listen to Reggie go on and on about his amazing life.” He replies and you pull a face. “Exactly.” 

“Pee stained floor?” 

“Oh yeah, boy’s bathrooms are disgusting.” He says and your nose crinkles while you stare down at the ground. “So come on, tell me what’s wrong so we can leave the pee room.” 

“Did you think things would be different?” You ask and he frowns. “Like when you were graduating, how did you imagine your life in five years, and is it everything you hoped for?” 

“Erm.” He thinks for a few seconds, making some odd noises while he does and you send him an amused look. 

“I did yeah, but then again I didn’t think I would graduate, so really anything I’ve done after that has exceeded my expectations.” He shrugs and your expression softens at his realness. “Why? What hasn’t gone the way you wanted to?” 

“How long have you got?” You raise an eyebrow and laugh bitterly. “I thought I was doing alright, I have an apartment that’s reasonably priced, I make like quite a bit over minimum wage, my neighbours love me and two days ago I bought $7 wine that ended up scanning for $3.50 so that was good.” You start and a small laugh passes his lips when you tell him about the wine. 

“But ever since I got that stupid invitation through the post, I  just feel like I’ve been transformed back to 17 years old where I was hopelessly in love with a boy that would look right through me every time he walked by. And I thought tonight would be different, I thought because we’ve both grown and matured that our eyes would meet across the room and it’d be like it is in the movies. Because that’s what every 17 year old wants, and apparently that’s what 22 year old me wants.” You ramble, tears rolling down your cheeks and Sweet Pea sighs beside you. You feel him glance at you and he shifts uncomfortably before nudging you with his elbow. “I sound really stupid, I know. Life isn’t like a John Hughes movie where the girl gets the guy.” 

“It sucks that it isn’t though.” He says, surprising you and you look at him shocked. “I’m sorry that it didn’t work out though. Who was it?” 

“Blake Clark.” 

“Blake Clark!?” He gasps, his widening and you look at him offended. “Really? Him?” 

“Shut up.” You laugh. “I was 17 what else do you expect from me?” 

“Honestly, I expected more.” He says with a stern expression making you pout. The two of you stare at each other before a smile cracks his lips and the two of you giggle quietly to yourselves. “But I think you’re right. This isn’t a John Hughes movie, but John Hughes movies are overrated anyway, I mean Pretty in Pink? That is a film that has not aged well. We’re old now so what would your film be called? The mouldy breakfast club?” He asks, a grin on his face that grows when you groan at his joke. 

“That was so bad.” You shake your head. 

“Coming from you? Yeah, I don’t trust your judgement after you’ve just told me you’re in love with Blake.” 

“I’m not in love with him!” You argue. “I would just like to be noticed.” You huff and cross your arms over your chest. 

“Believe me, you could never not be noticed.” He says, a nervous smile twitching at his lips and you look away shyly. “Come on.” He quickly changes the subject and pushes himself up. He stands above you and holds a hand out to you. Your eyes meet his, and as your fingers lace with his, the faint sound of Whitney Houston fills your ears making you grin. “I’ll walk you home.”

Ultimo giro...ultima corsa dell'anno: Nirvana In Fire, D-day e Unexpected Heroes

Ci tenevo, prima di salutare quest'anno, a scrivere almeno due righe sugli ultimi drama visti.

Anche perché tutto sommato non è andata affatto male.

Nirvana in Fire

Partiamo con il pezzo da novanta. Questo drama era in lista dall'alba dei tempi e che avevo sempre pochissima voglia di vedere, data la mole di episodi: 54.

Troppi per me.

Fortunatamente @veronica-nardi è venuta in mio soccorso ed insieme abbiamo affrontato questo viaggio che a me devi dire è piaciuto assai.

Non starò a scrivere la trama qui. Vi basti sapere che Nirvana tratta il tema della vendetta o meglio di un percorso arduo ed a tratti impossibile che porta ad ottenere giustizia. È un viaggio lungo e complesso, intricato e super interessante che porta in scena tantissimi personaggi e piani strategici.

Nirvana in Fire è una serie complessa soprattutto inizialmente ma una volta che prende il via cattura. Soprattutto gli amanti dei piani e complotti...coloro che adorano vedere gente chiusa in una stanza che chiacchiera e pianifica nell'ombra.

Lin Shu o Mu Cheng - dipende a chi lo chiedi - offre allo spettatore un viaggio attraverso complotti e piani strategici ( è il Petyr Bealish asiatico ) alla corte dell'Imperatore con lo scopo di far salire al trono il 6° figlio dell'uomo e riaprire un caso di tradimento di 12 anni fa portando alla luce la verità di ciò che è davvero successo.

Mentre osserviamo il percorso del nostro protagonista è inevitabile rimanere folgorati dalla sua intelligenza e capacità di pianificazione. E' talmente davanti a tutti gli altri partecipanti alla corsa per il trono che i cosiddetti villain fanno solo la figura degli idioti incapaci.

Nonostante io abbia ammirato Lin Shu, devo dire che ho dato il mio cuore al Principe Jung. Tralasciando il fatto che pensavo che la storia tra lui e Lin Shu fosse un mezzo BL visto il grande affetto e ricordo tra i due... Il Sesto Principe mi ha fatto una tenerezza assurda, in tutti i momenti in cui pensava o soffriva la mancanza di Lin Shu, rifiutandosi di darlo per morto e sperando sempre nella sua salvezza e in un suo ritorno a casa. La perla portata a casa come ultimo regalo per il migliore amico è una storia bromance stupenda.

Altri personaggi che mi sono piaciuti sono stati il Marchese di Yan e suo figlio mentre avrei avuto piacere in un pò più di spazio per Xiao Jinrui. Partito quasi all'inizio della serie e tornato praticamente gli ultimi 3 episodi. Peccato, perché secondo me poteva portare un ottimo status di conflitto e tensione nella storia.

Ovviamente menzione d'onore per Il comandante Meng che rispecchiava perfettamente tutti noi quando Lin Shu spiegava i suoi piani cervellotici e c'era della difficoltà nel capirli. Le sue espressioni erano oro colato. XD

Dal lato villain invece vorrei spezzare una lancia verso il Principe Yu. A me è piaciuto tantissimo: intelligente e ambizioso con quel pizzico di tragedia che male mai non fa. Ho adorato la sua determinazione per 10 anni nella lotta per il trono con il Principe Ereditario prima e con il principe Jing poi... non ha mai mollato. E le scene con suo padre nel finale della sua storia sono i suoi momenti più belli.

Ho letto che nel romanzo - che spero prima o poi di leggere ma in italiano sarà difficile - la storia di sua madre diverge dalla serie. Ed onestamente forse lo avrei preferito: quella parte è così casuale e poco studiata che cozza che la perfezione e cura del dettaglio che contraddistingue tutta la serie.

Ultima nota per quanto riguarda i personaggi la vorrei lasciare alla Consorte Jing - nel podio del personaggi più intelligenti della serie - e all'Imperatore. Vedere la scalata sua e di suo figlio tra i ranghi della corte è stato molto soddisfacente: bravissima nel nascondere le sue vere emozioni e intenzioni facendo la remissiva e accomodante mentre "manipolava" l'Imperatore mi ha dato enorme soddisfazione!

Mentre l'imperatore credo che sia stato uno dei personaggi più interessanti della serie. La sua ossessione per il trono, l'invidia per il primogenito, il suo voler controllare la status quo della corte aizzando i fratelli uno contro l'altro, favorendo uno o l'altro perché non si alleassero contro di lui, denota per me una caratterizzazione molto avvincente. Il suo scontro finale con Lin Shu chiude in modo perfetto il suo arco narrativo tirando fuori tutte quelle tensioni e rivelazioni che si annusavano già durante la serie.

Un altro punto a favore devo darlo alla fotografia e alla regia. Semplicemente perfette, insieme alle OST azzeccatissime. Ci sono state delle inquadrature e dei lavori di montaggio strepitosi, a tratti poetici.

Ultima nota prima di andare alle parti che mi hanno lasciato un po' meh, riguarda la morte del protagonista. Io e veronica speravamo che Lin Shu ci lasciasse davvero le penne e che non trovassero una cura miracolosa per salvarlo come accade spesso nei drama. Fortunatamente non è stato così ed ho apprezzato la coerenza narrativa che ha donato quel tocco di dramma e tristezza che il finale di questa serie si meritava.

Andiamo alle questioni invece, che mi hanno lasciato più perplessa:

La protagonista e la storia d'amore.

Per carità, l'idea della protagonista guerriera e fedele innamorata non era male. Ma credo che sia rimasta troppo poco sullo schermo ed ho trovato la sua storyline legata unicamente al lead, un po' noiosa. Ritengo che Mu Sh avesse tutte le caratteristiche, come carattere e storia per avere più presenza e una storyline tutta sua. Magari anche legata al suo ruolo come guerriera.

Ed anche la storia d'amore per quanto bella, non l'ho minimamente percepita. Sarà il poco minutaggio appunto. O forse il fatto che raramente i due personaggi pensavano uno all'altro. Non so'...magari delle scene dove Lin Shu sognava un futuro irrealizzabile con la sua amata? O magari Mu ricordava il primo incontro tra loro? Non basta dirmi che erano e sono innamorati. Devi farmelo anche vedere il loro amore.

2) Introspezione

Sarò cagazzi io, ma amo quando le serie si prendono la briga di fermarsi un attimo e analizzare la psicologia e l'animo dei personaggi. Per me Nirvana in Fire - anche a causa della storia così complicata - non ha lasciato abbastanza spazio a questo, preferendo concentrarsi sullo svolgersi della storia. Che non è male! Ed è perfettamente in linea con il genere della storia. Ma non nego che avrei amato se la serie avesse rallentato un attimo lasciando pezzi di analisi e introspezione.

Tipo ampliando il risvolto della storia tra Jinrui e Lin Shu. O della scoperta della vera identità di Lin Shu da parte di Jingyi. O anche un minimo approfondimento degli eventi di 13 anni prima che hanno portato poi all'ammazzamento generale. Magari con il Marchese Yan che ricordava la sua amata...

3) Parenti ovunque

Capire le parentele ed i legami tra i personaggi meriterebbe una laurea a parte. Soprattutto inizialmente quando la storia entra nel suo svolgimento e ti vengono presentati via via i characters, ho fatto una fatica incredibile non solo a ricordarmi chi fosse quel personaggio. Ma anche a collegarlo con gli altri: solo verso il 10° episodio e guardando una mappa online ho capito che l'Imperatore aveva delle sorelle! Tutto molto intrigante - io ho adorato una così complessa dinamica familiare - ma non posso negare la fatica.

Concludendo: Nirvana in fire è una serie da vedere per chi ama il genere vendetta/giustizia portata alla luce in modo intelligente, quasi intellettuale. E' poetico, drammatico e richiede un cervello attivo 24H ma alla fine regala una storia stupenda e narrativamente coerente. Anche nel finale che di solito scagano tutti!

D- day

Terremoti e tragedie

Drama che ho inserito e tolto più volte dalla mia lista perché le recensioni non mi convincevano ma che alla fine ha vinto la battaglia della visione perché non solo l'ho visto...ma l'ho anche apprezzato. Certo, non è un capolavoro quanto il drama sopracitato ma ha saputo tenermi incollata allo schermo per 20 episodi, narrandomi una storia carina e avvincente con qualche spunto di riflessione interessante.

Certo, un grande merito va al cast: Kim Young Kwang porta in scena un così adorabile Lee Hae Sung modello dottorino che è impossibile non amarlo. E anche Jung So Min è stata molto brava - forse mi è piaciuta più di lui - nel suo ruolo di specializzanda così tenera: sono già 2 drama che mi vedo con lei e che la apprezzo sempre di più come attrice!

La storia parla di un terremoto che porta morti e feriti nella città di Seoul. Non solo: con l'elettricità mancante, l'acqua risicata, strade inagibili e mancanza di medicinali diventa difficilissimo sopravvivere. Ma è difficilissimo anche per i dottori e pompieri aiutare e fare il loro lavoro. D- day si concentra sulle lotte dell'animo umano di fronte ai disastri: tra chi è disposto a sacrificarsi per gli altri e chi invece mette sé stesso ed i suoi principi davanti a tutti.

Adoro le serie apocalittiche o post apocalittiche: osservare la natura umana trovarsi di fronte a scelte difficili in condizioni fuori da ogni zona di comfort. E su questo frangente la serie non mi ha delusa. Certo la CGi poteva essere fatta un tantino meglio ma ho apprezzato quello che ho visto: la sensazione di pericolo era palpabile e tanto mi basta.

Come è stato encomiabile il lavoro svolto per la parte etica/morale di dottori e pompieri ma anche di persone comuni. Per quanto si possa parteggiare per il lead nel suo voler salvare a tutti i costi quante più vite umane possibili è importante il punto di vista del dottor Han quando sosteneva che operare in certe condizioni facesse più male al paziente che bene. Ora, io sto dalla parte del lead ma ho apprezzato come il drama mettesse in campo anche voci ragionevoli contrarie: l'ho trovato realistico. Come ho trovato realistico il fatto che molti dottori abbiano abbandonato il loro posto per salvarsi ecc ecc... era facile scadere nel buonismo e sono contenta che D- day non abbia fatto quest'errore.

Come detto sopra ho apprezzato anche i due lead: lui così eroico - pure troppo - da andare contro tutti e tutto pur di salvare la vita di qualcuno. Ho perso il conto delle volte in cui ha rischiato o è stato licenziato... e questo forse è stata una delle cose che ho trovato un po' ripetitive. Ma accidenti! Lee Hae Sung ha un sorriso e un modo di fare talmente adorabile che gli si perdona tutto. Anche fare operazioni chirurgiche avendole viste una volta sola. Ora, io capisco tutto...ma davvero questo basta che gli metti un bisturi in mano e ti fa qualsiasi operazione: dal cuore al cervello fino al parto ecc ecc... un genio della medicina.

Ddol Mi invece non è brava quanto il lead...ma ha talento. Sotto la guida del guro del bisturi da specializzanda di ortopedia porta a termine qualsiasi genere di chirurgia. Bravissima. XD Tralasciando le battute è stato bello vedere la sua evoluzione: da dottoressa un po' menefreghista e poco responsabile a medico capace e competente, che rimane in trincea per aiutare gli altri.

Anche la loro storia d'amore è stata carina e adorabile. Credo che i due attori abbiano una buona chimica che li ha aiutati a rendere più vere e divertenti le scene assieme. Peccato che tra loro ci sia solo un misero bacio...per di più a stampo. Si sono sprecati! Ed anche il finale poteva essere fatto un po' meglio...un tantinello frettoloso.

A fare compagnia ai due lead troviamo anche i dottori ed infermieri dell'ospedale: alcuni carini e interessanti. Altri meno. Il dottor Han mi piaceva come personaggio ma non mi ha convinto troppo la sua recitazione. E la rivelazione dell'errore compiuto sulla mamma del lead è stata così anti climatica e inutile che avrei fatto causa agli sceneggiatori: qual era il senso di aver messo tutta tra tensione e conflitto per questa storyline se poi è finita a tarallucci e vino? L'infermiera Ji Na poi non mi ha smosso chissà quali emozioni ed il suo conflitto con il padre sembrava uno spreco di tempo. Il Direttore faceva qualcosa di male, lei lo sgridava e lo rimproverava piangendo e... stop. Basta. E si andava avanti così per 20 episodi. Avrei capito se la figlia avesse fatto poi effettivamente qualcosa per o contro questo padre ma vederla solo urlargli addosso per poi andarsene per i fatti suoi non è stato poi così avvincente.

Mi è piaciuto invece il tirocinante che lavorava a stretto contatto con Ddol Mi! Era carino e divertente e le sue scene con la ragazza mi hanno strappato spesso delle grasse risate. Che nella tragedia generale serviva per stemperare un po' il dramma. XD

Bello anche il ruolo che la serie ha dato ai pompieri e le difficoltà che insieme ai dottori hanno dovuto affrontare: la poca acqua per spengere gli incendi, il mettere a rischio la loro vita per salvare gli altri ecc ecc... fino ad arrivare alla morte e sacrificio del fratello del lead. E' stato straziante soprattutto per il protagonista che povero, si è ritrovato con un padre morto, una madre in coma ed infine un fratello deceduto. E' morto da eroe...ma ha fatto comunque male. Certo è che avrei sofferto ancora di più se la serie avesse approfondito un po' il suo personaggio e le sue relazioni con gli altri. Ma non mi lamento troppo.

Bocciato invece il villain della serie: il Direttore dell'ospedale. Troppo cattivo e avido tanto da rasentare una macchietta. Io capisco l'avidità e l'ambizione...ma circondato da personaggi umani e realistici nelle loro scelte etiche e morali, un cattivo così stereotipato mi ha rovinato tutta l'atmosfera. E no, il change of heart finale non risolleva il suo personaggio. Anzi.

D- day poi ha una fraccata di altri personaggi...pure troppi. Dalla primaria del pronto soccorso al suo fidanzato, dalla bambina sorda al dottore che faceva la spia per il direttore. Dal cognato del Direttore all'infermiera/sorella del protagonista fino alla psicologa amica del lead. Troppi. E' chiaro l'intento della serie nel portare in campo così tanti personaggi: avere uno sguardo a 360 gradi sulle dinamiche in questo contesto portando più storie possibili su schermo. Devo però dire che non è una strategia che amo particolarmente.

Riassumendo D- day è stata una serie piacevole e godibile. Mi ha tenuta incollata allo schermo per 20 puntate non solo per la trama avvincente ed il suo genere ma anche per aver saputo portare alla luce l'umanità, il bene e male dei suoi personaggi, catapultandoli in un contesto disperato.

Unexpected Heroes

Partire a razzo e finire a ca....o

Dramino su You Tube - un web drama da pochissime puntate - Unexpected Heroes, nonostante le sue basi partiva a bomba.

La storia era seducente: tre adolescenti - che casualmente frequantano tutti e tre la stessa scuola - ricevono rispettivamente un trapianto d'organi dallo stesso donatore. Il donatore in questione non è però una persona qualunque ma un detective che è stato assassinato.

Quando i tre giovani di risvegliano scoprono di avere poteri soprannaturali legati all'organo donatogli: c'è che vede benissimo e ricorda tutto ciò che vede, chi mantiene i battiti del cuore a 70 qualsiasi cosa accade e chi si ritrova con una super forza. I tre ragazzi si ritrovano infine a vivere assieme e decidono prima di usare i loro poteri per fare giustizia e poi di scoprire chi abbia ammazzato il loro donatore.

Non è una storia carina? Insomma a me ha ispirato parecchio. Tanto da maratonarmelo e godermelo pure con i sub inglesi da quanto mi incuriosiva. Di mezzo poi c'è anche la storia d'amore - triangolo per lo più - che pur non essendo nulla di speciale mi interessava assai. Ed a distanza di 10 episodi ancora non so per chi dei due ragazzi tifare. XD

Trovo inoltre intrigante il fatto che i poteri non fossero roba alla raggi laser o invisibilità ma cose più particolari e meno stereotipate.

Anche i personaggi e il cast non erano male. Chiaramente con 10 episodi da 15 minuti non puoi certo caratterizzare o approfondirli ma quel pochino che era su schermo non era male. Ed i ragazzi erano stati tratteggiati abbastanza bene e chiaramente. Devo fargli i complimenti per la recitazione perché se la sono cavata egregiamente.

E quindi, dove è il dramma? Perché quel sottotitolo?

Per il finale.

Perché è brutto? uno si può chiedere.

Perché è incoerente?

o poco chiaro?

No. E' perché non c'è.

La serie si chiude con il cattivo - l'assassino del donatore - che sta davanti alla casa de tre ragazzi armato di mazza mentre guarda la casa con sguardo cattivo.

E fine.

FINE.

F.I.N.E.

MA COME ACCIDENTI TI VIENE IN MENTE DI CHIUDERLA COSì?????????? DOVE è LA SECONDA STAGIONE? Perché se la chiudi in questa maniera è perché hai in programma un seguito per concludere tutta la storia...giusto?!

Ma a quanto pare non si parla di nessuna seconda stagione...ergo per adesso devo considerare QUESTO come finale. E fa male perché questa fine mi ha lasciata cosi frustrata e insoddisfatta per una serie tutto sommato godibile e carina.

The first post credits scene left me shaking and in tears of happiness because I sincerely didn’t expect to even see her, let alone in this gorgeous suit. They managed to keep her iconic shoulders and the circles on her leggings, I’m OBSESSED!!! And bless Charlize for sharing those HQ photo of her corset and that backstage video, it seriously helped me. 🙏🏻 Please consider this is a Work In Progress, I’m aiming to turn this into a bigger illustration about Clea and I’ll definitely fix this as soon as we’ll get better photos of her whole costume.
